Improving The Ride On Your Roxor...

what's up guys Anthony here from McGee's garage and today I'm going to show you arguably probably the best mod we've ever done to the rocksore so of course you know the rocka's changed since the last time you guys have seen it on the channel but this right here is what the video is about these are corbo suspension seats they have paracord underneath the seat that allows for a softer ride they're also reclinable and they're short enough to fit in here with a CJ windshield this CJ windshield's here so that we can use wfo rollar stanions see I go down here working on them right now and then we're going to build a rollar that comes up and over and connects probably to the stock roll bar maybe I don't know we're at least going to use the the bottom pieces these seats are without a doubt probably the best mod in terms of drivability SL comfort that you can do to this rock short of four linking it I'm not sure if most of the people that watch my videos have a rock sore I'm going to say probably not but uh if you ever have a chance to sit in one you see it at a dealership or something go do it and you sit in the seat and it feels like it's it's literally worse than like a bus seat it almost feels like you're sitting in the back of a cop car or something not that I do that on a regular basis but it's it's hard and it sucks on the stock seats there's there's no there's no bolsters there's no side support So if you're actually planning on doing some spirited driving with this thing you're going to have to change the seats out at some point so we were able to use the stock seat rails my dad actually went ahead and installed these those are the stock seat rails there and then they actually uh he drilled the boxes under here and they're attached from underneath and they are solid and you know this doesn't really get in the way of shift you know there's there's second that's as close as it gets it does touch the seat but you know that doesn't really bother me you know there's fourth reverse you know it's not it it's only touches in second and really that this is worth it so of course these seats I think if you want those exact ones they're about 7 eight maybe 900 bucks now I don't know everything keeps changing in price but anyway we actually found those on Marketplace and they were like literally exactly what we needed uh some guy was selling them for uh for a deal out of a Jeep Cherokee and we ended up uh they they came with the stands and everything too and one of the neighbors he builds Jeep Cherokees so you know we gave them the stands we kept the seats cuz we were kind of afraid we were looking at the seats and we weren't sure if we were going to have to cut these boxes or not cuz these boxes are big and I know that people like these uh but I really don't see them being necessary it kind of remind reminds me of like the Land Rover Defenders have something like this and really it just makes the seat Too Tall like I can sit in here and I'm actually under the CJ windshield but if you're doing a CJ windshield in your rock swur which I recommend you do if you're like 6t or something you're going to be like your head's going to be like like here right there which is part of the reason that we're keeping the stock rollar here because like even if I was driving it or like if my dad's driving it like let's say we're doing an event there's no room for a helmet in here especially like there's barely room for him to drive and then if he put on a helmet it's just it's it it won't work uh we're looking at building the cage up down around we actually have the bumper at sand blasting right now and then these steps are done finally capped off but without a doubt these are the best seats period that I've uh found for the rocksore something that you guys need to realize these seats are so dang comfortable compared to the stock seats and we're able to take the rock sore out for hours now beforehand it was like there was almost like a time limit on how long you could have the rocks are out because the seats just sucked so bad but these are you know suspension paracord seats short of four linking your rocksor this is the best thing you can do for the ride there's some other things you can do to soften the ride on the Rock swur uh while keeping leaf springs and stuff and without having to cut everything out and put four link in uh there's this guy called Max Anthony he owns this uh this company I believe it's called On The Rocks I'll probably I I don't know him but I'll probably just link it down below so you guys can see what he's all got going on but he has the shackle kit that allows you to run YJ Springs and YJ Springs are a little bit longer and it'll allow you to run kind of a lighter spring and it will ride better this rock sore isn't equipped with that uh it will be soon at some point if you're just doing stock Springs on a rocksore these seats right here this is what you need like let's say you have back problems or something that uh would limit the amount of time you can sit on basically a hard bus seat uh you should really get some kind of suspension seat and in my opinion coros are the best option
