I'm selling my projects (and MERCH!)

hey everyone um i don't really know how to start this video that's not a very good start of the video let me try again hey guys um so if you actually hate me but begrudgingly subscribe because you're kind of enamored by the projects that i build this is probably not the video for you because instead of making things i'm just gonna be talking wow that was not a good sales pitch for a video hey guys okay so i promise i have another video coming out this month but i do need to hey everyone i promise i have another video coming out this month but i had to announce some things so um you're getting like a bonus video that has no educational content whatsoever long story short i have decided to tackle a project that i'm really excited about and um i think is going to be great for the channel and for growing my business and for um my life but it requires a little bit more cash on hand than i have at the moment so i decided to part ways with a lot of my projects and hopefully find them new homes so i've listed three of my projects from this year on ebay um you can find the links down below and this is actually not the first time i've done this i sold my tensegrity table a little more than a year ago to fund my move out to california i'm not as sad about it as i thought it might be because like i have already made amazing memories with these projects i've learned a lot from them i have videos that i'm really proud of as a result of them and uh to be perfectly honest i live in like a 600 square foot apartment and i have this garage which is a one car one and a half car garage and that's it so i don't have space to keep a lot of the gigantic things that i make so yeah now they're available for sale i don't know if or when i'm gonna do this again so yeah jump on it i've listed all the projects on ebay and the links for them are down below i'll actually go live and live stream the ending of all the auctions so tune in in a week for that so the first thing that i'm selling is actually the downwind faster than the wind vehicle that i made for the veritasium video it's been signed by derek veritasium as well as by me color spins the wheels turn it's exactly like it was when i posted the video except that now it's been signed the second thing that i'm selling is the bulletproof ball gown the bodice and the skirt and the hoop skirt section will all be shipped and i'm i'm really proud of this one it's got a bullet hole right in the heart where i shot it um it's got the little a couple little pieces of lead still in the in the fabric lining it's got some scuffs on it from being out in the desert and stuff but i think it would look really cool as a piece of art in someone's house or something i'm also going to be selling xyla phony she's kind of cool she's got some pretty serious battle scars there's a bullet hole through her face that was a 22 and then she's got a bunch of bullet holes in her body shot by both me and joe and officer greg uh she ships exactly as is you get what you get yep that i am i've also listed the additional form that i made for the dress feels a little weird to sell like uh never mind it's weird it feels weird but oh that's even weirder um i don't know it sounded like a good solution in my head um yeah i'm also selling one of the epoxy stained glass panels that i made for a video over on total bird's channel and it it is of the spirit of columbus which was the first airplane flown around the world by a woman it's a cessna 180. it's this like really cute tail dragger and it's actually it's a really nice piece of art i'm really proud of it and last but not least i'm selling the party kayak i've listed it for less than the cost of materials to build it um i think it would be a really cool thing for someone who likes projects to take on admittedly i didn't make some of the modifications that i wanted to when i finished the video and when i moved it out to california just because i never had time so i would say it probably needs a bulkhead or a rib um it's plenty strong it's just a little bit flexible i'm happy to provide guidance to whoever buys it on how to do that installation i think it would find a really happy home with someone who likes to tinker and likes to reprogram the lights all the time because that's sort of the merit of it so yeah and that brings me to merch i'm officially launching my merch store today i'm really excited about it there's three designs up right now and two more that are related to the project the secret project uh will be going live the on november 29th yeah so there will be five total items available for the holiday season this year uh anything ordered in november i believe will be shipped by the holidays if you want to guarantee holiday gifts i would recommend getting your orders in like right now so they're going to be pre-orders for the first week and then i'll sort of like guesstimate what to buy after that but xylo you've announced your merch and you're not wearing it and that's because i just finished designing it so the proofs are still in the mail but i did wear a green shirt so that editors isla could green screen shirt on me yeah uh editors ellie you're fired that's terrible okay it's not like you pay me i'm also releasing this mug and i was really specific that it had to be a bigger mug than you standard mug because i drink a lot of coffee so you're welcome to all my fellow hot drink addicts it is a slightly bigger mug last but certainly not least my joking has gone far too far and i am really excited to announce a very distinguished and designer collaboration between two high-end designers uh xylo foxlin x bottle totes boaters tote it is limited edition because i don't know when totalboat will shut me down on this i have a very informal permission but they have a new branding manager so so definitely get these xylophoxyx bottle tote voters tote wow supplies last man i feel like this video was super awkward because all i did was try to sell you things so what can i do to make it interesting um oh i guess here's a fun update oh maybe i'll list this actually i just learned to power carve arbor tech sent me some tools and they've been really fun definitely a good christmas gift uh so here's my first power carved object it's a really useless spoon i don't know what you're scooping that's this big maybe like rice bird seed i'll finish it but i'll list it yeah eh not today but maybe tomorrow i'll have it end the same day though spoon my first power card project will be listed now because i wanted to make this video more interesting and instead i just sold you more stuff okay you know what on that note i'ma go guys i don't know what i'm doing and i am meeting up with someone to film a christmas
