Im Back But Things Will Be Different..

welcome to the reel no i don't have lawrence fishburne's voice and this is the real world not youtube land the show where everything's made up and the points don't matter first person to guess that movie and show gets a pink comment and one million youtube points [Music] welcome back everybody so i know it's been a while since i posted a video something like five or six months that's ridiculous right so i'm back uh yeah i just wanted to give a quick channel update and let you guys know what was going on because i again haven't posted a video in a long time um so we're going to be getting back into posting videos here very shortly starting with this one i didn't want to just jump right into it and start uploading videos that didn't make sense and all that other good stuff [Music] i'm like staying out here in the middle of nowhere with like no vehicle around me whatsoever the car driving by or sharing at me like what the heck see one of the hardest parts about being a youtuber is actually making a watchable video i can't just throw a whole bunch of clips together and have it make sense how do you think they got that one who's gonna do something clever but yeah i ruined it now we are gonna be moving here we are currently looking for a new workshop and a new house because we still don't have a place to live uh for the past again five six months i don't even know how long it's been at this point we've been bouncing back and forth between family members houses staying in spare bedrooms living in the car that sort of thing and it's been really difficult because we've got stuff here we have stuff in storage we have stuff at other people's houses we've got stuff everywhere and it's been really difficult to do everyday life things and continue to post videos and keep up with youtube and all that sort of stuff so it's seven o'clock on monday i'm sitting here on the floor in the corner editing this trying to figure out how i'm going to turn this into a watchable video that makes sense on this youtube channel without it being an hour long video and fitting in all the information that i need to fit in moving forward that's gonna change because i think we're at a point now where we can make some decisions and uh continue on with the whole youtube thing we've also been really busy uh here at knifepointgear making our backpacking saw we got inundated with a bunch of orders we will talk more about that later on the youtube channel another thing is my brother who you may or may not have seen in some previous videos he's going to be a part of this now he's going to be working here with me in the shot occasionally as well as maybe helping the film and who knows what whatever he's going to do whatever he does and i still haven't figured that part out yet so if you see another person that's who it is i've been looking for a place to uh move to looking for a house and a shop and we've looked high and low at this point we've looked locally we even went across the country and looked at some spots across the country for potential places to move to and i think for now as much as i would like to move out there at this point i don't think we're uh quite ready for that i think for now we're going to be staying locally here that could i could change tomorrow i don't know at this point it's like that place you drive through to get to where you're going for some of the videos that i've got coming up are you know they're just simple youtube videos kind of like uh how youtube videos were when youtube first started and whoever invented this method of storing sockets should be put in jail i think i i kind of got to a point where i felt like every video that i put out here on outdoor 55 had to be super produced and everything and it's nice to do videos like that occasionally but it was kind of getting out of hand um spending you know a month working on one video i don't really think that's the way to go so we'll be getting back to doing you know simple youtube videos that are hopefully informative and show you something that you haven't seen before [Music] i was gonna write mystery box but i don't know how to spell mystery also we have a mystery box which we're gonna be going through in a future video so stay tuned for that very excited about it just like everything else i'm just super excited to be back here on youtube and making videos after a long long hiatus along those lines long showing you something that you haven't seen before i got some new equipment in right now that is going to help show a lot of the things that i've been talking about on the youtube channel for a long time now thank you guys for sticking around i really appreciate all the views and subscribers and comments i had a bunch of people reach out to me on instagram and through email um through our website and uh you know ask what's going on ask if we were okay and all that sort of stuff and i really really appreciate the concern again thank you so much for being supportive all this time and uh yeah we'll see in the next video [Music] i've got cords and little cameras and all kinds of stuff all over the place
