let's react to Dylan McKnight's video called I'm an average looking guy that tried looks maxing 30-day update what you're looking at right now is the ugliest I have ever been I went through some depression recently that really caused a lack of self-care in my life even if you look actually overall quite attractive or overall have nice features when you interact with people and you give off you know bad energy then they're not as attracted to you but not necessarily just because of your facial features or the way that your body appears for example but it could just be because of that overall Vibe but I'm done feeling sorry for myself for the next 30 days I will be strictly following the mail model protocol and at the end of the 30 days I will be showing my results all right so he's applying some skin care here so you know we have the feel confident line so I saw him using some sort of moisturizer and a serum we have our own as you guys know and that of course can help Revitalize Iz the skin and then I also saw him like rolling a little bit to try to get that blood supply going so um you know some people are are firm Believers in that I do not even feel like the same human being anymore I'm not fishing for compliments my experience thus far in life has been that I'm an average looking dude and that's all and as of currently I wouldn't even call myself average I'm breaking out bad mainly from poor diet choices and as a reflection of a poor diet my face is always super bloated buzzing off my hair recently has exposed my receding hairline well by now you guys know what to do with the receding hairline most importantly you have to get on finasteride because you can help delay and potentially even stop the hair loss completely being on finasteride we do recommend it in the practice as an oral formulation 1 milligram a day that's standard some people might drop down to a lower dose if they're having side effects or sometimes even a topical formulation we have all of those at feelc confident. to make sure you don't lose your hair due to my unfortunate sleep schedule I'm awake through most of the night and I sleep through a lot of the day which has evidently left me with eyebags this also means I hardly ever see the sun which has come with a multitude of problems the most obvious being an extremely pale complexion I'm guilty of that too I have to get as attractive as I possibly can in the next 30 days which means I'm going to need as much help as I can possibly get yeah I mean this whole looks Max ing uh you know movement I guess it's just uh geared towards getting people to look as attractive as they possibly can and um I think sometimes it should focus a little bit more on that inward Beauty rather than just the physical appearance because I think the two are very interconnected U so I'm not sure he's going to be getting into that at all here uh but we'll see but most likely it's just about his appearance which is just part of the equation in my opinion so I did the only thing I could think of and I reached out to my friend shami who just so happens to be famous on Tik Tok for looks Improvement shami was a g he got back to me super quick and he actually hooked me up with free access to his facial gains ebook I'm kind of in a unique position because I unfortunately only have 30 days so I'm just going to really extract the main meat and potatoes from this usually for any type of uh Improvement to your appearance um you definitely want to take time I mean there's this 30-day thing I'm not sure if this is just something for the YouTube video or whatever but um there's no reason to rush it you know a lot of the best gains are made slowly um you know by doing small changes rather than like some you know Mega big transformation in a short period of time I quickly compiled a list of things I would need and then proceeded to pay Jeff basos approximately $150 I ordered everything on a Friday so unfortunately I had to wait a little longer for shipping while I waited for my stuff to come I started tanning I cleaned up my diet those guys are at least working out that's for sure look at those muscles strong my calories to start losing body fat yeah the dieting plays a huge role in of course like how we're going to look right so healthier diet is going to clean up your skin it's going to you know trim your body um at least to a degree especially if you're just eating fewer calories and and the ride calories eating less sugar I mean I'm definitely guilty of having my Treats but I know it's not good for me I've lost nearly 10 lbs in just over a week which is honestly pretty concerning that's a lot of weight loss in a week you know I mean uh that's either he's really cting down on those calories or he's doing something else to promote um that faster metabolism so that is a lot of weight and remember when it comes to hair loss if you have rapid weight loss that's actually going to increase your chances of losing hair or entering what's called a telogen fluvium where you can get um you know more rapid hair loss so that's another reason to be on something like finasteride to prevent that loss and also if he's working out and let's assume he's taking some supplements some of those supplements um can have actually some testosterone related compounds that can again lead to more hair loss and even creatine there's at least anecdotal evidence to suggest that that too will cause hair to fall out quicker I see that in my own surgical hair practice it's pretty much guaranteed that you've lost muscle in my case however luckily I think most of that weight was probably just water weight like no kiding probably seven to eight pounds of it and you can already see the changes in his face from that additional weight loss the cheeks are a bit less puffy the submental region here in the neck is also less full just because my diet previously was so bad that I was holding on to so much water remember that weight loss is a pretty simple equation right it's just calories in versus calories out and we often forget that and we complicate it with all these different weight loss Solutions and um you know diets that that are out there or like now the OIC craze but the truth is that if you just eat less and exercise more you will lose weight I mean there is no other way for for it to go U so but people find it difficult to stay disciplined to eat less um to to exercise I mean that's not easy to do um in the busy lives that we lead and the bad news is that we're already two and a half weeks into this Challenge and I haven't even got to use the stuff that I ordered that's like halfway for him okay so everything is here right now I'm pretty eager to just open everything up and actually start looks maxing finally but before we do that we have officially reached the halfway point in this challenge I've heard that some people with this looks maxing thing they take a little hammer and they start to mash on the bones of the face to try to cause them to like grow a little bit of callus and get bigger and for the jawline to be more um defined so I wonder if he bought a little Mallet I don't know so let's take a look at these images here so he's 3 weeks out and to me I mean one of the things that I'm noticing is that he's a little closer to the camera at the three week Mark so you can see some of the features just appear a little bit bigger um but I'm definitely noticing that reduction of the fat in the midphase and you can see that there's a bit more definition to the jawline for sure and I'm not sure exactly what he's done here um but even the there's like less puffiness around his perioral area too and you can really see that submental reduction of fat is quite prominent my face appears a lot less bloated fat loss has made my jawline more pronounced and my skin is already a bit more clear but now that we have everything here for the remaining 2 and 1/2 weeks of this challenge here's exactly what I'm going to do as soon as I get out of bed I immediately start my day by taking my supplements I'm definitely going to be taking a multivitamin I guess you could just call that your generic all-encompassing Health vitamin so this is where things get a little more interesting this is beta kerene I'm going to be taking this uh for the purpose of just giving my skin a little more natural color just kind of think of it as a tan you can find a lot of this stuff inside carrots hence the name carotene and carrots should give you sufficient quantities of the beta carotene where you don't necessarily need additional supplementation but if you don't like carrots or um you eat very few of them or other foods that contain beta keratin then maybe supplementation could be useful and that goes for all types of supplementation and that includes something like biotin where usually we have enough of that in our diet where we don't need to take biotin supplementation um to increase that dosage even more there's usually enough floating around in our systems just from our diets and let's not forget finasteride that's right this is the man right here finasteride he he he knows what he's doing to try to prevent that further recession and I'm not sure I didn't see the bottle I'm not sure if you got it from feelc confident. comom or from somewhere else but he's doing the right thing by being on finasteride some people confuse finasteride with Minoxidil thinking that they're interchangeable and they say oh I don't like the side effect profile fin asterid so I'm going to try minoxidil but then they realize like wait a second it's not helping my hair continues to recede minoxidil is more of a stimulant for your hair but it will not get at the core underlying mechanism of most hair loss which is male pattern loss or androgenic alopecia and you need fasr to get at that core mechanism that's causing the hair loss in the first place it's a full-blown Pharm itical drug so it's a little bit difficult to get your hands on this however it's a DHT blocker DHT is the hormone responsible for hair loss so smart man this is just going to keep the hair on my head and possibly grow it back it doesn't do a lot for regrowing the hair but usually it helps the hair feel stronger and then we often couple it with oral minoxidil to help it look even Fuller I make sure to get 15 to 20 minutes of direct sunlight a day I try to get direct exposure that sunscreen that he's applying is extremely important if you're going to be out in the sun you need to use sunscreen and it's not that you're going to get more vitamin D from sun exposure when you're not using your sunscreen it's much more harmful to be out there and not use your sunscreen than to use your sunscreen properly to avoid things like skin cancer exposure from the Sun every day how long just kind of depends on what the UV rays are and being out there in the Sun and getting all that sunlight that also is good for your overall mood so he mentioned feeling a bit depressed earlier in the video and I'm sure this is good for his overall mood to be out there outside I mean that could be good for any of us following that I shower where I use a shampoo and conditioner that contain hair regrowth properties our shampoo and conditioner have four different DHT blockers in it as well as some anti-inflammatory properties and antioxidant properties as well so make sure to check that out and it feels nicer than the competition I also make sure to use only cold water on my head this improves blood circulation in the scalp after my shower I apply a moisturizer to my face and lips and you know what I'm going to say about the moisturizer so just go check it out also make sure to do a last minute check for any areas of the face that may need attention during the day whenever I get the chance I exercise my jaw with this product I bought off Amazon as far as those uh jaw exercising devices go you have to be careful Not to cause TMJ or Tempo mandibular joint arthritis so it's right here basically in front of your ear and some people will confuse uh ear pain for actual TMJ pain so it might give off the sensation of different types of ear pain but it's really the TMJ and when you're constantly exercising your jaw by chewing on something that can get more inflamed and you can have other types of problems so again too much of of a good thing can be a bad thing so keep that in mind for anyone looking to use those types of jaw exercisers obviously that is definitely hands down the best way I feel like you can accentuate your jawline look around I mean it's not a secret most of our food nowadays is super processed it's all very malleable super chewy and most guys are literally walking around with non-existent Master muscles I eat four to five very clean meals throughout the day that are not only healthy but I enjoy a good diet is one that meets nutritional requirements but isn't painstaking ly hard to abide by he's making some good points here you can't argue with that then typically take another shower or I'll just wash my face and then after that I'll begin my nightly routine so people wonder sometimes like how often should you be washing your hair for example and there's no like absolute you know perfect quantity of times or frequency there's no perfect frequency that you need to wash your hair out but you know it depends on exactly like how oily your hair is and some people think well if my hair is oily I probably shouldn't wash it too often but the truth is that you need to actually be washing it more because the oiliness can attract different types of yeast um like malesia and that can lead to cic dermatitis or that flakiness and the only way to improve that is to use different types of shampoos that might have some anti-inflammatory or anti-fungal properties but to try not to get there in the first place you want to keep that oil production down and usually that requires um you know more frequent washing than what most people like to do dermar rolling is the process of poking tiny holes in the scalp so micro needling can help with some overall blood flow to the area and there have been good studies to support its use we definitely recommend more of a stamping type of tool like he's using compared to the roller the roller can be more damaging to the skin and also to the hair itself and he's basically stamping around those fronto temporal areas where he's already receded and lost that hair now maybe it'll come back maybe it won't but you know I guess it's it's worth a try in an effort to restimulate inactive hair follicles After dermar Rolling I apply numerous essential oils to my head most of those oils don't have great data to support them but it's most likely that it's not going to hurt him so I think it's fine that he's trying to supplement with those essential oils I just put like four different oils on and uh when I was putting in the peppermint went on that one felt like the little tiny fire ants were so the peppermint of course is going to burn more after he's just finished you know derost stamping or dermo rolling or micro needling whatever you want to call it that's going to give you irritation to your skin and even if you use something like topical minoxidil or Rogan right after you're done with your micro needling that can also burn because of the alcohol content within that foam or solution or in this case is that peppermint type of oil biting my scalp beauty is pain I guess this is that purple toothpaste I'm sure you've seen all over Tik Tok if you haven't seen it you are definitely living under a rock this is my first time trying it so we're going to see if it does anything they say that you got to use it for at least a week to see results however the exception is that my teeth are completely Natty they've I've never used a Whitener nothing so we're going to see if it does something we're going to take my teeth's virginity because purple is the complimentary color of yellow this toothpaste Works in a way to conceal the yellow staining of the [Music] teeth looks better looks a little bit better there doing this it's just forced me to be a lot more critical about my appearance like specifically my face and I think for better or worse I mean it's good to be aware of certain facial features or certain things you might you know not love about yourself there's nothing wrong with being aware of that but if you let that um overtake your emotions and and you get too much in your head about that then that can surely affect your overall self-esteem and how you then interact with others and present yourself to the world which isn't usually ideal like just yesterday okay I woke up I looked in the mirror and I just immediately realized how bad my eyes looked just the dark circles you know the eye bags they're just something I've always had naturally and yeah you're not going to be able to see in this lighting but they are there trust me and it's just like okay ever since I started paying attention to my looks now all of a sudden any imperfection I have like has to be changed again you know you you you run the risk of going down this Rabbit Hole where you know you're not happy with any of your features because there's always something more that you can tweak there's always some imperfection that if you look close enough you can see it or someone else can point it out to you and trying to chase Perfection is you usually met with disappointment and so I think it's okay to try to make improvements but it's also important to just love yourself and know that no matter you know what happens no matter what kind of change occurs things are still fine and you're overall you know hopefully a good person that's treating others well and will hopefully get treated well in return and it's not just going to be dependent on the Perfection of your face ended up buying this tool off Amazon that supposedly helps with the under eyes basically I just wanted to say like I think it's great to work on yourself but you got to be careful not to let it develop into this Obsession yeah exactly that's what I was saying earlier you know it's a balancing act because it's good to acknowledge that hey certain things maybe aren't like great and I want to change them like for example you know I don't love the fact that I haven't been able to exercise as often as I think I should so I want to change that I want to work on that I want to you know get some muscle mass back but on the the flip side I'm not going to drive myself crazy you know um doing that stuff and I'm not going to like be self-deprecating about my own physique and create some sort of complexes in my mind and so that's that balancing act so I think it really could be like a toxic relationship you develop with yourself and when it comes to plastic surgery we talk about conditions like body dismorphic disorder where patients or people are not fully satisfied ever with how something appears and they keep chasing the next problem the next problem and so you can do great surgery for them you can really enhance their appearance and they're still unhappy they still want more if it comes to for example hair transplants you know you do a nice procedure they want more density do another procedure they're still unhappy they want more now they want it up here where they still have a ton of hair maybe it's not quite as thick as the original and they keep asking you to put more and more and more and that can be very unhealthy and at some point from the surgeon's perspective you have to kind of draw the line and say hey I'm not going to do any more surgery for you I think you know this is developing into some other complex and um I don't want to be a part of this and you know maybe they need to seek a different type of specialist to get that under control but um it is something that we need to be aware of as surgeons and that is something that exists in the Plastic Surgery realm but yes the ey tool did come today so we're gonna see if it works I'm dying to know what this eye tool is [Music] he's feeling strong he's aggravating that dog now unfortunately this is what my eyes typically look like in the morning I trustingly applied the serum from this device onto my face so I have no idea what serum this is that he's applying there are of course under eye serums that can help cover up some of that discoloration and sometimes those like larger blood vessels that can be seen there in the under eyee area but it's not going to necessarily make that completely better I mean a lot of us develop that hollowing and one of the reasons for the hollowing is that loss of volume in that area and the only way to completely you know improve it is to usually do like um an actual filler procedure or sometimes a lower blop plasty where you're taking the fat from the inside of the eyelid and transposing it over that tear trough but again that's surgery and that's not something that most people ought to get especially at a younger age actually insane [Music] results so to me it looks like in the after there's a lot more um bright light on his face and everything looks a little bit more shiny but I'm not convinced that that roller thing did really anything to improve the area today is the final day um I definitely feel a lot of pressure just to show you guys that yeah I did make this incredible drastic transfer before I take the final pictures I'm going to ice my face and then I'm also going to use this gacha what this will do is it's just going to debloat my face just kind of tighten everything up before I take these [Music] pictures the music is nice I definitely like this background music but yeah I mean I think everyone's seeing some of these improvements I think the under eye still looks Hollow like it does in my case but I think you know his jawline is definitely more streamlined he has less um overall facial fat and uh you know his skin is more glowy and all those things tend to contribute to more attractiveness Fant yeah you can really see that change in that submental region and some of that has to do with strengthening that mass muscle and kind of pulling everything back to a degree but also so with just that reduction of fat you get a tightening of that region as [Music] well but notice also it's a change in his overall attitude to me he just looks more optimistic he looks less kind of sad and uh you know I think that is important too you know it's how it's the energy that you exude it's also the music playing in the background it has like a a pop to it and everything is just more optimistic now and it's looking up for him not just based on the appearance but also how he acts if he was doing all those poses and acting you know really confident even in the before I think like you'd have a different impression of how he looks compared to like how he was showing it in this video at least so yeah that's what I achieved in just over a month I think my jawline is definitely more pronounced my skin cleared up a lot one of the biggest difference I think I noticed was my hair my hair just feels so much healthier thicker like it feels almost coarse like if that makes sense if you were to pet a horse um it just feels like a lot thicker but it in a good way of course it's definitely a little too early in the process to say that my hair is actually growing back but I think my hairline is a lot stronger um and not only that I've noticed some little baby hair is actually starting to sprout aside from that obviously the tan my complexion just looks a lot better A lot just healthier like I've actually seen the Sun for once um and I think the beta carotene that I was taking I've noticed my toes and my fingers are actually quite orange so maybe I'll dial it back on that but it's definitely helped my skin um some regrets or things that I wish I would have done differently I wish I would have had a proper skin routine because although my diet um was mainly responsible for clearing up my skin and it did in fact do a pretty good job and we have a video that's DED dedicated to a proper skin care routine and something that I practice myself so make sure to check out that video when you get a chance I think if I would have actually implemented a proper skin routine I would have seen a lot better results I mean I can't really explain to you guys how much more confident I feel just in my own skin the whole purpose of getting these different beautification procedures or doing these little smaller steps like he did um like Dylan did in in in his situation is to feel more confident right and that's exactly what he said and that's exactly why we named our brand what we did because that is the whole purpose and sometimes you need to change your routine a bit or for some people get a procedure to help you boost into that next you know level that next Echelon of confidence so that you're feeling your best and looking your best
