ILLEGAL FREEDOM: Train Surfing Journey To The Black Sea

once again I am in Kiev right this some I decided to do a little trade sir the goal is to get the give to a desk I'm not sure how long that's gonna take I am not sure about difficult it's gonna be I do not know the language very high chance that I will not be able to just take the train and just go there like that actually pretty [Music] like I said I do not know the language I know how to read apart from that I know how to say very fluently that I do not speak the but I got to do now go into the store gonna get all the essentials [ __ ] and then to the train station [Music] [Music] [Music] is get to the station wait for the train I don't know when the [ __ ] that is going to come and hit start a bit late I needed to wait until the store opens now I'm ready it seems pretty good I did see one shorts rate so I'm not sure how far it would have gone all right so I'm going to get down there check it out against [ __ ] something is coming but it's gone very fast there are some bigger connections like this but I am not sure when this will leave so right now I'm kind of in the middle of the station the main issue is that under the bridge where I've started is the best place to wait workers do walk back and forth through that area in the middle of the station it's kind of like neutral the issue here is gaps between wagons are going to leaving exposes that run through to the traineeship ball for today would you two leave this [ __ ] City well maybe to that side a big dome to that side a bit passing time until the train comes and then [ __ ] hopefully jumping on to the one that leaves the damn city and now it just goes to another station the way to game basically train surfing [Applause] I see a tranq gun man just back whack-ass [ __ ] there's a worker there and there's a horror that hopefully you won't see me hopefully this train is not gonna detach here somebody's [ __ ] with the brakes this track they're a little hard we just [ __ ] drove by it's like with the bike is behind me alright so I can't wait to really damn trainers just sorting a locomotive too hot to jump on [ __ ] something now the main issue is right now it's around 12 Sun is gonna start setting in about 3 hours it's gonna be dark before if I wait one more over here and then go it's good I don't mind surfing when it start but the point is I don't want to hop on the train when it's done hop on the train the next hour get off when it's still tiny bit bright try to look for a nice place to set up a camp sweep the night continue surfing now should not jump off at random stations I should only jump off at bigger stations because if I jump off at some random station when it rains just letting another train pass and kind of [ __ ] there's also a chance that this train is now gonna go towards at us down there is a chance that it's gonna go like funky north towards belorus or East where it's polling the goal for today is to leave the city hopefully I'll be able to achieve that in the next hour maybe this train is going to be like moved I don't know skipped a lot of details in my intro like basically going towards the Black Sea taking the highway I think it's about 500 kilometers I don't know how much it is taking the train tracks maybe it's a couple hundred kilometers more up to a thousand kilometers basically she's got a way for the Train and that's basically I think the row of wagons that is closest to me right here it's gonna leave now there's a locomotive there at the front of it and if it connects to them now it's obvious was gonna move done didn't happen so these are going to leave so I'm gonna wait a bit till the locomotive starts for having try to get the ones in the back 12:51 since I'm anticipating the Train so very very soon we gonna move further back [Music] I'm gonna be dirtiest it because it's winter okay she's got a way to cross the bridge and I'm good okay train it's really [ __ ] slowing down I don't know why maybe it's going through a passage let's see where the [ __ ] we're going yeah I'm going nor maybe it's gonna turn and go down but I have no clothes she's got to wait until it leaves the city if it does passing another station and that goes to turn towards the left head a bit more into Center now hopefully these fronts are going to lead out of the city so right now it's gonna be the fridge with security this is like it [Music] so there's another bigger station coming through so once it touches this station it's gonna go out of the city through the east side right now I'm kind of in the middle of the city there's nothing a little emotive there I sit down [Music] thanks to the locomotive attached to the back of this which is interesting I don't think there's there's gonna be another patient this area we should be approaching another hopefully it's not gonna like turn back [Music] hopefully it's just going to let another one pass so what I think is happening is that a locomotive is detached all right slowly exiting the city we've got to get past the bridge should be okay there's the fridge yeah boy the [ __ ] book emotive detached [ __ ] yeah and that's get baby and left the city the first station out here the city it doesn't seem that big but the train is slowing down the front of the fridge is over as a middle of the station all right yeah it stopped well hopefully just let something pass the trend that Hamlin must be the most polite trained in all of the goddamn district of Ukraine it's stopping an average station Rosenberger let's go all that takes nothing can keep waiting fun where [ __ around one then about two hours right now it's 15 30 15:38 waited for about a half an hour okay all right we have us two small stations this station that is coming up gonna be the first nation with the split we did before we are now approaching the first organ I rode hopefully nice now I got a big one struts for the mix fish is gonna be the longest Betty so it's gonna be dark in a half an hour haven't got that far from the first station still have a long [ __ ] way to go come on you [ __ ] increase their stupid speed well we're still going yes way to go baby to the second big station I would say 20 minutes this [Music] 10 minutes away from [Music] very attentively big station right now we're seemingly on the right side but it can always turn to the left it is turning to the left side I think I'm gonna have to hop out and they're more juice with flashlights right so I don't know this place go get out of the city towards more forest and set up a camp take it try to go up this war to the [Music] this is the passenger train station I assume trains that go that way would go past the passenger station I come to the very tip that is a let's set that is the right side I wanted my train to come from there and continue going here train turned towards that side I assume from both sides a train can come to there there is a bridge so there is a cargo train gone from that side the left side towards the side I need could get it right now but just feeling exhausted hungry and I want to set up camp the best side to wait a bit further up there there's bridge you probably don't see it I can't wait somewhere there or somewhere under this bridge on this bridge at the very edge of the passenger train station closest pasture trees are these next to this field and there is like a road here I think I'm gonna go to this field and find some trees in the middle of it and I'm pretty damn sure nobody should bother me because who the [ __ ] just walks in the middle of a field because there is now really any other nice big patches and trees except for that decide decided to go through this smaller patch of trees outside of the town I'm gonna walk for about 30 minutes or some [ __ ] eventually when I get to it hopefully it's a bit outside of the idea the local people we're pretty sure since this is like a smaller town he's gonna publish all right i'm currently outside of the talents so I'm talking I'm tired you're gonna walk a bit forward gonna try to get to the pageant freeze I saw through a Google Maps set up shop there and it's so cool it middle of nowhere in a foreign country the language which I don't you know we're gonna go a bit more forward and update you from there my shortcut is through a cemetery now through Google Maps this look like it very crowded square small buildings but you know this makes more sense these frozen fields are edge to walk through there so up and down just a bit more first let me check this small patch of trees sorry humming footsteps from today there's definitely room in activity here of course oh yeah this is good this is good think I'm gonna set up somewhere here all right search for a nice sweet spot and set up camp okay some upgraded [ __ ] for the winter what a guy going on here what it is is basically an under quilt in an over clothes combined then I have my standard hammock and then I have a minus seven degree comfort most likely sleeping bag I will have my thermal underwear over where all that [ __ ] on to have a warm meal before I go to bed and that's basically it I'm gonna do right now stretch things that need to be stretched afterwards start making some food by the way right now it is twenty thirty one right I'm continue work couscous with me and then this is gonna be my dessert some oatmeal with chocolate but you see how [ __ ] shiny my fingers like if I take this [ __ ] off such a dramatic line I've been warming up my chocolates a bit to not make it like a soup I assume this much yeah I think this is gonna be okay this is going to be I forgot the name of these things eating dessert first is the best gonna be a [ __ ] to clean this but now the thing is in these conditions everything that's called real quick I was about 500 milliliters water that's someone I'm going these adventures I should really bring the thermos or some [ __ ] hot water around you go they're so good but I didn't bring a thermos this time because I just did not want to have any extra like 2 liters of water was also feeling like too much because my backpack weighed without the water about 10 kilos so that is like plenty of weight for a trip all right finish feed him and talk to you when I'm going to bed so I am inside this is basically how the system works tarp cocoon thing sleeping bag me with a bunch of layers if you noticed there was a big bulge at the very end of the hammock it's because I literally put my backpack with my shoes inside there is gonna keep my shoes not freezing I feel protected against the wind and hopefully how my foot and should it start also not frozen haven't tested this before so hopefully works well so hopefully I won't have to piss 21:36 perfectly I would wake up at 7 a.m. or something most likely I wake up at like 3 or 2 or some [ __ ] hopefully not because of cold well we'll see you know try to sleep now good morning I've heard that for the past couple of hours it's been snowing tarp did protect me pretty damn well my cocoon things still got snow on it white resistance so I'm not feeling any it is 735 right now I've been hearing trains go all night I didn't sleep that well probably slept for like two three hours I do feel someone rested okay you gotta get out start cooking food and start going yeah we're really snowed I checked the weather by the way yesterday night was around like -4 something like that sleeping arrangements that I had we're really good because I was warmer than I was with my summer sleeping arrangements but I couldn't sleep because I like the comfort that also gave me wake sometimes when I heard like strange noises and [ __ ] most of the time I was just [ __ ] today's looking to be a very brainy slash snowy day I'm gonna try to wrap everything up pack up leave within an hour hopefully jump on a train before it starts snowing or raining in the middle of the day just be around zero and rain should come this gap right now from like around 8 to 11 I assume is the best for getting on her train okay I'm gonna try to pack up the menu for this morning chicken soup and some spaghetti baby should be enough for the morning that's nice everything seems so different in daylight before I actually go to the station I'm gonna stop at a store I need to buy some water some wet wipes for my hands and [ __ ] that's gonna drizzle I'm switching sides of the station because the side it was on trains were going too fast and if I want to catch them I gotta go to the place and go right now for school maybe it's gonna be riskier I don't know Oh mr. side I drove from from somewhere there beside I need to go we're gonna try to wait here hopefully those workers were there will not notice me nothing there I'm going more to the front to the tip again I'm gonna pay attention to the traffic lights and going to find a better spot to catch it at the very end of station you want to be a bit risky but right now I'm [ __ ] getting pulled in [ __ ] alright I'm here I can see everything coming probably will be able to jump on anything that goes bit slower it is 11:30 right now at this time yesterday I was in the station in Kiel [ __ ] I'm away it just sucks that I have to like waste half a day maybe next time is gonna be smoother but got no choice right now so just gonna leave [Music] 12:48 right now we're waiting here like like three hours over some [ __ ] I'm getting cold as [ __ ] I'm probably gonna boil some water because I don't want to get sick it's very hard to like me maintain heat because the more the next day but I'm [ __ ] getting out of this goddamn train station I do not want to sleep in this [ __ ] the goal for today would be to go to another station with this like intersection thing get off of that station sleep somewhere around there and then on the next day get to the [ __ ] Odessa that's gonna be the longest stretch but I think I can knock it out in one day if I get on the right train of course all right i'ma wait till it boils thick chicken soup I don't know what the [ __ ] that means thick chicken soup is so much better just got exhausted by the same scenery walking through the town feels better than just sitting in the goddamn spa looking at the railroad there's always like beeps switches and like whatever is the point us nothing that suits me right now it is it is - literally not a place to hide here if I get on to this wagon and I run to the next station it's about four to five hours if it doesn't stop it's probably three to look everything is what can't really sit it's gonna be windy as [ __ ] is terrible the best I can do is go somewhere in there it's ridiculous this is a [ __ ] L go I'm gonna go back to the front of the station him wait Maragos and to top it off you know even if I would have decided to actually I'll have a go at torturing myself for even more well you know it's just not my day there is no locomotive Detroit is not even going anywhere crap tackle this baby all right [Music] okay it's for now I'm gonna make some soup again because I'm getting [ __ ] cold as [ __ ] walking around here this is like a nice calm place I'm gonna cook something here but after I drink the tea I'm going to try to add a bit more that way this side of the station where the trains that come from that side this side to go towards this side maybe they're gonna go slower there because that rail through the left side nothing is coming so I'm gonna go there and just wait again trained the wagons were [ __ ] terrible for surfing at this climate is now living and it's given me such a [ __ ] anxiety feeling like I should be on it but I know if I jump it for the first like half an hour I'll be good then it's going to be really cold and really [ __ ] connection that is most likely going to leave and that is the one I'm gonna try to jump on the darkness really gives me a lot more no variability here oh there's a bunker I think I'm gonna go back a bit plenty of good wagons because I can't really hang around here I am excited about again it has locomotives in the front this is going to leave the station tours the way I want I'm gonna wait half an hour after that I'm gonna get called and is gonna go out and try to warm myself up but I hope this leaves the station soon and goes in direction I knew right now it is five [Music] [Music] I think of the station that to everybody get a train from tomorrow about an hour walk from here it is going to be a closer walk tomorrow to get to the station and yeah along the way I should kind of [ __ ] we've already [ __ ] about I'm that blue dot aiming for this patch of trees right here it's in the middle of the field should be less [ __ ] gonna go past the DEM Park and now get right hopefully onto the stupid field oh by the way through Google Maps everything looks so flat [ __ ] no it's all up and down as you can see first patch of trees already suit there and there's no road just walking across this [ __ ] field not as frozen as in the previous place this morning my feet non-slip as much but still sucks bro after three hours of sleep and a whole day on my feet quite the desert things I do for safety baby I'm near some [ __ ] tree area well I assume this is like the very end of the park area maybe some kind of a race indicator thing definitely people even walked here today some fresh prints I think I'm gonna go a bit off so other people walk try to set up somewhere there whoo baby my stomach is burning a [ __ ] across in the field the path is right next to the spots that I want to set up and if I hear any people in the night I'm gonna be paranoid [ __ ] I'm [ __ ] crossing this field going to hopefully a less walked hatchet race I also realize that steel toed boots we're not the best hiking boots for working environments but covering large distances on uneven terrain really [ __ ] up the toes and if this is a park these people have a weird yeah are you sure no this looks kind of perfect this thing goes in the back is like a factory think mostly pipes all right I'm fine a spot so right now it is 22:38 it took me a bit less than an hour disturbed made everything a bit more up and the tarp a bit more doubts no the rains again I'm even more protected not sure who the [ __ ] looks there but quite away from the walking people the humming noise of the machines was actually gonna be nice it's like gonna make me less focus on although there are millions of small noises all that's left now is make food and I'll make some rice and some grain flour gran wanna blah blah that just start today firstly I hope I can actually leave this damn station before the [ __ ] Sun Goes Down god damn it was terrible and I cannot be making like two hours of progress every secondly I hope I can actually reach or Desa and eventually the Black Sea by the evening if I can jump in around eleven twelve technically it's gonna take what nine ten hours everything is melting it's like positive degrees outside which is a bit annoying because I'm gonna have to cross a [ __ ] field the field is just like barge it's so hard to speak so actually yesterday shelter here going to take a different way around seems more straight so I already heard a train going that would that would be the train that I want there going just not sure how often because I only heard one friend like this fog is something though it gives everything like this weird a Silent Hill a sadness fear I'm basically in the town right now just at the very edge of it I'm gonna find a store buy some more water head to the station one of my power banks is dead and the other one has 50% loved so I'm really hoping that today I can actually charge it somewhere in [ __ ] on dustman I'm hoping but my step at a time where is going to get on a train [Music] [Music] this is quite a bigger station than I anticipated this is like the passenger side reach out locomotive so it's not vote anymore I'm going to try to go more to the back more where they sort and try to find a connection with this damn place [Music] I actually almost jumped on that one because some of the wagons have this like mini box you can go in but by the time I decided that the wagons with the box passed and the one I hoped would have did it yeah I feel like this area in general is kind of the best to wait around so I'm going to try to not for us it's fishing like I'm doing now and chill a bit maybe walk a bit back maybe welcome to forward but yeah some around here would be cool to see how long it is all right [ __ ] it I'm taking this there are actually workers on the watchtower this is just gonna be lucky if I actually make it out to be passing the station out and they should have eyes on think I smell one - somewhere find one that is hope it doesn't stop I can try to get across these rocks towards the cylinders that's going to take a while but [ __ ] it at least I'm going to be warm it's nice enough I gonna stop a mattress which it's not gonna stop I'm halfway towards the halfway trick with this station there are actual like wagon scanner this little thing it's a frame which has a bunch of lights and cameras so when a wagon passes through somebody's looking at it love about you know the deal but I'm gonna try to do hide somewhere before if the trench slows down enough I'm a hop out before the scanner walked to the end of the station trying to catch a train from there for now I got about maybe an hour until the scanner so so the Trina has been standing in this Ferengi station before the Check Point station for like a half an hour now you think I'm decided to switch wagons because I you try to get the loins from the back through the bushes so that's the driver wouldn't see me through the cabin window well there are a couple more in the end these look like the final once all right I'm gonna go a bit further I'm gonna try to get into the first of these three last ones maybe walk around on those things also you know be cool it wouldn't be very easy for them to like recognize these see-through cameras by [ __ ] risk all right I'm gonna try to stay in these [Music] all right approaching the station with the first row of sort of frames with cameras one of these has like cameras and [ __ ] maybe all of them I don't know point is I hope it just [ __ ] goes through this station without stopping and just goes to this one and in this one I'm thinking maybe I'm a hall Ballack because I'm feeling cold as [ __ ] and tired as [ __ ] many watch started I just got away yeah yeah my stopped I don't know it's not in this canal alright I'll walk towards the center of this town I guess batteries running out too I feel so damn tired I'm hungry getting cold too [Music] [Music] I would see 70% of the way my battery's running low I have half a power bank left which is about 5,000 milliamps so I can have another on the GoPro batteries charged Foods running out also not water so I can spend one night out of here maps but I don't want to [ __ ] stay in this town less it's not even light I'm either gonna go to the front of the station and try to catch a train to the bigger town a bit further the one I initially intended to like stay for the night if I not one two continues wards Odessa we're now got to get to the front and see I looked into station should have those like scanner things but I'm not sure where that seemed like in the front back was in that maybe right all right so peaceful out here well I don't see any securities and things don't hear any trains move in also it kind of sucks it's not that far until next town with the freight train maybe like I don't know one hour maybe less I'll try to ask when there's a passenger train coming there's not gonna be any rights going through here from here I'm [ __ ] kind of stuck and don't want to be stuck here all right so I bought a train tickets to the next town the bigger town it's going to leave 1830 I was cold I'm not cold anymore like God if the freight comes from that direction or station further I will see because it has to pass through here Cato baby then I got like 20 foot it is charge the batteries I don't know how many percentage charge phone is 60% food I can always buy food at the stores but that means I have to buy food for that particular moment that I'm gonna eat it I cannot carry the big food that I need all the time of a backpack because there's not enough space only help one big you know quick meal ready all the rest is just basically snacks this is the crazy rain compared to all my last leaping spots because Marvin goes up and down so much I came from that direction I'm a I will show you the station yeah but now good shot I think is Georgia in origin it spicy bit doesn't get easier Fields baby so my station is somewhere there that's where I'm gonna hug does it look nice though so yesterday this was the spot it just like chilled with the moon there being in the town there that's trash pile I started walking down from it's pretty nice there's more mystique with the moon of course but okay this station is basically there and [Music] [Music] all right so here is the station passengers and train them about to come most likely heading to that direction there seems to be some trimco camera at that direction check none of these have any locomotives [ __ ] that was a long way to walk I see like heart rates further but I don't [ __ ] know I might just go back and wait in like the middle of the station [Music] stupid pictures heaven I was walking through the station to the very end of it I started from the passenger of the stage non-existent didn't see any like security in blue wall Canara and I saw some like random people with random like uniforms walking so I'm like you know I [ __ ] I'm just walk throw a couple of workers walked by nobody said [ __ ] I walked past these three guys looked at me a bit and then looked away everything was cool so I walked at the very end of the station I checked for locomotives nothing's there force good thing nothing was there because if I would have jumped in what if it [ __ ] because as I left the station through the back and went around the corner to the Main Street the same three guys that I went past running after me and I don't even notice until they were like right in front of me it like I didn't think that they were security dude we're both like texting to each other through Google Translate and these two other guys we're just staring the [ __ ] down right now it is I'm waitin till like 12:00 or 1:00 if nothing comes in buying or goddamn passenger ticket because I'm [ __ ] tired of [ __ ] it's not that terribly far I did most of the trade surf already since it's Saturday it's not a lot of trains are gonna come [ __ ] it I'm gonna buy the passenger ticket that was a lot of talking all right so it's around 12 now the only train is going into that direction is this green piece of [ __ ] like a car throw a knife at a small town and [ __ ] stop because trains tour that's even passenger ones go like twice a day in the first half of the day on the weekends nothing to take a [ __ ] passenger for like I think for the last three hours so I'm in the station the train is gonna come in ten minutes I went to two and I got [ __ ] locked in these traits are coming [Music] so I'm gonna stand here for like two and a half hours arguably not better than Fortran but I kind of bribed myself that even with not speaking this language I managed to like I was like can I stand here with induct reader was like then he came to me I was like so I gave him a hundred he didn't tell me that that's terrible almost don't you want to have poppers the only thing I like
