IKEA SHOP WITH ME WINTER 2021 | NEW CHRISTMAS DECOR

hey everyone welcome back to my channel my name is kristen and today i'm taking you along to ikea so we can check out what's new in stores for winter 2021. if you're looking for affordable holiday decor now is the time to go to ikea they've just released their entire vinter 2021 collection so there's gonna be a lot to see today they also have new furniture coming out new decor pieces organizations so we're gonna be checking out all the new pieces so if you enjoy watching and find this video helpful make sure you give it a big thumbs up and hit that like button and let's go ahead and head to ikea now the christmas holiday collection is all downstairs pretty much right at the end of the store but we're headed up to the showroom so we can check out all the pieces styled in place see what's trending and get some new decor ideas ikea always styles their showroom using really fun diy projects here's a very simple one you can do to style your books if you have bright colored books you can just easily wrap the cover in a white piece of paper and it helps neutralize them and they really stand out nicely against your wall color this is an area where you can get a glimpse of what's really trending in design and right now green is the color of the season you'll see it all over the store in different furniture pieces wall colors decor you'll see it everywhere so if you're looking for some design ideas definitely check out the showroom take a stroll around it is so much fun these window string lights are so cute they're outdoor star string lights that you can hang from your window so that they just glow inside and outside of your home it's such a fun touch you can do for the holidays i spotted the first christmas tree styled in here usually throughout the season they're going to be adding more christmas trees and showing you really unique ways to decorate them they use these nice dried florals that i used in the fall to decorate the christmas tree now moving into the sofa section i just spotted a brand new piece this sofa comes in a love seat size and a full-size sofa behind it there it's very classic a great shape it's not the most comfortable sofa i've ever sat on but it is a really great price i would recommend probably switching out the legs on this sofa maybe doing your own slip cover they do have different companies that can help you customize your ikea sofa so if you have something that looks a little plain and ordinary you can jazz it up with already made slip covers from companies like bems bems provides slip covers specifically for ikea furniture so you can get that more affordable sofa but make it look a little bit more high-end and custom using their covers this is one of my favorite ikea sofas the far love it looks just like the pottery barn sofa you can switch the style of the skirt change the fabric option and it just really takes your ikea sofa to the next level oh i just spotted another new piece this is a great on trend material this is a little armrest tray to go over your sofa to act kind of as a little side table i think it's a great space saving piece and it comes in two different colors so they have the natural wood or the black and it's 14.99 i feel like this would be something great to use if you wanted to even wrap a surface maybe diy something the wood slats are such an on tread look see we're getting little glimpses around the store of little pieces from the winter 2021 collection but again the big setup will be downstairs right at the end so stay tuned for that for now we're seeing all the little pieces styled in place oh lots of new furniture coming out here's an accent chair a little side chair that's a great size perfect for kind of styling around your living room it comes in different colors and 199 is a great price for a chair like this oh now this sofa doesn't have a new tag on it but i know it's brand new here this is gorgeous it's a little mid-century a little traditional it's kind of all the things i would probably recommend switching out the legs again to really make it look a lot more high-end but that's a comfortable sofa i did a little sit test on that they also have it in a very similar armchair style this nice swooped arm also comes in velvet this green velvet is amazing very beautiful love the color love the texture and it's a comfortable deep seat i love the little ottoman that can come with it as well i would just probably pick up the ottoman on its own to add that pop of green around your home for the season i think it's gorgeous they have this whole area styled around here with the tiny christmas trees and plant pots i love grabbing a ton of these tiny christmas trees to decorate all the rooms around my home they are a great price here at ikea you may be familiar with the best storage cabinet system this is their new door style it's like a beige marble but the besta system comes like this completely plain and you can customize it however you'd like so they also have another new door finish which is another one of my favorites very on trend the wood slat textured look you can get this in this natural wood and you can also get it in dark walnut so they're definitely keeping up with all the design trends and offering all of these solutions to really customize your existing pieces let me know down below in the comments if you have a besta storage piece in your home if you do you can easily just switch the doors of them to really create a brand new look wow i really did not expect to see this many new furniture pieces but here's another one it's a large sideboard that's a great size super long it has two drawers two cabinets and it's in this nice white washed finish it'd be perfect for a dining room a hallway or anywhere where you need some stylish storage you guys know i love a good round table those two were brought out last season and here is their new round table for this season and it's actually an extendable round table so it extends out into an oval to fit six people for just 229 that is such an unbeatable price for a dining room table i love the dark finish it's a timeless look and the heavier legs are very on trend right now i just love this little holiday room setup and the wall color is beautiful it's that nice dusty rose i like how you can see all the little table settings in place see new pieces styled in a room this is one of their new slipcovers it's going after that kind of restoration pottery barn look and it's a great price so the chair and slipcover is altogether it's taking that 31 chair that they already have and elevating it with this nice slip cover if you have that existing chair and you want to spice up your space for the holidays definitely consider a nice little slipcover it will take your space to the next level ikea's holiday collection also covers wrapping paper so i usually grab a few rolls while i'm here to wrap presents for christmas i love this little setup their staging around here is just so cute just had to point out this product again because it's one of my favorite things at ikea this is a milk frother for 1.99 it's battery powered and it works instantly ikea has also got into gaming recently so this is their new gaming section it's in the office desk area of ikea i love that they have a gaming chair in white that just really grabs my attention they're good prices they have all the neon lights that you could want here to wrap around your desk and all the little accessories so they have little headphone holders more neon lights they even have cup holders to attach to your desk they have all these cool accessories so if you're looking for an affordable gaming setup for anyone you know here is a place that you can start i just love going in and out of all of the rooms here at ikea i just feel like i'm in a life-sized dollhouse you can see all of the pieces in place get a feel for them this day bed is actually probably one of my favorite things that they have at ikea i think it is just genius it's a single bed you can style it as a sofa and then you can roll it out to be i'm pretty sure a king-size bed so it's pretty incredible they also have storage underneath and i think this is probably the best multi-purpose piece that you can get here every time i'm here at ikea i tell you guys do not skip by the kids section because sometimes you can find the best pieces here is the coolest little closet system for kids but i don't think it just needs to be for kids this could be such a cool front entryway piece for 240 to store everything you need imagine gloves and hats and shoes and hanging space for jackets it's perfect they have two of them put together here but i think it would be great with a mirror on top and you can use it as your front closet they also have the kids handles on there but you can swap those out for something a little fancier looking and really update the piece to fit your space now headed downstairs to the marketplace if you're new to ikea this is where you can actually take things off the shelves purchase them and shop all of the small products so first we're headed into the kitchen section i always find a ton of things that are super useful for my kitchen in here i just spotted this new piece it's a baking mold i've never seen it before i'm assuming it's for a pie crust but let me know if you know exactly what this is for i just found this new bell wreath i think it'd be perfect for a front door i love this idea of using gold picture frames as name cards for the table setting that just looks so fancy and it's such an easy thing to do oh oh this is their new piece from their new cleaning line called pep rig for twenty dollars you can get pretty much every cleaning tool that you need all in one they have a duster a mop a broom scrubbing pads hooks all in one so i think this is such a great piece all for 19.99 of course i always stop in the basket section i think baskets are the perfect way to decorate your home warm it up add that texture but also keep it really organized i just saw these woven magazine holders they not only keep things organized but they add that kind of design element to your organization as well so i don't even use them for magazines i've organized pretty much everything else with them they are such a great space-saving solution into the lighting section i'm always scoping out the scene here to see if there's any new light fixtures i find ikea a really great place to find light fixtures at a great price first we're seeing some more christmas setups i love these paper christmas trees but i do think we could probably make those ourselves and try and diy them i think they would be so pretty in every single color i did find a new light fixture and it's this plug-in wall sconce a woven plug-in wall sconce with a little string that makes it go on and off i think this is a perfect alternative to a bedside lamp so i'm grabbing two of those now we're headed straight to the winter 2021 collection if you wanted to skip over the entire store you can just head right to the end of ikea and you'll find all of the christmas stuff wow there is a lot to go through here let's start with the christmas trees if you're looking for an affordable christmas tree this is probably the one for you it's 129 this is their most expensive christmas tree it's the most full out of all the options and it's six feet tall they also have this smaller one it's more sparse but it's only 35 such a great price if you want to decorate multiple trees around your home and then they have a size down that's even more sparse even shorter and it goes for 20 dollars i think these sparse christmas trees really give off that nordic scandinavian very minimalistic look last year i bought a ton of my christmas ornaments from ikea because the color selection is so great they have all red all silver gold blue green they have pretty much everything i even found these really cute ornaments that are all animal shaped if you have children or you want to have that whimsical look those are super cute so these packs of 20 are 14 they have the traditional color palette the mix of red and green i love that look i used these blue ones last year and then they also have the gold white and silver so they have a great selection let me know down below what color scheme you usually go after for christmas is it traditional is it untraditional what's your color scheme this year i love switching up my pillow covers through the holidays so i'm gonna be grabbing two of these super cozy white pillow covers they're 12.99 they're velvet on one side and this soft cozy material on the other i think they're perfect for making your home feel warm and cozy for the winter they just have everything here to fill up your home for christmas and make it feel like a winter wonderland i love these straw reindeer they would be so cute at the front door or even styled under a christmas tree they have little cute snow globes and this little i don't know what you would call it a little dollhouse like elf setup it makes it look like someone's living through your wall i love it if you have miniature trees around your home to decorate they also have miniature ornaments so they have this kind of medium size then they have the even smaller size and they have them in every single color they come in a pack of 25 for 9.99 this section here is kind of their specialty ornament so these are really cute these little felt pine cones i think that would be so cute on a christmas tree i love the gold snowflakes they also have this simple wood that's very scandinavian looking if you're going for that minimalistic style treat you can find some really great things here i love checking out all the wrapping paper as well i'm really big into getting fun wrapping paper and making everything under the tree look really pretty as well they have these cute little gift bag sets they have beautiful boxes already made i even love this burlap sack it's 5.99 and i think it's a great way to transport gifts if you're going to different homes for the holidays and bringing gifts you can stick them all in that christmas bag and take it to go they have these little sets of wrapping paper that come with three different rolls for 129. that is such a great price they have them in the red the green and then they also have the individual rolls there's always new wreaths for the season changes and now they have all of their holiday wreaths out i love the eucalyptus wreath they also have this really fun ornament one and they have this simple scandinavian look for 7.99 those small dainty wreaths are perfect for hanging in your window and decorating that way oh this is very pretty eucalyptus garland i think it would look so beautiful laid down on your dining room table or even wrapped around your existing garland to make it a little bit more full there's so much you can do with eucalyptus for the holidays i picked up some of these christmas trees last year but this year i'm picking up two of these pre-lit mini christmas trees i love that you can just press a button and the light goes on and that just adds something special they have a huge selection of small christmas trees they have these mini christmas trees for four dollars that you could just put in different pots and style that way i love these winter stems and these tiny trees they would look great inside or outside and just putting them in a larger pot would make all the difference if you're looking to add something fun to your decor i love these light up decorative pieces i used the presents last year underneath the tree you plug them in with your christmas lights and it just makes the entire space glow now if you're looking to decorate for the holidays in a more simple way you can decorate with poinsettias all over your home you can layer them into your shelf decor your table decor and they just look so classic and pretty i found a lot today here at ikea but last place we're checking out is the adds is section where you can find markdown furniture this bed is currently sold out almost everywhere and i found it here in the as is section so if you've been looking for something in particular or you're looking for even more of a deal on furniture check out the as-is section there's always some really great finds in there i think i just spent four and a half hours at ikea so we've pretty much seen every single new piece at the store i can't even believe how big their winter collection is they have amazing new holiday decor so many different christmas trees i love it that just made me so excited to start decorating for the holidays this year i grabbed
