Ikea Pax Wardrobe System | Closet Tour + Organization 2021

hi friends welcome back to my channel if you're new around here i would love for you to join us and subscribe [Music] in today's video i'm going to be sharing the ikea pet system closet which i actually purchased back when we first closed on our house as soon as i saw this room i knew i would want it to be my walk-in closet and it took quite some time for all the pieces to be in stock and get delivered but as soon as they were we put it together and i had quite some time to figure out how i wanted to style it and i think i finally figured out a system that works for me so in today's video i'm gonna be sharing how to organize it and everything that i got so without further ado let's get right into it before we start organizing i wanted to give you a quick overview of the empty closet the only thing that's not empty are these drawers here in the middle since i started using them as soon as we built this whole thing but i wanted you to have a closer look at the layout in case you're thinking of purchasing the pad system but have no idea what direction to go in what i ended up doing was making the two middle columns exactly the same and then the two on the right are exactly like the two on the left i wanted it to match some sort of way so not everything looked out of place and messy and then i do have shelves going all the way through on the top and as we get to organized you'll get to see exactly what i added to each individual column so let's get started [Music] [Music] [Music] is [Music] [Music] is i know my body never knows [Music] i know [Music] [Music] is [Music] is [Music] before we get started and i show you a closer look of everything i wanted to quickly give you an overview of the closet now that everything is on there i try to color coordinate every single column and i am so happy with how it turned out this is truly my dream closet so let's get started alright so starting off with the right column i have two boxes up there from bags i've purchased just for decor and display and then all of my browns are on here i started off with the darkest shade to the lightest shade it was kind of hard because i do have a ton of patterns as you can tell i'm really into leopard print these days and then as you continue to go down i have all of my jeans i just got rid of a ton that i no longer use and this is what i was left with so i still have a couple spaces to fail if i purchase any new ones and then down at the bottom i have all of my favorite winter boots which i'm not going to use anytime soon but i just think they're super pretty and i wanted to display some of them i also really like how deep these shelves are because you're able to do two rows of shoes but this is all that it's on the right column this is the next column and again i added two boxes up there and then i had enough space to add a hat i have a ton of hats so i had to get smart about the way i wanted to display them and then i went ahead and added all of my whites in here i did it try to go from the sleeve length so longest to shortest and then i really like how they turned out as you can tell i have a ton of white tops and then right beneath that i went with the blues and a little bit of yellow i only have like two yellow sweaters and then some jean jackets and some blue sweaters some tie-dye in there and then at the bottom again i did two rows of shoes you can't really see the back so i try to do shoes that i don't grab or use it during the season and then i put some of my favorite sandals and it meals at the very front on this top shelf i have two hats and then this is where the layout starts to change like i said the two middle columns are exactly the same and i love them because they have this clear shelf where i can display different things and i just think it's so pretty so on this one i went with two hat stands and then i added some of my favorite hats and then in the middle i have this cute earring organizer which i've had for years and i absolutely love it and then on the side i have this cute little mirror which is also from amazon i love having this here because when i'm putting on my necklaces it helps me see if i want to layer them or not and i don't have to walk to a bigger mirror and then the next little thing are some jewelry inserts which are also from ikea this is what took the longest they were always out of stock i feel like they're super popular so it was really hard to find them in stock and then get them delivered but i have some bracelets and then this cute little coin purse and then as we walk to the right i have two of my favorite belts another headband and then this cute little clutch and then i have some necklaces and then some rings as well okay and then the rest of it is just four different drawers the first one has a clear front and then the rest i just went with the classic white i wanted this to be clear to display more stuff but then these i wanted them to be covered because everything on here it's kind of messy you can't really find a cute way to display it's just chunky sweaters scarves and then socks on the very last one but in here i have some headbands and then some of my baseball caps which i truly just have too many of these i need to narrow down my collection but these are the ones i grab the most and then as we moved on to the left this is the other middle column and then again at the top i just have two different hats and then in here i wanted it to be a little bit different than over here so i went with two bag stands i love these i purchased them from amazon i love the gold i feel like it matches everything in this room so i have two little cute purses to display and then i have this frame which i got from hobby lobby and i love the pink it's very neutral it's nothing too loud and it just stays so loved and right by that i have my scrunchie organizer this also works as a headband organizer you just kind of put them on there but since i have a space on here i ended up just putting all of my scrunchies and it is stackable so you just pull it apart and then again another jewelry insert in here there are some of my favorite necklaces these are the ones that i grab the most and then i have a couple of earrings but i usually keep them by my nightstand that's why i have a lot of empty space also added my belt bag it fit perfectly here and i thought it looks super cute some chains for sunglasses and then my sunglasses there in the back we also have more bracelets up here as well as some of my watches and then more bracelets more bracelets here too let's draw our all of my beanies i have a ton of these i am so glad that i decluttered my closet before this tour because i just had way too many so i only kept the ones that i absolutely love i'm not going to be using them anytime soon but i still like how they look and then again i have some workout clothes here and then some jean shorts and then more socks down there all right moving on to the next column i started off the shelf with more boxes and a hat and then i added all of my black and gray clothes on here i don't have too many grays but i still wanted a space for the ones that i do and then i try to do sleeve length as well so you can tell here is where the black ends and then this is where the grays start and then right underneath that i went with reds and pinks don't have too many red aside from two sweaters and a flannel and then all of my different shades of pink and then in the bottom i have all of my sneakers again two rows of sneakers you probably saw in the time lapse um all the ones that i have but these are my favorites that i grab all the time here's the last column in my closet again i started off with a few boxes to display i try to do the same thing on all of the top shelves just so it looks cohesive and cute and then down here i have a mixture of cardigans and dresses i don't have very much of either so i just thought it would be okay if i put them together try to color coordinate but it didn't really work with all the prints um and then down here i have some more storage i'm planning on switching this out for some jean shorts now that it's summer but i used to just have all of my joggers there since that's what i wear the most and then at the bottom i have all of my heels and sandals which again you probably saw most of them in the time lapse but i love that i have so much space on the bottom row to add the shoes that's all i got for you today if you like this video don't forget to give it a thumbs up and
