hello everyone in this video we will discuss about iser preference order and I will try to explain you the whole process of this iser preference order please try to adjust with my English let's start firstly we will uh discuss about some common doubts which you are asking in comment section so most of you are asking about this cut off marks for counseling so in last year we don't have anything like cut off marks in counseling but the student who got more than zero marks more than zero marks means positive marks one or more than one marks one or more than one marks awarded rank card what is rank card rank card is actually a score card in which rank is mentioned if in your scorecard rank is not mentioned then you are not eligible for counseling process and if rank is mentioned then you are eligible for this counseling process so the student who have one or more than one marks are eligible for this counseling proc process okay let's discuss about how this preference order work so I will start with directly with example in my previous video of counseling I had already told you that you have to fill your preference order like uh the most preferred iser at top and the least preferred iser at uh bottom so you have decreased your preference from top top to uh bottom you have to decrease your preference so I will try to explain you this preference order with the help of example like uh I want AO Pune at my first preference I want Isa pun and if I don't get Isa pun I want Kolkata iser Kolkata and if I don't get these two iser then I want iser moali then I want TVM or bopal and then I want TVM then tiati and then bampur so you have to think like that if I don't get first preferred iser then I want the uh Second prizer and if I don't get these two then I want uh third prizer and if I don't get first three prefer iser then I want this fourth preferred iser and if I don't get this for the so you have to think like this let's discuss about some big myths and mistakes which generally low rank student stents do during their choice feeling so let's start the students who scored low rank they generally think they will get either bahur or tirupati by the end of this counseling so they should uh they should fill bahur or tirupati at top because they think if they feel bampur or tirupati at top then they will have higher chance of getting bampur as compared to the student who have failed uh bahur at botom so I will uh try to explain you why this is wrong uh so let's consider there are two students student a and student B okay and both student have same rank okay same rank same rank okay now uh now student is doing his his choice feeling like bahur at top then tiati okay then TVM then bopal and then moali uh Kolkata Pune like this he's doing his choice fing but student be doing his choice fing like bahur at bottom then tiati then bopal then TVM then moali and so on like this okay let's say in round four round four uh the rank of student A and B are getting bampur uh whether they have filled bampur at top or bottom their rank will play a major role in allting allting their seat okay so if their rank is getting either bampur at fourth round then both of both of these students student A and B will alloted iser bahur but now student a who had filled bahur at top only have one option to freeze his seat and if he freeze his seat then he has to take only only iser bahur then he will no more part of this iser counseling process and he has to freeze his seat and he has to take iser bampur okay but student B he has fed iser bampur at bottom then he has two option one for freeze and one for float if he freeze his seat then he will freeze iser bahur he has to take iser bahur but if he float is bahur then his is bampur seat will be reserved and he will part of next counseling and in next counseling if his rank is getting some upper preferred iser then that upper preferred iser will be allotted to student B okay so if you are doing uh this Choice filling the student a choice filling like student a then you are making your chances of getting some upper preferred either zero and if you are doing preference order like student be then uh you are making your chances uh life to get some upper preferred iser okay and this is what I want to explain in last video in this video and if you still have doubt please uh message me on
