ICONIC HOT HATCH! - Peugeot 205 GTI - BeamNG Mods

please no you never catch me the Peugeot 205 truly an iconic 1980s hatchback and thanks to the GTI one of the most successful hot hatchbacks of all time we're gonna be checking out this brand new mod in BeamNG it came out just a couple of weeks ago and it's in Alpha it's by Jorge Pinto I've changed out some of their mods before I think the Land Rover Defender mod the new Lander a Defender mod was one of theirs and this is a brilliant way to kick off 2023 it's a new mod of the Peugeot 205 GTI there's so many different versions but the GTI well we had to start it didn't really 1.9 liter engine we can have a look at that beautiful Engine with the Bonnet release relief the hood in the interior yeah I know there you go and then open it here boom look at that great or revs up to about nearly 7 000 RPM let's take it for a spin so you can see the interior red seats they look great nice clear dials a beautiful looking steering wheel very sporty and let's get this thing on the road in Italy whoa bit of revs oh now the 205 GTI this is one of the best handling hatchbacks hot hatchbacks of all time very very famous very whoa sought after these days it had massive success rallying I believe very successful I think they kept it front wheel drive back then or maybe they had a four-wheel drive oh dear version of Thrones reset we're doing a crash test it just yet did the dials light up or they do look at that red dials oh I like it this mod is in Alpha there will be more content coming in the future for this mod it's very whoa why are we going down here back in the port handbrake very good handbrake in this car um there's quite a lot of content there's like I think six or seven different variants we can try out we're gonna try them all today but first we're going to put the GTI for its pace so driving it through Italy this is just where it's most suited around the city actually barreling down these streets wow look at that oh the roadworks oh no we hit oh oh dear look at that quite good deformation on this model okay we gotta do it full speed front crash test here we go oh a jump I'm even better uh here we go oh oh no there it goes the 205 GTI it flies It's a poster there of a woman that's that was weird okay we there are a lot of posters in this game that you can see like there's some for shoes there anyway uh reset come on we crushed us on a gelato shop oh let's take this thing to the motorway I think it's down here somewhere yep down the end of the town oh so it's not I mean it's not the fastest car ever but it is super super responsive whoa and dust lighter oversteer a bit weirdly that's kind of strange isn't it if I can find the motorway uh I think it's up here is it and then left I might be completely wrong uh one way street there I don't want to go down there whoa and we got fog lights you have to be doing the rear fog light even turns on I've never seen that before the rear high density fog light turns on that is so cool great detail that's going on the wrong way street oh [Music] yes there we go I'm lost I'm totally lost but it's fine I'm enjoying my experience in the Peugeot whoa here they are so if we go right or left actually it's the motorway [Music] we don't need to stop for fuel this thing should be pretty economical it's got that 1.9 liter engine which you know oh sounds quite small but it is pretty fruity right here we go on to the most right so top speed run then we'll look at a different version of the 207 205 sorry oh I got confused with Peugeot models see my first video of 20 to 23. Happy New Year hope you're having a great new year so far um I was going to make a video on this card just before the 0.27 update came out I was sat down ready to make a video and all of a sudden they sprung it on it's an 0.27 update and I didn't get a chance to make a video on this car so I thought to um start the new year I would do I you know intended to start and make this video finally whoa five gears looks like we've got a top speed of about 125 or maybe 180 kilometers per hour not too bad hatches these days are like really powerful I mean look at the um AMG is it the A45 that thing's craziness it's got like 300 and something horsepower um okay let's have a look at different versions so where is it we're not looking at any of issue cupboards we're looking at the Peugeot 205 where is it oh my goodness do you have a struggle to find mods on the list because I do uh no but there it is yeah the GTI Griff which I think has just different colors I think it's exactly the same apartment finder has like leather seats and stuff and a beautiful green color on the exterior let's have a quick look so yeah leather seats by the looks of it oh look at it in here now the doors don't quite fully open in this model but I'm sure that'll be fixed later the door sounds do sound quite good though yeah nice and I like the green but it's gonna you've got exactly the same engine around the roundabout here we go handbrake because I drove this thing I think in uh dirt rally too that car's in dirt rally too I think you know I did enjoy driving it a lot and it was just a front wheel drive version oh yeah okay we've had a look at those I think it's time to have a look at some of the letter models so let's start at the XC this is the most basic version it's only got a one liter engine effect I think it might be less than one liter it's a 950 four centimeter cubes one liter engine so that's what a 0.95 liter oh look at that Dash very simple we've got no rev counter just a standard sort of um fuel gauge Peugeot logo and the speedometer open the Bonnet oh hood release I'll look at the engine does it look different hmm not sure it looks different but anyway that's fine let's go still get some Wheels filling this thing we've got fog lights oh my goodness the interior is like this gray look at those seat belts though they look great the seat belts kind of floppy on the back there yeah steel wheels on this thing as well wow the steering wheel I quite like though I like the way this Peugeot Wheels look see I went past the Peugeot garage like a dealership the other day and I think the Peugeot range looks pretty good these days like in the last 20 years it's been pretty not great but I think they've regained some of their you know Mojo they've got they've got the um Heritage of the brand bag and they're trying to be a bit sportier these days so that's pretty cool um not the fastest car but this is just made for like you know driving around the French Countryside so whoa whoa high speed stability um and it's not terrible but oh dear we didn't do a full-on crash test did we we got to try that in a bit okay the XC I think we get the idea of that it's a standard sort of um low range hatch so here we go the XL this is going to be a slightly more luxury uh version this one has headrests yay we need head rests wow look at them two headrests that's a main feature of this car and it's got a slightly bigger 1.1 liter engine oh cool now does this car come with the diesel I'm not sure because it's the Alpha version of The Mod uh oh dear there you go there's the diesel so actually if I change this one here will there be a diesel version of this uh game control e wasn't working there you go um oh the xld there you go the 1.8 liter diesel so back in the day when they weren't like turbocharged these diesels had to make them much bigger to get any performance out to them oh that's surprisingly fast what the heck that's surprisingly fast yeah so the XL and the xld are the same model but you know this has a diesel and it's got a 1.8 liter engine pretty talky actually and it'll be good fuel economy France really picked up uh diesel cars in like the 80s and 90s way faster than the UK did which didn't really have its diesel Revolution until the early 2000s [Music] um and the reason for that is that the French government subsidized a lot of the diesel prices so you could get diesel about the same price maybe even cheaper than petrol um for a lot of like the 90s I think right here we go crash test Bang oh I like that that looks pretty good and the engine died and the Bonnet somehow managed to get on the roof I like the look of that and the glass all smashes that's good okay those are some of the more normal versions let's have a look at the XR this is a mid spec car and what does it say about it the XR towards the top levels more equipment is added and new seats designs coming as well there are Central events and an analog clock wow that's a feature of the car apparently the analog clock where is the clock There It Is Well that's not the real time I think the clock may have stopped 12 past oh so here you go look the lights ah the light switches doesn't move that'd be cool if they did indicator stalk yep indicator stalk we don't have um oh listen to the indicator interesting uh we don't have wipers in this game yet we could have weather sometime 0.28 come on weather and BeamNG wouldn't that be awesome have you got uh fog lamps no bugland's just standing on cars these days you'd never um see a car without fog lamps these days whoa look one of the signs fell off there that's kind of cool I didn't never noticed that on this map oh or it's someone's house whoops sorry we should do a little police chase in fact let's do it let's get a car it's perfect for chasing us so I think the Sharia has a police car I mean the Vivace policia yes perfect and to be fair to this car we'll put it in sport mode um and let's go for a slightly higher spec model so we've got the rally so the rally is straight from Forza Horizon 5 apparently um and this has a 1.3 liter engine but it's slightly sporty so it's not quite as good as the GTI but um it's a cost effective alternative than 205 GTI that siren is getting annoying okay oh but that is so retro I love the look of that rally with r-a-l-l-y-e okay let's do it lights on and then what we do AI uh chase me is it coming yes it's going go go go oh a lot of wheel spin you'll never catch me alive copper pleitzia what's a Italian slang for the police I don't know nothing too rude though okay uh yes wow I think that's a diesel uh the police car the Vivace but we're getting away from them whoa hit that are we okay yes we're okay smash window but yeah I can hear it it's a diesel come on he's catching up break break no he's around me he's around me he's around me there's a wall there oh dear oh wow they're a bit brutal aren't they come on get away get away get away please no you'll never catch me oh yes I think he's stuck I think he's stuck perfect we got away oh in the rally or did we no we didn't he's coming he's coming oh it's really difficult to control now oh no oh no oh no oh no there we go good power though really smooth power delivery not too much real spin a really Pleasant Driving Experience even when it's all damaged and you know broken up like this here we go bang and the wheel's kind of fallen off that is really really epic well there you go the Peugeot 205 it is a recently released mod that you can get on the BeamNG forums just downloaded from
