i love that chris campbell i'm native watercraft pro team so here to talk to you guys about the slayer max 10 that we have out where's the uh what do you do where's that slayer max logo there max right there up there relax so i mean if you want let's let's start to the front of it baby let's do it yeah so we got up front here we got a nice you know nice uh grab handle we like the rubber grip you know last gear track actually you know it's it's actually a bike bmx style drive right so a lot of i'm liking the bike just in case you guys didn't know this is basically a water bike for the most part so you got nice so when you're when you're when you're transporting it down to the water and we'll get to the side kick here in a second you know it's just nice walking pace you know nice nice angle for your wrist right i mean moving back we got a little bit of bungee there raincoat whatever you want to put down robson protectors hot tip protectors we got our front hatch here little yeah little tiny bin there and and really you know we were thinking about should we keep a better shouldn't we right when we're doing this because of the the size yeah but if you look here this is this is actually a scupper hole to where your transducer wiring is going to come through so now you've still got room for your battery we got these little states here to keep all your wiring right in there yeah dude that is close through here that's so good camera guy paul is a big fan of the wiring pin so you know bungee cord you keep it so it's not going to fly open on you yeah um you got nice latches there that's heavy dude this is new for us this year as well on our latches because you got a nice thumb hole pull you've got a glove on or whatever sometimes you can't really grab onto it so those are really nice that's the pull that's when you're pulling the whole drive out when you're throwing the drive out we'll get to that once once we pull this up here so speaking of the drive we got our we've got our cover tray here okay and if you want to you need to pull the drive up we got our prop indexer so you might want to take a look at that so to index the prop to get through here just pedal forward that is heavy duty i like it yeah think of like an out like a little outdrive on it yeah 100 yeah 100 oh yeah and then you just pedal instant reverse so that's one of the things being a hobie driver that's one of the things that we always talk about it that we don't have is instant reverse it was way worse with the 180 because you had to pull the strap to turn around it was 10 times worse well we like the instant reverse because when you get on a spot you've got manual spotlight yeah you can go in manual spot lock that's pretty sweet yeah you know you're coming up on a dock or something you know and oh i'm a little bit too fast yeah [Music] are these your uh wiring yeah so a new a new feature that we had on actually the slayer max 12. there's the 12 electronics so we got that one on the right got our electronics plate on the right here but on the slayer max 10 for this year people are different right you're some people are right-handed left-handed and really depending on what you are you're going to have your graph mounted on different sides so we got we got plates on both sides now i love that let me get right in there both sides rod holding four-facing rod holder my boys so this is hands down hands down the most underrated the most underrated thing and it costs almost nothing exactly it's molded in and really like a lot of people will land their fish mostly on the right side right dude so it's it's one fell swoop you're going to lift up you're going to net the fish one motion and then while you're tying up your next knot it's anonymous you got two hands ready to roll he gets it he gets it so to kind of show you to take the drive off it's really just simple i like it what's the what's the weight of that drive oh 10. it's it's got some weight it it's it's good that it happens because that means it's not going to break yeah it's like i mean it's heavy duty brandon boulder before nothing's happened so that's what we like that is i'll tell you right now sacrifice weight for durability every single time adam and eve still got the left-hand side you've got your got your rudder yeah and we got molded in storage for 3600 trays yup we always use the holes we love that yeah cool feature on this one here too yeah you got your seat adjustments here but we got a tray also here i just saw that i like that that is your transport think about this right kayak fishing we're trying to carry a lot of gear even though we're in small kayaks but you got one two three four right at your right fingertips without without bringing your own drinking crate it's awesome right you don't need a crate really i love it it's so great i mean let's be honest that's where everything goes anyways yeah it does all up here anyone just realized what bait pile of you've made right here in my boat it's literally like a graveyard so a lot of us you know when we're tournament fishing we need our phone to take pictures of the fish to submit it so you got you got under seat storage where you can inside your your measuring board you get a tether you got your phone right there this is the you know iphone keyword feather keyword tether yeah that's the 12-minute system like nothing that's actually a really good point he called out that there's a drainage slot right here so that when it's raining which happens a lot if your phone's in there that's not going to fill up with water and drown your phone yep and depending on you know how tall you are we got a lot of adjustability for the pedals yep well and that's trimming out too oh depending how fast you're going what you're dealing with yeah nice big tank well now we like this i like this a lot there's there's a lot of people do it a lot of different ways but because they have the track mount going here for the customizability this is just coming undone if i've got my hands and i can do them you're just unclipping it right there to open this up because big old cooler something tall battery whatever it happens to be i love that so if you see here we got the side kick system to transport it it's bolted right to our track right it's it's right into the truck you don't have to worry about backing plates or anything this track will handle the weight of the kayak i have this system on my titan thirteen five oh and i got the battery i got trolling that's the big dog and i move it right and two years going i've never had an issue with the track braking or anything like that and we've seen we've seen it's very very third-party models that we've used before that we know work but the installation process was a sweaty nightmare and it's also very scary because it's you know it's third party we invented the new installation process for the boondocks like and we call it the sweaty nightmare the string it's the string method it's it is before that they were using heavy gauge wire to pull the pin down we're not doing so i i tied a knot around the washer ran the string through yeah it's a joke this is the biggest thing because how easy is it i mean honestly this can fall out and these are the sizes this is going down but not anymore i love that it's very well thought out uh i mean just a couple other quick features you know backup storage for your paddles paddle storage here you know you can invert them however way you want to put it right this is genius because i have no idea where to put my paddles right wherever you got two nice really good grips here we love the hd love that that is slick regular rear facing rod holders right here on each side these are movable yep so if you didn't have you didn't have the side kick installed where some people do you know they're gonna be permanently at their lake house or whatever and you don't have the wheels now these these little keepers right here are your rods to where you put your rod butt leg yeah and then you would slide it all the way to the front the rods run there and we also have a system that does bolt to the side kick to take her in there okay that's slick yeah and then we got the rudder in the back right there you see the hull how you got the runners yes right through here right so you're going to track very well yeah so this is tracking for those who don't know this is keeping you straight while you're pedaling and while you're not pedaling so keeps you going the direction that you're headed now here's another little silly thing a lot of people don't think of drain plugs right 100 if you do get water in the hall look at the location of your drain plug good spot you just tilt it up and this comes right now yeah so he's talking about you get water inside the hull what are you gonna do a lot of them you'll get doubles in the back they're not always in a good spot this is very and you can't lose the plug this bad boy up it's in a good spot yeah yeah absolutely dude so yeah this that's the uh 2021 slayer max 10. what's the what's the retail outcomes like stock retail uh 25.49 sidekicks or no without the sidekick the sidekick's another 200 bucks 200 bucks but you could you can order it as a like one sku with the sidekick system that is honestly the value chalice on that is full that's awesome buy me it mom yeah seriously great ball i love the color i love the color cup holder over on this side yeah and this thing you know i'm all about that cup holder like a cup holder and it's all built-in drainage whatever side you want mr best so he did a tick tock he said what's the most annoying thing about your kayak and he zooms in and there's like an inch of water in his cup great dude for the money oh my god nice like if you look at the padding right a lot of you know a lot of seats a lot of seats will just have your material but we add in this little bit extra like honeycomb yeah foam to to get that extra padding yeah this looks like the back seat of my truck yeah it's really nice waterproof it dries quick i love it dude that's great phenomenal nice big scuppers too let the water drain out yeah we do uh yeah that was the most flattering thing that's happened to me this whole week really yeah hey hey guys i'm blake with new canoe we're here at icast 2021 and i want to give you a rundown of uh the unlimited kayak we got some killer things on here um this is a brand new kayak that came out in the in the spring of this year and people who have it absolutely love it as the name implies man this thing is meant to do everything go anywhere and just super versatile so this is the new patrol blue color we're introducing it here at icast be a standard color for 2021. um the unlimited has about 22 feet total of top load aluminum track throughout the boat massive open deck and just really you can do anything you want with this so i'm just going to give you a little run down how this one's set up so you can get one idea how this can roll so this is our gear pod this modular on-demand storage you can put batteries in here electronics you can put ice you can use this any way you want and it's real killer because it just slides right out nice cherry handle on it and if you load it up it's got two handholds here it's like a super lego so if it's loaded up with something you want to keep a level you carry it that way yeah or it's like your carry-on suitcase so wow this is like everything that jeff needs this turned 30 minutes to work in a five minutes work that's awesome what are you saying what are you saying working our way back we got our new big wheel pulley but we'll show you what this is pulling up in a minute but i love it that makes retracting really simple and look there's instructions lift would you say got the lorentz unit mounted on the gunnel track and you can see the wiring access plate put to good use here we took all that extra 25 feet of transducer wire and tucked it in the hole so it's not in your way these plates remove with those screws they're replaceable so you really there's no uh you don't have a lot of wiring risk yeah and this is brand new as well this thing's awesome it doesn't look like much on top but you got a little bit of pull on there and when you pop that camera down there you'll see what's happening so it's protected deploys it for use because otherwise yeah so that's a killer set up there no this just the this part screws in to the bottom part so this kind of gets captured inside of the scupper and only the cleat is installed on the boat that's nice um we got the fusion seat this seat has been a game changer for everyone's inner saturn and just absolutely great seat then we have our control for our new eps motor electric propulsion simplified just a real simple way to add an electric motor to the kayak this uses the uh the newport vessels uh nka 180 s motor for 2022 so brand new motor system for this yes you got your steering handle come back to your uh quick connect mount oh wow and anthony wants you to turn the handle there so showing the steering there [Music] does this come off yes something like this yeah we have a little bit more so that's why you've got you want to take it off at the end of the day you got to disconnect that pull that pin you can also drop a torquito on this same mount or a rudder system yes wow that is fantastic yeah get your full battery in here you got a little as well yeah it has some storage in there just access for wiring yeah uh 2022 price it's 17.49 for the unlimited the eps motor systems 1149 so you'd be under 3 000. smokes under 3k i love how wide these are too is that 38 super wide uh it's 41. 41. that doesn't feel like it on the water it really does great and then the seat moves forward and back yes we're trimming out the whole thing well you need it here you've got the whole tray yeah and since it's a lithium it's going to be got the little track right there too you can center them out there's a i like that seattle yeah well this is the motorized kind too that was really weird so this is power check this out it's a long story is it really yeah it started when he was born no it allows me you're not wrong here's how have you seen the lure series at all i don't know actually i don't even we looked at we looked at feel free before we looked at hobies we ride a hobie pro angler 360 right now nice boats um but yeah i remember we were looking at some of these before at least i was but i did not know anything about it but we knew nothing about them i got you so a couple things about the feel free brand if you don't know they all have the wheel and the keel so they're easy to drag around and you know yeah that is awesome you know people are like that's kind of a hoax it doesn't really work and then you get to the landing and you got to go across the parking lot and everything else is there dragging it putting their card in and all that stuff it comes with the or you can get the motor system which slides in and out right now the motor is engaged so you can see that's you know free spinning got i gotta go electric motor you can pop that out and it goes into pedal mode and the battery's in here no we put the battery up here full sizer i got you so what's this hatch so this is just kind of storage in here that's the rain box for the motor nice the drives are a little heavy you know because it's all casted it's you know oh no yeah yep it sure is sweet this looks like a flamethrower for a video game i think that is kind of sweet i expect this to only shoot lasers so you have your motor current your battery status how many amps you're pulling like if you crank it up no it's resolution tell me more tell me more but no leasing but no laser beams yeah that's next dude all that from that handle right there that's awesome and what's the uh what's the battery life i'm assuming this is like a 12. yay guys do a lot of accessories too not a lot of depth in here oh oh it is yeah get your keepers dude where are you guys out of southern state did you say exactly yeah we got lots of lakes for kayaks it's kind of a perfect spot it's sweet the seat is extreme is that lumbar then oh geez you want to talk about lumber support you are supported holy smokes oh my gosh and then these guys oh so it is going back and forth yeah yeah yeah this one's new this is that's cool but then you can move it forward so do you get this oh it is it comes up and you can move it around oh so uh my my the predator i had back in the day from old town their first iteration of yeah you're right like this you got super pumped up and you laid back it would come up off its track and you would you'd fall down it happened i've done it multiple times one of my best smallmouth of all time i was like yes it looks like i see it went down bottomed out yeah yeah happened all the time they're heavy but they're fast there's a slightly bigger one for the 108 is it and uh oh okay yeah it's only slightly bigger but the depth and everything is quite a bit different but this one this boat gotcha really these are my camera boats when i film these i was i was gonna say this would be yeah you could just throw something back that one has the electric drive too not lighter you got two batteries sometimes guys just take the front seat out and run that motorized that's what i was actually there because that only looks like it's 14 foot i would say most people buy this are using it alone and they just want the space sure extra batteries are extra gear but you have to sit back here yeah you're way back it's a lot of space that's where your steering is right oh so you're not you can't even pedal as a second person no no no no you're taking me for a ride i'll fish you pedal yeah
