I WON A BOX OF VINTAGE POKEMON CARDS AT A LOCAL AUCTION! You Won't Believe What I Paid [unboxing]

what is up my breaking family sending some positive vibes in your direction so first and foremost i am extremely tired got my red bull i'll be good to go murray say hi now let me go ahead and fill you in on what is going on today so about 4 am in the morning i was going through local auctions i came across one that had a listing for a box of just random pokemon cards now i couldn't really see what pokemon cards were inside of this box but the ones i could see were a little bit on the older side needless to say the box has piqued my interest i was like it'd be fun to go to this auction when is this auction oh it's in eight hours well i guess i better get to bed and surprisingly i woke up on time brave that's very rare so we are on our way to this auction and we are going to try to win all of these pokemon cards and then go back to the studio and see what was inside of the box and hopefully we can get a good deal on them you all know how much i love a good deal and before we get these pokemon cards because i will win these pokemon cards i'm not leaving without them go ahead and leave a comment down below guessing how much you think these pokemon cards are gonna go for i'm gonna go ahead and make a guess right now and i'm gonna say about 50 let's head to the auction all right marie we found a place to park a little bit of a walk but that's okay are you nervous for your first ever auction no we're not leaving without those pokemon cards no no no no [Music] okay next item up what do we got pokemon cards that's 710 12 and a half 15 dollars 15 15 17 and a half i told you sir look at that we got it we got him all right marie breaking family we got this entire box of vintage pokemon cards i mean i did a quick flip through there's some basin in there there's some fossil there's some jungle i'm not gonna lie i was shaking a little bit we're shaking a lot i get excited when i go to auctions i get excited just the rush the adrenaline i really thought there was gonna be a lot more people bidding but there wasn't there was like one one other person bidding we got there soon as the auction was starting so i did not get to even look at what was inside of the box i was legit just bidding on a box of pokemon cards without having a clue a clue what was inside of this box ah this is so much fun marie are we home yet marie's lost breaking family i am beyond excited for today's pokemon card opening well not really an opening more of a uh discovery speaking of discovery does anybody remember discovery zone back in the day however the topic at hand is this box of pokemon cards that i won at a local auction for are you ready go ahead pause this video make a guess down in the comment section down below of how much you think i spent on this entire box of pokemon cards well unfortunately i'm not gonna tell you right now we are gonna build up just a little bit of pokemon card suspense so i will let you know later in the video but right now i want to go ahead and dive into this box of pokemon cards so i have seen some of these but 95 of this box i have not seen yet so the cards i looked at already i took out a stack right here and i started looking through him once i won the auction i was like no i gotta wait till i start recording the video so i have seen like this section like right here and i took a little bit of a peek at these sleeved cards right here not all of them but just a couple of them i couldn't help myself i'm just being honest so let's go ahead and start with this side right here now when i did take out a section over here i did notice there was some fake pokemon cards so we're gonna try to pull those out as we go all right here we go we have a stack and i think already that's a fake pokemon card yeah that right there is a uh is a fake pokemon card i don't know if you can tell that on screen but i can easily tell that is a fake one but like that mime junior right there absolutely real so uh let's go ahead and go through this and see what kind of gems we can find now uh oh vaporeon nice okay okay jungle awesome i'll set that off to the side now um when i these are fake as well i mean there's three from right in a row they're uh they're definitely fake look at that look at that fake but i mean we're running the real stuff too that dawn finn absolutely real so um when i saw the picture online uh for this auction um i did not see any rares in the picture i saw a couple vintage cards and uh that was it so really i was kind of uh bidding on something that i had no clue what was inside of it so i was kind of hoping for the best hey there we go base set pikachu nice oh two of them back to back whew okay okay i'll take base that pikachu's any day kidding me sand slash i'm actually gonna set those off to the side sand slash unknown now as we go through this let me know some of your favorite cards from this box i definitely want to know uh what your favorites are that volbe i can tell that's fake yep that's a fake card uh energize energies plus power we got glysor darkrai which i can tell that's fake as well yup that's fake uh wormadom which yeah oh wow yeah that's definitely fake wow okay that's really bad fake okay uh charmeleon base set two nice okay kingler oh first edition kingler right there not bad at all condition isn't too horrible either switch we got kangaskhan reverse holo that's not a fake either nice nice kangaskhan charmander okay here we go charmeleon mag mortar which is fake oh if that charizard that was a real charizard but unfortunately yep that is a fake charizard so is that magmorter and uh that blaziken yeah that against fake as well okay we got some good stuff in here cresselia fake okay uh new mel we got energies magmars okay lots of energies oh charmander i do like that charmander right there okay that one's not a fake moltres nice okay okay i'll take that i'll take that energies energies energies charmeleon gravulus combustion yeah that one's fake no moltres fossil series definitely take that mag mortar holo that is not a fake that is definitely not a fake wow okay that one's in really really good shape too check that out nice nice okay charmander and more energy goodness okay so i'm going to push all that off to the side i got to get a good system going here let's go into the next section right here uh and i'll put this back off to the side all right here we go um charmander there's bill arcanine blaze again which is fake i'm gonna stop pulling out the fake card so i'm just gonna go through it execute onyx atkins oh couple atkins and arbok e series nice gotta love that e series goodness right nice arbok okay condition oh dark arbok nice breaking family check that out dark arbok from the team rocket series awesome awesome i'm gonna kind of pull out my favorite pulls as we go along unknown raichu yes fossil series raichu uh magmar gotta love the magmar lots of energies slow king which i can tell those are fake yep uh we got a japanese uh piplup we got pokeball more energy squirtle tint cruel piplup oh the adorable adorable piplup i actually really like that card i'm pulling that one out and energies as well okay i'm gonna set those off to the side i'm just gonna keep grabbing from this box over here i don't have to show you every single time i'm grabbing from the box you you know what i'm doing pokemon center whooper these cards are gonna be kind of every which way horsey oh i love that horsey some of my favorite horsey artwork honestly oh i love it's adorable i'm gonna pull that one out as well bill we got a steel x pokedex kabuto delta species more magmars moomoo milk one of my favorite cards of all time i just love this artwork so so much i'm definitely gonna pull that one out poliwag energies oddish more delta species right there bell awesome oh i love that bell awesome nice set that off to the side blaine's gamble thero we got mime junior hollow oh nice look at that look at that breaking family loving the artwork it's on the tree stump as well it is a promo i'm i'm sending it off to the side i like it that is a fake yep that is a fake um grove oil we got weedles we got zan goose with those david bowie vibes voltorb metapod pod oh cradley nice nice okay i'm gonna set that one out to the side too oh look at that not in bad shape just a little bit of a bend right up there in the corner but hey we'll still take it we'll still take it dial gum that might have been a fake i didn't look at it too closely tauros whose favorite pokemon is nobody i know it's fine espeon marie will definitely love that she might not have that in her collection so i'm gonna set that off to the side i love the snow right there even though i'm not a big fan of snow in general but i love the snow and you get the sunlight coming through the trees right there beautiful beautiful arbok sphero altaria power keepers nice whoo breaking family we are getting some really really nice pulls but wait till you hear how much i spent on this entire box i'll tell you right now less than 50 less than 50 on this box voltorb dark electrode um i'm gonna set that right there oh charmander delta species absolutely going right over there electabuzz the promo the movie promos you remember that with the stamp right there wb presents pokemon the first movie the promo we're gonna set that off to the side as well chin chow love it love it love it diglett dig dug trio nice ride on gastly star ravia dark vaporeon all right i gotta set that off to the side love the dark vaporeon call for jigglypuff still to this day my absolute favorite jigglypuff artwork of all time classic with the music notes in the background i wish i had a full size of this like a painting full size to hang up because i absolutely would in my house and a yon mega hollow we'll take that condition once again really really nice honestly not bad at all let's set this off to the side once again and go ahead and see what else oh no oh no okay we were doing good we were doing so good and now they're definitely every which way energy removal we have monferno so bear with me as i turn a lot of these cards around magikarp who doesn't love magikarp right we got ma wild which is a fake yup fake fake fake we got dialga oh look at that dialga very very beautiful nice i'm gonna set that off to the side more fake malwals fake fake we don't need to look at that do we it's fake um togetic more together that's fake yep uh that's real vero sad that we have to do that but we we have to um skinny a whale lord growlithe horsey i'm going to be honest with y'all this is very very difficult rolts delta species i'm going to set that off to the side because i like it oh grandball wow i forgot about that gramble artwork wow e series once again let's set that off to the side i like that cast form we don't see too many cast form cards anymore bulbasaur uh we got lieutenant surges voltorb cadabra yes cadabra which we do have alakazam coming up in shocking volt tackle uh that is a fake as well we got lydian oh dragon frontiers lydian i like that a lot look at the artwork on that delta species set that off to the side as well but yeah it's very difficult to go through these and try to pick up i mean that's fake pick out the things that you like uh or that you really really like and also try to make sure you're spotting all the fakes at the same time i'm sure a lot of you will spot some that i might have passed up psyduck of course we're setting that off to the side are you kidding me oh my goodness we have dark dragonite whoa whoa yes dark dragon eye absolutely stunning whoa look at the foil on that too i don't even really see any scratches nice i mean the edges edges are just a little bit a little bit rough but whoa okay dark dragonite loving that breaking family loving that dark dragonite i'm gonna set that in my pile right over there let's keep moving forward we got growl uh oh i see something right there coughing metapod kabuto and a primate from a legendary collection the reverse hollow oh my goodness oh my goodness that right there is a really really good find you gotta love these reverse hollows from legendary collection right these reverse holes are just absolutely stunning well i wish they would do these again wow okay primate we're getting some we're really getting some uh some good finds right here now uh we got spoink numel metapod pod pachurisu which i believe was a fake yeah those are fakes fake fake fake fake lantern we got energy that's a fake mad cargo which is fake once again uh we got shelder those are fakes yup fakes fake uh onyx we got a hippo how you doing hippo and some rocks and slowpoke i love that slowpoke still some of the best artwork we got quillava delta species goodness those are fakes whatever they are okay altarios uh we got potion venonat grimer sabrina oh my apologies sabrina's mr mine there we go sabrina's mr mime great artwork once again um and i vibrava onyx parasect we got a vulpix delta species once again the artwork made out of clay i like that one i'm setting it off to the side i like it i'm sorry i like that i kind of like the clay cards i know not a lot of people are fans of those but oh yes kabutops are you kidding me some neo goodness breaking family that right there is a stellar stellar fine fantastic find wow wow okay all right kabutops you're going right over there wow okay starly i can look at that that is definitely some of the best artwork ever vileplume from jungle will sit right over there gloom more gloom now this opening or this unboxing if you will is definitely not gloom we can actually kind of turn these around and go through a little bit easier growlithe ponyta ponyta chimchar switch we got giovanni's machop amistar first edition amistar from fossil shelters my rel which is a promo i'm gonna set it off to the side too i like that more my rel mamo swine goodness love disc dark vaporeon we'll set that out there as well uh viridian city gym doe dreo two of those rapidash beautiful beautiful uh what else we got here oh we got rayquaza recusa requesa rayquaza delta species nice holland phantoms wow okay very very nice delta species rayquaza recusa requesa i know a few people that are definitely going to be excited about seeing that card right here in today's pokemon opening poliwhirl more weedles arbok atkins horsey brock's vulpix and dark primate we got plenty more dark ride that is uh fake unfortunately slowpoke we also have oh here comes team rocket the original from the team rocket set um still still going through them see what else we oh nice slow bro nice artwork um we have let's see if we can go through these just a little bit quicker it's definitely a lot more difficult when these cards are every which way and i don't want to sort them out because then i'll see what every one of them are and i want to be surprised so magnemite electabuzz uh we got energies sorry if i'm not talking a crazy amount metagross metagross i'll set that off to the side too i'm sorry if i'm not talking like a crazy amount like i usually do um because i'm trying to absorb all of this as well just like you are uh so i i definitely am not expecting what is uh what is coming up so more it was just non-stop tentacles okay gambler potion raticate tangula hippos more hippos that's a fake weedle and energy retrieval and energy i'm going to clean up a little bit so let me go ahead and show you how far along we are through this box we've seen a lot of cards a lot of great cards so far and we still have a lot of progress to go right here some of my favorite polls so far that we have gotten from this box that we won at a local auction dark dragonite i mean i cannot believe that was in their dark dragon knight uh that charmainer that altaria espeon i mean a lot of really really good cards so far we have gotten and uh we still have plenty plenty more to go so let's continue shall we seeing a lot of doubles revive dratini nice that background still wow um we also have doug trio lightning cube turn those over we have graveler more energies more moomoo milk there we go that's what i'm talking about moo moo milk start your day off right with some moo moo milk oh nice skarmory breaking family that is another good find from this box wow wow nice we are doing great with this box now my plan is for the future this is kind of like a test uh that i wanted to do and um i plan to try to do a lot more auctions uh flea market stuff things like that it's something i've been wanting to do here on the channel for a while and uh this opportunity kind of popped up at the very there's a nice long hair in there gross that might not be mine uh growl but i've been wanting to go to a lot more flea markets do a lot more videos at flea markets at auctions things like that and oh haunter i promise i'll say my thought here eventually hunter from fossil and that is a hollow rare whoo not bad a little bit a little bit right over there along the edges but hey not bad at all uh but i've been wanting to do a lot of those types of videos here on the channel and this opportunity kind of came up at the very last minute and i was like here's a great chance to kind of like test it out um just do a very kind of simple video of it and um see if you all enjoy it uh fake i know i enjoy it and i'm probably gonna continue doing it every once in a while so i'm sorry if you don't enjoy it i upload content that i enjoy and i hope other people enjoy it as well um you know i upload things that i would want to see so expect to see not all the time but you know these videos maybe every once in a while for the people that do enjoy them but i want to find like you know really interesting stuff not just pokemon cards but just pokemon stuff in general at flea markets at auctions i like that a lot i'm gonna set that off to the side um i want to try to find some like hidden pokemon treasure so kind of almost like a uh a sp oh nice wow okay okay almost kind of like a spin-off of uh hidden pokemon cards but um just kind of like a new series of it i mean obviously we're still doing but yeah i want to set those all off to the side over there that that delta species mu i cannot believe that was in the box i love that card so much squirtle we got voltorb voltorb uh what else we got here so my camera ran out of battery so i'm just going to catch you up on just a couple things it was only like a minute i was still recording and didn't realize it i found this base set clefairy right here and i also set this pikachu off to the side as well uh those were really kind of the only finds um and then we were kind of continuing onwards a lot of energies we've seen a lot of energy so far but we've also seen a lot of good cards but those were the only two notable ones that i've pulled out so far um let's continue onward charmeleon i know this video is kind of like all over the place but like i said it's so hard the cards are every which way i'm trying to spot the fakes as we go along uh from the real cards and trying to pull out cards that i enjoy as well but still trying to uh making sure that i'm talking you know uh because like i said i'm trying to take this all in at the same time as you all are we have eradicate uh let's kind of flip these around we got monferno arcanine and oh that's definitely a fake right there yep that's a fake nice artwork but it's a fake combustion let me go ahead and flip all those around can you spot the fake pokemon card go ahead which one's the fake pokemon card uh mape and that's a fake right there look at that fake that is that is old school fake right there check that out wow old school fake that's ah crazy let's go ahead and look at some of these sleeved cards next i'm assuming that they're uh they made a deck out of uh out of their cards and uh so we got some some free sl oh whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa okay we'll get to that we'll get to that i saw some rayquaza recruiter requested there uh okay here we go we got rosariade now i've seen some of the cards there in the other sleeves yeah these sleeves now i've seen some of those but i've not seen what cards are in the red sleeves right now or maroon if you will 10 growth is that a fake that has to be right oh yeah that's a fake that is a fake scyther that's definitely not a fake though tangula what else do we got here oh venusaur how you doing venusaur welcome to the party nice okay i'll set that right over there cherubi more fake tangos tangula ivysaur that one off to the side as well let's grab the rest of the sleeved cards now i know there is well i won't spoil it for you magikarp we got a lapras fossil lapras we got squirtle base set gyarados welcome to the party base set gyarados and that polito the neo goodness of this polytoad loving the background in that setting both of those off to the side we got squirtle squad we got hollow rare vaporeon i'm thinking that some of these cards might be just in a little bit better condition since they're in sleeves maybe not i don't know we have no idea how long salamance ex now that one i did not realize was inside of this salamance ex delta species let's see if we can take that one out just a little bit oh nice nice check out that salamance ex delta species not bad at all set that one off to the side as well we have dark wartortle evie dark blastoise whoo yes yes dark blastoise we love ourselves the good dark blastoise in our life now this one i remember but that salamance i don't dark blastoise uh articuno oh another hollow hollow vaporeon we got ourselves also a cast form and a haunter and a seal okay okay not bad some pretty good stuff in those sleep carts we still have a lot of cards breaking family i mean check this out all of those to go we're going through it together i figured instead of me going through these by myself oh flareon welcome welcome marie is going to be very happy yes and umbreon back to back it was like it was made for marie uh she's not here right now so she's gonna be very happy once she gets home and i tell her uh what was inside of this box um but i figured now instead of going through this box by myself i would do it with all of you i know it may not be the most exciting video but uh if i was to click on a youtube video this would be the kind of stuff i'd be watching electabuzz base set two i want to set that off to the side we got a fake pidgeot yep lantern pokey flute oh i love pokey flute classic classic card uh what else we got here sleep something that i could use more of is sleep jigglypuff i know they're upside down but you kind of get the point you've seen them before most likely energies we've seen plenty of those this video this pokemon unboxing i guess it's more of an unboxing than an opening right mary we got zubats that's exactly like it is when you walk into a cave it's nothing but zubats machop oddish uh kabuto and come on come on let's let's find let's find a good solid card oh my goodness oh my goodness lots of energies right now what is up with all these energies uh star you laying out in the sun that's a fake card but we'll still take a look at it stelix wheezing which i believe was fake as well and oh there we go base set to mewtwo another great find from this box i got to tell you i got to tell you how much i spent on this box um it'll probably absolutely just kind of blow your mind it blew my mind it blew my mind um hopefully you made your guess already i said less than 50 is what i spent on this box i spent a total after taxes after taxes i spent a total of 16 16 on this entire box that's all i spent on this box um i believe i got the auction uh i actually won the box for like 14 or 15 something dollars um and some odd change uh but with taxes and everything you know uh and you know the auction taxes and all that stuff it came out to 16 either way but 16 total is what i spent on this box right right is that not crazy oh dark flareon put that over there absolutely insane that's why i want to do more of these types of videos you know maybe like once or twice a month do these types of videos here on this channel if i can find things obviously finding stuff and actually winning it and getting it is the hard part but i'd like to try to do these types of videos like once or twice a month and just kind of find what kind of hidden pokemon treasures are out there hidden pokemon card treasures hidden pokemon item treasures just whatever at flea markets at um electivire um at uh at auctions so uh i'm gonna try i'm definitely gonna try infernape that's a fake but be nice if it was real right we are getting to the end of the box there's actually uh a couple coins in there as well porygon war tortola we have more wartortle snorlax ride on kikuno licketong flip those around geodudes feel like we've seen a million geodudes fake energies once again persian i mean i'm i'm perfectly happy pokemon breeder i mean when you it's a rare when you pulled those uh rare trainers back in the day you were just like uh oh why me why me charmeleon delta species why did i have to pull why did i have to pull a trainer as my rare why gengar fossil lass i do i do like that that that's always been a nice card ditto delta species what else do we have here caterpie we got of fakes inside of this box i mean even common back then minimum you see it can you see the the foil on it yes there we go there we go nice nice i'm gonna set that one off to the side too charmander combustion crystal guardians oh and i do see that dragonite ah crystal guardians combustion set that off to the side dragonite which is our second dragonite of that version that we have found well we found the holo version and then that one we found the dark dragonite um our second one from fossil i guess i should say oh there we go there we go that is that's a rare that's a rare that's an ultra rare energy right right okay we'll set that off to the side over there that's a good find too oh alakazam are you kidding me base set alakazam wow fantastic fantastic that that right there is probably
