hello everyone my name is yarrow and welcome to my YouTube channel today I will be discussing five things that will help with a smoother playthrough experience in Disney's dream light Valley please like And subscribe for future dreamlite Valley and cozy gaming videos before we start I wanted to thank everyone for their support on my last video I can't wait to make more videos on this channel also I will be back on Twitch streaming starting next week so if you're interested in checking that out you can find the link in the description box below let's get started hoard these fish the white sturgeon is the fox's favorite treat and if you want to complete the forging task without too much tedious grinding you'll want to accumulate a nice stack as early as possible you can find both Fox and sturgeon in the Frozen Heights biome keep an eye out for the gold bubbles water in this biome is minimal compared to the other biomes and the gold bubbles don't spawn as frequently so be sure to stop whenever you see them as you work through your other chores you can feed each type of fox once per day upon consuming the sturgeon the foxes will also drop A Shard or a motif you will only need 10 sturgeon to complete this forging task but if you're a sadist and you're trying to collect as many motifs as possible you'll probably want to stockpile a bit more than that it's also a good way to get shards Lobster is the crocodile's favorite and for much of the same reasons as the white sturgeon you should hold on to them you can find Lobster in the Glade of trust by fishing on gold bubbles there's tons of water here so it's easier to find than the sturgeon you'll also get the same Motif and Shard rewards I'd also suggest saving some more common fish like the Herring you'll probably get Stacks and stacks of this fish and you'll be tempted to sell them for some quick cash but you'll find that saving them will help you complete a lot of the Dreamlight Valley tasks involving cooking fish without having to use up more of your uncommon or rare fish I like to stockpile Herring so that I can make a ton of Elsa's nasty pickled herring creation you'll get this recipe during Elsa's questline I have found that this one meal takes the boxes for many cooking tasks and is a solid option if you want to complete many tasks simultaneously I'm always looking for ways to avoid grinding out each individual task there are probably better meals to accomplish that but for me this seemed to be the most obvious trees and wood I spent so much time in the beginning of my my first playthrough making forests so that I could gather a motherload of wood because more trees means more wood right that's not the case in this game there's a set number of wood and types of wood that can drop in each biome having a ton of trees creates more work as you have to run around the entire Zone to gather everything I recommend placing two or three trees in a convenient spot so that you can quickly gather them allowing for more wood to drop that is unless you like a forest Vibe also it doesn't matter what trees you place as they will drop the same types of wood per each biome sort furniture and clothing by theme okay maybe this is obvious but for me it was not I like to decorate rooms by theme and spent quite a bit of time trying to cross-check which pieces for which sometimes it takes me working harder not smarter to figure out the way to work smarter not harder I didn't spend a lot of time decorating in the beginning of the game so somehow I miss the fact that you can scroll down on this menu and filter furniture and clothing by theme it makes things so much easier speed Buffs eating cooked meals allows you to gain energy exceeding the max amount making visits to your house for energy less frequent more importantly having a yellow energy bar can give you a speed buff that will make traversing The Thorn riddled hellscape a little more pleasant you can dine and dash by going into Remy's realm and max out your yellow bar by using the free available ingredients without wasting any of your precious resources having a character with you doesn't give extra for dreamlike tasks it's a good idea to have somebody tagging along with you while you are leveling up your characters after level 10 though there's not really a reason to have them tag along with you unless you need the extras that they draw I was under the impression that these extras would count towards dreamlite Valley tasks but after some testing I was able to determine that they do not count towards those task completions I would spend time avoiding harvesting herbs or other things because I wanted to wait until I had a character with me that was going to give me that extra item but in reality there's not really a need to do that knowing this helped me streamline my processes and now I I mostly have a character with me who specializes in mining so that I can get those extra gems in War I don't have to waste time running around and swapping out characters that wraps up today's video if there's anything that I missed regarding these topics go ahead and comment down below and let me know and if you would like to return for more videos please don't forget to subscribe before you head out until next time thank you so much for watching and happy gaming friends
