I WENT AMISH?!?!

hello everybody welcome back to the channel today is July 14th and today is going to be a completely different video today I am at Frank's grandparents house and his grandparents are Amish and for the past three years we've been coming down here and spending a couple days with them and it's pretty fun so I better take this hat off here and put on my my straw hat so Frank's parents actually were both Amish growing up and this is Frank's dad's parents place and they're actually still Amish right now so Frank why don't you tell us a little bit about what Amish is so like I said we've been coming down here for the past three years with my brother and Frank and this is why it's first year coming down here you enjoy it so far yeah yup so this is our first day here we got down here about four hours ago and just been hanging out and we're in the barn here right now and just on the other side of that wall there is the shop and we set our air mattresses up in there and that's where we're gonna be sleeping so I'm in the shop here like I said we have our air mattresses set up in here when we did bring a gas generator power some box fans and our phone chargers because we would be absolutely miserable without those things and what I'm really excited about this trip coming down here is we have to do chores for Frank's cousin who is also Amish and I get to milk the cow by hand tonight so I'm pretty excited about that and stay tuned for that all right so made the Frank's cousin's place here we're down by the barn and we're bringing up the cow little Jersey over there Frank what'd you do just a jokester hi hey it's okay it's okay okay hey who are you if you want to do the Frog ones those are easier than I can get the back ones okay I think we should let the tail loose in here I don't know if I can do this every day well I got the milk of Kyle with the Amish for the first time today but I'll turn it back over to Frank's grandma she's a pearl she can knock a lot faster than me but now we're going into the chicken coop and we're gonna get some eggs I mean bird how many eggs we got so we just got done doing chores here at Frank's cousin's place here and we drove his grandma and grandpa over here I mean Frankton just so they didn't have to bring their horse and buggy over and they're gonna be spending the night over here so we'll pick them up tomorrow morning yeah he's in the back we don't have very far to go so it's okay so we have their place to ourself tonight and then we'll pick them up tomorrow morning she knows he's gonna get it ain't no he was son its wine in his movie so we're back here at Frank's grandparents house Frank's on his way I'm just gonna give you a quick tour around the place here so for all the Amish houses I've been in they are all pretty much laid out the same as this right here so I'm just gonna take you in the first level of the house here and tell you what it's like so as you guys can see there are no lights on the ceiling there is no light pictures in this house there's gas lamps scattered around the house this is the stove they use I'm your princess it's called there's a table right here and a lot of really nice woodwork cabinets every Amish house that I've been in has blue doors and blue trim and I think that's how they all are I'm not sure so yeah it's pretty cool as we go this way through the house here's another door and another dog this store goes outside and through here here's their washing machine and there's a gas motor outside that they used to wash their clothes and this I believe is how they heat up their water so they can roll the bathtub out and they can take baths and in here you guys are gonna like this this is the bathroom the outhouse is connected to the house look at that it's a two-seater outhouse and it's a two-seater also down this hallway is the wood room this is what they used to heat the house they have a wood stove and that's pretty much it from the main level and that's all I'm gonna show cuz I don't want to invade their privacy too much I do have permission to be recording in the house but this is all I'm gonna show you guys before we go to the barn and tour that let's do a dog to her this is buddy he's a puppy and this they just got him so this is my first time seeing him here so far he's been kind of a pain yeah this is misty hi misty how are you yeah I'm good papi this is Trixie hi Trek say hi hi yeah yeah this is my eat hi Mikey hi buddy and this here is Walker Frank's grandparents actually think that he is part coyote because he's very skittish and he behaves and acts and he runs like a coyote and this is the first time I've seen him wag his tail in a long time he's kind of he's kind of scared he's likes to be alone he Titan in the chicken coop right now but yeah now let's go toward the barn go get him go get him this is actually very strange Walker's actually following me you can see buddy is picking on him and Walker doesn't know how to fight back so that's why he likes to hide in the chicken coop buddy I'll beat you up again don't you quit that well this is really weird guys Walker followed me right into where we're sleeping he's been alone the chicken coop the whole time we're here and now he just followed me out and he's happy wagging his tail but as you guys know this is where we're sleeping we got our air mattress to set up through this door we have it's a feed room there's a freezer right here full oats and just a bunch of other bags of feed and then through this door we have three horse stalls one here and then to here there's only two horses there's only two horses here our first year coming down here there was three horses but they ended up selling one so they only have two horses now and then continuing there's the buggy right here another buggy and then a wagon that they can use for horses to pull and then it just got some hay in here this is what a buggy looks like so the horse will be him between here and it's all harnessed up a buggy has pretty good suspension for a nice smooth ride and you can see y'all hung on the wall right here all the horse harnesses they use and then this front part of the barn is where he's got all his tools and whatever but we don't need to go on there because I don't want to invade their privacy too much like I said but what I will do is climb the windmill right there and give you an aerial view of the place okay guys so I'm about four or five steps from the top of the windmill here and that's high enough for me that's high enough to just be hanging on with one arm I'll just give you a little panoramic view from up here all right it's time to go back down we bring our pellet and BB guns out every year and hands down there so that's what we're doing right now was trying to pass some time okay guys so it's our last day we're getting packed up ready to leave here I really don't know what this video was going to amount to but I hope you enjoyed it anyway said I hope you've learned something about the Amish whether it's something you didn't know already or whether you didn't know about the Amish in general but I had a good time as usual and I know
