RIP Frankie Knuckles
I grew up in the very first days of βillegalβ Raves in the UK. Thereβs be whispers, youβd finally find someone who had a phone number, youβd then meet somewhere in the middle of nowhere and join a convoy of vehicles to an abandoned warehouse. Then youβd have the night of your life with amazing music and meet amazing people. Good times.
House music all night long!
As a modern house producer/DJ, this was so fascinating to watch. I had an idea it emerged from Chicago with Frankie knuckles but wasn't aware the deep culture that existed in a time it was much needed! Thanks for sharing!!
