I Was STRANDED For 100 Days In A Minecraft Desert!

i'm gonna spend the next 100 days in minecraft hardcore mode stranded in a desert i don't even think the deserts have trees in minecraft okay so this is where our journey begins you could see this is the edge of the desert right here i'm in hardcore mode i'm not allowed to cross this area i'm gonna have to find a village and probably steal like a crafting table from a villager oh my gosh this is gonna be a lot harder than i thought i'm also gonna have to find a way to make a base before night time because this is hardcore mode so if i die the game's absolutely over and the video ends okay so there's a cave down there oh and there's actually iron okay so once i'm able to somehow get a pickaxe i should be able to come back to this area and get some iron and cobblestone and make a base i finally found a village i don't even think this is really a desert village because half of it's kind of on the grass but you know what i'm allowed to go in the buildings that are surrounded by desert because i'll still consider that to be a desert village okay please tell me that you have at least something no they've got a bed which is good they don't have a crafting table you know what i should probably just keep the bed in here and sleep here instead of having to make a base that would actually be kind of smart i'm not allowed to mine or chop down these trees because that would be cheating but technically this village is still surrounded by sand please have a crafting table no can oh my gosh do none of these guys have crafting tables come on no another bed what the heck man crafting table no all right this is the last house i've checked oh they actually do have a crafting table oh my gosh okay this entire video was about to be ruined if i couldn't find a crafting table oh i don't know how i'm gonna get cobblestone without wood okay i have an idea and you guys are not gonna like it i'm gonna try to kill this golem with a stick he's walked over onto the sand spot so you know what if i kill the golem with a stick maybe he'll drop some iron oh my gosh he's really strong this is not going well this is not going well this is not going well what if i go up on some hay bales hopefully he can't reach me from here but maybe i could still hit him with a stick oh this might actually work oh this might actually work come on i'm sorry gollum you look like a really nice guy but i need some iron so i can make some tools can i hit him with a cactus okay i don't know if i'm able to kill him oh oh i actually killed him okay i didn't think that was gonna work i thought maybe you couldn't kill gollums with sticks i don't know okay so now i got three things of ironing it's you know what it is nighttime so we're gonna sleep in one of these houses so we don't die i got sticks i got iron ingots the only thing i need is kind of food you know what before i get killed by a mob let me see if there's anything done growing here this looks like it might be done growing nope it's just seeds i can't eat seeds brandon there's a zombie already son of a nutcracker uh let's go in here is there a bed yes there is there's a stupid villager sleeping in here get out of my bed so now i should be able to craft well now the question is what do i want to make i have to make a pickaxe i have to make a pickaxe so i could get cobblestone okay i have myself an iron pickaxe i think this is the first time i've ever gotten an iron pickaxe before getting a cobblestone pickaxe but i will not complain about that let me get my crafting table okay now let's go back deep into the desert and get ourselves some cobblestone oh you know what i need some food i feel like i can make something out of hay bales yes okay i can make wheat and then i should be able to turn wheat into dough and then dough into bread i was being dumb i didn't even need dough i just needed the wheat okay so you know we're gonna get as many hay bales as we can and we're just gonna be making a ton of bread so you know what the good thing is i'm not gonna have to kill any animals for for meat which is kind of nice i've got 12 loaves of bread which i need right now because my hearts are low and my hunger is high okay here's that like little cave area that i found earlier so there's actually iron right here too which is good oh and cold all right sweet this is a good spot i'm mining my first cobblestone which is kind of embarrassing to admit you know what i think i'm gonna do for the first couple nights i know this is kinda cheating but not really i think i'm just gonna sleep in that village i'm not gonna worry about building a base yet because that's gonna take too much time and too many resources i'm just gonna try to get as much cobblestone as much coal and get myself in a good spot and just sleep in the villagers bed okay it's day four i keep going back and forth to this cave i have gotten so much iron look at this i have 15 things of iron 23 things of coal and i keep using some cobblestone but i have 64 29 i've gotten a ton of resources from this cave and there's actually more so you know what i'm definitely gonna come back here so let's go back i'm just using let's name them bob i've just been using bob's house as my base but i'm gonna build my own base in a couple days i'm gonna start making some iron uh let's make a chest plate i feel like that's wasting a lot of iron but i feel like i'm gonna need that and then we're gonna save the rest of the iron just in case i need something else okay so let's equip the chest plate oh and it looks like some of this garden is done growing wait maybe what is that what did i just get i got a root can i eat a beet root i don't even know exactly what a beet root is maybe i can eat it maybe i can't i'm not exactly sure you know what i think i'm gonna do i'm gonna make a base out of like glass and sandstone i feel like that'll be a really cool base i can make like the world's largest sand castle in minecraft bob will you get your butt out of the way oh my gosh don't make me kill you with a shovel i will do it okay how do i make sandstone again i'm such a minecraft noob uh that's what it is okay oh this is gonna take a long time to make enough sandstone all of the sand i just dug up i only got 22 blocks of sandstone well that's okay and let me start making some glass while i'm here too okay let's do that and let's do that let's go get some more sand one eternity later all right it's like day 10 11 what are we on uh day 12 this entire thing was a giant sand mountain now basically it's sitting in my inventory so what i'm gonna do is convert all of this to glass and sandstone then i'm gonna build my own base i'm gonna make myself a bucket i'm gonna steal their water steal some of their dirt and then build my own garden outside of my house so that way i can have my own crops or these potatoes all right i got a ton of sandstone this should be enough for a base it's gonna be a really small base but i can add to it over time i'm sorry bob but you're not exactly gonna have a door anymore uh it's my fault i needed it for my base sorry about that buddy i i'm really sorry but i have to do this my man okay so let's steal some water i should make one more bucket so then i could have an infinite supply of water sorry about this bob oh there's some carrots here oh i could definitely use carrots i think i got some potatoes this is fantastic i'm not even gonna you know what bob i'm not even gonna steal all your dirt i'm just gonna steal most of your dirt yeah i'm gonna leave him with water and some oh gosh he is not happy with me sorry about that buddy okay let's go on our journey and find where we want to build our base okay i would consider this the middle of nowhere especially considering the floating block of sand you know you're in the middle of nowhere when there's floating blocks of sand okay i'm done with the walls i have 48 things of sandstone to build a roof and i still have six things of glass too i might want to put a little sky roof in there yes we have built our base i want to go outside really quickly and just see what it looks like from the outside without getting killed this is actually pretty cool all right it's day 13 of course there's some creepers right there i do not want them to blow me up so let's put one thing of water there and then i know i have another water bucket here i have an infinite supply of water so you know what let me make a garden i'm gonna be honest i should have stole more dirt from bob i was just being a nice guy i didn't want to steal everything he had in his life so we've got ourselves a garden that's not terrible it's a pretty serviceable garden i want to get some more dirt later but i'll steal that from bob in another day i'm going to build i mean this base is big enough i'm going to build a mine right in here i mean i love the sandstone here we go okay so we finally hit some cobblestone this is where my mind's gonna be so this is called the official indoor desert frustrated mine so basically i can go to sleep i can come back out here i can get to my crafting table my furnaces and i can also get to my mind all right it's day 20. that was actually a really really successful trip i got 17 things of iron i got a ton of cobblestone and a ton of other stuff okay it's day 27 i was doing a little farming off camera and it's the next morning so i got my iron here you know what i think i'm gonna make iron i'm gonna make an iron helmet to give me a little bit more protection and i'm actually gonna make an iron sword i'm gonna start looking for some stuff maybe there's another village maybe there's like a broken like nether portal or something like that maybe there's lava which i have my two buckets because eventually i want to go to the nether in this game just because i know how dumb i am and i'm gonna get lost and not be able to find my base i'm gonna build a little tower here okay so now if i look up my base kind of sticks out like a sore thumb all right it's day 28 i've got my giant tower so hopefully i won't lose my base let's go out on an expedition in the middle of nowhere oh oh i finally found iron or not iron i finally found lava i can't even speak i'm so tired okay it's like day 29 or 30 or something like that so i got two things of buckets okay i am so far away from my base i can't even see it in the sky okay so it's day 30 or i guess night 32 or 33 something like that i actually see what i think is a broken nether portal over there but i also found a village like an actual sand village oh hey there zombie you know what i haven't killed a zombie yet and i do have some armor and a diamond sword or a iron sword so i should be able to kill him pretty easily die yes i have advanced to the monster hunter age and it's only been 30 days oh hey bales yes okay you know what i'm gonna break into one of these guys houses sleep the night and then get a ton of hay bales literally they're sleeping in both beds oh and they got a chest oh yeah is there anything in the chest bread oh yes i got a clay ball i don't what jeez is he in here that was really loud okay well you know what why did he let him in that is not why would you let him in you jerk faces oh my gosh they almost got me killed let me go to sleep these have got to be the dumbest villagers i've ever seen in my life yes i'm talking to you i'm gonna name you uh billy i liked bob so much better than billy okay let's steal everything that he has in this chest uh actually you know what i don't need some of this stuff let's and you know what we're gonna steal the chest too oh this has been like the most successful day uh in the entire video so far oh baby hopefully there's something good in this chest sometimes there are oh my gosh we've got a golden sword we've got a golden shovel oh jeez well you know what i'm just gonna get rid of my cobblestone shovel we've got a ton of flint and steel we've got obsidian what do i not need forget about these beetroot seeds and forget about the rabbit high it's day 37. let's try to find our way back to my base but i have no idea how far i've gone it's night time on day 43 oh there's a darn uh there's skeletons all over the place this is so bad i found another broken uh nether portal which is actually kind of cool but oh my gosh there are there are the mobs everywhere there are mobs everywhere you know what i'm going to do this is the cowardly approach i do not want to fight these mobs i am just going to put some sandstone above me and i am going to sit in darkness the entire night there is a chest so hopefully there's another you know something good or two in there oh a golden apple uh a fire charge iron nuggets and another golden sword this is actually really good oh oh i actually see it i actually see it okay i literally i don't know how many days it's been like what is it day i think it's day 48 yeah it's day 48 i have finally found my base thank god i made that giant tower or else i don't think i ever would have found it all right it's day 63 and i have officially hit bedrock so i actually found gold i found a good amount of iron and obviously a ton of cobblestone i still haven't found any diamonds i think i'm probably too low to find diamonds now and then over here i built a massive mine by the way over here i actually found some lava which you know what i'm actually gonna plug up just in case i fall into it oh wait do i have my bucket with me i might be able to get enough lava this way so i could make my nether portal wait will this zombie attack me if i go outside yep of course he will of course the desert zombies attack me even during the day that one's got armor on it okay this is bad this is bad you know what let me fill my bucket i put the water on one side the lava on the other we have ourselves obsidian okay and if i put it here there beautiful so we have two blocks of obsidian out here i think i got two blocks of obsidian from those um broken nether portals so we've got four things of obsidian i think we need nine in total let me go back down and collect some more lava and there okay so now i have one two three four five six and i have two in my chest why is there a llama on my roof excuse me can you guys get off my roof okay i'm back up and there so now i should have enough obsidian to make the portal i'm good i'm going down and i'm not coming out until i find diamonds let me make a couple more pickaxes all right it's day 70 what is it day 71 i read online that the best way to get diamonds is to go down to level six i found redstone i mean that's kind of cool i hear waters ah there's more darn lava i keep getting stuck with lava but i'm hearing water which makes me think i'm getting close to like some sort of an underground cave okay i finally found a way into this cave i was literally trying to dig through a giant lava pit oh there's a lot of obsidian there too i don't see any diamonds yet i do not want to fall in here oh oh there's diamonds there's diamonds oh my gosh we've actually done it what day is it it literally took me it's day 80. it took me 80 days to find diamonds in minecraft this has been a brutal brutal process i'm literally sweating it's so hot in here i do have my iron pickaxe hopefully there's more than just two i see three okay we have moved on to the diamond age uh okay four five please be six it looks like there was just five you know what that's fine oh my gosh i did not think i was gonna make it do i still have that i still have the llama on the roof you know what at this point i gotta name them it's edgar it looks like edgar the llama okay you know what is it nighttime or morning i can't really tell this is gonna take a long time to mine all of this but this will work it's literally 10. oh my gosh i'm being so dumb i don't know why i thought it was nine that doesn't really make any sense anyway all right we need to go down and get one more thing of lava my farm's doing pretty well though let's actually collect all our crops and see how much i've gotten all right it's day uh 93 i got one more thing of lava so that should be okay let's just you know what i'm just gonna plop it right in the water i don't even care at this point right there okay i think that's a full nether portal and i actually think i got flint and steel from one of those villages earlier yes i did oh sweet okay sweet so now we should be able to light this thing three two one huh yes i've got my baked potatoes i've got my armor here we go we have made it to the nether whoa wait what is is this like an update why why does this stuff look different i don't remember this stuff wait well i want to check my recipe book this is oh basalt maybe i just like spawned in like a really cool seed i actually don't know what it is i was messing around in the mine so it's actually almost day 100 right now uh let's go explore oh my gosh this is a horrible spot to spawn no no no i'm gonna die i'm gonna die i'm gonna die i'm gonna die brandon don't be stupid don't be stupid don't be stupid no no what day was it what day was it please tell me it was day 100 it
