Howdy Folks how are we doing now the day has arrived we're going to shop blast the uh the tri-axle trailer so that's going to be shop blasted ready for painting and I've got um the Irish company applied Concepts are doing it and they've provided one of their very amount 350 uh tractor mounted PTO driven compressors obviously she's on the old t-dub should be out of power I think it takes about roughly about 100 horsepower one of these so it's a fair old lump but TW should purr on it um the very amount means um obviously you can go front mounted so with the front BTO and obviously rear mount recip TW is you know Darren with the MTX um now he bought this Macho flower a little while ago and um he's getting that um shot blast and he's going to paint that as well obviously because you can see it's it's all faded it's not in the best of Nick but shop blasted and painted that will look a trick so that is getting done as well but uh yeah trailer is going to be done [Applause] part of the operation [Music] it was balled up to you know maximum rpm really I mean all the noise you can hear you see that with that is running so quietly [Music] I might experienced some shoplifting with using a system similar to this yeah the same sort of principle but only like a 20 liter pot for the standard tow behind hydrovain I'm not sure how many CFM it was but not as much as that that's putting out 350 CFM that one the difference is the amount of work you can get through now what I was used to before is you'd probably be working probably like a Penny like about 10 mil at a time so not a lot so just to do the top of this trailer so you've only got the chassis rails the six bits of Checker and that that would take a day or more but this thing it's still inside it has 100 ml at a time huge amount he's done done that session I've done that plate already absolutely phenomenal work right Sam says this this one this trainer will take roughly about an hour an hour a 2 000 gallon tanker one over there for a 2 000 gallon one 40 minutes [Music] thank you really saw an aqua blasting 100 and that runs off the water as well as water to the grip so what that means you don't get any dust but I can hear you now well what about you know you're only water to the metal you've cleaned so it's going to be rusty I don't know because what you do is you add this to the water it's a rust inhibitor going to deployed you know they Supply it as well as well as all the kit so this obviously performing so you get you know a few days straight after blasting to get a coat of primer on so just doing a refill now it's not sand we'll have a look at this second we'll see what it is but it's not sand it's not petrol it's the type of glass basically grind down really finely but look I mean must have been going about what the grip we're using is actually recycled glass and you can see that in it with the different colors the greens the brown and the clear and the good thing with age is it's not toxic there's no silica to it um there's no you know there's no dangerous properties to it at all so you can blast it I mean obviously there's no dust for this system anyway because of the water but you know obviously all this silica worlds no not silica can end up on the floor but it doesn't matter it's not harming anything so this is just mixed in with the soil and be fine look at that fresh metal sounds really cracking on with it now side rails are done just on the back end now on the bumper look at that I love it [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] all right [Applause] I love what you're thinking how much is that system going to cost me well about 20 grand All In the presser history is about another five so a lot of money but there's a lot of things that obviously that holds the vein a bit harder back pressure can do you get the Sound Blaster you can do this job thousand pound a day you can charge if you want you can blow kit down with it if you're running slowly umbilical blow your voice out with it and that is easily man enough to blow out like a 2K pipe run uphill so that's the thing with the smaller compressors they can struggle with it but that one 350 CFM that's as well air coming out of that point oh that's nozzle it's potent foreign [Music] [Music] is foreign [Applause] [Music] [Music] shouldn't take long at all things downstairs at a thousand RPM because she's running around a thousand easy like but you know she's blacked out so this is in a thousand you can get a bit more air out of the compressor as well but you know it's just there's plenty there plenty there foreign foreign [Music] [Applause] okay so there's absolutely no electronics at all going to answer nothing fully pneumatic so when you open that ball valve you're dropping pressure obviously the throttle body then will kick open and the more you open the boiler valves the more Airship the more air comes through yeah and she has none return valve which is very very important for umbilical story last year coming back there no yeah that would be bad yes that could be bad and it's very heavy and it comes back down and has room compressors yeah we have one here and we've a little expansion back so it does happen very easy to clean it up yeah yeah um double duplex chain here behind the chain drawers rather than built exactly and nice simple chain lube from like that you do your chainsaw that way yeah yeah yeah yeah so you ain't got to worry about that just keep it topped up she's a very very simple machine you haven't gone down the electronics route but no no when you over complicate things it's just unnecessary as they break down exactly exactly now who is this all your own stuff in here you you make the air ends we we obviously we buy these in yeah and they come from Italy they need an Italian that way even going as far as our hoses these come from an Irish manufacturer I mean yes yes now with the smaller one coming it's going to be the 75 shorter width-wise and lengthwise and then you're talking probably 700-ish kilos oh so yeah a lot yeah a lot much more capable for the little tractor lock yeah exactly yeah exactly UK launches looking at end of the year end of the year yeah yeah we're gonna have a prototype that we should have it available at the plowing temperatures all right yeah our wet glassing machine sorry [Applause] so this not adjust the water pressure but the air going to the water okay yeah yeah so you can turn it up for washing that way turn it down sourceless and obviously you could if you had just abrasive switched in you'd be dry blasting only so that's all you've got to do Bang Yeah and then that's destroyed right yep yep bang that's water as well exactly and you turn the 2DS off and then you've just aircraft it's got air coming out for cleaning off exactly it's so simple I mean 20 30 years nobody's taught okay let's put switches on the valve yeah turn them on and off yeah and it's so simple you saw it when you're a glass yeah yeah just trying to bang away you go a lot yes so easy we have a regulator on the side here okay so you could do turn it down yeah lower pressure yeah so let's say you had aluminum siding on the truck yeah yeah this would annihilate yeah [Applause] lovely quarter panel and an mg or that you don't want to go away it wouldn't exist anymore exactly so you turn it down a bit of tree [Applause] abrasive you can use First Class it's cheap and cheerful yep I think you were saying about 180 pounds yeah available Midlands yeah across the UK 1995 yep um and we we used roughly I'd say about a tons goes enough a long way yeah yeah of course these these machines yes they're manufactured and aren't in that way but they're available all across the UK everywhere in the west Netherlands yes see what suits you a lot yeah yeah absolutely yeah yeah today yeah I know that like I think you love the finish on that that is North finishing it you wouldn't get that with anything else would you it's like a fine sandpaper thanks a lot Sam for that Alistair thank you very much that was uh my pleasure a good experience for it and uh yeah hotel either going in the future at some point you never know when you're in America yeah that would be great that'd be great yeah thank you
