I turned MINECRAFT into MINECRAFT 2 with TONS OF MODS!?!

so Minecraft recently announced the new name of the recent update that's about to drop the tricky trials update and like everyone on the internet people are making jokes before the name actually got announced well apparently when I do it uh yeah Minecraft decides to block me on platforms so because they decided to block me I thought I'd Spike them you know what the tricky trials update that's exciting but how about Minecraft 2 oh crap broke something that's right guys we're going to change Minecraft from looking like this it does something a lot more beautiful with a lot more features that I think everyone has always wanted and even some I bet you didn't even know you needed so hey guys in Minecraft if if you're seeing this or Mojang or Microsoft if you even do see this please know it's a joke I I don't mind you blocking me genuinely I I think it's hilarious so with all that said let's jump into actually turning this game into what I think Minecraft 2 should be now when you imagine sequels for the most part you like to think graphical upgrade and in my opinion that's going to be the hardest thing to do with Minecraft Minecraft has a unique Style about it when I go to my nearby Target I want to be able to walk up to the toy aisle see a Minecraft diamond sword and go that's a Minecraft diamond sword and I don't think that needs to change very much however there are some things we can do to make the update or should I say Minecraft 2 better for example am I the only person that when I see the Minecraft trailers kind of wish Minecraft looked like the trailers I mean the trailers just have so much life to them the lighting is beautiful the animations you see each character do is amazing so I think the first thing we're going to do is make the game look well well like that now the best way to do that luckily has already been done for us all we need to do is add the barebones resource pack which as you can see just automatically makes it look like the trailer I mean even without shaders it's pretty close and then alongside that we are going to add fresh animations which just changes every single mob in the game to pretty much have the little subtle animations that you see in the Minecraft trailers basically bringing a bit more life to each of the mobs and of course you add the Bare Bones X fresh animations to make sure they work together now that's not where we're going to end it because you see in the trailers there's also another thing that changes that not many people point out and that's the player so we're also going to add fresh moves which basically changes the player's animation to just make it look a little bit more like the trailers and also add a little bit of eye movement now if you're not a fan of this there are two versions of this installed one with all the different animations but no customize and another with all the animations and the customize so you can freely choose for whichever one you want yourself alongside that we're also going to update the Bare Bones extra pack by actually adding in this the Bare Bones with flux enhanced add-on which basically just changes all the trees nearby to have this SE through effect so they're not these solid colors now already with all of that stuff added we can see our player is way more expressive I mean I even look very different like look at this my eyes change and I have eyebrows oh what my hair's also different oh this is so weird but the whole environment around us looks completely different yet there is still one thing missing that the trailer has just so happened to have of course I'm talking about shaders so uh let's quickly uh just add those shall we surprisingly shaders is actually a really tough thing to do so I've added a bunch of them for whatever runs better on your computer now just know this whole mod pack will work with no shaders it's just it does look way better with shaders so if you have a lowend PC don't worry we have added the makeup Ultra fast which adds shaders to the game but it also keeps it in that Minecraft style as we can see here and just allows it to have the shaders alongside all the extra things and it runs really well on weaker End Hardware however if you have a bit more of a let's say a girthy PC yo send it to me in my damn snow pause then of course we have complimentary shaders which a lot of people like to use opal shaders which just adds a little bit more of a unique look to the shaders super duper vanilla shaders which is probably the closest and most accurate one to what the trailers look like in my opinion but probably the best Shader and the one I recommend if you can run almost anything on your PC is the one I'm going to stick with of course and I mean automatically once all those have been added this it looks stunning however I'm sure you guys are wondering what Shader did I add that I think is probably perfect and the best to sell the Minecraft 2 gimmick I'm of course talking about rethinking voxels if you've never seen or even heard of rethinking voxels let me show you some of the cool things it does firstly when I'm holding a torch you might notice if I place down this torch somewhere you can see that the lighting behaves a little differently to how it does in other Shader packs if you don't quite know uh let's quickly do a side by side here's what it looks like in rethinking boxel and here's what it looks like in complimentary shaders it is such a subtle difference but you can see how the Shadows actually kind of get affected by the blocks that are around them now that's not all it does well if I just so happen to replace this torch with say a soul lann you can already tell it actually gives off a blue tinted light and this light changes depending on what blocks are near it which is sick it goes all the way up to Nether Portals so Nether Portals actually give off purple glows which unfortunately not many Shader packs do like in complimentary shaders it still looks stunning but the purple glow in rethinking voxels just sells it so much more would you prefer this or this like come on come on you know I just saying now I'm not going to lie to you guys there are some bugs first of all if you see me moving around a bit you can see my character gives off a weird ghostly effect and there are also a lot of Shadows jumping around on my character yes I know those bugs do exist however I think it's just a cool sacrifice in order to get probably the closest thing to what the actual game trailers look like now I could call it there and um clearly you can tell I didn't I could easily call it there and say Minecraft 2 it's Minecraft but with better graphics but no there is a lot more we've added matter of fact let's uh let's start rounding them off shall we starting off with probably the first thing you see when you load the game the main menu now this menu in my opinion I think it's pretty much perfect for Minecraft you don't need to change it much but if we're making Minecraft two there is one thing we need to change so all I've done for this menu is well simplified a few things by actually just removing the mods tab because you want this to feel like Minecraft 2 but I am going to still let you know it is the modded Edition and of course we can see it says Minecraft 2 right here wait there's a sequel obviously this load screen I think is again perfect but it seems to be missing something we've changed it so it actually displays different tips that could help you in the game when you're loading into the world that not all Minecraft players might know which is just cool Bedrock does that why does it moot like why does it vanilla or should I say Java Edition yeah I've got to get used to saying that but now that we've gotten the non- ingame stuff out of the way what stuff in Minecraft can we change that would be worthy to change for a Minecraft 2 update keite viewers may have noticed we do have one thing being the physics mod I didn't want to fully take away the aspect of Minecraft so we've had it stick to the basic pixel break style however with this AO installed we can see the ocean now has waves to it not like basic Shader waves no I'll grab a boat real quick we can see first of all the new custom animations are applying to our character but because we're now at C the ocean actually has like physics to it so when we go off any waves and stuff like that our boat will actually get a little bit of air time something very subtle but I feel like something a sequel would definitely add another big thing that I think Minecraft needs to change is the combat so I've added the better combat mod to go along with that adding brand new animations which fit in for the whole style change which also do appear in first person and help you with the attack indicator so you can actually tell when you can swing your sword again as you can see it resets when the attack indicator resets and if we fully sell this right now if I spawn a zombie in you might see yeah uh the zombie doesn't just spawn normally it actually shows up out of the ground so now when you're fighting mobs it looks a lot more dramatic there we go oh crap I didn't know they broke into different pieces but now uh there are a lot of mods matter of fact there are nearly 70 mods installed so uh let's quickly list off the ones that I have added which we don't really need to do a full Showcase of we have better achievements which just changes the achievement system in Minecraft so even if you play Minecraft originally all the achievements have now been slightly changed so it's worth jumping back in and seeing if you can go for all the different achievements making achievements better and funner to go for you can also see even though we are running in an older version of Minecraft yeah we do have uh we do have some of the newer stuff as well and to go alongside the achievements if you so happen to get a good achievement you can see there are now achievement plaques making the achievements feel way more rewarding it's not just a little popup that appears in chat also zombie can you can you go away yeah um yeah no but buddy go away we also added another mod which is better archaeology so more things related to archaeology and all the different things of the game will spawn around the world now and that also includes brand new items that you can actually find while doing archaeology for example you might be lucky enough to actually come across something let's see if we can find anything cool here that's new so far uh it doesn't look like it what what is this just a bone oh come on but while doing archaeology you might even be able to find structures so you can build different things that relate to different mobs in the game as you can see here we have this creeper skeleton we of course can even find a villager skeleton if you want to and you can even find uh this thing I don't know what this is and I feel it's just a cool add-on to the archeaology system that's already in the game now another big thing if we ever did get another Minecraft that people have been requesting for so long now I feel like Mojang is just refusing to add it because they hate us at this point we of course have slabs but uh people for the longest time have also wanted vertical slabs so uh there you go vertical slabs yeah just just like that so now you can uh build some cool different things if you ever what a different window Style on let's uh I know I'm not really showing a a a bank of building right now but there we go just like that an illegal block wow crazy a we're breaking minecraft no come on it's just the vertical it's just a slab but on its side it's not that difficult sorry I just got to take in for a moment the shaders here this is this is gorgeous this looks so pretty another simple thing have seen Steve and Alex do in the trailers is they've been able to go up to like chests and things like that and um yeah pick them up you know carry the chest around yeah we added that too other simple changes like if you hold down shift on a new piece of armor you can see what you currently have equipped and compare it to the item that you would want and uh yeah that basically you can see that this netherite chest plate is better than the diamond and we can do it vice versa another simple feature as well with the physics mod doors now have really cool animations but as you can also see I'm right clicking one door it's opening both the double doors but if I only want to open one I just shift right click that door and just like that I can open one door want to open both there we go and it shuts all of them around the side same thing can be applied to trap doors as you can see here shut that one bang both of them Clos one to open one hold shift also yeah the animation that is so nice it's so cool we have some other small things like there being more Shields you can craft Minecraft dungeons have now received an update making them look a little bit better and I mean with the shaders bro come on that that you cannot say this does not look cool if you just so happen to to walk past some Redstone at the time I mean dude oh lighting just makes this so dope I mean just look at the lava as well it looks like it's actually giving off heat you see the glow above there you go over and there's this glowing lava beneath you that I mean you can't make this up bro you can't make this up even glow Vines now actually look really freaking cool in caves seeing this this is oh man this is absolutely making me moist right now another simple thing we've added is you can now when you go up to a crafting table as you can see I want to make this sword well Boom the actual display appears there as well so you can leave your items in the crafting table and people can see what actually is going to appear there which I already know some really creative people are probably going to do cool stuff with this what's that you have a shop on your server and you want to show the item that you're trying to sell just like that done there you go it's displaying people can't break it or anything that that's cool then once you have your item crafted you can also maybe go over to an enchantment table and uh if you wanted to Chuck it in there and you can actually see the enchantments you will get or for Five experience I can roll the enchantments that are appearing so roll that I don't really like this I do like the knockback but don't want that uh you know I'll get sharpness there we go and you know what I don't just want sharpness oh I also forgot yeah it also appears here as well you can see and yes before you ask the lapis also appears around the sword as well which is just cool but then last thing we also added is say you want to enchant it with an extra book we can add this together on the enchantment table not enchantment table on the Anvil and just like that we've got ourself a better diamond sword which we can use in our better combat as well now some of the other simple things we have are when you break stuff as you can see my inventory down below it appears with this little icon next to it showing me it's a brand new item I've picked up so anything you mine and you can't or maybe get from a dungeon and you can't tell what it is that's new you can now see in your inventory what's the new stuff because it has that little check mark right next to it we've also added the ascential mod so now if you want oh well I need to update it but if you don't know what essential is long story short you can add your friends on essential send them invites and you no longer have to host land worlds you can now actually just invite your friends to your world and they can join you so you don't need to host any servers or anything and to go alongside that we've also added a mod so you have to change the config what the button is in the controls tab but if you uh click the extra button on the side of your mouse you can now ping an area and other players can see the area you've pinged you can do it a few times as you can see here and they'll only stay for a few seconds if we watch them for a little bit this one in a few seconds will hope hopefully there we go vanishes just like that there's also other subtle animations like items now breaking when you eat them as you can see there they're just falling apart in my hand so cool when you look at a map now you actually are looking at the map in third person as well and when you climb a ladder your character actually climbs the ladder all of these animations have been added to go alongside the different animations that have been added with the fresh animations mod just making the game feel a bit more alive and also trying to get it to be more like the trailers but guys that is pretty much it I say pretty much this is a huge mod pack I'd be here for ages showing you every single in-depth thing about every single mod we've added but I'm going to end on this we have added one more thing to the elytra which I know a lot of you might not want to see but it makes the elytra so much funner when you fly with the elytra now um yeah you can actually tilt yourself oh I'm I'm lagging a little bit why am I lagging so much now but as you can see we have added elytra controls and now you can do barrel rolls okay there we go fly up into the sky do a full Spin and then oh we're falling backwards oh no let's go up and then fall backwards yeah so cool all of this is completely of just built my dream Sequel and I know some of you guys might not like some of the features here but again the mod pack is completely customizable so if there's something that doesn't quite meet
