I Tried Ebay Reselling For 6 Week - Week 1

at the start of this year I gave myself the gold to make money this year the amount I set was £250 3 months into the year I did nothing about that goal that was until I came across this video 80,000 in just one year was that really possible with just eBay reselling I was just about to find out this is my EB reselling Journey okay I've created the EB account it's not as a business account or is it like set up as an actual selling account yet I think while I start I'm not going to buy like a basic shop like domain for myself I'm just going to sell regularly um there was also something called promoter listens which apparently I can't get yet but hopefully in the next few weeks I can get promoted listings so I've set up the account but I've also um set up some spreadsheets this is the first spreadsheet and this one just tracks the profit per day and then on the side at the very end it will track the weekly profit down at the bottom here it shows the sold profit for the whole month it also tracks the listings so this is the second one I made it tracks individual items so there's the date I bought the item the day it's sold uh the purchase price of the item the sold price abas fees Postage and then profit the inventory price is how much I've actually spent on items and then the s all the profit is to how much I made on the item okay for my first listing I've got here games included um CDs more and I'm kind of just going to look through these few piles in the next few days I want to go actually sourcing for Stuff items that are like off value right now if I can just learn how to actually put an item up cuz I haven't sold anything on eBay before I haven't listed item if I can just get some good ones from here I mean there there's quite a lot of um DVDs CDs games if I can find just a few just to make a little bit of profit without actually having to pay for source and the items then that's a win right now also it's quite easy to ship off because I mean that can just go in envelope um these are all the small items as well so I'm trying to find some here okay here's the haul I got from the box there's like a big six uh Movie Box called like Black Ops special ops there's a games there's DS game here uh so we're going to be listing these over the next few days okay the first listing's up this is one of them this was a DS game I found in the box and this was actually worth um about £25 for something that's lying around and I'm not even using it was easier just put up for the background pictures I'm just trying to keep them like white based because they look a bit better and um there's a an option to crop out the background so I've done that on some of them this is a Pokemon card binder which I had lying around so I put this up as well now you're probably wondering how did I actually know what items are good now there's a few ways you can do this but this one's called Google Lens so if I take a picture of an item it shows us the details of it so if I don't know what the item is it ches the name the brand the stuff like that and uh you can also do this on eBay if you take a picture it shows the actual listings that are available but if you go to filter and then sold items these are the ones that have actually been sold recently so this is actually what the actual price is going for what people are buying it for so I thought this is just pretty cool to actually see how valuable something is and how much they'll sell for okay first few listens up I got a neat trick to find how valuable the item is which we just went through so that's the first few things now I did want to actually go out and try and Source some items so tomorrow morning I'm actually going to go for my first sourcing session this is pretty much where you just go out and you try and find items to sell um ones that are like valuable so I'm going to try and do that tomorrow and I'm going to see what I can find okay the first First Source and session at the charity shops came to £21 and I got some pretty good stuff these figures were 50 for the small ones 2 pound for the bigger one I can probably just get a bit more for that this was a German glass I got it for free and this was a 1989 vintage Mickey Mouse plush I got this for £5 and I could probably get it for at least 20 maybe uh but we'll see that's from Walt Disney itself now this is the X5 Hills collector's edition it has all the seasons and a movie I got this for £10 and it's going to turn into about £37 I seen there now this grease DVD I got for free so I thought why not One Tree Hill I heard a lot about Seasons um paying a lot so I got that we got some games for one pound each The Simpsons hitting Run game was actually one but it turns into about 12 to 15 and these Star Wars paytons were free over the next few days I'm going to put these lists up and just wait for something to sell um I'm aiming for about three to five list a day right now just TR and get the algorithm [Music] going okay I just got back from college I checked eBay like halfway through the lesson and we made our first sale it was uh The Sims uh herbs Sims in the city game it'll be up here and it was a DS game so it'll be easy to post off um I'm still adding the other listings up slowly by slowly but with made a first sale it's got for like £15 Plus postage it will be here somewhere really happy about that I just need to post that off now yeah second class tracking pleas right that's perfect thank you all [Music] right okay second time Source items this is what we got we got two shirts some shoes and a rocky box set now I kind of just picked what I thought would be good like this there's a golf shirt on the right there got that for £ this one in the middle now this one's £2 but it's worth like £30 I found a thing on the screen which I'll put up £4 for the shoes and the Laos shoes and the rocky box set maybe I get 13 at the point of recording this video everything is up and listed they actually went souring again and I went to the market this time I got these foot shoes for £88 and I'll probably be able to sell them for what 20 to 30 it's BEC in summer so they should sell quite fast I got this Winnie the Poo cup which came with like a teddy and a key ring I'm pretty sure that it's vintage so I got that for £5 and uh I don't know how much to sell it for honestly this little water cup here that's also vintage and that was 50 and I got some dvdbox sets now the Kate kid one was a cool find um it was three and it's sealed it's completely new the born one that one's also new as well for £3 the other ones were just1 but that wire in the blood actually didn't even have a DVD in so now the big question everyone's going to ask is what has actually sold this week how much money have I earned now I've actually got a few more sales so we sold three items this week the first one being the herb SS in the city now after EB's fees um it was all for 655 after EB's fees it was 1413 now this is without the cost of goods and postage we also got the Simpsons Hit and Run and that was sold for ,760 after ABS fees it's £15 and then the card binder for the Pokémon cards also got sold this week and that was sold for 2349 after ABS 3's 20 profit now after the phas post this C and cost the goods we have a1748 profit £128 an £164 profit one week one sold profit comes to about £ 4140 for the full week but as I said it's sold profit so what this means is it's actually the profit on the items you've actually sold and not the actual cost of everything in my inventory so like all inventory costs but I will talk about this more in the upcoming weeks so that has been week one we've made three sales you've made £ 4140 in profit on top of memory um but trust me you're going to want to keep watching these videos for the next few weeks stuff gets a bit more crazier we get better items more sales more money and we also get some pretty
