I Took Over a Country in Minecraft for 24 Hours and Here's What Happened... | Part 1

so you guys absolutely loved my country video and i enjoyed seeing all your comments about your countries and how well they were doing but it made me realize something a fatal flaw on my part i've yet to actually put the skills in the video to the test obeliskia looks like a children's toy compared to some of the countries you guys are making in your own worlds after all the only citizens were villagers that ended up overthrowing me in the end so i thought while i was floating around up in space that it's time for the real thing that's why in early december i took the skills from that video and i put them to the test on a real country minecraft server that has thousands of active players this is the story of how i overthrew a monarch built an empire got a radio interview on the server's radio show crazy i know how i threatened the world for world domination almost started a world war and the story of a duel that would change the history of the server forever this is the story of how part of the aztec based nation of the hewittka federation in western rathnir for about two weeks at this point the ride so far had been pretty pleasant too i was welcomed into the nation and its capital with open arms in late november i was given a free apartment and a shield with the country's flag and all was well until it came time for constitutional amendments the country's leader tlachawani infinite was interested in changing this up he wanted to turn the country into more of a democracy a constitutional monarchy like canada to be more specific rather than a full-on monarchy that it had been since its founding in mid to late october everyone please stand for the almighty tslatawani infinite anyway infiniik and some other higher up members in the nation wanted voting every month new laws and what the elected prime ministers can and can't do new government positions etc etc etc overall it seemed like infinite wanted to take a step back from being the main guy in charge he would still be the guy in charge but he wouldn't be as in charge as before and the elected prime minister would make most of the decisions now i'm gonna be honest i wasn't a too big of a fan of this the whole new democracy thing with elections every month sucked in my opinion the main reason i didn't like infinix democracy idea was because it meant giving up the powers of the tilatuani and i personally thought that that would mean less efficiency within the nation in my eyes if one person did everything for the government everything would run perfect and exactly to that person's liking everyone would meet your expectations because you are the only one in charge for these reasons and many more i believed that the type of democracy infinic was going for wouldn't work i liked the nation how it was and i believed that infinix plan if it went through would lead to the country's downfall that's why when nobody decided to stand with me on the subject i decided that i was going to be the one to take control and not take control of them get elected but take control as in take control of the entire country before the elections happen all i needed was to wait for the right moment to strike finally after waiting for what seemed like forever the moment finally came infinic had just taken a short vacation and i saw my opportunity as infinite was away he couldn't do anything to stop me all he could do was sit there and watch as i took complete control of the country in just a few short hours i seized complete control of the capital city of telhassel by kicking federation forces off of the island of chicolo and at four o'clock p.m i made my announcement after my announcement was set in stone i watched as people from across the world of rathnir scramble to figure out what happened to the huitka oh we got our first message it seems bruh what an underwhelming reaction for a big event it's so funny look watch it's so funny watching people's reactions as you can all see after i posted the announcement i was quite enjoying myself reading everyone's messages one question that kept on coming up was how did this happen so quickly and the answer to that is that i'm just built different that's how oh okay back to being serious anyway after my announcement i noticed i was contacted by someone from the apollo radio team which is the server's radio show and they were interested in the coupe and they wanted to interview me on the radio show and of course i said yes i didn't realize at the time however that the tlatuani in exile was going to be on the show too but we'll get back to that pretty shortly it was while i was editing my imperium wikipedia page that i noticed a sudden lack of activity on the imperium discord server and i quickly went to investigate i soon figured out that the prime minister of the hewitt federation space being had been organizing an anti-imperium group on another discord server i quickly joined it and their intentions shocked me to say the least it seemed like kyuetka that were against my rule as well as allies from other nations were planning for a full-scale invasion of the capital city of tulahato as soon as possible however since i just infiltrated their operations they quickly abandoned the discord server minutes after i showed up but there was a problem with that that space being didn't realize until after according to vawr law any nation outside of the vawr is not allowed to intervene in a vawr nation's affair or else the vawr will be forced to attack that outside force the information space being was telling everyone was confidential from space being and the vawr's perspective no matter what measures they put through it looked like the world would fall into an all-out war over this coup with the supposed raid of tel haddal on the horizon i waited very patiently for my apollo radio interview to start at six o'clock p.m est finally the interview started and i heard infinix voice for the first time since the coup had begun okay so i accidentally deleted the beginning part of the interview that had all the introductions of everybody all you need to know is that this guy on screen is herb dashwell the host of apollo radio the person in the background that you'll hear sometimes is doreen the mysterious cleaning lady who's not that important to the story but i thought i just mentioned anyway this person is the tilatuanian exile infinic and this guy is uh is me okay it's interview time as i was waiting in the lobby for the interview i was surprised to hear infinix voice he hadn't seemed to notice to me yet though so i thought i'd surprise him do you think that the coup occurred as a direct consequence of your propaganda campaign against isharian authoritarianism propaganda campaign we've never launched any sort of propaganda campaign have you not against the asharians i think you have who are you i'm red fire rex i'm uh i'm the eternal clutton out of here no you are not you're a fake i am not fake you're a fake terrorist i like the fight i'm the leader okay i i'm the leader of infinite we all know i'm the rightful leader okay with the you have the real regime says you you call yourself an employee [Music] the foreign leaders have claimed though that this is just a thinly veiled attempt to join the asharian empire how do you respond to these accusations this is not an attempt to uh join the sharon empire i am just willing to do what infinite could not do and that's to bring hewitka to a great nation that will make a massive input on the world stage i see infinite what are your views on the current uh leader rex's new policies involving foreign affairs and how are they different to yours i have to say uh her they're absolutely horrible and shameful the huica people have been corrupted by him we have always dealt honorably and fairly with all nations of the world and they all know that and now look now he's calling himself an empire what's he gonna do start seizing their land who could be next [Music] did you ever have any acquisitions of land or what political opinions did you have on others after consulting all the huika people we made multiple acquisitions of land but they were all unclaimed territory that was not violating the borders of any other nation we've always dealt peacefully we've always dealt honorably and this usurper he's just lying he will take over your neighbors we have to stop him in my in my opinion infinite you have been manipulating the grand assembly to um to agree to your your radical decision you don't even want a grand assembly that is want to rule for yourself that that that may be true but [Music] i think religious freedom is in the only way for true peace among the people with me as the eternal ruler jesus listen just because you don't have religious freedom doesn't mean that you don't have other freedoms in the league of federation we will soon be the most democratic state in this world safe for actual democracies and we will be removing you imminently also i forgot to mention earlier the interview was broadcasted live on apollo radio on twitch
