I RANKED Every Exotic Weapon for PvE - Best Exotics for Solo Players - Destiny 2 Season of the Deep

hello Guardians it is ebontist and in this video I want to go through and rank every weapon in the Exotic category from a solo PVE player's perspective now I'm going to tell you right now I'm gonna get some of these wrong from other people's perspective there will be comments who think that I got some of these way off and that's totally fine everybody has their opinion I'm gonna have certain weapons that I've leaned towards as favorites just because we all do but this is the sum of the stuff that I feel as the solo player you can find benefits out of stuff that doesn't really stand out or stuff that as I say in one of my categories is just not worth the Exotic slot so that's kind of the goal we're going to start from the bottom up and we're going to go through every exotic weapon in the game and then at the end I'll kind of show you guys my tier list and just kind of a quick scroll as best as I can so here we go we're gonna start with the the ones that I'm gonna say F rank or I'm just going to call these bad weapons for a PVE solo player first one's going to be a Vigilant swing and the main reason I say this is bad is because it is not built for anything PVE related it is a PVP weapon it is a kinetic pulse rifle it's meant when you're with allies and it's when you're the last fire team person standing it is not meant for PVE basically it's just a five shot burst kinetic pulse rifle it's not a bad PVP weapon but in PVE I don't know if I've ever used it so I'm gonna go ahead and put this as an F kind of a similar situation to Mida multi-tool again this weapon boost movement speed and then you've also got radar stays active while aiming down sights none of the perks help you in PVE there's no damage perks there's no Champions there's no anything like it's again not a bad PVP weapon but in PVE it's just not going to help and if I cross those two words hopefully you guys know what I mean PVP PVE if I say I'm wrong I'm sorry but Mida multi-tool PVP weapon it's decent PVE I don't know if I've ever used it in PVE Jade Rabbit now if you want to see a PVP weapon this is going to be it because chaining Precision shots gains a bonus damage to your next body shot and will return ammo to the magazine I don't know if I'm ever gonna sit in like a lost sector or a strike or a dungeon and have the Jade Rabbit as my exotic weapon I just don't think that's ever gonna happen so I think it's a bad PVE weapon now when it comes to PvE weapons that I wish had potential this is one of them shoots erratic bullets from all gun barrels at the same time something that just spews bullets should be good in PVE it is sadly not this thing would need a full rework I think to be good and even the Catalyst doesn't make it great so again this is why I'm just putting this one as bad you should probably not equip this weapon in PVE unless it just gets rebuilt from the ground up but for now it's a bad weapon chaperone it is a kinetic slug shotgun that gets Precision kills briefly grants bonus handling range and precision damage if you were a beast in PVE with The Chaperone um you probably need to go terrorize Trials of Osiris but yeah don't break this thing into PVE you're not going to do much with it now I have a personal dislike to the last word just because for one I've always been terrible with it so when people kill me with it I just wish I was better but even that being said it's a PVP weapon this is not meant for PVE and I don't think it ever was now I don't think this is going to surprise a lot of people but as a solo PVE player Lumina is just a hand Cannon everything else is based on your allies and healing them and everything else and with groups and certain setups of like you know Group Play could be fun but as a solo player this is about as basic of a hand Cannon as you can get so for an exotic and PVE as a solo player this is just bad as a solo player who tries to survive when doing certain content anything that has the potential to kill you unless you're basically standing in a well of Radiance I don't think is going to be a good gun now can you use this in certain places AKA King's fall sure standing standing in somewhere where you won't die but it's just a solo PVE player running like a lost sector or a dungeon or strikes or anything yeah I don't really want to use something that's just going to kill me and I do want to you on the battlefield and good luck and then we come to Boreal Alice this is another one that is going to be this is bad because sniper rifles aren't great right now and its perks are not good because of it being outdated the fundamentals you can rotate through Arc soil and avoid damage but none of these have been updated and there's two other weapons like it but sadly they're actually better than this one because this is a sniper none of them have been updated for like 3.0 if solar did incandescent if Arc did Vault shot avoid destabilizing rounds maybe you could have some cool potential with this weapon but right now as it's just a sniper rifle with different damage types and we don't even have to really worry about breaking Shields so specifically anymore it's at the bottom because I don't think anybody should bring this into PVE you're kind of shooting yourself in the foot so Borealis not good either now for a weapon that has had its ups and downs in PvP buff Nerf strong broken busted and also nerfed again this is not something you probably should bring into PVE it fires a powerful short-range burst of solar damage well unfortunately in PVE this is not going to really do too much because it's not the best shotgun the burst is a little weird and it's just one of those weapons that is built for PVP I think specifically in PVE I wish this thing was better but it right now is just in a bad place probably just leave it alone Duality is another one again shotguns are not really in a great place in PV in the first place but then we're talking about a possible slug shotgun or a hip fire thing and your buff is basically just about Precision hits uh with slugs extend the duration of kind of the reload buff all in all not a bad PVP weapon for the shotgun users you've got the slug and the hip fire spread but for PVE not really doing anything for you I don't know if I need to justify this to anybody but edge of concurrence edge of action and Edge of intent right now as of me recording this video on June 19th are not good now granted if all of these get a complete rebuild from the ground up and become like much more functional I will be happy about that but as of right now I think everybody can agree these are F's these are bad then when it comes to something like the Manticore and this is something that you basically you want to be floating in the air dealing damage with while Airborne increases the weapons damage output if you've ever thought about being in a bad place in PVE that would be floating in the air and being a target for everyone so unfortunately for PVE the Manticore is also bad I know grenade launchers are not in a great place right now so you can kind of have your questions of where this is really ever going to fall but Bing is these little insectoid robots just chase people and Target them this is kind of one that I think could be cool in PVE but it's just it never has been it's never been something that's PBE related it's meant to just chase people in PvP and annoy them PVE though no just don't use this in PVE people will question what your choices are and for the last piece of f tier we have Black Talon this is one of those that I wish was better but now unfortunately we have swords that throw projectiles we've got things that do better than what this does basically this fires a heavy you know projectile attack heavy attacks are stronger at full energy the idea of that's kind of cool but I think it needs a rework to be able to do more by our multiple projectiles something maybe destabilized on the other side it's a very outdated exotic which at this point to me also makes it a very bad exotic because you're giving up your exotic slot for something that is just not worth the slot but it's also just in PVE it is not doing anything that other swords are probably doing better it's just it's a bad exotic and it needs rebuilt all right so the next tier we're going to talk about is D tier and that I basically qualify as not worth the Exotic slide so these are slightly better than the F tier being as they're not like literally bad for PVE they just in my opinion they don't do anything to make it worthwhile of bringing this exotic with you and taking up your exotic slot for any of your slots and also I just don't think it brings much to the table and we're starting with sweet business now I know this just got buffed to have the explosive rounds I still tested it in just a basic level lost sector and it still just doesn't feel that great for whatever reason in PVE right now this weapon I just don't think it does enough I don't think it brings enough to the table to justify your exotic slot and again we're talking about a kinetic Auto rifle so now you've got a primary in your top slot and a lot of these I will probably mention are going to be with consideration that your kinetic slot maybe something that is not a primary because a lot of people right now in PVE primaries are the those like SMGs or anything that's going to do volt shot anything that's going to do incandescent anything worth repulsive brace that middle energy slot right now for primaries is really popular so if you're you got to be really special to get outside of that so sweet business you got a D now some of you guys are going to see Sturm in the D column and wonder why it's not F and it's mostly because as a hand cannon in and of itself it's not bad and it could actually play well with drain depending on what you craft in that could have your incandescent build and if honestly a hand Cannon turns around and gets a 75 PVE bonus to majors and this thing can actually do reasonable it might not it might not be an F but like right now I think it's a d tier just because it's not it does nothing exciting for me it's not bad but it just it's it's not worth really ever bringing with you either now serious regime you might question being down in D and maybe it's a c and it might justify that but to me it's one of those like Destiny 1 guns that I think has had its life yeah you can get a little bonus damage at the end of the magazine you might get some health back on kill but it's like it's questionable it's not powerful uh the range is either going to be slow or the speeding up the receiver is kind of okay but you're giving up like a kinetic Auto rifle to your exotic slot and it just doesn't do enough to justify it so again a d not worth the slot and I will tell you in PvP if somebody said use a hand cannon in PvP I'm probably going to pick Ace of Spades it does feel damn good and I will say if this big buff for hand cannons and it's 25 for miners 75 for Majors if that comes in and hand cannons are fun and momentum Mori stacks on top of that 75 you could have a really powerful PVE hand Cannon but right now in PVE hand cannons just don't feel great so that's why as this is truly just a kinetic Firefly hand Cannon we have fatebringer and that's a legendary I don't know if this does enough at all to make it justify the Exotic slot so that's why it's a d for PVE for me but believe me if you haven't used this thing in PvP go have fun hawkmoon's another weird one this this gun is meant for PVP no question about it you've got the paracos around you can do some crazy stuff with that and I've seen like I messed around with it when this thing came out you get like 50k on your final pair of causal shot when you get it all stacked up which is kind of cool but again it's an exotic primary and it's a kinetic so you're giving up a lot to use it and all you're gonna and you have to make sure all those Precision shots hit you can't miss and then when you do they get that one to stack it's big but is it big enough now when you get a 75 bonus to Majors maybe that's good but again still it's just mostly a kinetic hand cannon not doing anything too special unless you truly can hit all your shots and it's just a lot to ask in PVE when things are hectic I just can't say that it's worth the Exotic slot either Dead Man's tail is another gun that has gone through a lot of PVP ups and downs and good and Nerfs and great and it died type kind of thing uh cranial spikes not bad uh if you give this thing with a 4-pole it can do some work in PVE but right now bringing a kinetic Scout rifle that literally just does some damage stacking maybe with if you got vorpal on it it could be pretty good but overall I would probably say It just fits in the detier slot because I'm not going to be picking this over a lot of other things and when it comes to Scouts I've got way better options now cryostasia amongst a couple other sidearms is down here because honestly for a stasis build the new verglass curve bow firstasis is way better because you got to swap firing mode then you got to charge up the shot the shot takes a while to charge it's just a sidearm normally and yeah you can get that one target to freeze but I've got a bow that I can spread like five crystals and I've got way more range so if I'm even thinking about anything stasis related this is the last one on my list it's not bad it's an okay little sidearm but honestly it's close to F but I kind of threw it indeed just because final warning is one of those that makes a pretty fun little trailer but unfortunately when you finally actually get to execute the weapon in general it's just not really worth your time it's not really worth your slot it is a strand weapon but then it's a primary in your top slot so what are you doing with your middle slot for energy hitting the mark Target with a fully charged burst will unravel them which is it's okay but in the grand scheme of what Exotics can do this little sidearm is not it's not worth the Exotic slot it's not where the kinetic exotic slot you've got way better options in here and I've got one we'll talk about later now rat king I know some of you are gonna like give me a hard time about but if you again if you think about this from a solo player's perspective it doesn't bring a lot now if you are specifically like a hunter with ger Falcon going invisible or something specific of that nature maybe this could be something that works for you but typically this is just done for memes when six people stand together and use a sidearm on a raid boss but outside of that I don't really see this used so it's just not worth your time it's not bad but it just doesn't do much besides the memes hard light is another one of those fundamentals weapons because again you can reload and you get different types of benefits for being solar Arc and void well now that we have solar Arc and void 3.0 getting increased reload speed from solar is pretty weak in the grand scheme of things now this did incandescent volt shot Repulsor brace or destabilizing rounds and as an auto rifle that's 600 and basically doesn't have range drop off then you're talking about it but right now it just does not bring enough to the table to occupy your energy slot when we have SMGs that do all of those things if it did all of those things yeah then it would just Define exotic and probably bump it up to like a b but right now it's a d ah telesto the best deal um it's broken the game more times than anything else I can definitely guarantee you that one but in a PVE setting it's mostly just a void Fusion rifle doesn't have a lot of range fall off because they will eventually attach and detonate but in the grand scheme of what we have the capability of weapons doing now it's just old outdated it's literally from like the first expansion of Destiny 2 like literally year one it's just old and it doesn't bring much to the PVE table because we do have we have things that do a lot more now and I'm sure they don't want to break the game again so this is probably going to stay as is so deter it is now this one could be better but honestly it's kind of down here in D because there are other things that beat it out and honestly if you're gonna bring an SMG to the party it's still an outdated one this weapon stores power when dealing or receiving damage unleashes the Beast win full so if you deal damage you unrelease the Beast bottomless appetite dealing continuous damage extends the duration of ravenous Beast it could be a fun weapon to use for like clearing ads but my callus mini tool is a legendary does a pretty good job at it pretty fast reload speed and I don't need to waste an exotic on it so this is why this is a d-tier it just doesn't justify its use symmetry is kind of a similar situation it's an ark Scout rifle and you can swap modes to the arc Seeker which will you know track towards combatants a little bit maybe hit a little harder but in the grand scheme of things I've got a vault shot Scout rifle that does something kind of like this and it's a legendary so overall symmetry just doesn't justify its own meaning again another reason why it's in D tier as funny as fourth Horseman is even with the Catalyst of an additional round overall you would use this for a very specific purpose of like deleting one guy but the reload is not good you got like five in the chamber it fires them so fast the recoil's rough and by the time you get done using it your ammo is going to be gone so it would have to be like up close point blank on the ground there's no flying enemies with this thing and yeah it's fires full auto and blast things but it's just I I cannot picture where I would use this anywhere in most builds that I've ever made so for now just sitting in D is a PVE weapon because it is just so so Niche I just can't justify it this weapon at one point ruinous Effigy was actually really cool because the final blows would make these transmutation spheres they need to pick up the sphere you'd have a light attack you'd have a suppressing attack and you'd be able to like dunk and do a lot of damage and at one point I think Bungie thought this was going to be too powerful or too fun um but they kind of nerfed it on the ground and I don't think it's had a lot of love since so in the world of Trace rifles this is just not one you should be using now while this weapon may have one of the coolest sound effects Lawrence driver for PVE is just it's not worth the headache this weapon marks targets with an automated targeting System final blows on marked targets generate the Telemetry pattern those little things you pick up collecting three of them without dying grants this weapon bonus damage for a long duration it's just a lot of work and it's not worth it when you can sit there and turn around use and it also got nerfed so it's a little weaker than even our ballist right now and it's taken up an exotic like for a linear Fusion rifle it just doesn't quite fit anymore so it needs either to find a new home or the PVP people are gonna be happy it died either way not worth your time then we have the final Trio of the fundamentals um for a grenade launcher it's not bad I mean your wave frame grenade launcher could be decent now if this thing for some reason got Vault shot on it you got destabilizing grounds you got incandescent on a triple wave frame grenade launcher that shoots out three yeah this could be an ad clearing beast but right now as it just does you know your reload your stability your handling it it can't it can't win that energy slot with it doing so little so for now it sits in D tier until it gets buffed now we have the OG grenade launcher again grenade launchers aren't a great place right now as is that already brings it down and unfortunately it's just not meta so you can use other grenade launchers you can use special grenade or you can use legendary grenade launchers and probably get as much out of it as this thing between explosive light and all the Buffs you can get from like Cascade point they're better versions of grenade launchers than just a full auto grenade launcher that explodes all together that's it that's all it does they they explode in Arc explosions and they stick to surfaces and set things on fire it just doesn't do enough for your exotic especially in your heavy slot when we've got legendary grenade launchers that are probably better well if you have ever watched a follow-up video and if you haven't watched The Fallout plays video please go watch one subscribe to that man he's hilarious but like this is literally used to measure how far you are from your opponents even though they literally added the fact that it deals significantly more Precision damage and adjust the target when personal assistant is active it's still not in the meta I don't think and this thing has a lot of reserves too somehow sniper rifles need a buff bungees afraid of buffing them and I understand it with people standing in the back but it just makes the thing kind of a non-issue so just skip it so Queen breaker fires a long range Precision Arc bolt that chains to nearby Targets and blinds them unfortunately charge time isn't that fast doesn't have four times the charm doesn't have boss back on it it's not going to do anything amazing and I have a taipan that I can just do more damage with with like triple tap and everything else I've got going on that is going to make a queen breaker linear Fusion rifle not that exciting so PVE related this just does not do enough when literally a free craftable weapon called Taipan can probably beat it truth if this has ever had PVP written all over on it it's like it's not bad this almost could go in the F category is bad but it is just a void tracking rocket launcher so it's pretty basic but it's just not bad so this is why it's d-tiered there's better it's just not awful it's fine now I have meme weapons like rat king this was actually a meme because it was just so terrible like it was used for one purpose like literally going through part of the story and giving yourself um stasis but outside of that it did now it at least is a normal grenade launcher and then if you want to charge it up you can have a bunch of stasis crystals so there's probably someone with a stasis build who actually enjoys using this thing right now because it's actually a little better than it was is it worth your time probably not that's why it's sitting in D tier but overall it's a little bit better than it used to be that's why it's not an F now heart Shadow swords are very specific Civic like you need a very good reason to use one and unfortunately this is not the good one now if you play this thing with your Falcons you could probably have a little bit of fun with it but there's not a lot of places you get to use swords except on very close range small bosses like in dungeons but overall I would say hard Shadow sits in D tier because I don't see anybody basically ever using this thing except maybe 100 or Falcons and even then probably a stretch so d-tier it is now some of you guys may think this thing needs bumped up a little bit but in the grand scheme of weapons that can kill you it's not an F tier like touch of malice because it can be a little bit of fun but you probably need to stand in a well or something to survive I just don't like anything that overheats and could burn me because Staying Alive in PVE is kind of crucial when you're a solo player so anything that's going to damage me I still wouldn't use it it's not worth the slot I don't think it's bad it's okay but it's not much more than that that's why for me this is just the d-tier solar Auto rifle it can do some overpower damage but it also can hurt you so those kind of cancel out solar Auto rifle not worth it our next here we come to is C tier and I call these weapons fine they're better than D tier because they aren't a complete waste your slot but it depends on what they're doing they're not going to be best in class or best in slot but if you have a certain reason whatever it may be for a bunch of different things I just think they're A Step Above D tier I think they're not completely a waste of slot some can be very confusing to you some can have small Niche uses some are better just in casual activities so a lot of these are probably not going to be great for like solo Flawless dungeon runs or Master lost sectors but if you're running around it's just a solo player maybe you're doing whatever PVE related stuff they're still probably okay or fine as I said and the first one here is Crimson now this one has potential to be better with the upcoming hand Cannon buff 75 PVE major damage and 25 for miners after they recently I think got a 20 buff it has potential because this one three round burst kind of unique and it also you know kills gets you hit health and the Precision kills refill the magazine as a PVE player could be good so so it's like it's a fine weapon but I think actually with the hand can above this could be one to watch alright the next one's gonna be bad juju which is kind of like a beefy version of thresh on a pulse rifle it's not a bad pulse rifle but the range isn't that far we've got something to shoot farther now if you're in like mid-level activity something like a hero Nightfall or something like that you could do well because kills refill the magazine increase damage for a short time then the more you kill it's full auto the hip Fire doesn't really help this thing excel in the long run um it does extend curse of you know string of curses when you get the Catalyst it's fine I just don't think this is like a must-have weapon for anybody just it's it's okay but it's kind of just a slightly beefed up version of Thresh now the reason this specific Fusion rifle is where it is in my C tier and opposed to not like d one it has intrinsic Unstoppable so it actually does have some PVE purposes to it and it's kinetic it's a three burst kinetic slug Fusion rifle it's kind of a unique thing it has some Unstoppable potential if you still got your like you know popular SMG or sidearm in your energy slot this could be your Unstoppable weapon if you just want to experiment with it it's fine I don't think this is going to win any awards but it's it's okay enough it does a couple things for PVE where it's it's at least a c tier no higher I don't think some people might see D I just don't think it's any higher than C but I think it's an OKC Travelers chosen is one of those unique things that's mostly a PVP weapon which is fine but it is a sidearm sidearms feel okay and PVE if you're pretty close final blows Grant this weapon stacks of gathering light and then when you consume like the full Stacks you can get melee grenade class ability energy back I wouldn't say this is going to win you a grand master if it does I'd be impressed so I'm sure somebody's done it but overall the fact that you can get some basic kills turn around get your abilities back up have a little fun with the weapon it's a decent weapon feels pretty good to fire overall it's not too shabby when you turn and actually get the Catalyst you know you've got osmosis on it and then you've also got the bonus for like Surplus it it just kind of can work and that's why I think it's a c tier not much more but I think that's kind of where it falls now this one got a decent amount of debate on the stream of where it was maybe it should be a little higher maybe it's a little lower it's a pulse rifle pulse rifles and probably a little biased too I just think they generally feel pretty good uh Precision shots and shots against combatants slowed or Frozen by stasis will return to the magazine so Precision shots you got more ammo then you can turn around and have your little buddy after 10 Rounds then you get your small portal and that thing will shoot on its own and then with the Catalyst it actually shoots faster it's not gonna be like as good at DPS as other things but if you just run around to the pulse rifle in PVE as a PVE player you could do worse but I don't think you're gonna you I think you can do a lot better as well no time to explain it's a weird one we kind of had a little debate in twitch chat if you guys are watching this you want to come hang out on Twitch twitch.tv slash Juventus on there every so often it's a decent pulse rifle but it's just kinetic now granted you get your 10 shots and you can get your little Arc your buddy and then Precision shots and you know stasis ones will return some to the magazine it's decent I don't think it's like good I think it's fine and that's why I put it at C tier Feeding Frenzy does help it out a little bit as well it's a decent weapon feels pretty good I like pulses I think that's why I probably didn't put it in D but generally I think it's just it's fine at this point next one we get to is merciless um an OG Fusion rifle as well now if you're able to basically reload immediately after getting a kill and then turn around and put all of your shots into like a beefier guy like a chunky major or something you could probably do a chunk of damage but it does take a little setup so it's a little a little quirky now the hits with Pursuit with projectiles decrease this weapon's charge time if you don't get a kill and then you can theoretically reload and keep some of that going since it is actually pretty decent um I don't think this still is just great in The Meta though so that's why it's kind of on seat here it's not bad it's not a complete waste of slot you're gonna get some decent damage out of it I just think there are many better things that's why it sits it fine I'm one of those weird people who actually like breech load grenade launchers I kind of have my fun in PVE or PVP which some people may hate me for I'm not great but it's you know satisfying to get those kills um this one's weird it's like this is kind of why it sits in the C category it's not good it doesn't do anything too amazing it's a grenade launcher it was broken for a minute so it's a little way too good they fixed that but you know it's a grenade launcher it's infinite ammo and it's void and if you do direct hits um they do more damage to Shields dealing damage increases reload speed and if you get a couple kills then you basically have an in a second you know round ready to go but it just it's it's not fast enough to be really threatening and be up in that good category it doesn't hit hard enough to be amazing it's just an Infinium avoid grenade launcher which is fun to use and a good way to practice your breach loads but in the grand scheme of PVE for like TPS or anything like that it's not winning any awards that's why it sits at Sea it's fine skyburner's oath is weird it's very situational if you're facing cabal stuff this is gonna be probably higher it's probably a beat here depending on what you're facing and things like that if you've got a lot of shields if you've got the cabal shields especially but this thing firing from the hip it does Scorch you've got the ability to you know go through cabal Shields it's full auto you don't have to think too much about it's like a low thought with the you know abilities that it has but it also doesn't do anything that really justifies it's like I'm amazing I'm cool I'm good it's it's fine in the right you know strikes where you're facing a bunch of cabal for like the one on nessus or the Arms Dealer it actually can do you some pretty good but again you're giving up an exotic slot for a Scout rifle and there's our better Scout rifles than this one in the grand scheme of what we got on the list here so that's why I think this one's still a c tier except for very specific strikes maybe it's B for that one but that's about as high as I think it goes Prometheus lens for a tracer rifle is okay but as a solo PVE player I don't think this thing is going to be one of those that's like a must-have weapon it's cool to fire the beam and have like the heat energy area grow bigger and now it does Scorch as well so it's actually cool that it can also extend the ammo but I don't think as a solo player this is going to be the you know solo dungeon weapon you can goof around with it have some fun but I think that's why it sits at Sea tier and it doesn't do anything special enough to bump it up to B another Trace rifle now it is good against overload Champions and it does have give you the ability to like you know make the bubble that you can shoot and for certain groups that actually can be beneficial but as a solo player I don't see a lot of solo players running in using this as your stunning weapon so as a solo player it sits at sea at fine it's still something you should probably own for any group activity you might bump into later on as a solo player just saying you have Divinity could be beneficial for the two or other five people you're playing with but as a solo player it sits here at Sea because it's not that special for a solo player it's probably closer to D but it's still one of those that I think has enough functionality that people should probably Own It C feels about right it's a weird one but I think C's about right devils are in another one of those it's got the ability to stun Unstoppable Champions as a solo player at least that's something you could satisfy on your own but it's a sidearm it is a solar sidearm and that is mostly it except you do have the laser but it's a charge time of a thousand so it's really long if you do stun them with the laser beam you can actually do some pretty good work with it but it's just it's a lot to commit to your exotic weapon to a solar sidearm for Unstoppable stunning the laser is decently powerful but I just don't think it makes it any higher than C tier but it's also not bad but in the right hand side I just don't think it can be that great either maximita class has been through a lot over the course of its time it is a full auto Fusion rifle kind of like an auto rifle and then you can switch over to a linear mode when you charge it up but unfortunately anymore I don't think this thing is exciting for anyone to get because it's not top DPS or anything else it's not doing incandescent I don't even think it's scorching it's just kind of a solar Auto rifle with the alternate fire so overall this is why I think C tier on Vex is sad to say but I think it's actually kind of accurate now trespasser is one of those in light work activity if you're going against like just basic enemies running around doing bounties or easy strikes it actually can put in some work because after you get that first kill and you switch over to the unrepentant burst it's powerful and you just you know get another burst and then another burst and then another burst and you can melt red bars pretty quick but as soon as you hit something beefier it runs out of gas so fast and then your exotic is just a sidearm that is not that strong so low level activity it's fine but above that you're not gonna want this thing and I was lucky enough to actually get the hierarchy of needs to drop I think I need to go back and get the Catalyst but it's still kind of cool I think there's a better solar bow in the list above it and you'll see what it is so don't go too far the guidance ring and precision hit like Synergy thing it's kind of cool but overall I think it's more work than it's worth it's decent and you know you can get a decent sized ring with the Catalyst and all that fun stuff but I think overall the effort you can put in like deploying a guidance ring or striking Target with a seeking projectile improves draw time and reload speed for a moderate duration like the Catalyst does make it better but I think we've just got a better bow on the list and I think that's why this one sits at seas because it doesn't it doesn't set itself above the other bows and we've got quite a few good bows in here waves are tough because glaves are glaves and right now I think glaves don't justify much more than C tier this was another kind of debated topic between this and one other one this one is at least a decent exotic though the other three Exotics are just bad and we all know it this one's at least a decent one you've got your kind of Shield overshield that you can get with your blocking and it's okay that's why I think it's a fine glaive I don't think it's better but I think C tier for this one kind of works now I know we've all had some fun just deleting things in front of us in a general Zone with like you know 10 Rockets coming out in a crazy volley I think at this point in the stage of the game this is not that strong anymore and I think that's why if you do want to use it for just messing around it's fine but I do think when it comes to True DPS options between the reserves the magazine size the damage it does the proximity that you need to be I just don't think it's gonna be something that a solo player is like oh I need my ward Cliff coil so I can go solo a dungeon or I need this one I don't think that's going to be on the list I still think it does a unique thing with its rocket volley that's why it's at a c tier I just don't think it's above that but again all of this is just an opinion now from an average player's perspective World line zero might be a d and f or whatever and you don't use four solo players four speed Runners for certain people this is a very good weapon but it is so situational so for certain people I just had to put it at C for the average bass some people are going to love this thing with the like speed that you can get going and stuff like that and skating some people won't even know what the heck I'm even talking about that's why it sits in the middle for the right hands does some cool stuff and the average player's hands you don't know what's going on they're kind of going why do I have this thing so C is kind of where it landed and that's about why I did finally get 1 000 voices recently and it's not bad charging this weapon unleashes a giant continuous beam of death and then when that stuff hits the ground it will cause explosions and I think some of it actually scorches now it's cool I just don't know usually if this is going to be like hey let me go into ghosts of the deep and use this on the boss to get a lot of damage it just doesn't quite do that the way other weapons do the ammo I know is kind of rough on it for the economy it's it's a cool weapon I still wish it was just a little better but again I know there's power grip and all the worries of that stuff it's just one of those like I finally got it it's not the greatest it's it's fine and I think that's why C is fitting for where it is but I just wish it was better since conceptually it's actually pretty cool now I may be alone on this one but I just don't think air apparent is Justified to be any higher than C it's kind of cool you spin it up you have a mini gun you have a shield when you're spun up now if you take Arc damage the shield goes away quickly but you also can't just like I can't pull out a machine gun and just click the fire button and I think that's the tough part we have very good legendary machine guns between commemoration and couple other ones from raids those aren't easy to get but granted this thing's damn near more impossible actually because it's from Guardian Games which are now gone so this won't be available for a year so on top of the fact that it's near impossible for anybody to get it just doesn't do enough right now for me to think this thing's like hey a must-have in anything it's just it's fine it could almost be a detier but it's kind of cool as of tomorrow did get a buff recently defeating four or more combatants in a single volley increases the damage of the next volley and refunds the ammunition which is cool and this weapon is capable of tracking and firing multiple targets everybody in chat was telling me this thing's kind of fun to use in Gambit but as a solo PVE player while defeating four targets you may be able to do sometimes it gets some ammo back I don't know if you're really gonna use your rocket launcher to try and clear ads as frequently as this thing might lead you to believe so it's fine it's not a d-tier maybe miserable thinking Gambit but as a solo PVE player I don't know if it's any higher than C and the ammo thing kinda sounds fun but I just don't think it does that much more than C tier parasite is such a unique weapon because you can slowly Stack Up This damage and have this just Monster shot waiting for you I used it invalid the disciple before because you're sitting there killing ads and every so often the big guy would spawn and then you need to delete them and this is very good at deleting and when you have the 20 stack but that's about it if you use the 20 stack and then you need more heavy ammo like DPS this is not going to do it so it is very situational very specific moments that you might be able to use this thing but outside of those it doesn't do too much and that's why it just isn't higher the 20 stack is a massive chunk of damage but the velocity is nothing it doesn't go very far you got to be close so it's just kind of a risk versus reward and build up and everything it just can't be any higher than I see in my book no I got a lot of crap about this one in twitch chat but I said this one's a c some people are saying d f junk and the reason I say is because as a if somebody just picked up lightfall and they played through the campaign and then they played the quest and they got this weapon it is an okay or a fine void heavy machine gun it will do volatile it will do destabilizing rounds and also weakens and between those two pieces it's actually not a bad functional weapon the problem with it is you've got raid weapons which are better and you've got retrofit which is better but those as a solo player can be difficult to get retrofit good luck finding it from Zur or the or banshee and the other two void heavy machine guns are from raids so you'd have to run in raids and then theoretically craft a good one this is an okay weapon because it is 360 round per minute it's okay it's just it's not bad but it's just not great and I think that's why C fits this one fairly well for fine I know some people were lower on it but I think if my reasoning makes sense to you hopefully it does if not well then we just might disagree but I think this one's just it's fine ah the yotin fusion rifle this is one where if you want to go Goofer in on a strike playlist that needs like a solar buff and you're just gonna blow some stuff up could be fun I don't know if I would ever specifically use this thing to do anything more than that though I'm probably not going to take it into you know a legend Nightfall or a lost sector or something like that because it needs a little bit more it hits hard don't get me wrong the impact is literally a hundred it hits hard it tracks a little bit it's kind of a perfect little weapon for PVE but it needs to do a little more it needs like an Unstoppable or an overload or it needs something to set it apart for pde and right now that since it doesn't it's just fine now Collective obligation in the right hands with a gir Falcon Hunter and all that fun stuff I can see this probably being a b tier gun maybe higher depending on if it's in the right hands on a perfect build but is that as it is like complicated to use kind of annoying to set up you've got like you've got a debuff a Target first and then you pull those off and then you got the Buffs that's go on to other people and you can actually have an automatic reload if you devour or over Shield like so some people that's just going to be more effort than it's worth but if you have a warlock running a build that's able to have like suppression or weaken and then you turn around and have devour where it goes longer it's possible that you can have a whole lot of fun with this weapon but it also takes the right hands and the right build and the right character class so I know not everybody's gonna have as much fun with this weapon and I know some could that's why it could be a good weapon in some hands it could be a great weapon in some hands but for the average person they might get a raid exotic like this and go what what am I going to do with this and it's just fine to them so it's a weird place for it I know C may not feel right to some people but that's kind of why and if you do rank it higher I also understand you want to talk about a weapon that is fun but just is just can't really get much love in this day and age it is a kinetic SMG that has Rampage so if you get kills you do more damage it increases the rate of fire as you get as you fire kills reload the weapon and then the Catalyst actually makes it a full reload code if you just want to talk about melting ads with a kinetic SMG it's cool but unfortunately if you melt ads with a kinetic SMG or you melt ads with a callus mini tool and they all explode and cause burning and everything else it doesn't really make this one special anymore and that's the problem so if this did something more it would be cool but right now it's again just one of those outdated Exotics and that's why it sits in the tier that it is now shout out to True Vanguard for repping this thing I've been raids with him and this thing has actually put up some solid damage numbers so if you do get this thing and get the Catalyst for it it's not too shabby but I will tell you as a solo player I cannot think of a time I've ever thought about running this as a solo PVE whatever situation it's kind of fun to use it can have some potential but I think just in general times where you need to do DPS quickly or whatever your purpose is of trying to get like a rocket launcher to do its thing the pace that this is at it just I don't think holds up compared to other things especially for Solo in group play and raid damage I've seen it do some work but outside of that I just don't think it holds up quite as well outside of those situations and finally we come to Winter bite for tier C and this one is here because this thing has broken the game and bosses a couple times um it is kind of cool because your melee is actually slow targets um when loaded with ammo and then you can fire the big giant freeze ball that like locks onto targets and is this little just ice turret it's cool but as a solo player I just don't know if this is this is the best thing because you got to be close it would play into a stasis build somewhat with the freezing of targets but it just I don't know if it's quite built for a solo play group memes and deleting bosses through like damage glitches sure had fun with that but since that's been gone I don't hear a lot of people talking about it that's why it's the final C to your weapon now we come to B tier I would say these weapons are good they're not gonna be like great they're not gonna really stand out from the crowd they're not s-tier they're not amazing but I don't I think they're a little I think they're A Step Above fair or fine or C tier that's why I think these fall into B and literally recently since this weapon got the vorpal buff bosses Vehicles Guardians with supers this one has potential and I think it has even more potential next season when it gets the big buff to hand cannons like 25 to regulars 75 to like Majors this has potential to chunk some damage and especially if you're with taken but even without it when you stack the five rounds it also can do unstoppables intrinsically I think that's just just has a lot going for it and in the right you know situation it can be quite a damn good weapon fun to use and just the fact that it's a hand cannon with infinite ammo and you're able to turn around and get like bonus range here and then you can possibly put some work into a boss it's one of those that probably gets slept on but maybe shouldn't get slept on as much now now the other weapon we turn around with Thorn is very specifically for like a necrotic grip warlock build with Thorn now we've got a better version of that up in s here you'll see what that is but necrotic grips in this weapon and again this is partially with the hand Cannon upcoming buff in mind because Thorne does kind of do some cool stuff you got damage over time which is always nice pretty much always and then if this thing can hit harder with the majors it could be good because thorin's always felt good to shoot if it could just hit hard enough in PVE it might actually be worthwhile it's a b tier I think because it's a good weapon probably better in PvP right now and this thing could be sitting at Sea honestly but I think with just the pending buff to hand cannons I don't want this one completely overlooked because it could be very strong and it could be one of those things like maybe lucky pants could be really good that type of stuff so just one to consider and win that buff to hand cannons happens come back and revisit this one maybe a necrotic grips warlock especially y'all might have some fun if there is ever an exotic that plays into a certain build style this is definitely one of them if you have a melee build for your character whatever it is this is the weapon to use and this is why I think it's good it's a 600 RPM Auto feels good to fire dealing damage with this weapon reduces your melee cooldown so you'll get it back for every bullet that hits a target has a chance to fully recharge with each kill so if you just get a kill on a red bar you might get your melee back instantly and this weapon great gains increased damage from melee kills and kills from this weapon melee kills grain ammo so in the world of like a kinetic Auto rifle it does a lot more than the average bear and if you have a melee build it works around which I wish we could get him builds a little deeper but this is still it's a good weapon it feels good to Fire and maybe we'll actually have like a catalyst or something that does you know whatever up here with the bayonet I'm I'm curious but I think it's still one of those weapons that I feel qualifies as good because of what it can do for a melee build is unlike most other things now this one's probably going to be a personal choice because you may not like this weapon but as a Titan for stasis it's not a class I've ever enjoyed playing but for the lightfall campaign we got this with the season and I will tell you I actually had a lot of fun with it final blows with Bose I enjoy bows so I'm biased I get that but you get stasis arrows and then if you follow up and get three or four kills and then you fire out the like hip fire volley like so with a little bit of spread and you start shattering those crystals it's a fun thing to mess around with and I think there are very good bows but this one for stasis actually made me have a little bit of fun with Titan so I have to give it credit for that alone because my Behemoth is set unused for a while and this actually kind of changed that for a bit so I think B is Justified here next we've got cold heart the OG Trace rifle that finally got a bit of a buff uh shoots a laser but basically the longer it stays on target the more it does damage and it periodically generates ionic traces while in the high damage state so it's a pretty solid Trace rifle decent at single Target DPS and you're generating ionic traces so if you've got an ionic Trace build especially a warlock you can actually do some really good stuff with this one just cold heart is one of those just if you want to use a trace rifle it's solid and on top of the ionic Trace Buffet got it makes it even better so it's one that I think fits B tier probably not higher but I don't think it needs to go any lower either I think it fits about here I'm sure all of you will disagree with everything I say in the comments but that's part of the fun of these now graviton Lance just got kind of fixed so it's like the two fire kind of like revision zero and it feels good I used it and if you're gonna use a solo player build it's a pulse it's got crazy range cosmology if you can break those it's an exotic so you'd be you know get the 40 extra damage right now it's just one of those weapons that if you put it on and you got a void build going it's good if it had destabilizing grounds or upholster it would be freaking insane but as is it's still a great feeling pulse probably something fun in PvP I hear people enjoy but even in PVE I think it's just a good weapon now maybe some people would disagree say it's a c tier I can understand that but I think for me I always enjoy my pulses so I might put them a little higher that's why this one's a b next we've got wave splitter and this one is actually kind of cool because they changed it up because when you collect an orb you're going to go to max power straight away automatically reload it and it's going to sustain fire will suppress targets which is going to be for overload Champions so you got a champion weapon if you're good at making orbs which a lot of us are now you can get max power on this thing actually get some decent DPS out of this thing um it's kind of a sleeper I don't think a lot of people think about wave splitter but between the suppression the overpower good DPS and if you're using like a double special build I bet some people get some really fun out of this one really good fun I can't talk but it's fine it's 1 30 in the morning either way don't sleep on this one pretty solid B seems good now you want to talk about a weapon I haven't used in a while which is kind of hard to make this thing a b tier but it is a shield piercing barrier Champion breaking shot it's a hand Cannon now it kicks like an absolute mule I've hated The Recoil on this thing but bonus damage when aiming down sights on the opening shot of an attack this bonus is preserved with the shot deals Precision damage or strikes a shield so you can break a shield bonus damage the thing about this is if this gets the hand Cannon buff of 75 to Majors you might want to pull this thing back out of the Vault because they're about to be very good it's it's good at what it does and I think in the right hands if you can manage The Recoil it's interesting but I think with the buff coming it could be very strong and I am trying to keep the artifact ideas out of this one but I can't sleep on the idea that this one with a buff and again you get magazine size up to nine and you get auto loading holster with the Catalyst which really does make this have a lot of potential in the right situation for like barrier solar all that stuff come together you can do some work you guys remember when I said we had a solar bow that was better than um hierarchy of needs it's this tiku's divination hip firing weapon fires multiple tracking projectiles easy to use and then targets marked by these projectiles explode upon death or when struck by another sacred Flames explosion so you got caught the causality arrows arrows fired while aiming down sights caused sacred Flames to detonate instantly Precision hits with perfectly drawn arrows increase the power of this detonation it's a little hip fire a little Precision a little hip fire Precision it's just one of those things that's a good little back and forth use you don't have to even like half aim for the ad clear and sometimes when bows are overload Champions it's a nice little bonus too it's not the best on Champions because it's not intrinsic but if bows are up yeah this guy's fun Cloud strike sits at B right now honestly because of the bus it got recently it's a rapid fire and they buff the reserves on this thing I think you can get them up to like 37 which is nuts uh Precision final blows generate a lightning bolt at the target's location that's final blows only rapid Precision hits create a lightning storm at the point of impact this is actually a decent backup DPS if you got a decent primary and you have a decent legendary heavy if this is your secondary like your backup DPS if you're running a heavy ammo weapon this thing can pump out some damage snipers still are not in the best spot but I think this is a pretty good weapon in the grand scheme of where snipers are at and what it's capable of doing it's fun to use and if you got the Catalyst and everything else on it it's got triple tap so it can really do a lot with what it's capable of here so I think B fits I almost thought about bumping it higher but I didn't want to go too strong because snipers probably still need a little more love before I bump it higher I had a tough time deciding on delicate tomb I settled on B I think that's main reason because of the ionic Trace possibilities with a warlock in an arc builds in that situation I think B fits for the average player it's probably gonna sit a little lower but I did want to call this thing out because it's kind of a unique Fusion but final blows get a chance to generate ionic traces powerful foes and opposing Guardians always do and then you also have the chance collecting ionic Trace jolt the next shot so you've got a nice little rotation circuit kind of mini game that you can do with this one and I think when everything comes together collecting ionic Trace partially reloads the magazine from reserves it is just a nice little rotation so if you get the ionic Trace then you jolt then you get a killed and it all starts to rotating again it gets to be pretty fun it's not the best I can see a c but I thought it was just it's one of those that when we've got quite a few Exotics this one actually kind of plays into all the arc 3.0 stuff pretty well I can tell you a few months ago this thing would not be this high on this list but right now this thing hits like a monster truck um this weapon fires blast of high damage Arc energy that over penetrate enemies they recently just boosted the range of this thing from like 9 to 12 meters um you'll see enemies a little farther away but it is just it's gonna blast and then when you put the Catalyst on it it's gonna be better it's kind of one of those ones if you have a boss that is up close to you and you're running kind of an arc build situation or you just need to delete things in a general area it's actually pretty good now it's been low for a while but I will say at the moment I've seen more people using it in a couple different builds happy to see that this one actually might be called good and I think it fits the category now this one was kind of hotly debated trying to make sure we can see all the text here Fire based Precision damage it's just a high impact uh sniper rifle rapidly Landing three Precision hits will refill the magazine and then you can miss one with Mulligan going back in now you're not going to get infinite ammo but you can blow through a lot of reserves with this thing and when you get the Catalyst on there it does a little bit better I love the weapon it's one of my biggest videos I've ever made and how to get this thing I don't even know if you can get it right now well because the mission's not in the game besides probably buying it from the kiosk but if you're a solo player and you're able to hit your shots you can continually fire this thing for like 21 or 24 rounds or whatever it is and if you can hit your shots you can go through an entire heavy sniper rifle of damage it's decent for damage I think good qualifies it in the right hands in a skilled player it's a good weapon if you miss your shots and you don't like succeed in procking that thing over and over and over it's not going to feel that great but I think in the right hands it can be good Anarchy is another weapon that has been through a lot of ups and downs at this point I don't think it's that great because grenade launches aren't that great it's still the only thing that you can literally like stick it to surfaces and kind of have it do damage while you're doing other stuff and the fact that you can kind of set up a triangle of damage on the ground if you know enemies responding it's a very unique weapon I still think it qualifies for good it's not St or anything right now because there's no grenade artifact mods that I'm trying to make this set you know the series of tears not have artifacts really in mind but there's probably situations in the future this thing could be very good right now I think it's just normal levels of good it could be fair it could be fine and I don't think it's amazing but I think it's still just unique enough I think it sits in B tier we're getting up into a tier now and I think these weapons are great they may not be amazing and I think my list for S tier is probably short because it's hard for me to justify that as a solo player and again my list is going to differ vary from all of yours so have fun in the comments but izanagi's burden in the right hands of a solid DPS weapon swapping like do the big home dead shot and then switch over to an autoloading rocket launcher the whole rotation works and has been proven over and over and over so it is a great weapon I just don't think it's amazing because it is for certain DPS situations only and that is mostly all you're going to use it for so if you need like a versatile build to do multiple things this may not fit the bill but if you need a DPS Hammer this is gonna do it and when it comes to pulses this is one of the best it's been used in like first eight first day raids when you have the Catalyst on here the nanites do more damage the nanite stack and as a group it can stack even better but even as a solo player it is an infinite ammo weapon because it's a primary and you can sit there and just continuously get a solid amount of damage from a primary pulse that is like a laser beam it's accurate and it just feels good to fire it's just one of those weapons that when you get it and you finally use it you understand like yeah I understand why people have a hard time taking this thing off it is a great weapon in the world of Trace rifles I personally think this is one of the best I know you may differ but when it comes to a stasis build at all but also just the amount of crowd control a solo player can get out of this thing is impressive you'll slow weapons when they explode they'll freeze you can switch this thing over to eat up your super and just pump out just a laser beam of Beast damage it can do a lot of things and then stasis final blows transfer ammo from reserves so you can even fire it longer than you normally would be able to I think the potential of this one just because of the crowd controls the solo player sets this so high for me and I've had so much fun with it in the past it just really is a unique weapon you get the Catalyst going where you can drain the super and just absolutely go ham it's fun and I think that's why this to me is also a great weapon I know not everybody has Quicksilver storm but when you get it and then you get the Catalyst and this thing can turn into a strand weapon final blows With Grenades from this weapon create Tangles and then you get the little micro missiles as you fire I know it's just like an auto rifle with micro missiles and grenades but I cannot explain why it feels so good stability is 100 recoil directions damn near vertical you get your bonus grenades on the background it's just one of those primaries for whatever reason it's fun to use it may not be the best thing but I can tell you it is far from the worst and I think it is a great weapon that is like possibly underrated because it's just not a rifle but it is a really fun weapon to use and it just feels good so fire that thing and enjoy the rockets that come after the grenades you can switch over to to chunk some damage I think it justifies it I think it's pretty great now my pulse rifle bias might come into play here but I also think revision zero is a very good weapon you've got barrier intrinsic to it you've got your alternate scope that you can set up you've got your catalysts where you can get four times the charm so your alternate scope can hit a bonus round uh or two actually I'm sorry so it's just a very cool Weapon It's a pulse with great range barrier damage your alternate firing mode Catalyst with four times the charm for PVE it does a lot of things right shout out to merkules for making a great weapon and if you ever need a Kinect pulse rifle in that slot this is gonna be my go-to there's one in s tier I think that's better for barrier but this is still a fun weapon very practical to use I think you've asked everybody if the Val if the lightfall raid was going to be a shotgun for the Exotic weapon people were probably gonna have some questions but then when you show them this monster that does solar damage that will basically ignite targets cause an explosion you've got stasis which will either freeze Unstoppable or overload and you've got the double barrel thing going on I will tell you this is a fun weapon to use and it's actually one of the better Exotics we've got from especially from a raid in quite a while like this one well the triggers have fun conditional finality whole bunch of stuff going on so that's why this is a great weapon to me and I think it's great to a lot of other people chat almost had this thing s here I had to bring them down but I think a is probably a pretty safe place for this one Sunshine's a fun one and I think a lot of people even right now feel sunshots pretty good it's the only 150. uh this weapon fires explosive rounds and highlights targets that take damage any kill does not have to be Precision causes a solar explosion and then when you get the Catalyst even more fun and if hand cams do get that big buff which this one definitely should justify it's not like Ariana's it's it's a normal hand Cannon if this thing gets 75 harder against majors and miners blow up even more this is going to be a fun primary to use it's one of those rare moments where like this changing out for your callus mini tool this one might actually win that spot it's a great weapon and it actually could get very good coming up risk Runner is like Vault shot and damage resistance combined into one weapon because you've got the when you take Arc damage the weapon becomes more powerful so now your SMG can put out some chunky damage you resist incoming Arc damage kills increase the damage over time when you get the Catalyst you can get your ammo back in with Arc conductor it's just a damn good weapon it's been a great weapon for a lot long time and it still holds up this is just a good I'm sorry great great weapon and if you said this long a little life it may take an arc damage situation but when that this time is there it shines so I will say I think this this fits in a category it's pretty great remember when we talked about solar Scout rifles a little while ago with skyburners this is the one that makes it look less good you've got perfect fifth Precision hits return ammo to the mag Landing four Precision hits load a delayed solar explosion round into your next shot so if you get a Precision hit you don't really run out of ammo every four gets you a big explosion Zen moment is gonna make this thing feel amazing you got tactical mag small bore fitted stock it is just a and you've got infinite ammo 97 recoil I can tell you this thing with infinite ammo kind of broke Whisper of the worm a while ago and it's still one of those weapons if you need a solar Scout rifle for whatever reason it's able to do damage and if you ran out of every other piece of ammo you had and this is all that you had left you'd still feel pretty good about putting out some decent damage now this was a hard one I'm probably gonna get some disagreements here some people hate seeing this in PvP I understand it and PVE it puts in some work but I don't think it's quite s here and I'll show you the bow that I do think is asked here when we get here right towards the end but it's a very good it's got intrinsic overload it's one of the best at that the Precision hits with the poison arrows the poison spreads to nearby people around um it'll stun the combatants because it does overload and it's just a it's a good weapon to use draw times a little slower which you'll probably get a feel for but overall it's a solid PVE bow overload Champion stunner makes it kind of great because when you start using it for that it's nothing almost nothing compares it is a great bow to use I enjoy pretty much all bows and this one is pretty much second to one other it's a it's a really really good one sorry I got one other bow in here forgot but that's heavy tractor Cannon continues to live on and I think this one whether you're doing a synthiceps hammer build the fact that tractor Cannon is one of those things that can just like push enemies away it suppresses their ability shuts down a super and makes them weaker it's just one of those things that does a lot pretty functional and while it may not be that flashy it's just very very good at what it does so I think that's why it qualifies as this tier and certain builds makes it really shine in the right hands so it's one of those that I think could be B could be a I landed on a and I think it's probably fair either way if you disagree I mean you pretty much have to look at sleeper simulant notes probably an a tier above it's just a beast I mean the weapons laser over penetrates refracts it takes you know forever to charge this thing up but it hits like a a truck we know that and when you're going for DPS it's good but if you get the Catalyst that really does set it apart to be a great weapon catalyst is kind of required so you do want to make sure you get that one but I mean come on just look at this thing it's kind of awesome warmind weapon still one of the best two-tailed Fox that doesn't even fit on screen uh it shoots two rockets one void one solar um one will suppress the other will cause damage over time from burning and then they added an arc rocket which I didn't think they would do because it jolted the target so the fact that this is the three-tailed fox allows it to put out some pretty solid DPS you're gonna hit it with every damage type that you've got and it's just fun to use for that alone the Catalyst makes this an a tier weapon in my opinion and because I never thought they were gonna make the Catalyst as strong as it was so I think that alone just because it's like chucklingly strong is probably why it's sitting here now if you want to talk about The Little Engine That Could I'm going to say that's leviathan's breath what started out is not a great feeling weapon it got a catalyst so now you've got maximum quiver sizes up you've got Archer's Tempo to make it fire faster and people are using this as DPS on dungeon bosses now because it hits so hard it hits and then it explodes so it has the full shot first and then the concussive blast is even more and it's an Unstoppable intrinsic Champion breaker I mean shout out to Sammy Cat for her triple bow usage on her Hunter I know those things made it possible but do not sleep on this weapon it is powerful it hits and it's better than it ever was that's why it's sitting in this a tier because somehow this thing has climbed the charts slowly and slowly made itself pretty amazing now I'm probably biased on this one a little bit because it just is fun it's had some ups and downs it's been buffed and it's nerfed in its fire rate and stuff like that they don't ever want this thing to be too strong because it hits so hard and you don't need Precision rounds no granted you've only got like 34 bullets if you max out your reserves but every one of those bullets will basically delete most things you pointed at it is amazing it fires high power explosive ammo um as soon as you fire this thing you know why it's a tier it's not s tier mostly because of just a few little nuances that it can't really take advantage of everything that other things can but you point this at things things start to Die the DPS is decent and I will tell you some people might put this with s tier with actium war rig which I can justify but for everybody a general average I think a fits it's just a fun gun to Fire and it's still good to this day from Shadow keep if there was ever going to be a sword that was high on a tier list it's one that's basically a chainsaw and it's pretty cool it is definitely it's a barrier weapon which I sometimes even forget that it does that one but I mean this thing is still used to this day on dungeon bosses that you can sit there and wail on so ekthar in the new ghosts dungeon people have definitely used this one on him but the fact that it's just like the revved consumption damage and combatant it heals the wielder as well just in case you didn't think it did enough like stacking damage and got the damage going on and the fact that if you damage them you get health yeah it's it's a pretty amazing weapon it almost squeaked into s tier for me because it's about the only sword that justifies either of these two but it's amazing definitely a tier awesome sword do I need to say anything else about galahorn besides the fact that it's Gala horn wolf backgrounds as a solo player it's decent DPS because with the Catalyst you can get two in the mag and also final blows with wolf background spawning faster more powerful missiles so you get a little extra but it's also the fact that if you have this weapon you'll be more valuable to a group as well so if you're a solo player and you look for a group and you're like I have Galley they'll be happy about that so overall it's galahorn It's gotta be a tier now this thing needed a little tweaking to get I think up to uh a tier but Grand Overture now with the reserves that we've got I think a total of like 60 in the magazine the missiles that we've got the bonus for and then when you go and put the Catalyst on there you've got the possible blinding and then those defeated by missiles then explode you've got crazy stability lots of handling and then if you come up here land hits with the slug launcher to load the missiles and then you can do a massive volley this thing can put out some DPS and as a solo player it may be a little slow it's kind of like an arc xenophage I think somebody said that in chat pretty well but it is a it is a powerful weapon solid DPS it's pretty decently high on DPS charts you you can definitely do much much worse and I think while it could be a good weapon for some tiers I landed on a tier for this one mostly because it has gotten a lot of love recently and I think it's Justified it's a pretty solid weapon now as we now are getting ready for S tier let me know in the comments below which weapons you agreed with which weapons you disagree with and if there's maybe something that you know I didn't mention or forgot to put in the right place whatever it may be that's what the comments are for but if you guys do enjoy this one hopefully you enjoy the journey so EST here we've got wishender this thing has been made amazing it's it's a bow first off it hits hard it's an anti-barrier weapon that just smashes things um it just can do and the fact that it's like increased accuracy piercing Arrowhead goes through the target hits someone entry and exit on big things like bosses hitting some two or three times and it's a bow and you never run out of ammo it's like arballists but it just never runs out of ammo you can do constant solid DPS with just this weapon if you had nothing else you'd probably still be doing okay like that's why this is an S to your weapon for me so this is one of them but I can't leave arbelist off the list it's also very good linear Fusion rifles so you're gonna be hitting in a different way if you can get Special ammo it's going to do well it's still a barrier Champion that kind of does anything like does it like nothing else we know this is useful in Ghost of the deep because it one Taps the Shields and I just love this thing and on top of that it got the recent ornament from the Community member I got to make one and it's actually a pretty sick ornament so overall while it does look cool I think arbalist honestly justifies an S to your weapon just because it's so functional like it hits that kinetic slot because so many people right now using SMG fees in the energy slot it's up there kind of perfect and if you don't have you know the ability to go get wish under everybody gets this weapon now and I think it's just that good now another weapon that is just that good is wither horde wither horde is one of the best passive DPS weapons damage like small ad clearing I mean if you've ever done DPS on bosses as a solo player this is one of those weapons that you probably want to test out and see if it works for you the fact that you can kill ads with it you can just make the floor lava you can shoot it onto a boss have tick damage while you go work on something else wither horde is like nothing else in the game it's one of those that I worry Bungie wishes they could uninvent because of how powerful and frequently it's used but it's an amazing weapon no question it sits here on the top of the list now we had Thorn earlier for necrotic grips this one is probably better but it does it for everyone so you fire a stream of sentient toxic projectiles that Target the enemy Landing a final blow or multiple Precision hits triggers a burst of poison and you can just start chaining that poison to everybody they take a little bit of travel time if this thing ever got a catalyst it would probably be god tier just because it's that good already I mean people have used this thing to constantly DPS bosses kallus was killed in the lightfall campaign with this thing by many people I know is just kind of a cheese method it does too many things too well it's too easy to use by a lot of people it it's an amazing weapon I can't figure out why it wouldn't be S tier in my opinion now we come to the number one bow and the main reason is the number one bow it was fine before but the Catalyst makes this probably the number one ad clearing weapon that I've maybe ever messed around with and the main reason is is when lightning rod triggers from any Arc damage final blow and the fact that it actually lowers the draw time as well this is about as good as you can get for a bow great D like accurate great ad clearing and then the lightning starts going off I don't think a lot can really compare I mean because you've got lightning but you can do it at any range you want to it's insane so Trinity ghoul absolute s to your weapon probably the best bow in the game a little more for ad clear as opposed to single Target DPS but what it does for ad clear is pretty pretty special and the final weapon is going to be thunderlord and I think this one fits the S tier because one it got a nice little glow up recently with the catalyst causing a lightning strike with this weapon partially reloads the weapon the magazine from reserves you can almost fire your entire reserves without reloading with this Catalyst now feeding frenzies on it it's an overload weapon if you've got lightning and honestly you can just like plink at single Target like red bars with like one bullet and kill them that way too and then you can turn around fire at a big boss and unload 100 bullets in a row without having to reload it is one of those things that a catalyst kind of like Trinity goal made it a very special and powerful weapon and it's one of those that I have trouble taking off and if if it's not an arc season I get it but if I have an excuse to use thunderlord it is a little too much fun so it is one of my top s tier weapons as well and that is the final one of the list now I don't have the Navigator yet I will tell you as kind of a bonus one here but I have heard that when you sever a Target you yourself can get woven mail I don't know if that's a bug so I'm really not entirely sure where to rank this thing right now it could be a b tier because I think like with a strand and then severing a Target and then you can shoot an ally with a woven male but if the sever also gives you woven mail it's a really nice way to stay alive it's got potential to be good I think that's probably a safe place to put it but being as I don't know if it's bugged I don't have it yet and I don't know if I've seen a lot of people use it or interact with it very much I wasn't entirely sure where to rank this one if it stays as it is right now I think B is probably a safe place to put it but I'm not entirely sure and then we also have this guy here probably gonna get one this season since we don't have it yet we'll see when it drops but other than that um that is the Exotics and I think for a lot of you guys there's gonna be a whole lot of disparity for me there's certain weapons I know I have fun using arbalist wishender Catalyst thunderlord xenophage and there's also a lot of really good legendary weapons that may compete like my retrofit Escapade but I can also tell you I don't know how many people could possibly get their hands on this weapon right now it's just really hard to get a hold of so I was just trying to do an exotic tier list that is based on a solo PVE
