hi everyone thanks so much for being here my name is laura cello if you don't know that in case you're new here um the past weeks have been super stressful and just emotionally really exhausting and i thought i would keep myself busy and play you some music um yeah i thought i would just play some of the songs i played for a live stream i did last week this video should be out on a saturday so hope you're having an amazing weekend you can cozy up with a cup of tea and join me play you some old songs and some new songs this video is not planned or written out or anything at all i just felt like i just felt like creating something today that was a little bit more raw i hope you enjoy it and the first song i'm playing is called the wolves i wrote the wolves very spontaneously and wasn't a song that i thought was really good but it was the first song that i put up on youtube and it kind of opened a lot of doors for me so now it feels now it feels almost really comforting to play it i have lately i've been kind of looking for more authenticity and also trying to create things that feel a bit more raw and a bit more unpolished sometimes these days i get overwhelmed with the amount of media i consume and everything is so yeah so polished and filtered so this video might be a huge mess but um but it's real so this next song is a song i just wrote with a friend of mine colleen we have a duet series i will have that somewhere here or there i don't know where that'll be but um yeah we did a couple of do that since she's an amazing songwriter and we wrote this song called the mom made me learn that song or introduced me to that song and when i started busking it was um one of the first ones i learned and many of the people on my channel are from dublin city today and this cover of i'm on fire with germs burnell has um has pushed me a lot and helped me out a lot so now it's my favorite song to play when i'm on the street and i'm hoping that i can play very soon so yeah thankfully gone from the internet they were really bad but i've been doing youtube for a longer time then i had a little restart and cleanse in august when this channel started to start working out finally um but yeah i'm on fire has really really kind of been with me for so long and actually was the version of the staves that i totally fell in love with i just see that my guitar is super out of tune so i hope i hope it's not too bad [Music] all right so my camera was doing weird things so i was restarting it again i've never filmed for so long so i don't know if my video is going to stop if the camera is rolling um for too long anyway i'm back again and this last song is called wildfire it is on my channel as well um wildfire has been one of the first songs that i wrote that i actually liked so i hope you enjoy it it feels old now i wrote it a year ago almost but it still feels pretty accurate it's about really um missing someone and about constantly fighting [Music] yeah all right
