I Only Used VIRAL TIK TOK Beauty Products For 24 HOURS... *it was a fail*

as you can probably tell from my face i have literally just woken up look at these bags i look so rough today i did not sleep much at all last night so if i look a little bit that is why but hello good morning everyone today good afternoon everyone it's about midday but we're just gonna pretend it's the morning it's 9am it's 9am today i'm going to be filming a video that i haven't done in a really long time i used to do quite a lot of like i only used certain beauty products for 24 hours videos like i used to do a lot of these but it's been a while like it's been a really long time so i kind of fancied filming one and today i'm going to be doing only using viral tik tok beauty products for 24 hours i mean you probably know that because you saw the title um it's a bit of an interesting one though because i don't actually have tick tock so you're probably thinking how do you know what's viral on there so like most of the world i did used to have tick tock but i think i deleted it when did i get rid of it it was probably like halfway through last year i just thought i'm gonna get rid of the app for a bit and see if it makes my phone screen time go down a bit because i realized i was spending a lot of my time scrolling through tick tock so i was like i'll just get rid of it for a week as a little experiment i never re-downloaded it like i never felt the need to re-download it so i now don't have tik-tok and i feel like one of the only people in the world if you are watching this and you also don't have tik tok please let me know but anyway i've seen videos pop up of people doing like testing viral tick tock beauty products and stuff like that and i was like oh i want to do that but let's make it into like a 24 hour challenge video so yeah the way that i found these products is through some random like articles that i saw pop up i kept seeing articles that would be like 20 viral tick tock beauty products that you need to try so i basically got all of this from those i don't know if they're correct if anyone watching is like a big tick tock fan and knows a lot about the beauty side of it please let me know if these are correct there might be a product in here and you're going to be like sophie that never went viral on tiktok and it's just going to be really awkward but yeah i'm trusting these articles hopefully they are correct and yeah i just thought it'd be a fun way to test out a bunch of new products that apparently are amazing like they must have gone viral for a reason so hopefully they're really good so i'm going to start off with my morning skincare routine and i have this product here apparently this went viral on tik tok it is a foaming cleanser by the brand cerave i think it's pronounced cerave i swear this brand's been going around for years but yeah i think that's how you say it i mean my brain wants to say sarav but i think it's ceravi it's like a nice fancy pronunciation um so this is their foaming cleanser for normal to oily skin i feel like i'm more like normal to dry but that's fine this is the one that went viral so this is the one that i got the packaging is very simple it kind of looks like something you might get prescribed from your doctor like someone you might pick up from the chemist apparently this is fragrance free and hypoallergenic so if i have an allergic reaction to this i have a problem like it's simple as that i have a problem the first thing i need to do is whoa wet my face i am struggling today i'm struggling i'm always struggling on i can never get my words out so the first thing i'm gonna do is wet my face i'm guessing it's just gonna look like oh i wasn't expecting that it says gel on it it says gel right there but for some reason i was expecting it to be like a creamy cleanser um but yeah it's just like a clear gel so i'm just gonna kind of get it going i'm just like trying to lather it up a bit i think that's okay yeah you can tell that it's got no fragrance it just smells like nothing obviously i'm just gonna massage it into my skin it's quite nice using a product but i just know i'm probably not gonna have an allergic reaction to like normally at this point i'm like oh goodness what's gonna happen but i trust this and then to moisturize my skin i got another one this is huge i'm pretty sure i ordered these in the same size like i got both of these in the little version but they sent me this giant moisturizer so i really hope i like this because this is probably going to last me the rest of my life um it's literally so big so this again is the cerave moisturizing lotion for dry to very dry skin i'd say that suits me i wouldn't say very sometimes very dry but again this is what the packaging looks like looks just like the other one but it's blue and like double size i have a feeling this one's going to be like a cream that came flying out there hello that feels really slimy like a full-on slippery slimy moisturizer but like in a good way like i can tell this is going to be so moisturizing oh my goodness it's so slippery i think i've ever had a moisturizer that literally glides on like that can you see it's like but it's quite nice it feels good those skincare products have left my skin feeling so nice i feel like if you're after some skincare that's a little bit more simple a little bit more gentle on your skin i feel like you'll really like them i'm a big fan i'm definitely going to keep using them and no allergic reaction in sight i'm very happy so it's now time to do my makeup i have got pretty much a full face no i haven't i've got like a full face of makeup minus a few things so it's technically not a full face of makeup but i tried my best there were just some things they didn't have that like had never gone viral on tick tock like there were no viral highlighters shocking i know but i tried my best to get as much as i could i'm gonna swap you guys over to my main camera for this bit so i'll see you over there in a sec it feels really weird to be back in my old background i actually haven't filmed a video here in probably like two months pretty much all of mine have been either sat on the sofa or in my streaming background so this is really weird it's like an old makeup sophie video it's been a while no but to be fair this was my background for so many years and it is kind of weird that i've just kind of abandoned it so it feels nice to be back it feels like i'm home um anyway moving on let's get the first product what is the first product so the first thing i'm going to be using is a primer this is the nyx the marshmallow primer i am very excited to try this because a i'm hoping it's going to be pink like a nice pastel pink color and b i'm hoping it's going smell like marshmallows i can hear a cat meowing probably my cat um he's still going the packaging is really cute it's a nice pinky color very cute and then i think it's just got like a little squirty pump on it so i'm just gonna squirt a little bit of this out let's go on the back of my hand please be pink don't let me down it is it's kind of oh my goodness i just got a smell of it it smells like a flump it literally smells like a flump if anyone is like a 90s kid or do they still make them maybe they still make them now but if you're a 90s kid back in the day this smells exactly like that like literally identical and anyway as for the color it is a very very subtle pastel pink i don't know how well you guys will be able to see it on camera but it is like a very subtle bit of pink and the texture i guess it is kind well it's not as sticky but it is kind of like that marshmallowy texture but just not a sticky i'm very excited to put this all over my face so i'm just going to take a little bit and i'm just going to kind of dot it there there there i think that's probably enough although i want more i want this all over my body dogs are barking cats are meowing i'm sorry if there's a lot of background noise like there just seems to be a lot going on right now but anyway let me rub in the primer oh it feels nice i mean it feels really nice on my skin i don't really know exactly what it's done i feel like with a primer you've got a kind of weight until you put your makeup on to see if it applies it nicer and see if it makes it last longer but so far it feels really nice it smells incredible so because of the type of foundation that i've got i'm pretty sure i need to do my concealer first like i need to do liquid stuff first so i'm going to start off with this this is the elf 16 hour camo concealer i got mine in the shade fair beige this is what it looks like and then i'm guessing it's probably on a little spongy spongy applicator this is what it looks like oh it's got a nice sound to it when you stick it back in i like that okay so i'm just gonna take a little bit of this and pop it under my eyes a little bit there a little bit there and then i tend to do like little bits like that oh wow i mean it is really full coverage like it's blending out really nicely and like i said it's really full coverage it's definitely brightened that area quite a lot the thing is though is when i put the foundation on top it's just going to cover it up i didn't really see another way around it i'll show you in a second you'll know what i mean so for foundation i've got the l'oreal infallible 24-hour fresh wear foundation in a powder so that's why i did the concealer first because this is a like powder foundation and i figured concealer wouldn't go on top of that very nicely so yeah this is this is what it looks like um you can probably see i've made a slight error when it comes to the shade but apparently that is vanilla vanilla so um it's gonna be a little bit too dark for me i am gonna have to bring it down my neck and just try and make it work okay it looks so bad like it actually looks so bad so this went viral on tick tock are you sure it went viral in a good way maybe it went viral for being really bad it literally looks terrible it kind of reminds me of the maybelline dream matte mousse it's kind of got that dry powdery finish to it um i guess it doesn't help that the shade is wrong i'm gonna keep going with it shall i use my normal sponge instead and see if that helps i think i might try that that does look a little bit better but i still don't think it looks great like you guys see how patchy that looks i don't understand am i doing something wrong i'm just bringing a little bit down my neck because obviously it doesn't match me in the slightest is very orange that's the thing it's like a real orange tone foundation okay it has been a little while i have tried my best to blend this out as nice as i possibly can it just doesn't sit nice on my skin it's got that real dry powdery look to it so yeah i think this just isn't for me and my skin type i think if you have dry skin a powder foundation probably isn't the best way to go but i can see why people like it because it's really full coverage and that's the one thing i noticed it's very full coverage i don't know also i've got the wrong shade like i basically this just isn't for me we have a bronzer this is the physicians formula butter bronzer i think that's how you say it i haven't even opened it yet and i suddenly can smell like a full-on coconut of full-on coconut so i'm just going to take it on a big brush and just kind of dust it all over to warm my face up yeah i don't need that do i i already resemble a what's it i'm so orange right now this probably isn't even going to show up oh my goodness this is such a fail this is why i don't do makeup videos this is my new teeth everything's going wrong okay i've managed to get it to show up now i feel like now it almost looks like too much i just can't win here i'm not having a good makeup day but yeah i do like it i think it's a really nice bronzer really nice shade really nice formula i think it will look a lot better on top of my normal makeup i think because my base is such a crusty dusty mess right now because of that damn foundation it just nothing's looking good right now but yeah i think this is a nice product it's not completely matte as well it's got like a slight sort of sheen to it which looks quite nice guys i've made a mistake i've made a massive mistake so the next product is a blush this is probably the thing i was most excited to test because it looks really cool like i'll show you guys in a sec um it's a liquid blush it's a liquid blush i am currently the most powdery dry texture that i think i've ever been it's not gonna work is it it's not gonna work it's just gonna go into like a icky mess but we're gonna try it anyway because we've got this far we're going to keep going this is by the brand cadger or kaja i'm not sure how you pronounce it this was quite hard to get hold of but i had to get it for this video because it looks so cute so this is their cheeky stamp blendable blush i got mine in the shade saucy i think i think this was the only one they had in stock so hopefully it's a good shade so this is what it looks like and then i think the product is in here that looks really dark that looks really dark so this is what it looks like it's on like a kind of spongy thing and it's basically a stamp so i'm guessing the stamp is in here wait i'm so excited let me stamp it let me stamp it are you ready are you ready are you ready that is so cute so you basically get a little heart stamp like this and you just stick it into the spongy thing press it down like a proper stamp let go and then the product is on the heart it's so cute oh my goodness how am i gonna do this though it is literally not gonna blend at all okay so i'm gonna do a little stamp there very nice okay blend blend blend blend blend blend blend super fast blend please please please please please please please no i don't think that's gonna blend i actually don't think it is i might i might just have to do two heart stamps and just act like that's what i wanted and we're going for like a slightly unique look you know just some nice hearts on my cheeks there is absolutely no way that is going to blend on this base see this foundation is making me unable to test all the products properly i mean we've got to do the same again on the other side so let's get a little bit more oh it is really fun though i feel like it's such a fun little thing so let's try and make a matching heart on the other side i'm going to go i do want to quickly test it on like a liquid base and see how nice it blends so i'm just going to put a little bit of the concealer on my hand i'm just going to blend that out and then we're going to go one more time i'm just gonna stamp it onto my hand oh i smudged it and let's just see how well it blends out it is actually blending quite nicely okay okay so we know that the product works that has blended out so easily onto a onto a liquidy base so yeah it's a very shimmery glittery blush um which is kind of good because i don't have a highlighter like i said and there were no viral tik-tok eyebrow products either like none that i could find any articles of so i guess i'm going eyebrow-less today at this point i don't even care because this makeup look looks so bad it just doesn't even matter let's move on to the next product so for mascara i've got the maybelline lash sensational sky high mascara so anyway let's have a look at the wand hopefully hopefully it's a nice one that looks like my kind of wand oh i don't think i've ever seen a mascara one that is that wobbly like the slightest little touch against it and it kind of feels like it's about to snap off oh balls i feel like i look really strange where i've got all this makeup on but no eyebrows but we're just gonna ignore ignore the eyebrows i love that mascara like i very quickly got used to the wobbly um wand and i really like it i feel like it was really good at like gripping onto every single eyelash and just making them look longer separating them and then for my lips i've got this nyx shine loud lip products i think this is like a mix between a liquid lipstick on one end and a lip gloss on the other end so that is something a little bit different i have no idea what shade i got i've looked all over and i can't see the name of the shade but it's basically this sort of dark brownie color there were not many to choose from like most of these were out of stock oh wow that is a soft applicator did you see how that glided on oh my goodness i haven't never felt a lip applicator so soft i just want to rub it all over me that'd be a bit of a mess so soft all oh love calm down i'm now going to try the other side which i'm pretty sure it's just like a clear gloss that you put on top so i'm smelling it to make sure it's not nail polish it looks like a nail polish brush so it almost feels wrong to put that on my lips but that is definitely not nail polish so i'm just going to add a little bit of gloss on top i know normally do this but we're doing it today oh oh i hate lip gloss so much but there we go i mean yeah it's added a gloss to my lips like wow it really has they look so glossy i mean i like this i think it's a really nice lip product the color is a little bit too dark for me i wouldn't normally go for this shade but like i said most of the nudie shades were out of stock but yeah it feels like a really nice lip product so um this is my makeup look i think i just need to like cover up my eyebrows because that is the bit that's throwing me off the most but yeah as an overall look we're not gonna talk about it this is not a very nice overall makeup look so i'd say my least favorite product oh god it's a tough one what is my least favorite product never want to see it again never want to put it on my face again do not like you i feel like you ruined the video that's my least favorite i think my favorite was oh god what was my favorite i liked all of the others like i literally liked all of them i guess my favorite probably has to be this just because it's so cool so yeah i am now going to go about my day looking like this hope the doorbell doesn't go because tell you what i'm not answering it i mean to be fair i don't look that bad i'm just really regretting not finding an eyebrow product i was like oh it'll be fine it's the lack of eyebrows that i think is really throwing this off and probably the loveheart cheeks but i kind of think they look cute i am gonna go about my day i'll see you later when it's time to take my makeup off because we have some more products to test so i'll see you later okay it's been a few hours and i've decided i'm gonna take this makeup off it's a little bit earlier than i'd normally take my makeup off but when it looks like this i just want to get it off my face i want to say though this lipstick is really good like it looks pretty much the same as it did earlier and no matter how much you rub it like nothing comes off so the lip product lasts really well in fact i'd say everything has lasted really well i've still got my nice love hearts um but yeah it has only been a few hours just please let me get it off let me get it off apparently this went viral on tiktok at some point i've literally used this to take my makeup off for so many years for those of you that don't know this is what it looks like is the garnier micellar cleansing water it's basically a micellar water let's see if i can get this lip product off it literally feels like it's tattooed onto me so i'm kind of together it's not gonna come off why am i moving my head instead of my hands like instead of going like this i'm like but luckily it looks like it's coming off pretty easily oh my goodness the difference between my natural skin color and that foundation oh my goodness yeah that was just a little bit too dark for me just just a little bit wasn't it um i'm gonna keep going with this i'm just gonna get all my makeup off i'm gonna do it in a mirror instead of looking in the viewfinder i'll be back in a sec with hopefully a nice clean makeup free face oh you don't want that do you right that makeup is off of my face i'm very happy to see it gone that was that just didn't look good did it i've also washed my face again with this i gave it another little wash i also gave myself a little wash i didn't do my hair but i just had a little shower um and i'm now gonna do a face mask so apparently this face mask went viral on tik tok at some point this is the florence by mills mind glowing peel off mask it's a peel-off mask okay we're gonna have i got a little over excited then but peel off masks are so satisfying and it'll be satisfying for you guys to watch so this is oh it's lavender scented so this is what the packaging looks like it looks beautiful it's like a really nice purpley pinky color it looks so cool look at that color it's such a pretty like purpley pink color but it's also kind of got like an iridescent look to it i think it's beautiful right i'm gonna put it on my face i don't know if you guys can see but it's very thick like a really thick face mask which does make it a little bit hard to spread but we're getting there we're getting there i'm just gonna keep going with this i mean it is a pretty cool looking mask i'm guessing it probably went viral just because it looks really cool i mean it might also be amazing for my skin i guess we'll find out in a sec so yeah i'm gonna leave it apparently i've got to leave it for 30 minutes so i'm just going to chill for half an hour and then don't forget to peel it off i am really hoping i can peel it off all in one that would be so satisfying right i think it is safe to say this face mask is ready to get off my face is like peeling off on its own where it's so dry i'm going to start at my forehead [Music] rooney i'm all right love moon sat on the bed and he looks horrified at me i mean yeah look at me oh my god are we doing this are we doing this all in one i think we're doing it oh my goodness i did it i mean there are still a few bits left on there so i guess it wasn't quite perfect but i'm impressed with that i'm gonna get these little bits off and i'll be back in a sec i feel like it's left my skin looking quite nice it was supposed to be like a glow mask do i have a healthy glow now i don't know maybe a little bit and it's also left my skin feeling quite nice as well nice and soft although it has given me a slightly red face up there but that's fine that's probably why i look healthier because it's given me a bit of color for once the dressing gown has come out it is now the evening i've had to move down here where i've got my studio lights because we have now got no more natural light it is dark outside that that's what tends to happen in the evening so i have a fake tan but this is a fake tan for your face you guys might know i never tan my face like i don't think i've ever done it in my life just because the skin on my face is quite sensitive and i've always thought i feel like tanning products are probably gonna aggravate it but yeah today we're gonna find out oh it's for your face and your body i think i'm just gonna use it on my face and neck for this video just to kind of test it out i cannot be bothered to be dripping this on my entire body that'll take ages um so i'm just going to test it on my face and we'll see what happens please behave no allergic reactions we've been doing so well in this video so far so this is what the bottle looks like wait i don't think i've even told you what it is yet it's the isle of paradise self tanning drops i got mine in the shade light so it's on like a little dropper thingy like this and you basically oh it's quite thick you basically drop that into your moisturizer okay it's a really strong smell oh my god it smells nothing like fake tan carry out a patch test 24 hours prior to application i haven't done that and i probably should have done that knowing me i haven't done that i now don't have time to do that i'm just gonna do it i'm just gonna do it and hope for the best i'm gonna get my moisturizer i'm gonna obviously take this one that i tested earlier i'm just gonna squirt a load of it into my hand there we go i've got a dollop of moisturizer and then i'm basically gonna drop it says one to twelve drops i mean that's quite one to twelve well what am i gonna go for let's go for four let's go for four okay so i'm just gonna get a bit of it into the prepare there we go i cannot go over how strong that is and now i'm gonna do wait let me get you closer one two three four did you see that that was really awkward i mean it looks like nothing i don't know what i was expecting but right now it's completely clear it looks like nothing so i'm just mixing it around a bit to make sure it's all combined it now looks a little bit like this okay i think that is all blended into my skin um i think i now have to leave it overnight i'm now reading do not apply to hypersensitive skin would you say i have hypersensitive skin do i come under that category i'm kind of nervous now it feels okay so far i think i think it feels okay so yeah i am gonna go to bed in a bit and i guess i'll see you guys again in the morning and we'll see how my face is looking good night everyone right it's literally been about five minutes maybe 10 minutes and my face is itching like it's so itchy i'm trying really hard not to itch it cuz i know that's going to make it worse so there we go that'll teach me for not doing the patch test 24 hours before like i should have known this would happen like most things react to my skin so obviously something like that is probably not gonna work it's weird my skin's really itchy normally when i have a reaction it burns i'm gonna go and give my face a big old wash um okay my face has been washed i think i've got all of the product off it is still feeling a bit sensitive and a bit like but i think we're good i think i've pretty much washed it all off so yeah that was a bit of a fail i'm sorry i can't properly test that out but it just didn't really work for me i i don't know if it's because i'd just done a face mask and i'd sort of ripped my skin and it almost made it extra sensitive i don't know i'm kind of scared to ever try again but maybe i will but for today we ain't gonna be putting that on my face um but yeah i think i'm just gonna end this video i'm gonna go to bed soon i'm gonna try and actually sleep tonight that'd be nice
