(Face Reveal)

hello I'm disturbing um I didn't want to do a face reveal for some time but it seems like I'm going to have to do it uh which I'll get into in just a bit but before I start I know full well a lot of people are going to want me to uh want to hear me say this so this case takes place on the 1st of February 2024 now just recently I've been demonetized as some of you might might be aware um the reason for the demonetization is because of quote unquote reused content now what exactly reused content means I'm not entirely sure um but basically what it seems like is that YouTube are accusing me of taking other people's content and re-uploading it onto my channel without making any changes to the content and passing it off as my own now that's obviously ridiculous because I script I record and I edit every video uh essentially by myself so I'm unsure how YouTube have come to this decision but they have anyway so I got an email an email which no YouTuber ever wants to see saying that my channel is fully demonetized now when you get demonetized you do have an option to appeal just in case YouTube have made some kind of mistake um but for me unfortunately when I click the appeal button it takes me to a help page and it doesn't take me to the appeal page so it's a glitch which YouTube have been aware of for nearly 2 years but they haven't fixed it so some YouTubers can click the appeal and it works fine but for some others it doesn't work and I'm one of them people where the appeal button just doesn't work for me so I have no idea what to really do I've tried to reach out to a number of people on YouTube uh in hopes of getting this resolved but it's taking days when it should realistically only take a couple of hours so I have no idea what to do I did make one kind of uh not on a official appeal but kind of appeal through a different means uh through Google and they got back to me and they said no your content is definitely reused and I was like so I emailed back and said I can assure you it is very much all made by me and is not reused and they said our decision is final and essentially um I'm wrong so I asked them to tell me exactly which part of my content is reused and they told me they're not allowed to tell me so so I've been wrongfully demonetized they won't tell me what I've done wrong essentially they just literally won't tell me which part of my videos are reused or um and then I can't even appeal the process properly in a formal way so I'm a bit confused as to what to do I have tried reaching out on Twitter or X as it's called now but whoever is running that account uh what is it called I don't know YouTube something on on X they get back to me like twice but then they just ignore me now what it seems like is that YouTube have implemented a new Ai and this AI is designed to Target AI channels on YouTube and get rid of their monetization so ironically an AI is accusing me of being an AI um which isn't true so I'm a bit frustrated about that and I'm really sorry I I know a lot of you didn't want me to to do a face reveal because the kind of mystery of who the voice is is uh kind of interesting and I like being anonymous too but unfortunately YouTube aren't going to let me do that anymore so now this demonetization has happened to a lot of channels it's not just me um it's just recently happened to Disturbed reality which I'm pretty sure a lot of a lot of you who watch me will also watch him too it's happened to him same thing of faceless YouTuber so what it seems like is attacking faceless YouTubers basically and um just just without asking any questions or asking you to prove that you are not reusing content they are just instantly demonetizing you now in my opinion what a better way would be is to send an email and say hey we think you you are reusing content can you please prove to us that you are not um otherwise your channel will will get demonetized and I'd be like yeah sure of course of course I can prove it's not it's me and um all these videos are my voice and it's all my editing I can show you my um premere Pro uh data and sure you know this is me putting it together but unfortunately YouTube basically uh demonetize and then ask questions later or also they do owe me money and they're not going to pay me it so now unfortunately I do have to make a living from YouTube um to make videos is very timec consuming so unless I can get this solved I'm not too sure what to do I'd have to maybe resort to using a patreon or just getting sponsors for every video but even then I think what it seems like is a demonetization really affects the performance of your channel so I'm not too sure how long I'd be able to survive what I'd like to do is just get this sorted as soon as possible but if it doesn't it might be a good buy I'm not too sure we'll have to see I really have enjoyed every second of this YouTube channel and we've been able to do some really cool stuff and help actual victims of crime um so I'm very proud of what disturbing has done even though that's kind of me but I'm proud of what I've done I guess and I'm proud that I've been able to acrw an amazing fan base who have actually been able to been able to help victims too um but yeah I don't know it's very strange and I hope I can get it solved but if not I don't know what to do um and I'm sorry if you are disappointed with the first reveal I'm sorry if you disappointed about the demonetization I am very much too um but unfortunately it's kind of out of my hands uh so yeah thank you for watching
