I love the music in Final Fantasy 14 and today I am so excited because we're going to be listening to end singer the final day both phases talking about the music talking about live motifs of course [Music] thank you now of course you've played this if you're watching this video because there's a giant spoiler thing on the title that was the Ultima theme from A Realm Reborn now of course this features every boss theme from every expansion it's incredible how soken and the team have looped back every single theme and motive from every major boss every final major boss from each expansion it's incredible and I think it pays so much homage to the journey that we've been on for the last nine years to tie everything together I mean this is such an incredible it's it's astounding it's astounding that this is like classic operatic stuff people to take a theme that we hear like from three hours before and drop it into the Final Act boem does this I mean countless video countless operas do this where we reference things because we have an emotional connection to those motives it's so freaking smart [Music] foreign [Music] so there we have Heroes and uh Revenge 2 fold which is the king Thornton boss battle that we experience uh near the end of the heavensward expansion [Music] wow [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] foreign [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] foreign [Applause] and then here we just heard the Hades Phase 2 Invincible which is uh you know takes the theme from shadowbringers and uh and expands on it [Music] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] and let's take one more pass at this because it's amazing to listen to foreign [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] thank you [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] foreign [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] it's just so freaking sick oh gosh now we're going to fast forward into phase two which is incredible foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] now of course there we've got the makers ruined the warrior of Lights theme on top of the theme of footfalls which is such a beautiful integration of what we've come to know to be the theme of The Warrior of light and also to now highlight footfalls and to highlight end Walker as we bring the ending of this game to a culmination here it's ingenious and of course we're going to shift into Hearts aligned as well which again is is such a powerful message of Hope and of everything that we've been through up to this point it's incredible how we've combined all of these themes into one and now we're ending with this cinematic showcase of musically the journey that we've been on [Music] try [Music] me [Music] foreign [Music] I mean this theme is so fantastically profound you know it's hard to talk about it because in a way it's so deep and it's so rich and so much of this is about everything that's come and everything that we've worked towards and everything that we've we've put ourselves into by playing this game for as many hours as we have this was a love letter not only to the music of Final Fantasy 14 of the journey and the experience but it was also a love letter to us the people that were able to play this game to make this game as popular as it was to tie and to give us sort of a gift in this song as we reflect on everything that we've experienced in the game and I think that it's just so beautiful how it ties everything up into a ball and allows us to appreciate the work and the time and the energy that we've put into this game and I will always and forever say that Final Fantasy 14 is one of the few games in the history of gaming that really respects players time I really feel like this game doesn't ask that much of me despite the fact that there are endless things to do and to be consumed by I've never felt like the game didn't appreciate my time and my desire to be there so you know this theme is so beautiful and it makes me so happy to listen to it with you if you want to check out more check out this video about a
