I cannot believe I'm already filming this video it was just a couple days ago I filmed a video where I told you guys about my new truck or my new 2001 truck um but I had mentioned that I was also looking for a horse trailer because I want to get into flipping some horse trailers this summer um and I've been watching the market every single day multiple times throughout the day and what do you know this morning something popped up in my price range and it was 4 hours away in Massachusetts and so I got out of work early and I'm driving down right now it's going to be a long day I'm going to get home very late tonight it just feels like I mentioned this in my last video it feels like winds are changing and it feels like doors are opening and opportunities are presenting themselves but you have to be able to jump on them because if I sat and waited a day or two this trailer would be gone you you have to jump this is something that I've had to learn to do I didn't I used to be like let me think about it and let you know like that kind of thing but no it's like you got to you got to jump all right success I have a trailer I just pulled in I am so tired my body just like it's aching but I made it I feel like a hunter who spent the day out hunting and this is my catch and I'm super proud of it all right so let me show you my catch so this is my new horse trailer it's a 1992 Kingston so almost as old as I am but it's in fabulous condition for its AG so I'm really excited about that but yeah the plan is to do a little bit of work on it and then sell it and truthfully even just bringing this trailer to the market here I'm confident I could just sell it and make a chunk of change even if I wasn't going to do any work on it great purchase nice buy and you went and drove 8 hours the first time T by herself really super clean frame is amazing no like literally no problems with this one like really nicely done all right Nathan just popped in real quick but he's already gone anyway so these Kingson horse trailers are really popular around here they have a steel frame and then an aluminum um shell so they're lightweight they're bumper pole they're just a really easy to toe trailer so people love them here they sell very quickly um and they're just a really reputable brand so I wanted to consider that when looking for a trailer this is actually my I think it's my fourth Kingston we've um we've flipped a couple others before but anyway I'll give you a quick tour just to be clear this is not a Mustang trailer meaning that if you going to adopt a mustang directly from the BLM you would need to have a trailer that met the qualifications this trailer certainly does not it has the dividers and a ramp which I'll show you now but um one of the things on this trailer the doors did do not seal um very well so water gets in and this is one of the things that I'll have to work on both doors are like that I think that one might be worse but um it rained and the first night here we checked and yeah there was quite a bit of water that was coming in all right and so here is my ramp which you can't see there's my ramp these butt bars um can come fold down and when I introduce um a straight load trailer like this it's nice because you can swing this Center divider it's hard to film and you can swing the center divider to open it up so when I introduce them to this I will definitely have um this Center divider to the side to practice loading and have the doors open to bring more light into this space so when I first walked into this trailer on honestly one of my First Reactions was this feels like home I have spent a lot of time in trailers like this so um yeah it's just a very familiar feeling and yeah I don't know I'm excited for this trailer anyway I'll show you underneath which is probably one of the most surprising parts so while I was checking it out I did of course crawl underneath the trailer just to look at the frame and look at the rust because obviously there's going to be rust especially being in New England but really the frame is in great shape um there's some surface rust of course but all in all for a 1992 this trailer was very well cared for so we will scrape it off and undercoat just to keep it protected but you know this was this is a huge part of getting a trailer so underneath the mats you can see the floorboards which are in great shape um it's always something good to check the tires are also in good condition which was important for 4our haul to get here all right this is a little door stopper thing here but this is yeah the door um when we close it you can kind of see that it doesn't seal fully there so just some cosmetic stuff but nothing too serious we'll do a few things to touch up the outside um definitely power washing maybe painting um painting the rims um fixing up these doors and then of course underneath um but this trailer was just so wellmaintained there's honestly not too too much to do I've watched the trailer market for years and this trailer in particular this type of trailer in particular and um in considering the fact that I drove 4 hours to bring it here to this Market where I know this trailer is something that goes quickly and people want um I'm pretty confident on that so I'll try to clean it up add some more value to it and then sell it and it is going to be hard to sell because it was a good deal and you you get scared and wonder am I going to find something like this again um I do need to sell though because my hay money is right here so even though spring is just now coming on it is time to start thinking about winter next year because when the first haying starts I usually buy my hay off the field so this is my hay so I have to sell I'm not sure how long it's going to take um just because I have so much going on I am super excited to have this trailer in the meantime and I definitely plan on using it so I'm excited for that and I'm really hoping this works out how I hope it does I was at a store recently and I saw this rubber mallet which I very randomly just bought because I'm like oh I might need that sometime and what do you know a week later it was actually in my car still or a truck truck because I had just bought it and when I was getting the trailer I had I had to switch out the ball and I had trouble getting the one I was swapping out for in and so this rubber palette came in handy so that was kind it was just like really funny I'm like I randomly have a mallet ready to go for this moment so such a random buy it was at the dollar store and I'm just like rubber mallet I need that
