I have found professional valerant worst team and they've not won a single game at all with the concept of franchising coming into a place many partnered teams as well as regions set out to build their super team for the official season the thing is that not every team has the privilege of being a franchise team and so they have to play Ascension in order to play in the main league if you and is doing somewhat well crazy raccoon was fairly popular as they made it into several International tournaments and even though their results weren't that great they had a huge Japanese fan base which paved way for the rise of valerin in Japan after the partner teams were announced it was to be noted that crazy raccoon was not chosen to be one of them and instead it was detonation Focus me which shocked the entire scene as this would be a huge hit for valerin fans across Japan but if the team is able to pull off results and actually take down other Pacific Giants maybe we give them a shot the team then released their roster they had bought in a crazy lineup Soul Dam and sest from Korea and players such as Anthem and taka from r a tier 2 Japanese team this was the roster in mind and they got a chance to play a couple of games before the next VCT season had begun and although all the three games against paper Rex DRX and fnatic would end up being a loss it hurts to say this but they actually looked much better here than ever finally the VCT season begins and it's sou Paulo the tournament in which if you make one mistake you're out yeah so basically teams had to fly all the way down to Brazil just to play a few games and leave but let's not be so negative here maybe this tournament was a great way to start off the air showcasing what these partner teams have been prepping up for the last four months but as it was dfm's turn to play they proved the Japanese fans right they lose their first match against Giants and would win four rounds in Haven which was their first map pick people were not happy especially those who wanted crazy raccoon instead of dfm the local fans even begged dfm to pick up Northampton players for a better result as they believed that there were other Japanese players who deserved a chance in their partner team but it gets even worse now before I get into VCT Pacific on the other side which is Europe you have the French team Carmine who had an igl issue with the well-known player scream not just that they played so bad that at best it looked like your average bronze ranked game it's another 5v3 loss another 5v3 loss with took place the first match for dfm was against paper Rex who were arguably the best team in Pacific this was an expected loss from dfm but this gave them a chance all the more to prove what they were capable of the match didn't look great and although we'd see dfm execute some plays to the match individually the players all lacked the basics or maybe it was devis's performance that day but this was just their first game and their next game would be against jeni who had a a great start to the tournament but kind of fell off in the end the match began and things were looking good dfm were able to hold on to gen G that was until they started throwing rounds even with a man Advantage with these easy rounds given away dfm were only able to scrape away with one map and would eventually lose to genen suggest how however played an incredibly well game against genen and this was expected of him so maybe there was a glimpse of Hope heading into the third match against rrq rrq never really played well against the bigger Asian teams but it was a matter of inconsistency within the team this would prevent rrq from making it past the lcq and so much wasn't expected from this team when they replaced against dfm but dfm being themselves would choke both the maps to rrq and it was clear which team looked better on that day things were getting from bad to worse and if dfm did not win their next three games in the VCT Pacific it was almost over for them but there was a problem for the Japanese fans as their next match would be against Zeta division the crazy part about this match is that it was really clear from the beginning as to who who was going to win the game and dfm would once again prove his right this match angered the Japanese fans as they believe that dfm spot should have been given to a better Japanese team or Squad but I'll get to that in a minute your next game would be against team secret the Filipino Giants who had the reputation of winning so many upset games and international events with the likes of their usual star dubstep dfm would make a close match on Haven and soul would really show up for this match but they would eventually lose both the maps to team secret and would walk away with a very slim chance of making it out onto the VCT Pacific as their next game would be against DRX the most consistent top tier team in Asia as well as the globe when people think of DRX they think of discipline that's how much other teams respected DRX dfm to be honest had no chance of beating DRX especially since they were on a good streak until they fa paper Rex in the end but just as people predicted with Mako being Mako DRX would completely destroy dfm which then led to them having to play their last two games in the tournament dfm at this point had no chance to qualify and were simply being mocked as the worst professional team out there their next two games would be against Global Esports and Talon Global just like dfm were really inconsistent but had a great potential when it came to players showcasing their individual Talent after dfm played against Global and lost to them it was clear that the team was morly down there essentially isn't a lot to play for especially when you've only won two maps in the entire tournament and as far for their final game against Talon they would once again lose their map pick as well as the next map leading to the end of the Pacific run but it wasn't over there surely was a Redemption Arc right well it's sad to say this but things never really got better for this team they would be given a chance at Pacific lcq and they once again face Talon and after picking fracture it was almost certain that they would be out as they definitely would lose out on their own map pick once again losing to Talon on both the maps dfm would officially be done for the year and after stealing the hearts of the Japanese fans and building up a roster in the end it amounted to nothing and all the players would ever get was winning two maps in the entire t tournament but unfortunately the story does not end here dfm would once again reform their roster Iran suggests signing in new players during the offseason but even their three games during the off season would bring in nothing but disappointment to the fans getting to play Zeta as well as na'vi and bleed was a huge chance for them to Showcase what they had been building for the past few months but everything looks the same as their first Invitational but can we be sure on whether they perform the same this year dfm would end 2023 as the worst partnered team now not only did they get cooked in Asia but they never stood a chance with other teams this story of dfm is truly Unforgettable but as I watched them play other games it was quite impressive that they held their ground even as the Japanese team fell into one of the worst teams throughout VCT the fact that this team does not represent how insane the Japanese scene truly is shocks me the most as gifted Japanese teams such as crazy raccoon were thrown into tier 2 with no place to show off their growth as they'd always be shadowed by the tier one scene an important note to remember is that not all tier one teams are necessarily better than tier 2 arcs and sometimes some of them don't even deserve to be there with the new wct 2024 season coming soon it's only a matter of time before
