I GOT WORLD RECORD ON THE MOST RNG SPEEDRUN EVER

okay guys so 150cc hard CPUs all vehicles tracks in order balanced items 32 tracks but wait there's a twist we are playing with item rain and we're playing up the same speedrun rules as the 150cc category so no ultra shortcuts or glitch shortcuts and we're gonna be using Bowser jr. because I'm not taking the speedrun too seriously I also think Bowser jr. is great because he's such a small character and when you're in a mega mushroom you actually could still see what's going on unlike Daisy so there's a little bit of logic to it right let's get started guys 3 2 1 go I like this timer I like this way more than splits the best thing about having a timer like this is we don't have to split every track or every every Cup I get just as focus and enjoy the speedrun not getting all try hard this is gonna be the most casual speedrun ever I want to beat some World Records guys meet some more records oh nice so yeah Bowser jr. for those of you who don't know oh no no no what am i doing that was not worth it I saw two better items as I went for that mega mushroom but yeah Bowser jr. is great because when you're in a mega mushroom you can still see what's going on and I cannot say the same about the other characters that's a bullet Dogu bullying at school we're good we're good what am I going to get mushroom No damn I missed that Oh 109 oh that's great nice I didn't realize how that wasn't 109 I didn't even take shortcut - laughs what the heck that was almost we started at last well you we started a second behind the finish line we got 109 wild all right let's I hope we have that luck every single race there was just so many good items like I I missed a lot of good items and we still got 109 it's gonna be so oh I tried to go to the left and then I realized there was a wall there and then I took two half-measures and you never want to take two half-measures [Music] give me mushroom give me mushroom nope okay at least we got the hop ah there we go I feel so safe in a start because we don't have to worry about the shocks ever hey we're good the shock is a huge hindrance to your time in the speedrun I wrote for that and that nice because you lose so much time to get shocked oh my god we actually got that bullet dude that was such a last-second snag right there dude dude okay I will take it dude I will take it wow there's so much that could have gone wrong there man this is much better very good first two races let's not flub mushroom gorge that would be nice [Music] the bullet is like it takes such weird routes on some tracks it's like almost not helpful it feels like like Yoshi follows you and moved Moon Meadows doesn't take the best routes it's okay Meadows you're only gaining time when you're drifting when you're in a mega mushroom unless you're going off-road for obviously you're dodging items because you go I think you go the same speed is you really when you're drifting right and the mega mushroom but you go the same you don't go any faster on straightaway pretty sure that's how it works oh my gosh oh my gosh okay BAM shock dodge that is so lucky that is so lucky yes come on give me a pass these mushrooms dude Oh dude go go go oh no no no can't make this stuff up anymore Wow you be there like you either get past it all and you get some crazy time or you get swarmed oh my god 2:18 this is gonna be impossible this is gonna be the most impossible speedrun ever I'm very curious what our end time will be I'm very curious there is zero chance we with the no item time if we get like sub 1:20 that would be that would be clutch I'd be happy with the sub one hour 20 minutes be very good but you see a lot of luck you know a lot of luck and a little bit of skill and we'll be on our way to sub 1:20 the best time out of the two people who ran the category to my knowledge is 126 I wonder what character they used oh that was a shock not a star that was not worth it the shock doesn't do much no the mega mushroom [Music] good good good be the utmost RNG speedrun ever in the history of speedruns like just this category but sometimes you're blessed with just insane luck and other times you know nothing goes your way and you get to 1802 its factory I was popping off at the end of lap - on toads there we go there we go guys there we go this is so worth it because it makes me big the blue shell disappeared guys the blue shell disappeared did you see that the blue shell gave up it saw me in the Bullet Bill and the blue shell gave up all that is so funny there was another this is stressful I have to play like 20 27 more this is one of the worst looking tracks on 30fps there's just too much detail on the road and it really gets all blurry and stuff [Music] well that's not worth it but that's not where the Troy what am i doing make a mushroom parade right there we'll take one of them imagine if you if you kept hitting mega mushrooms and you kept getting bigger that would be cool you guys like that pow dodge right there I was pretty pretty spicy there's another mega mushroom and it was just in time dude just in time oh I feel like this would make you better at Adam rain like for online doing this category cuz you're just putting so many I want that bulletville but I can't get to it putting so many awkward situations that you must [Music] I can't call I got a concentrate I can't commentate right now there's so many obstacles in your way that you have to combat you know I'm not getting that gold that golden is a trap if I've ever seen one dude same with that star you guys see that star like half of was than I thought it would be I've only played the really easy tracks on vs mode on item rain when I do the world record challenges I've played you know I played Luigi circuit moo moo Meadows peach beach Yoshi Falls Mario circuit sherbet land shy guy beach those are the only tracks we played so far in that series and this is just playing them all in a row one after another no reset and you can see how things just go awry very quickly when you had a mushroom missing the emitter things go wrong very quickly in this that was a clutch poll I'm glad that was a star I couldn't really tell what it was I wasn't sure if that was a lightning or a golden her star I'm glad it was a star it would not have been worth it if it wasn't other items oh that was a bullet I love just moving in and out of things makes you feel like so pro at times [Music] I don't know why I'm dropping the shortcut like the CPUs do they even take the shortcut I don't think they do yes dude pull it come on dude give me like from any craziness but now I'm unprotected I need this mega mushroom we're going for consistency we're not we're not going all in on lines we're going on for all we're going for all of our items we're just trying to get decent times over and over trying to be consistent we're not trying to go for broke you know because that's how you get screwed over we learned on totes factory the hard way that we need to be in power items at all times because lab 3 there's just so many shocks and blue shelves we can't handle them we don't have what it takes Andrey's thanks for the hundred bits shouldn't this be on Team vs well there is a category that people actually run for this speedrun and they don't use team vs so we're not using team yes Matt's challenge the one that we have the video series on the world record challenge on item rank Matt when he originally made that challenge he used team vs so that's why we use team yes and it makes it easier obviously to beat the world record we're not trying to get elected sir we're doing a speedrun and the community agreed on the category for it to be no team yes because they wanted to be harder they want to be more difficult for that series we're trying to make it as easy as possible to beat the bull record times but this is like they're trying to make it there's no there's no easy way out with this category you know this is like we they want you to feel the we force the item rain the item rain brings upon the innocent racer I'm gonna go for that shortcut let's make a mushroom finally a power item we had a really dull lap one there didn't we yes I love dodging blue shells we need we need guys you have to tell me how many how many shocks and how many blue shells I dodge in the course of the speed run I want you guys to tell me because I have no idea look at this shortcut man I totally planned that I am having the time of my life right now with the speedrun this is the best sub goal I've ever had yikes give me mushroom oh we're going live playing it safe just in case there's a blue shot we can dodge another glue cuz you lose a lot of time for all that was a bullet I missed it but you lose a lot of time to get blue like four seconds or something stupid oh we don't need it there's a there's a bullet okay so I mean we're beating the cpu's body cath lab we don't have to worry about the CPUs at all which is great we do have to worry about the items they throw at us though this would be so much easier if it was strategic items but we are not playing on strategic we are playing on balanced items that's why there is an influx of house bloopers blue shells and lightnings there's a lot of area of effect items in Mario Kart Wii compared to other games in the series which i think is really cool it's a lot of interaction between the racers depending the doesn't really matter what position they're in I really like it I think Mario Kart Wii did a great job with their items and the way they function except for the thundercloud the thundercloud was the the big bright shining air upon many good decisions you know I think they did a great Oh star look at that they made great decisions I love the way the items like they feel you know in the game they feel great does that make sense I don't know like there's it's satisfying to hit someone it's you get a certain feeling whenever you get hit by an item I don't know it all it all makes sense to me the items the way they function in this game just feels great [Music] remember this is a a no glitch no ultra shortcut speedrun so we cannot be trying the maple treeway glitch otherwise I'd go for it for sure if I had to shrimps not one true I'm not that crazy oh I thought I saw a star no I could have swore I saw a star in that slope let's get another star yeah I should probably stop with the UM the shenanigans okay so there was a blue shell but apparently it just disappeared on us we take those I'm finding a lack of power items this has been a slow race for us one of the one of the worst ones yet considering we're small we're just losing time every second right now it ain't looking pretty I'm smaller game guys I'm small again uh this is not good this is oh my god already at two minutes and we're just entering the lap I knew this one would be tough though I really didn't know this one would be extremely difficult and I made some stupid errors like half of it's my fault stuff like that is kind of you know you can't really do much we're just not getting any good items Oh No bloop bloop Purser's bloopers are more terrifying the PAL blocks how many shocks did we get by this series three where would the good items game where were they this was so stupid 250 ouch what's next grumble grumble [Music] that was the hardest one by far we there was no good sorry I don't look at chat too much when I do the speedrun I try to focus I know some speedrunners are really impressive they're able to like look at the chat and speedrun at the same time I am NOT one of those people oh yeah the rock shortcut is not allowed in this category unfortunately otherwise we'd go for it but we're not allowed to for my knowledge so we will not be doing the rock shortcut even though I really want to do it I'm glad that you don't get powd if you activate a pallet first the pallet I think it just does nothing that was an awkward situation the reason I didn't hit that guys is because let me get this mega mushroom because I I was gonna hit a wall but then the blue show came so I should have hit it in hindsight oh well yeah guys the lava glitch is also not allowed so we're not doing a lot of which either lane exceed safe strats oh poor bull chain clutch mega mushroom bullet I really went for that bullet man if I did not hit that bullet we would have been in a we'll take it but the CPUs they they they drive as if the items aren't there so they run into really good items and they also run into really bad items they don't see the items they're not programmed to dodge and go for power items unfortunately I wish I wish they would be more entertaining we only hit one car I'm moving you I'm pretty sure it all there I miss the bullet wow the CPU actually got a red shell to almost hit me thankfully I had a protection item yes give me a mushroom thank you thanks I remember can't do glitch here either not allowed on the no shortcut category unfortunately boom shenanigans that happen where the blue shells disappear with too many items are in play like that is the legit thing that happens nice I'm okay with that I missed the bullet I missed the bullet and now I'm getting getting shocked at least I didn't get target ops right and it could've been worse oh wait wait yes there we go Hey look at the top left the bullet is squished just get us see that that's hilarious I love it love it gotta get rid of that blooper guys bloopers are terrifying on item ranging straight up dude no sugarcoating it Cooper's are like a legit item it doesn't feel like it solid cuz like you don't only get like 228 229 when you play it legit so like 240 yeah that was good Rainbow Road actually will not be that bad contrary to popular belief from my memory on Rainbow Road the items don't really fall on the road they kind of fall around the road because there's so much space around so this one will be this one will be fine I feel like this one will be a lot less strats for the fans I missed the mushroom going right between them I've already at 2:04 uh you know what I'm just gonna oh no I should have went for that mega mushroom in hindsight oh well it was just gotten anything too substantial in this in this race man definitely never got a bullet bail I mean I've seen one but there's been a lack of good items on the floor in this one it's so much easier to get the good items on tracks like shyguy Beach like the flat ones you know the following days you can see everything so much easier Oh God 3:12 that's like a custom track and time the beginning I just got completely screw in the beginning I last like 20 seconds like that should've been like 250 burns thank you for the hundreds come on Troy you could have done better RP maple treeway I tried my best man us SPR o for one for the 20 minutes H or you love your videos by the way have you ever been to st. Louis or plan to I have never been to st. can't use that to our advantage but we'll take what we can get right guys trapping the CPUs this was actually my favorite item rancorous I really like this one when we did the short cut the series where we did the the world record challenges well we're still doing that I think there's a few more tracks I can still give there's at least two or three that are possible and after that I don't know if it's possible it'll be extremely difficult after we do like Mario circuit three Mario Raceway Desert Hills after that I don't know if it's gonna be doable yes oh that feels good [Music] okay okay Bowser jr. because this is not a serious speedrun and I like when I'm in mega mushrooms I can actually see where I'm going a Bowser jr. and every single speed run ever uses Daisy or funky Kong so we're mixing it up I have the good valid reasons oh we missed a couple items but we were able to get at least one and it's not like we're able to get both bullet bills anyway because it's not like if you get a bullet Billa it makes it so you get to double the length of your bullet bill that does not happen so we're good I didn't go for a shortcut because I thought I'd get a mushroom because you you're raging like a buffoon then the game just gives you more bad luck because it thinks it's funny what if the game feel sorry for you then the game will be nice to you that's how Mario Kart works so if you ever having bad luck I just taught you why the game has its own AI it knows it has feelings it has emotions it has a sense of humor and you have to you know I don't know what I'm talking about I'm gonna stop I think there's some logic to this I really do I think the game does I used to be like nice the time trial D came out and back in like 2013 to 2015 I remember feeling like there was the game got to decide when I got through the fence or not I was like the game doesn't like me right now so it's not letting me get through the fence but then when the game feels like you know watching some interesting speedruns the game or some interesting time trials the game would let me get through the fence because it felt like so luck based but the DK mountain fence glitch ok desert hill should be fun I have yet to play this one on the series on the world record series and I'm very excited to do so because this track is one of this absolutely doable we can we can beat this one I believe we can beat this one the world record of this one are we gonna be the first try in the speedrun no I mean granted we need to use the play running on this one I feel like yeah for sure we'll
