I Got Trapped In Calico Desert

hey everybody and welcome back I spent my last 500 gold on a ticket to Calico desert and now I'm stuck here without a way home there are only a couple ways out of the desert that don't include dying so today we're gonna dive into the skull Cavern to raise some money and buy a warp totem to escape the watchful eyes of our Warden pinky lemon I guess how hard is stardew Valley if you start in the desert we're about to find out if we make some money here we can go to the casino because I do have a club card and we could buy ourselves a warp totem I gave myself a mini shipping bin so we could actually sell things and I gave myself a forest sword so I didn't have to try and kill things with the Scythe in the skull Cavern I did make sure to pick up a copper and get the letter from Clint so we have the furnace recipe oh also we can plant seeds here because I installed a mod for that and also we can sleep here because I installed them up for that too the bus is off limits pinky lemon is blocking the way we can go to Sandy's and we can buy seeds so we're gonna start as we would in any run by uh getting some wood and making a chest for herself I'm just gonna Park this right here let's go meet Sandy and give her a coconut and let's see if we can get some cash from whatever this might be yeah lost book that makes sense that's completely useless for us hello here you go all right if we want to plant some stuff we could definitely get some beats down but I think we're gonna just pop into the skull Cavern it's gonna take us a long time to get through any kind of progress down here I think this is gonna be like six hits five hits okay so we'll uh we'll see if we can even get anywhere in here mostly I'm gonna be looking for like boxes and resources I'm not too worried about combat in here as long as we don't get swarmed that's really going to be the only issue we're at a low combat level but the four sword has enough weight that we should be able to like knock things back and hopefully not just instantly get absolutely destroyed I can't do anything about mummies because I don't have any bombs I also don't have the recipe to even make cherry bombs yet we will tomorrow so that's what I'm talking about like they're kind of scary but we are gonna be able to like knock them back ooh that's rough come on I'm not afraid of you I will die if you hit me like two more times though and it takes me like 10 hits to kill you 20 experience nice all right that definitely hurt like a lot I think I'm just gonna leave and come back in okay no thanks gosh they hit like a truck when you're at combat level one oh look at us though going all the way down to level what three awesome all right do we want to take anybody on not really I don't think so I'm out of here this might be too easy we're making a ton of money that's the other problem that we have with this little box is that there's only nine slots in here so that's not a lot to work with let's do another dive we're doing okay I'm out of food though so I think I'm just gonna kind of get some resources here and not worry too much about going for like Gems or whatever should we try and kill a slime come on little guy I don't want to be attacking you facing down I'd rather be hitting you up there we go all right now we're Unstoppable I'll just be clicking here for like the next five years though nice got him let's get a little spicier and try and kill this guy too and then maybe I'll grab that gold and we'll go to sleep oh God I'm gonna go I am not gonna stick around when I uh I have no healing and I hear a serpent get out of here all right uh a very productive first day it's 10 p.m that is honestly later than I expected this is gonna be way too easy it's locked okay I guess we'll come back at nine let's just go see what we can find on the first floor here so many ghosts uh I'm just gonna grab these rocks and get out of here I kind of want to kill some ghosts because I want to get Omni geodes so I can buy a desert warp totem in case we do end up dying but I don't want to fight like six of them all right hello hello hello it's raining back home is that why you came here I don't know it's not raining where I'm sleeping okay so we had 18. let's get some beats down and then I think we'll go look for a little bit more uh like gems and stuff all right see what we can find here do we fight the big slime not when there's a serpent nearby maybe we'll try and kill the serpent though oh nice nice we're gonna need a lot of crits to get anywhere with any kind of speed at least there we go uh oh this is like some good resources actually I think we're gonna try and kill this slime it's kind of stuck here and once it pops I'm hoping they'll all just get stuck right in the corner yeah that's perfect takes so long all right nice so we got a combat level that's fantastic news I'm gonna just grab some more Stone here to get the mining levels up all right uh no thanks I don't need two serpents on my screen at once right when I step inside that's not how I want to live uh anything else on this floor that I want oh well there's uh there's a staircase over here or some ladder a ladder some ladder gosh okay grab the quartz I really want that Ruby actually ooh is that worth it um oh God no no no there's two more okay that's that's a bummer that stinks all right we almost have enough to make a furnace here already that's not bad and we're gonna get another uh mining level real quick there we go there we go I was looking for more copper so three I think I had 16 up there so I should have enough now to make myself a little furnace so let's get that make ourselves a little furnace uh we got no energy literally zero energy so I'm gonna go to bed okay not bad oh we gotta water our crops five days on these guys and then we're gonna be absolutely rich this is gonna be way too easy though I wasn't really thinking about how frequently we could find like gems and stuff so there's not really much of an end game fear here because I think we only need like 5 000 gold to buy enough key coins nice 80 experience wow so I really want a lot of rubies so anytime we find rubies down here we're gonna oh okay we're just gonna leave we're gonna kind of go out of our way to try and get those those are great for food uh no ah this one looks all right I see some copper over there got some iron I think we're gonna be all right I think we're gonna be all right eight eight hits on those wow five just to break the rocks and eight of her gold like that's wild all right how much copper do I have enough perfect looking good looking good oh hey oh uh I had a Quest from Clint to make a copper bar I guess I forgot about that beautiful let's get some iron cooking and uh let's see what we can do all right now we might have a problem because they kind of got split up a little bit if I can just get this one on the left killed oh we gotta go we gotta go let's run in for my life it's all right though slow and steady right if we go too fast we won't have a fun stream we'll just be done and then I'll just close the stream and not know what to do with my life okay I think we better go to bed I don't really have any food we don't have a lot of health or energy so let's just get some rest not bad 275 our beautiful beats are coming along very nicely let's take a look around have a very much HP like they hit really really hard so I kind of don't really want to deal with any mummy floors oh perfect just like I was saying you know what I'm just gonna go very cool very fun yeah this isn't bad we got one mummy here let's go ahead and go ahead and give them the business come here dude no I need you to just like get stuck in a corner that's exactly what I need if you could drop me like a Miner's treat also that'd be really cool no got some cloth though that's gonna be some good cash we'll take that for sure also take this and let's just kind of peek our heads down here see if there's a whole lot of Danger on the other side here waiting for me uh not too bad we can handle this so we're now at floor two if we make it to three we will tie our deepest dive and if we make it to four that is a whole new record oh nice absolutely oh my gosh I'm just swimming in it right now what do I get rid of the quartz I guess right or maybe the gold I think I'll get rid of the single gold ore I'm not gonna be getting a lot of uh all right I guess we're done wow I I did not expect that the whole point of my stream was like I was gonna save up money and then go buy one and then one just falls into my lap all right we'll just get rid of it you can edit that one out all right uh we never saw that all right let's uh let's see what's at the bottom of this because this is now gonna be our deepest dive we fell five levels and we are now on level seven let's get some good kills here some good experience okay there we go all right almost at level two combat already not bad not bad uh let's just sneak through here and go check this chest I swear if this is another warp totem or I mean if this is a warp totem that I've never seen before I'm gonna be just furious oh copper fantastic I think we better go back up pretty quick here um I don't have space for like anything all right so it's only like noon we're actually doing pretty good on energy I don't necessarily want to eat my spicy eel today if I don't have to I'd rather save it for a good luck day and just stack those luck bonuses I haven't really considered upgrading the backpack I guess we could I don't know you know what let's do this let's do this we're gonna just make our own backpack here here I found a piece of cloth I'm gonna go spend some money to like simulate buying it and then I'm gonna pretend through the power of imagination that I use this cloth to make myself a backpack boom and then we just go in here uh inventory size 24. fantastic the power of imagination so yeah now we have a bigger backpack Sandy is going to be like our our jack of all trades person she's gonna be doing our tool upgrades backpack upgrades we love Sandy in this house oh God ow all right we're just going to bed well I'll go look real quick yeah we're going to bed sitting there waiting what a jerk all right let's get some rest got mining level three that's pretty awesome that's pretty quick too oh I think I forgot to water my stuff yesterday all right perfect um we need to make a little bit more money because even if we have the copper we don't have the cash to upgrade our tools so you know what that of stick around actually see if we can't find a hole to dive down into see if we can break our record seventh floor so far is the uh farthest that we have been I'm not afraid of you it's a good luck day so I can eat my food gosh this does take forever though [Laughter] and we leveled up level three combat we are just cruising up the levels nice all right all right a little slow though which honestly could be an issue so we'll test this out see if we can handle the the lack of speed rather oh uh yeah crazy wow what a what a great treasure area everybody we did it we found uh a whole bunch of stuff in these boxes over here including a brand new weapon but that was it you know that was it what else could we find oh a diamond hey this has been a pretty good run y'all we got some cash in our pockets here we're gonna be able to sell this stuff and upgrade our pickaxe I don't have any bombs I have some copper I guess we could kill this guy see if we can get some cloth no dice but we got some stairs let's keep going what are we on now floor eight that's a new record dang we might actually get to like double digits in the skull Cavern today that is insane to me oh no we won't because this is a spiral floor and we got serpents maybe this guy will be kind and drop a a staircase for me oh yeah all right double digits level 10 but I I really do need to like leave okay go ahead and get that first hit there and that's it that's the only one you're getting chump dang we actually have like a good Loadout get ourselves some triple shot espresso some spicy eel we are like ready for like an actual skull Cavern run so I guess we'll go back in and see what we can find nice we'll take this Oozy scoozy excuse um let's kill this big slime see if we can't get some uh some combat experience does this thing have a defense bonus too oh yeah plus three defense dang that was a good find ouch ouch come here come here fight me you coward oh he he fought me got what I asked for um I don't want to fight these slimes I just want to grab this rock can you jump real quick okay thank you all right let's get out of here we're gonna have a ton of money tomorrow this has been a good luck day which I guess makes sense because it's a good luck day let's see let's see let's see I'm hearing things that I don't like to hear but I just I don't know I feel so much more Brave now that I have like a dungeon appropriate weapon you know what I mean like these guys are like no big deal now it's wild how quickly that changed from like running away at the very sight of them wow 10 hits 150 experience though I think we'll just trade in our Diamond again for more coffee oh it's late dang it's 11 20. we made it through like a whole day y'all we're actually going to bed at night for the first time on the stream today that is wild to me all right here we go off to bed night night 2200 that's enough for our upgrade so here's what I'm thinking we need to do we'll like put our pickaxe in for upgrade at Sandy's shop and then tomorrow or the day after rather we'll go back and get it that's what I'm thinking so Sandy I'm here for my tool upgrade I heard that you you can basically do anything with the power of imagination so here's a coconut we'll go like there we'll do that put that and that in there and then there we go so now tomorrow we can just like and move it gosh I am just the most creative person ever in the entire world oh my gosh how do I do it I just don't know uh now we have basically nothing that we can do for the next couple of days so I think I'm just gonna water my crops and sleep just gonna water my crops and sleep I think that's about all I can do I don't know why I made that little counter system other than because I think I'm so cool but like am I gonna wait until nine o'clock to go in there to move it that seems kind of dumb I guess I could cut down this tree while I'm waiting and tomorrow's gonna be a beet Harvest day very fun and we'll get ourselves just a little bit more wood boom done cool and it's 7 A.M so now I have nothing to do until uh until Sandy opens and I don't have my pickaxe so I can't even like try and be cool well I guess I could like just look around right there no all right well this has been an exciting day so far of beating up the Earth for no reason all right well whatever we're going inside uh whatever hello perfect tomorrow we'll come back and we'll get our pickaxe for today I'm going to sleep and off to bed 120 bucks gosh we are just absolutely rich just swimming in cash right now we got 1254 dollars uh and I think it's harvest day yeah it is fantastic we're gonna get some beets amazing all right so these are actually pretty much terrible for energy so that's pretty cool I don't know what to do now I should have bought some more beats yesterday so I could replant them I don't think I'm gonna plant any more crops though to be honest I think that was a fun idea but I can just make more money from the mines so that's what we're gonna do instead I don't have my pickaxe yet this was pretty stupid uh oh nice oh that was worth it I guess uh uh well I guess I could just reset the first floor looking for boxes like that was already definitely worth my time am I gonna just sell these I think I will just sell these that's fine uh hey let's let's see if we can get rid of some ghosts gosh takes so long to kill these because they just leave nice some Omni geodes that means I think we can buy our um warp totem now that should be enough right because I think I already had a couple yeah one two in yet so I'm gonna do this Sandy you beautiful woman you've upgraded my pickaxe for me and I actually already gave you two gifts all right never mind um and let's see I need a copper pickaxe wow the fabulous fabulously talented Sandy does it again and we start over for next time all right now armed with our copper pickaxe I think we can really do this I think we can for sure get the resources we need to escape this terrible desert legitimately and without finding a warp totem inside of a box but I kind of can't really deal with mummies yet so it's not gonna happen on this floor uh this is more promising oh my gosh the power is just insane I'm unstoppable now I can break gray rocks in a single hit I have absolutely no magnetism though so I gotta like stand right next to everything that I break oh my gosh where'd you guys even come from yikes that was ugly good thing we have this tasty tasty white algae to heal us up nice all back to normal okay let's go kill this slime come on buddy let's get you up here so this doesn't turn into another uh serpent issue oh wow that was surprisingly like uneventful all right a little anticlimactic there so what are we down to like four hits now only three not bad not bad at all I think we can handle this wait I'm only on the first floor why am I trying so hard to find stairs oh stairs where could you be are you hiding inside the Slime there we go I've always wondered why is it that stairs appear after you kill enemies like what's the in Universe reason for that were they living inside the enemy the whole time did your disturbance like unearth them ooh fancy 15 levels oh my goodness all right let's survey the situation we got a couple of mummies but we did find a bomb we also have like a new record here obviously so that's pretty fantastic and we got some more cloth and a treat I should probably drink my coffee too let's go ahead and do that now let's have ourselves a bit of the old triple shot espresso find the Need for Speed problem with that is again I have no magnetism so if I break anything I just need to stand there for a second even though I'm incredibly fast oh stairs where could you be well I was uh starting it oh okay there we go I was gonna say I was starting to feel a little like optimistic but the truth is if it takes me three hits to break every Rock uh we might not have like the food stores to get very far we need to be kind of luckier than than I was on that floor I could eat another one of my spicy eel oh yeah all right cool let's go 15 levels okay so we are on floor 33. that is uh that's pretty wild come here dude I need you to come over here so I can kill you oh my gosh you're so slow and I am so fast right now but I wanna I want this gold ow ow ow sweet dang we are moving down we are absolutely cruising further than I really honestly ever expected to get into the cavern I kind of thought that by the time we could make it this far we probably would have left gosh like I don't want to leave because we're having such a good run okay well there that solves that problem eight hits eight hits to get one of those iridium nodes that is tough that's a tough sell oh gosh I didn't even see you oh there's another one too can you come right over here dang that hurt all right come on come on little dude let's go come fight me oh oh okay he just he just disappeared just off screened a serpent that was on the screen um that's fine I guess let's just see if we can find any stairs if we could hit like 40 today that'd be pretty cool do I just need to eat another one of these kind of do what happened to all my luck oh okay all right what do you think everybody can we get another 15 floor drop shaft seven that's actually really good like I would be happy with a seven floor drop we're flying we're absolutely flying through here oh we got some boots nice some dark boots plus four defense absolutely styling too oh gosh raise your hand if you uh actually utilize the block function in stardew Valley consistently I pretty much always forget to use it oh gosh I gotta get out of here nice made it floor 47 and it is 12 midnight I don't know if we're gonna hit 50 but we're definitely going to give it a shot we'll give the old College try as they say ow can you guys just leave me alone like I honestly I just kind of want to leave now I don't want to pass out in here because I'm really not sure what's gonna happen if we fall asleep somewhere at 2 A.M I might wake up inside my bed back home and that's unacceptable so let's just run upstairs real quick we'll just sell that and these and this and that's uh that's everything and let's get some sleep yay okay combat level four ooh minor or geologist well for the sake of earning money which is kind of what we're doing I think we're gonna go for geologist all right now that we've been playing for what is it like almost two hours I think we're finally finally gonna be able to escape from this wretched place and it won't be because we found a warp totem randomly in a chest we're gonna do this the legitimate way buying a second currency with our currency like it's a mobile game and then using that for special items I got nothing I'm sorry but I can't get into the the casino yet anyway so we're just gonna do a little digging first excuse me sir I bet I could just kind of like oh there's okay well that I hate it when I'm like all set up for really cool like boxy end of the corner fight and then they're just like no there's actually no more baby slimes cowards weaklings oh um gosh I'm so hurt I'm so beat up I think we better go we gotta go check the casino store to see if we can find a warp totem to get out of this terrible place cannot take it anymore the desert is too terrifying for me hello Sandy it's very nice to see you again um I have to go upstairs yes thank you I love buying these individually all right hey is there anything here that oh I could buy some hardwood fence oh warp totem oh my gosh what is what is this that is so crazy that's wild I've never seen one of these things in my life it'll take me directly to my house wow Emily get out of here and with that we did it everybody we overcame the skull Cavern from level one combat made it all the way back to our home on the farm we we definitely labored and it was dangerous but uh we overcame all of the obstacles and now that we're here um we're just gonna go to bed it's beautiful [Music]
