I Designed an UNRAIDABLE Tower Base in DayZ..

all right a new day means a new daisy adventure and today we're playing on re-armed valming now if you guys know Val ning I played on here like two or three months back and it's a small little Island map so I thought why not happen as a solo and see how far I can get as you might expect this adventure was about to get hectic I was gonna have to adjust to living in an island environment and I was gonna be hunted down by many different types of groups with most people having far better gear than me let's just say this was definitely gonna be one of the harder challenges I've ever faced but regardless of the challenges I made it my goal to build up a base and survive oh someone's getting sprayed I need to get a gun with ammo nice valming is quite the small map and that meant that I was going to be running into survivors fairly soon so my first goal was to get a gun and I got lucky enough with finding a P90 at the local military base with this in hand I could Now look for other players this guy threw it in there what does this guy have oh he's a bag nice we'll take that boys we take that I think I hear somebody out back what the hell is going on in this military man there's just dead people everywhere all right we gotta run I don't really have that much ammo left I have a few rounds in this with a better bag and some new supplies I began making my way south towards some gunshots that I had heard what the [ __ ] oh this Duo I killed had taken out a few other players and all of these IDs would sell for some good money if I could just make it to the safe zone so I continued South friendly friendly friendly friendly little kid outside y'all are not friendly oh all right we need to get to Trader and go buy some Base building stuff I think that's gonna be the most important thing right now you've probably heard me say this about a million times by now but when you're playing on a server like this and especially as a solo getting your base up and sleeping bag is the most important thing you can do and so far this was looking like the perfect start if I could just quickly get in and out I could get everything I needed to build and then I would be in a really good position going forward but you guys know how Daisy is and things don't always go to plan thank you Ah that's unlucky I'm lucky we run again man we do it again I was just steps from Trader but somebody caught me as they were coming out and that was unfortunate but I was okay with that because I knew I was going to be dying a lot so I had to just try to stay optimistic after respawning I was able to pick up a box of nails and then I made my way towards a nearby military once again that guy's a gun Winchester that's big I said AK there's a guy here he might have some [ __ ] I might have to take him out he's a gun foreign not bad got some stuff let me check this guy real quick this might be a bait but with some new gear to sell I made my way back towards the safe Zone hopefully this time I could actually get inside oh there's a body here that is not good boys this body's everywhere let me in oh we made it we made it we're the trader thank God off to a decent start we did die but I'm gonna die a lot because I'm playing alone so I expect that but we got an MP5 we got some Nails I should be able to sell some stuff too that's why I'm killing as many people as I can because these tags sell for like two or three k which is nice so we just need to really get as much money as we can get our little starter base up and uh go from there let me sell some stuff now all right let's go hopefully I don't get sprayed down again I'm thinking of building up here near Kevin airstrip I think that's the best spot to build that what was the face here well there was a base here once I got to the islands out west I made a little stash with all of my base Building Supplies I still needed a code lock which I didn't have enough money for so I was gonna head up towards the Airfield to see if I could find some people and get lucky let's see if this stash is here might be some uh hidden stashes oh there's a body oh no poor guy got murdered here I think somebody's in here pretty sure somebody's in the ATC I swear somebody's in there all right we gotta look this guy spaz 12. pretty good that so naked it's probably the guy I just killed do I want to kill him again he's gonna just pick up a gun I probably should wait he didn't die what is he doing up there this guy's just sitting up top I don't know if that was a guy until I closer looked in he was looking right at us too or at me he's just prone you could see his oh he's coming down you're gonna run back up I need to find like barter stuff that way I can build my base I just need like one or two good barter items we have a golden watch right now we have a gunpowder which should sell for some decent cash but yeah we gotta keep looking maybe there is nobody in ATC maybe I was wrong this whole time if that's the case I'm just going to check this whole military I think I see a guy there was a guy in ATC I knew it and it's been like a bloodbath in this building look at all the [ __ ] body bags like a 99 sure there's a guy in here I just heard a footstep I believe if he is in here he's either one floor under me but most likely he's gonna be up here I think that's the guy on the tower we saw that resembles him greatly maybe it's a two-man the first guy I killed is there any more we gotta quickly clear not we're good we're good just two guys oh okay let's suppressor sells for a lot that Bram it that's like enough to get me a base right there I need to go oh my God Jack Daniels I think that's worth a lot I'm thinking I might set up base on this little island here it's in the middle of everything and it's not exactly like a quiet spot but it's a good spot to be it's right across from Trader close to militaries up North so there's not going to be like super heavy gear people here compared to down south zombies here wait a minute this is big I need this oh this used to be a base you know what maybe I throw my bass down in here or like the shed I just moved the crate over have this as my little starter quiet little spot there's the trader you can see it across God I'm so dead if I go there I already feel it man someone's gonna be camping it's gonna be Mr Hustle Man after confirming that I was gonna be living on that island I went to the trader to do some quick selling and I was able to make around 50 000 off of this run which was enough to buy everything I would need to set up the base oh no the [ __ ] box despawned wait was it ruined could that be why oh that's such a bomber man or somebody took it someone may have took it actually because I think the stuff would not be in the ground if it despawned and there was like Hammers and stuff so somebody must have just came here TC will fit perfectly right there so we're just gonna authorize real quick and then I am gonna go get some wood and we're gonna build this bad boy up oh my God there's an airdrop right there no ah I gotta build I can't really it's not gonna be easy to go for that to be honest it's a swimmer we're gonna have to go loot that guy I don't want to shoot but that guy could be loaded he's going for the airdrop okay I put a wall there that's perfect okay that's secure we just need a door over here and we're all set bass is pretty much secured now I just gotta block the top of both sides just so nobody crawls through I'm gonna just put half walls those should be perfect now the issue with this base is anybody could technically step ladder to the windows and like spray me through them so I'm gonna have to somehow block that off as well uh we'll have to see though I'm not sure I'm gonna do that just yet oh what the heck sheet metal that's huge animals in I can upgrade my uh door to sheet right off the bat which is gonna give me a lot more security the base was secured and I was settling in pretty well but I'm gonna be honest with you guys there was a lot of tower bases surrounding me on every side and I was getting a little bit nervous that one of these groups were gonna come and start messing with me but as for now things were pretty quiet so I took this moment to get more wood and continue on upgrading the bass as much as I could nah bro imagine they got like a 50 cal pointing it at me that's an interesting base though we're gonna make a few wooden crates just to hold this stuff so it doesn't despawn on me and then we're gonna head to the Airfield and get some syllables because I'm getting a lot of money I'm gonna need money for nails for storage for just about everything someone's shooting this direction you can hear the snap all right I went outside to investigate the fight going on across the water and while I was out there I found the military crate that I had seen in my building earlier I'm pretty sure somebody stashed it here so they could come back and grab it later and I was really lucky that I found this before they did because this thing went for a lot of money at the trader oh he's there he shot me he's just sitting on that island I think I can kill him oh that was low what the [ __ ] foreign well I'm out of 308 two guys those guys are kind of geared they're coming down to the rocks wait he's swimming no okay I gotta go for this I wish I had a scope let me let them get out in the water so I can get comfortable a little bit whoa wait Palestine to go swimming like that should literally be coming right through them oh he just got just got hit they're kind of pindy think I could swim back and flank potentially or will they see me here I'm gonna try I'm gonna try this might be a stupid idea but I took a big risk and I failed but you know what it wasn't the end of the world I could still spawn up north and try to get some more supplies and head back to base if I can get a gun here I can probably kill a bunch of people and go back towards base with a bunch of barter stuff hit airfield on the way that's kind of my goal right now I think this will be the easiest way to really like progress and get stuff oh see like this guy got a shotgun can scope barter stuff see that's what we need right there that's what we need oh my God look at this you get more gear from areas like this than you get from the in down down where all the good gear is like down south my game plan for the next few hours was just to PVP up north where it was less competitive but easy to get a bunch of sellables so every time I would spawn here I would kill a few people go deposit at base respawn and do the same thing again and this was actually making me a solid amount of money there's a guy with the gun here I'm about to stun lock him and take it oh he did he did uncon I was about to say bro this guy didn't uncon on that I don't know that would have been stupid I'm a little bit low though actually I'm very low [Music] I'm just gonna kill myself here and come back but first let me grab my gun which I think is right here here I am surrender hey put up a fight you know we give him that we give him that [Applause] there's a sniper too there's a guy on top of the tower again what if it's the same guy from earlier fresh spawn I'm not gonna kill him it's just gonna waste my ammo [Applause] I'm gonna go for a position on the guy in the tower try to headshot him like from behind maybe he probably won't pay attention and then I can go up and get a sniper because I really do need a Winchester oh he's running down he almost just fell off right there foreign I don't think I can loot that man what there's another gear guy what is up with these guys going up this Tower that guy actually has really good stuff though let's see where he goes so much to the left here like I just heard somebody hold lock take that you know can I take his bag actually I can I can go deep although this is a good little haul this isn't too bad I'll be happy taking this home alive this island like it's in a good spot but just to swim every time it stresses me like I could be loaded and I have to still do the swim which makes me a One-Shot kill as I got towards base I saw that there were a bunch of bodies All Around My Island and it seemed like a major fight must have gone down right after I died and I needed all the gear I could get so I got to Scavenging The Leftovers I'm just gonna Depot then I'm gonna come back and check these bodies what does this guy have oh not bad oh my God this guy's wait this guy's [ __ ] he took that AK I need that I'm gonna come back I'm gonna Depot I'm gonna come back and grab all that stuff oh yeah here's the other body I saw the tree oh two bodies here AKA Nails why did nobody loot these guys yep we're depoing there's a plane coming in oh there's an airdrop at prison we gotta go we gotta go perhaps the best part about living on this island was the fact that the prison was right across the water from me this location spawned some really good gear and gunpowder but more importantly almost every single airdrop for some reason landed in this location meaning I could be the first one to get these almost every single time oh nobody got it okay we take that we take that we run not bad got a little rifle out of it what is that MacMillan not too bad honestly after the prison run I grabbed all my stuff and went to the trader once again to do a quick little solid run and this time I was able to make another 50 000 which let me buy some very useful stuff most importantly a sleeping bag so I could respawn on the island afterwards I went out for a quick little roam around my area to see if there are any bases I could get into man this space is funny I wonder how much is in there wait this is damaged is this decaying too I feel like you could crawl this wait there's a frame whoa if I destroy that frame could I not go in you gotta be kidding me that is so close to getting in so for the main base I'm thinking of just putting it up there I gotta look into it I don't know if I can easily build up there but if so that would be a really cool spot because it gives me a height advantage over like everywhere else good see if I can get behind him here it's probably still up here I left my Mosin where'd he go though are you swimming I think that's him he's dead holy man I think that's him that oh no there's another one there's another one there's another one oh man that's a lag that is a heavy lag is he dead he's dead he's dead this was him he had a Benelli else okay why do I somehow feel like there's more oh hit red key so 44k two boxes of nails uh military radar station key where is military radar station it's probably down south isn't it I don't know but let's just Depot as much as we can and we're gonna go check that guy in the water because he might have a lot too after that kill I started chopping down trees with a sense of urgency I was pretty sure that the guy that I killed lived nearby and he was gonna respawn on his bag and come back and Camp me so I wanted to at least get an airlock up in my base that way if he did catch me at the door he wasn't going to be able to get all the way to my loot in order he lives like he probably lives somewhere in this direction he was running here with all his stuff like red key and all this cash and [ __ ] so he definitely lives like over on that island somewhere it might even be that big tower base it definitely could be all right let's get the code lock real quick just lock that and then I'll finish sealing it oh he's back I can hear him he's outside right now yo what's up buddy making some planks it's in there yeah this definitely makes the planks it's probably pissed he died see good thing I got the airlock up I knew he was gonna do it he's gonna come back yeah he's just camping me he went to like the southern side of my base I'm pretty sure he's mad he's so mad he buys a good kid out he's lucky this glass is impenetrable otherwise I could have gotten Moses and killed him my roof he has okay that dude just ate like 500 bucks shot after another unlucky death all I could do was respawn and try to make my way back towards the base at least this time I died inside my base so this guy wasn't gonna be able to get anything off my body so in the end I didn't really lose anything I actually ended up gaining so much more stop the name of the law ah this guy's full geared I think he has a teammate he said something oh oh my God he's loaded what what's going on what's going on to Daisy he was talking in Discord his teammates 100 of his teammates what is you doing pal what thank you all right he's pissed he's actually pissed I should have died I can't even deny that man that dude should have had me I guess this is his teammate oh this gotta be his teammate all right I'm running I'm actually bleeding out I need a bandage here oh he's a Bitcoin what no way he had a Bitcoin tucked away in this bag yeah we we actually gotta go to Trader I'll just leave it at that you know Daisy works in mysterious ways if I hadn't died at base then I would have never gotten this opportunity to kill the guy to bitcoin and get all these sellables which would go on to make me a ton of money although everything worked out for me this time around I still had the problem of my base it was far too easy for someone to get on my roof and attack me and with half of the crazy armors these guys are running there was nothing I could really do I mean the last guy I hit him with about five shots and he just did not even get hurt and on top of that the guy that I angered was probably part of one of the bigger groups around so that meant he was probably going to be back to Door camp or even worse raid me so I had to take advantage of this island and move to a better spot the weird thing with these windows is that even though this is wide open I think like in the game it's not really a wide open window like I think this is all just one panel but they just made it look cracked I don't really know why they did that but I'm pretty sure none of my shots really did anything to him right there which is unfortunate now I thought about this overnight I was thinking maybe it's time we move to be honest but I'm not gonna move far I'm just gonna move to the tower in the middle of the island because I'm thinking about it right we're on this island it has a perfect view of like major points of interest you got the prison airfield's just that way Traders simply right here what if we harnessed its energy we have a tower in the middle of our Island what if I build like a watch post type base up there like an interesting base on top of a tower I could see anybody swimming because they have to use this island to hop so say someone looted prison they gotta hop through here to get the traitor so essentially I could build a base at an elevated position where I couldn't easily get raided like yesterday or attacked like yesterday and then you know we could see if anybody's swimming and any movements people are making I think it would be much better than my current living situation and this base yeah I think that's what I'm gonna do so let's go check the tower out and then I'm gonna go get wood I'm just gonna straight up start building honestly oh my God what is he doing foreign no way why can't I get up now like I literally tested this as I built and it was fine and now I can't get up and I'm stuck on the ladder oh no there's a heli this is bad boys I can't get down and I can't go up there's vultures flying around my base had a major flaw I couldn't get up the ladder into it and anybody that got on the ladder would get stuck at the top making it almost impossible to get out but I was able to find a little way to get around this all right after that let's go ahead and try to keep expanding this now the ladder doesn't work unless you do a little trick which I just figured out so if you auto run on the ladder and then log out when you log back in I'm pretty sure it places you on top of the ladder we'll have to test it out somebody's getting sprayed over there yeah I see him on the hill this is right there seems to be geared he just killed somebody he's on his body damn fighting like a big sniper that's a freak girl um anyway as I was saying this ladder is kind of functional you basically have to auto run while you're on top of it log out and it'll let you through now it's very inconvenient but I'm thinking you know if I ever get raided and they come up that ladder they're gonna get screwed because they're gonna get stuck on it and a lot of them probably don't know that trick I just did where you have to auto run and relog oh there's a guy right here what the heck [Applause] is he actually solo God he's loaded he's loaded or not loaded but his Armor's [ __ ] disgusting wait his keys nah this guy's not solo there's no way things were finally starting to go my way I had a high tier kit now and my base was basically unratable unless somebody knew the little trick I used to get in and I even tested it one more time just to make sure oh it works let's go so now we know we can get up here for a fact I did it twice 100 it works that's kind of broken that's honestly broken like if someone actually tries to climb up here during a raid well first off it's almost impossible to even climb a ladder but even if they get up here they can't do anything they got to sit there I can just literally swing the door open and kill them up here No One's Gonna really be able to get my stuff I just gotta steal off the roof which I'm going to go do right now but overall this is very good and it makes the island just a little bit safer after I finished up on the tower I noticed that my friend M NYX had joined the server and he told me he was gonna come check out my progress hello hello damn bro you're looking dumb that's the one with the red pants hey man I've been I gotta go cut wood that's why yeah give me a second I'm gonna go quickly cut cut some wood and then I'm gonna finish the tower and then we can go I think we go Trader because I want to buy code lock ready oh go go go go go go we're getting sniped that's definitely a nice right yeah I think so I don't know where he is I think he's very far like it could be across the water nice that's done oh was the the boat is coming right here I think so wait let me see no no it's going yeah no no they're coming they're coming oh there's another one there's two boats I'm coming down I'm coming are they Landing yeah yeah one jump in the water on me on me I'm coming down coming down hold on hidden ones try to run back if you can hit him twice hit him three times I bet how many how many one more only one only one who is he on my body I'm dead are you in that little shed are you behind it no no no think I killed them they're at that boat in the ocean they might snipe me oh this dude's kitted pvl it's just the one guy right yeah I only saw the one guy dropping off that jet ski all right I'll just steepo and I'll come back and get the rest of his [ __ ] I killed one I killed one uh on the jet ski out there nice I need to go for that guy it could be loaded wait that's a heli bro there's a hell in the water they just unwrapped what the [ __ ] is going on I think it's just one though I don't see anybody else unless one's in the heli [ __ ] man good stuff no no one's sniping there's a sniper yeah a new yeah you're right or maybe I go back to my base oh someone's shooting at him yeah yeah he's getting shot at you right it's coming from prison side 100 someone's outside really uh-huh he ran by he's like at the door okay don't open the door if you're here oh I see him I see him he's in the shed so he's a fresh spawn no he's a gun he's a rifle okay I need a I might need to go out I assume you're gonna get him oh I'm gonna snap that from where uh prison try to kill him if you can I'll try to find the sniper um I'm shooting through him by the way he's right across that prison oh I see him I can't shoot through this glass [ __ ] stop Aim so I can't really do much uh either I traded with him or you die I don't know yeah he shot me I'm dead how did you die I don't know someone's close I guess please tell me this door closed okay dark closed but my body's outside we weren't really sure what went down here but it looked like a group was trying to recover a helicopter from the sea and we just happened to shoot them at that same time at the end of the day we couldn't really do much and they just got away with the jet ski and although we did get a little bit off of them we ended up losing some gear sets as well so overall we didn't really gain much this would have been the ideal situation to get up into my new tower base but the base wasn't fully completed and as you saw we were getting door camped so I couldn't really get over there with this area being so hot I just respawned up north to do another loot run and then when I got back I would work on finishing the main base die [ __ ] die I think there's someone here at a tense he's in here maybe oh yeah I only got one bullet bruh we gotta get this guy please yeah if you want him to check those yeah nice good [ __ ] oh there's bodies this might be where the fight was that we were hearing it's not like crazy gear to be honest if someone's over here fighting a zombie like in front of me I'm coming it's naked I think he I think he's dc'd or something I got nothing on him we made it back to base and looted all of the leftover bodies and then we went towards the prison to do some looting over here we were pretty lucky and found a few gun powders but there wasn't really much other than that after we wrapped up there we went home and mnx logged out and I was on my own once again now all that was left was to fully finish up my base okay so for this what I want to do is build up around the ladder [ __ ] is that on my Island all right whatever I'm gonna just try to quickly place a frame down so anyway as I was saying I'm trying to build it around the ladder so I want to have Windows facing the ladder itself where you can get shot from different angles I'm thinking something like this would work right here the center we have a ladder in here is like the actual loot right and then we're gonna have Windows to like watch the ladder at the higher levels and I'm gonna try to build this up as best I can that's the base of it I'll explain it more as we go but I gotta go to Trader now and buy code locks and then I gotta get more wood I just need to hope that nobody Grieves that wait someone's a damp trap base what does he mean is he at my base on the ladder maybe not that'd be funny oh he is stuck on a ladder that's gotta be my base but I don't have my [ __ ] bag spawned otherwise I'll go kill him all right let's see if he's still up in the Trap bro that'll be so funny if he is he's there he's just sitting there he's looking at me oh he has no gear though he's like pretty fresh is he dropping gear can he drop gear from the ladder what are you doing up there well I got him out of the Trap karmic ninja yup this is him unfortunately he doesn't have anything but that would have been funny if he did that's interesting I unintentionally built a trap base this guy was stuck on my ladder for what must have been 10 minutes and he couldn't find a way out which proved to me that my base was working later on I'd be putting all of my best gear up in that room so that if anybody did try raiding they were most likely gonna have to use a helicopter to actually do anything so what I did here is I sectioned off the ladder so you would basically have to go through the door and then you take the ladder all the way up a tunnel I don't know if I can actually make a tunnel I'm gonna try my best to but there would be a tunnel as far up as I can go um and then this section of the base which will be like the main base really is gonna be its own entrance foreign out here oh I killed him I killed the driver I think no I didn't that didn't hurt okay kill the driver I killed the driver but their boat's still moving how is he still driving and he's dead what the [ __ ] is he uncon I hit him again wait I'm fighting [ __ ] Thor how is he not dead like how are you literally how are you not dead this server's [ __ ] man I hit that guy with a double shot he uncond and I had another one with a double shot that dude didn't even uncon like what are you even supposed to do as a solo on here unless you have like a [ __ ] 338. this shit's a lost cause man so I've been busy building for the past few hours and I can finally show you what the bottom of the base is fully gonna look like so we have the typical base except this one has two entrances uh this entrance here leads you to the ladder and what I'm doing here is basically trying to make a funnel so you gotta come on in here and then you gotta basically get through this door go on this ladder and then climb up a tunnel which will eventually when complete take you all the way up there now there's also a second entrance which is going to lead to like the main part of the base right here but um here you can see the windows so you can obviously defend a raid if somebody raids from this direction and you have roof accessed after some more time spent building the base was pretty much finished and I'm next logged on to check on the final product oh whoa okay not not bad I thought it looks kind of cool dude I said worse yeah same here man I seen a lot worse actually in fact I can point out a lot where his base is why is the rate letter yeah so I was actually trying to build up and that ladder I couldn't delete there's like two of them I couldn't get rid of so I could probably make a ticket but the admins will take like eight hours to respond most likely so I'll just leave it there I gave mnx a full tour of the base and afterwards he helped me move all the stuff over from my starter it was a lot of stuff to move and we ended up putting a lot of the loot into different compartments of my base the best stuff went up top so that nobody could reach it from the ground unless they basically figured out the little trick I did or used a helicopter with my home finally complete and secured I can spend the rest of my time on the server just roaming around pvping and having fun which is what we did maybe we have to go for this camper base again was it that far yeah I see the dead body there oh [ __ ] it looks good but the way he lays down this one shot from the base yeah they're just probably camping up top oh I think they're on the raid because they put up the ladder there oh oh this guy right here he's dead yeah nice good job Timberwolf I got a timber wolf I'm running I think me too I'll take that I think they are rating I also have a similar wolf or m300 one of those two things oh the other guy had it too yep I'm dead I don't know how uh uh you're only 100 meters in front of me I heard it it's from the city like he's very far I think what one's bad there's another one I had another one think he's dead yeah I killed two I don't know if that's the last ones foreign you know we didn't win every single fight we got into but we tried our best and that's all we could really do at the end of the day overall I was really happy with the progression I made in this adventure I was able to get a bunch of supplies gear guns and I was able to build a really cool base that I would never forget I had started this journey towards the end of the server wipe and there was a lot of geared players and the server was lagging quite badly in fact the sky was even changing colors which I don't know if that was a hacker or what but I've never seen this happen before but anyway it was getting to that point where it wasn't really as playable and it wasn't as enjoyable of an experience because of all these factors so this is where my adventure came to an end this was one of my shorter videos in quite a while but uh if you guys did make it to the end I hope you enjoyed as always
