I CUT IT ALL AGAIN (hair transformation)

whoa I like it I like it okay I like it that was actually two years ago when I finally cut my long hair off after letting it grow for six years and today we're doing it again except this time we're doing a buzz cut because I've always wondered what I would look like with really short hair but the problem is my hairline is not really the best if I pull back my hair you can see my forehead is uh quite prominent to say the least but the worst part is the sides here you can see just how far back it goes seems I have a bit of a receding hairline which means one day I might have to buzz it completely or get a hair transplant so I want to see what it would look like with a buzz cut whether I can pull it off or not I don't know what do you guys think can I make it work let me know in the comments if you think I can pull off a bus cut but do it now before you see the final result and then you can comment again if you're right or not all right we're running a little bit late so let's Buzz Cuts so I was just saying that this might or might not work out because the hairline looks fine now but if you kind of pull it back a bit it's not really the best hairline so what do you think do you think it's gonna suit me can we make it work yeah I think so I think like when it comes to a buzzco I think the most important thing is that it's actually the ratio from the skin fade to the lent on top hairline has become a little bit less important than things but there are ways with a buzz cut you can make it look stronger but during the process of the haircut we'll be able to make it work for you I'm pretty 100 sure hands you're in good hands so is there anyone that you would not recommend get a bus cartoon in terms of whether it's hairline or face shapes you know if you have a rounder face shape and you maybe can't grow like a heavy beard or anything it's not gonna generally suit you massively you know someone maybe that's Balling on the top part coverage of hair might be a little bit better there and then in terms of like thickness or density of hair if you have fine hair stick with a longer guard rather than going out too short because if you find her hair and you take it down to maybe like a one or a two you're going to see the scalp everywhere so I would say maybe stick with like a number eight or you know some one of those higher guards hopefully hopefully this which means that you still have a little bit of texture in and it's still like heavily contrasted on top so what I what are we thinking I don't want it to be the same grade like all over I still want to fade on the sides and maybe a little bit longer on the top but still short enough that it's it's considered a bus cut you know what I like to do with a Bose cover before I go into short is like start with a higher grade maybe like a number six and we can determine really between the two of us if we want to go a lot shorter anything below like a number three you'll start to see scalp so I think like anything in between there might be really nice for my personal opinion I think a postcode does look a lot better when it's like a little bit sharper towards the edges so down to zero otherwise it kind of just looks a little bit like a grown out kind of do it your do-it-yourself at home kind of job okay and then yeah just fade it into the beard kind of thing okay all right okay we ready yep no going back oh my God so this is like probably one of the longest lens so I'd kind of startup was good this is a number six so let's see how we feel about this and we can always go shorter cool foreign [Music] I've had a bus cut once before when I was really young like 16 I had no beard no glasses so it was a completely different look I have some people who want to do it and they get a little bit turned off it because they might have done like a buzzco at home doing it yourself and I mean when you do it like that you're not going to get the proportions right or the balance right within the FED if you go one length that's when you get that egg shape sort of thing right yeah exactly I mean you can kind of like look that's a number six right like the top is actually quite nice but you can kind of see the roundness here so we want to kind of avoid that roundness and take up the fade so we can really like create that kind of silhouette [Music] is literally I'll be able to wear a cap and then not worry that if I take it off the hair underneath is going to be terrible to be honest it's one of my favorite haircuts to do a lot of people think like the postcode looks like the easiest haircut you can get but in actual fact it's one of the hardest haircuts you can do because it's just all about proportion gland you know I mean one mistake in this haircut you're gonna see be way worse because when I pulled my hair back I was like yo this is going further than the freaking yeah yeah but when it's just even out and you see like if you see this I don't know if you can't from that side you see the way it's hooked nice and tight to your head it's not sticking out so this is just like naturally faded towards the front where we got this bit here sorry see you around 50 50 with it and you know what I think I really really like it you're gonna have such an easy life now getting out of the shower getting ready so if somebody watching this like likes the way this was done yeah and once this type of bus cut like what should they ask to to the barber this hair this haircut specifically technically terms is a five and a half on top the front tapered down on a skin fat gradual skin fade on the side now everyone's not going to have your head shape or your hair type so first of all what I would say is bring a picture reference always start with maybe like a number six and then you can always go shorter the problem is if you start with like a number three you can't put the hair back on if it's too short so I mean what what you'll probably find is especially with your hair now you might come back next week and you might go come on let's go a bit shorter next thing you know I'm going to come back in for a clean shave yeah yeah here in London go see Hayden I'm gonna be honest with you going into it I was 50 50 on whether this was going to work out but I am pleasantly surprised with this hairstyle I might even end up keeping it for a little while the day-to-day is so much simpler I don't have to worry about styling my hair I can just wake up and I'm ready to go I can wear a cap and not have to worry about what my hair will look like if I take it off it's just simple Timeless I feel more masculine more confident and I don't know even though it's just a haircut for some reason it just makes me want to get my together so I guess this was a success it's funny because I feel like my haircuts have evolved in parallel with my style evolving throughout the years so I started this Channel with the super long hair man bun style and wearing more classic menswear and then I decided to trim it down two years ago to a shorter haircut and lean more into that oversized aesthetic with a mixture of street wear and smart clothing and now this
