Hello This is 3D Pen Master, Sanago Today, I'll be making the Ender Dragon from Minecraft Why am I making it with paper, when I'm a 3D Pen Master??🤔 I dunno😅 It's not like I'm Kim Yeongman*
*Famous South Korean Kid's Show Host I browsed the internet, and I found this Ender Dragon papercraft template So, I thought I should first make a prototype before making one with a 3D pen (Careful) Since the paper is thin, bend it as little as possible Fold it carefully, (I didn't throw it away) and push it to the side We'll now make the same thing with a 3D pen😊 The method is simple (Swoosh-) With a 3D pen, create a plane on the paper template Since the Ender Dragon's head is a cube, we just need to create 6 squares and bring them together With that, we created a hollow die🎲 Grind the die on sandpaper, (Ta-da) and now we have a sugar cube Parts with complicated shapes like this are created with additional filament If we make it smooth, then we get a sugar cube with a complicated shape If you want to make it sturdier, you can fill the whole structure like this! Sometimes, the best way doesn't come up by thinking hard You can just go stupid and get the best result🔥 Stupidly melt the filament, and press it down the cold ruler Then, we have not a sugar cube, but a block of melted cheese🧀 If you have to apply excess heat to the filament, make sure your workspace is ventilated Use a grinder to grind off the burnt area Also! make sure your workspace is ventilated when you use a grinder Every process requires proper ventilation (Smooth~) We have one slick sugar cube here We just have to make the rest of the parts the same way 😁That easy For this project, I'm planning to make its wings move So, the wings are the most important parts here❕ We'll first make it the same way as before And then, severe the area where the joints will be installed Give it an about 1mm gap And place a small hinge on top Fill in the hole with some filament to fasten it (Slap) And it folds nicely like a Samsung smartphone Attach a pre-made part onto the wing with super glue This isn't anything special, but- that desk.. Doesn't it look gorgeous?😍 I bought it recently, and I wanted to brag about it 🐟) Hey 🐟) This is sponsored, right? 🐟) Am I right? No, you ain't!! Because of that, I'm not going to tell where I bought it🔒 And with that, we have created our Ender Dragon parts from a paper template✨ Push the paper parts aside, and assemble each of the parts Let's attach its snoot And bring the dragon's thick thigh together If we start connecting pieces to the largest part, the body, we can see the parts slowly forming the Ender Dragon I made a small slit with an ultrasonic knife, inserted a small hinge and connected it to the body Everything's easy until this part~😊 (Is it?) And it'll keep staying easy This is a simple LED module We're going to install it inside the body (Careful) First, make a hole on the back, which will hold the switch shaped as a back plate Insert the LED module inside the body Place the terminal on the rear, so it looks like its butthole😉 Place some pre-made switches through the hole, and we created a simple, unnoticeable LED device💡 Temporarily slice the Ender Dragon's skull Poke two holes, and attach the LED on its brain Bring the body together, and make eyeholes and a mouth hole on its face We'll use transparent filament so light can go through it🧐 Thinly spread some purple transparent filament, and turn them into eyes as big as a cat's whisker😺 After that, dip it in some blue alcohol ink and attach it And we have simply created the Eyes of Ender Dragon Insert the eyes into the pre-made holes And then, place it back on the skull, and our Ender Dragon is complete🎉 This one was made with paper And this one was made with my devotion It was really difficult..😂 Now, with these brass rods, I am going to create a kinetic art structure to bring our Ender Dragon to life I used 3.9mm brass rods.. And it was even tough to me, a buff dude who can bench 500g Cut the brass rod into a pre-determined shape Insert the hollow brass rod into itself, making it into a ring Sonic would love Can you hear the sound of Sonic going nuts? I pre-shaped these wooden pieces Since I didn't have the right tools, I really struggled making these..😅 So, I edited it out😉 Inside here, we're putting the most important component, the motor I took this motor out of a broken 3D pen You can say it was 'The Giving 3D Pen'*
*Referencing the American Children's Book, 'The Giving Tree' With some super glue and a 3D pen, fasten tightly the brass parts we struggled to create And on areas that required the utmost stability, I soldered it together Here's the rules of soldering number 1 is safety❗ Number 2 is safety❗❗ Number 3 is.. Safety❗❗❗ Number four is individualistic*
*Quote From The South Korean YouTube Show, 'Fake Man', Uploaded on 'Physical Gallery' I am assembling the prepared parts in order Insert the most important component, the motor And connect the tightly assembled rings that will rotate with the motor Brass looks so exquisite Connect the wings and the contraption with some strong iron rods This contraption changes rotary motion to linear motion So, it requires precise precision Cover the motor and the wire with a wood slab Before we color the dragon, let's bend the neck and tail for a natural look~ Just simply color the dragon thoroughly🎨 The Ender Dragon is so easy to color, so I colored the rest of the parts with a brush🖌 I'm carefully attaching back plates with tweezers Also attach the square horns, and remove the masks we applied beforehand Make a square hole on the bottom with an ultrasonic knife Once we place a small Barton*-
*Hawkeye(Clint Barton) from Marvel Comics Not that (Swoosh-) Once we place a small button, 🎉our Ender Dragon is complete🎉 The Ender Dragon's eyes are starting to shine If we press the small Barton button, a small motor activates the whole contraption The sturdy contraption created with brass delivers motion to the Ender Dragon As if it came straight out of the game, it moves so naturally We can barely see the butthole charging terminal I hope you also try creating this☝ I'll be back with a more entertaining video Thank you🙏 This was Sanago
The movement is perfect. Wow.
It is the mark of a true craftsman when you can barely see the butthole charging terminal.
