I Completely Down Sized My Living Situation In The DFW Area /JOIN ME ON MY NEW APARTMENT TOUR/

[Applause] hello my old school soul food family Chef Jeffrey back with another video all right y'all it is uh uh actually when I'm recording this video it's Monday it's Mar Lu King uh Jr's birthday uh holiday matter of fact and I want to give y'all show y' a little video that I shot this weekend in in Arlington of my apartment now I'm not going to go in detail in the video I'll tell you a little bit there and here and there about it but my slice of Happiness on this coming Friday I'm GNA give you detail why I sold my house in DFW how much I made y'all know I'm transparent how I knew to sell it how I knew to buy it and what's my plans with the with the money that I made off of it but in the meantime I got me a nice small apartment I went from 2200 square feet to about 780 square feet that's a big difference but I got my home here in Katie as well so I it's very difficult to man two homes which I I'm not saying I won't get another home if the if the if the uh opportunity position where I know I can make uh money off of it I'll do it but I did make a good financial decision when I bought that house in 2021 and uh it paid off with a little persistence and patience so so right now I'm G uh step off or whatever fade away and I'm going to show you the video of my apartment and then when I come back um I'll uh close this video out so it's just a little apartment like I said all in Texas and I got big big plans uh for 2025 always plan for the future of course as my mom would say if the Lord let you live I used to mess with my mom and say Mom the Lord gonna let me live baby you don't know you don't know what so she's a mess me all time you need to say if the Lord let you live okay if the Lord let me live I got big plans for 2025 so anyway y'all enjoy the video and I'll be right back all right y'all I said I was going to give y'all a tour of my little apartment y'all remember uh I told y'all I went from 2500 square ft here in Arlington to 750 square F feet which I absolutely love it because all I need a place to sleep and take a shower cuz like I told y'all it's all about traveling from me from now on I'm definitely going to invest in RV but y'all want to find out how I got into this apartment how much I paid y'all got to watch my financial Friday on uh U my slice of happiness I go into more detail there but yeah I made a good profit out my home I still got my house in Katie that's paid for that's a totally uh property I'm always have but I say I'm going just downsize and I bought everything in this apartment the furniture and stuff I bought it brand new I didn't move anything from my old house I sold the furniture everything in the old house I didn't move anything except my clothes everything else I brought here uh I bought brand new uh into this apartment so I'm going to kind of show y'all like I said I'll go into detail on financial Friday if you want to know in detail how I got in this apartment why I sold my house and more detail so anyway of course this is the front door and this is a one-bedroom apartment y'all I love it cuz it's just like my like I said give me a place to sleep I got my internet I got my cable TV I got my bed kitchen so anyway this the front door it got a lot of cabinet remember I only been in here a week and a half yeah I only been here a week and a day so you got the kind of shs here when you first walk into the front door here got a little Trash Can there they do a door to door trash pickup they charge for that too so well I guess but anyway I'll put some stuff on the shelves one day ain't no big deal okay in here I got a wash and dryer in the laundry room y'all let me turn this light on got a full washer and dryer got my hot water heater in here as well and this hot water heater this thing is hot let me tell y'all it gets hot that water gets hot so a little G washing machine here big deep thing there this is a hot point right dryer it does the thing got my fuse boxes in here which is cool you blow a fuse or blow a break up mean it's right here so yeah this a little lunding room nice good size lunding room room right I got my mopping broom in here okay let's get out of here it ain't like I say a a big tour y'all I got a closet here to put stuff in I guess you hang your like I said I got some curtains up there I got to hang later that's later on you got I guess this a coat closet what they call it I got one in my house as well but as you hang your cloaks in there let me turn this light on here y'all I got a light switch here okay and yall can see better okay walk in here now you got the living room right here living room is really really small like I say I bought all this stuff and Rooms To Go f i put a few things on the few pictures on the wall I ain't through doing what I'm going to do with it but got a couch love seat table lamp these lamps cost me $5 at the Distribution Center we Rooms To Go I got three of one in the bedroom we'll show you later five bucks five bucks y'all and you go to the rooms to go like I said they got a a scratching dent in the back they got one in Katie really is Brookshire but they got one right here in arlingon I went in of course this is brand new the furnit is brand new they built this stuff and the tables are brand new they built it right out the box but these lamps I went and got them a little scratching Dent for $5 now these rugs you going to see on the floor you remember Jo be's and Katie had a sell on ribs they also had a sell on these rugs these rugs right here cost $8 normally $100 they had them on sale for $8 if I see the uh price link that I put up on social media last month I posted up there $8 y'all so I bought like 20 rugs and I give half of them away for Christmas and I kept 10 of them so I got like seven five or six in here but you'll see the rugs on the floor they cost $8 yep so like I said this the living room this the patio here y'all only thing I don't like patios I think that's a criminal want to come in but I got a little thing they say you can put down where people can't come through got a little patio out there which I ain't going to never go out and sit on a patio but yeah and I got some little painters on the wall there nothing much got a fireplace here which I'm never going to use I pull little TV up there the TV is mine I had in stories I had so many TVs I've had that TV there y' I think foro I think 15 years when the flat screens first come out and I had in storage you know at my house I had a big things on the wall and uh in Katie but here I just got the little bit TV all I need of course I have Direct TV here yeah and Amazon that's a YouTube thing that but fireplace I don't mess with no fireplace unless it's one of them gas firepl this is a long fireplace and I don't play around with that I don't know what I'm doing with no fireplace okay let's go in here in the kitchen here little stainless steel appliances I'm still uh trying to load up my cabinet here my pantry what they say got some stuff in there a few things in there I got cabin it's a lot of cabinet space in here got a refrigerator freezer with a look at that got ice make in there and that thing was making so much ice you know it's just me and I said oh it can to do but you can turn it off so I didn't trip out so I got my little freezer section there y'all look at this you can only get this in DFW y'all look at this strawberry ice cream you get it at uh at uh Tom Thum but look at this one right here y'all Dy do say what is that caramel ice cream or caramel swerve this stuff is absolutely amazing but you can only get it here in DFW you don't can't get it in Katy y'all so yeah but nice little you know refrigerator got little thing in there got to have my Kool-Aid in there a little punch little milk nothing fancy I love my dressings but water up in there nothing fancy you know okay you got the little coun I use a lot of plastic cups y'all got a few plates in there like I say just me here I don't need a lot of lot of stuff my studio and most of my stuff always stay in Katy I got my little stuff there flour sugar rice cornmeal want to bake with got a little thing here for you put your you know your silverware in there put a drawer here what's in this drawer I got in here hold on y'all these drawers are kind of difficult to open here up in that little drain thing like I said nothing fancy but it's a lot of cabinet space up in here a little deep sinks there nice little pull out spray there I got my n you know I love my n got knives there I got my air fry got my blend U my uh food processor got to have my waffle mix got my containers there for my cooking utensil this oven here is electric I hate electric stove y'all I can't stand them but hey hey got to do what I got to do got to do what I got to do microwave nice Stainless Steel Microwave there uh like I say oven nice and uh stuff in here I still need to put you see how empty these cabinets is like I said I don't need much like I said just me here just me okay let me turn this light on over here let me get this trash can out the way I got to put a trash bag in there little dining table this dining like I said this dining table is brand new they put it together of course course the chairs are come to put together it's amazing rooms to go they don't show up with your friend already together they put it together at your house here's another rug that I uh bought like I said all these rugs you see on the floor $8 I'm going put the picture of the price and the rugs if I can find it in this video to prove to y'all how much these rugs cost and I bought 20 of them last month I put it online nobody responded I told these people got I wasn't going to buy the rugs I was standing line for the ribs which is on scale for 67 cents and the lady said oh they here's a here's a thing we got rugs on sale for $8 I said I don't want no rug and the lady behind me she say in front of me she said them rugs are $100 rugs I said okay okay I'm good with that but you can only buy two at that date and as people went along they had limit four I went back tell me I went back five six times y'all to get me some rug so yeah there's another one right here I got in the kitchen got a little dishwasher here so let's go in the uh okay that's the kitchen little living room like I say uh little bitty I mean just me when somebody come over like I said my brother want to come watch the gang stay overnight my a say she want to visit they I say y'all have to sleep on the couch right there a no big deal okay let's go in the room here put this light on a light right here it's a bedroom ain't much here this is brand new furniture as well I got a TV in here I just got it sitting on a little table here I don't watch a lot of TV got my computer got to have my computer there this dresser they put together and this is a queen siiz bed usually like a KingSize but I didn't think it was going to fit so I just bought a y'all know I love my red I just bought a KingSize bed and it matched the floor good that's why I like when I uh I saw the floor when I did the view I say I want a furniture kind of match floor and it's got that rustic look see how it got The Rustic look that's what I like about it yeah so I got a little table here I bought this room to go $5 little nightstand there here's the other lamp $5 lamp right there and I cannot sleep without a fan don't judge me I got to have a fan good thing they got ceiling fans up at the top here they got a closet in here pretty big closet yeah for what I need for you know I got to have my cowboy stuff but yeah so like I say I have more ma 75% of my stuff really 80 90% of my stuff is still in C that's what it'll be okay the bathroom Jack and Gil bathroom and you can come from any side let me cut the light on in here y'all let me cut the light on in here so y'all can see regular bathroom Rangers toilet sink little cabinet up in here put your stuff in here put my tiwel little Towes up in there and the deep I like this tub is really deep I love this deep tub y'all of course you got the shower you can do the shower tub or whatever got my bubble bath there you know I got to do my relaxation deep relaxation in the tub yeah but this this this apartment is very I couldn't believe how affordable it is and it's like pulling teeth to get you in here they do a screen background check and all that on you make sure you rental history and all that and you ain't got no felonies all that which I love that so so that's pretty much it y'all he little apartment like I say I'm going to put a few more things in it but me I just like I say when I'm in Dallas three or four days a week like I am place to sit down watch a little TV do a little work on the computer and uh place to sleep safe place gated community so yeah gated uh complex so anyway y'all so that's pretty much it little apartment video so like like I said if you want to know more why I sold my house here in DFW kept my house in Katie how much I made off the home because initially what I'm going to do with the money that I made off the house I'll give y'all a tip I am going to buy RV that's my goal to buy a RV and drive and just continue to drive across the United States but I'll give it more detail in my slice of Happiness uh video on Friday so anyway that's pretty much it y'all so I'll
