I Can't Run A Grader

so I'm out here spreading 3/4 this morning and the first two loads that came were nothing but Rock there's no find in it whatsoever uh if you're a loader operator you can't dig off the edges of the pile where it's all segregated without missing it you got to dig into the pile and get the fines otherwise it's garbage I don't know what I'm going to do with it I can't make it disappear I can push it up here and mix it with this other but this other doesn't have a lot of fine in it either this is not good looking crushed gravel so I'm uh putting on the John Sheek Wing this morning so you just take a couple bolts out of the end bit and then I got longer bolts I put in place that's then exit gun them up okay now let's see we got to put the wing on may have to tilt that back little [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] and then this end it's going to hit here whoop I can't remember if I got that I got to turn that or what I got to do get that in got to go like that I guess yep got to go like that okay then put one more washer under here get it in come on dude didn't seem to get that one in there there we go there we go get free I got him a by brackets little little tight damn it washer came out went the wrong way right there there we go get the nut on and go over here put this on come on here my socket's a little crooked today there we go maybe something like that there you go so I didn't I didn't get these spaced right or something when I welded them on it's kind of difficult I don't know if I can get this washer under this one I may have to put it under under need yeah that just a don't think it's going to go underneath dang it we cutting this up okay what this allows me to do uh they're bringing in belly dumps so by sliding the mle board you're going to change the angle of this wing and you're going to be able to carry the material over to the edge of the road and keep this full and cut a nice straight line without spilling it all over and then you can literally tip it forward and out and you can cut so your road goes over and then on a nice gentle angle it's a pretty cool tool so it comes with the brackets to weld on this Rod the bolts everything you need it's pretty cool deal [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] that so I got the road finished just got done taking the wing off um takes all of 5 minutes inch and a quter inch and a 3/4 inch and an inch and an eigh on an impact socket take those two bolts out of the edge protector pretty simple deal I like it had a bunch of guys on Instagram mentioned that that was gay gay as they said and that the reason I had it was cuz I didn't have any greater skills I just had to laugh cuz they're young guys just barely got their underarm hair and their pubes coming they've been building these things for graders guys have come up with all kinds of their own designs for jeez Louise I'll bet 100 years this is not it's not something GPS uh it doesn't uh not take skill it actually takes more skill to be able to use that and even for me it was a learning curve took me a little bit a while to figure figure it out but once I got it figured out and how to use it and make it work for me it's an awesome awesome tool I mean you can even swing that Wing out tilt your mle board down and cut a nice slope bring all that stuff up off the slope clear across the blade in one pass whereas if you were to do that the old way you'd have to come back another pass cuz you'd leave a wind R up at the edge anyway it's just a cool cool tool on to the next projecto
