I Bought an Abandoned Storage Unit for $30 and WAS SHOCKED...

welcome back everyone bought a storage unit abandoned storage unit this is my lock code and then I guess that's my password for the elevator so uh we'll see how well we did today I spent a whopping $30 this is the year I bought I have to move this thing around um as you see loading and unloading really isn't ideal because now I have to walk down this thing hopefully not hopefully not a 100 times today but been so long since I've been to a facility like this I forgot how this kind of worked anyway long story short just going to make a noise no we not doing that this is not safe at all holy cow all righty so I bought this unit online for a whopping $30 that's all I spent I also bought two other units not at this facility but another one down the road the same day uh all the units ended at the same time so I think that's the reason why a lot of the units went cheap those other units I only spent $10 a piece on so this one I spent 30 the whole this is not ideal but this is how it is so man that really suck to fall and have to sue someone so this is a lockout key hope I can twist it off all right and then I got that thing off which wasn't too bad they said the code I think was sack so they give you this this one you buy it online it's a little bit different than when you buy it in person when you buy it in person you put your own lock on it but when you buy it online they already have a lock on it and you just return the lock once you once you that really sucks all right I got to figure out these stairs they're supposed to lock in if you step on the bottom but they're not locking in this alarm's probably going to go off again okay oh anyway let's see what we got here holy smokes wow would you pay 30 bucks for all this what I like is that I can see what the clothes are so if they're just donated clothes they go right into those donation bins but there are a lot of bins in here wow so hopefully these things aren't filled the clothes cuz then well nice Steve Madden B that's nice um it's just how it's going to be I also let's just jump into it I guess let's get this stuff down see what's see what's in here all right well you couldn't see the back in the photo this looks like it's going to be all closed right here this bag I do see staining on it which is never great it means that they were probably put in here while they were still dirty weren't washed I'm ripping the heck out these bags um if you're wondering how do you load up from here literally I have to fill that cart up I'm only given One cart take it to the elevator go all the way down there load into the come all the way back up so not ideal but it is what it is maybe there's something in that garbage bag maybe there's something in Steve Madden something oh elevator's finally coming up but yes so far what we found is four or five bags of kids clothes we saw some Curious George and New York Giants kids clothes in here we have a little shoe it's the first uh first buggy load all all right well we got a bunch of clothes out looks like guess what we dealt with more clothes um this felt like they had something hard in it I don't know if it's shoes or that's a death drop baby chair that's what it looks like to me o mystery items that's what we like to see by Christian Dior what we got here oh these look nice kind of they look like they're moldy they don't look like they're worn at all interesting there's another box of kid shoes here kids Jordans it comes with champion flipflops it looks like got a camera older camera in there camcorder so a handful of couple dollar items in here looks like the bottom might be all paperwork maybe another camera yeah it's another camcorder they're might be Oddball stuff here at the bottom of this see photos this is a book [Music] journal if I find anything great in there I'll let you know at a future time what I want to do is I want to get these clothes down because how I'm packing my van is I'm putting all the clothes in the back and trying to pack from the back to the front but I want to get in the fun stuff like this is a awesome steeve Madden bag but I guess I'll get some of these clothes down looks like it's all women's clothes and kids clothes this is looks like Linens there a lot of socks and towels what's starting to Intrigue me is what is that bag and then what's in these suitcases but judging by the you and I think it's what I was saying before the alarm went off and people have asked me about the alarm system I've edited out pretty much 90% of the alarm stuff that I've heard just today um the alarm system goes off whenever one of these doors are opened or I think one one of these slots like so that's where your lock is when you slide it open um I think it goes off if you don't unlock it and the way you unlock it is when you enter the building you're supposed to unlock that youve arrived so if if you didn't do that when you entered the building and you just walked in the door went up the elevator whatever the lock the alarm does go off so pretty much 90% of people pretty much everyone just doesn't sign in when they come in more clothes I I tell you what what I'm going to do is I'm going to put all these clothes at the flea market and it's going to be a a closeth are a dollar and I'll make my 30 bucks back on a couple bags and then probably donate about 10 bags of clothes that's how it's going to probably work and that's how it's going to go this just happened great this is great just not my day well if you enjoyed the video so far hit the like button I now have to maneuver friends what the heck is this it says Nintendo on the back but has a big screen on the front I don't know if that's a switch have no idea what that is it's also all cracked and I don't know let me know if you know I I I don't know might be a switch going through all my wonderful merchandise here that just fell everywhere okay so it's kind of my treasure Trove right now what we've got going on uh obviously all the clothes I didn't go through there's just not time to do it right now um but I do have like my better stuff like my flea market Stuff Plus the Nintendo things all these sneakers kind of just thrown around um there are some sort of bracelet in here but I can't really get open um when I get my knife or something I'll rip it open I don't think it's gold there might be probably isn't uh but I'm going to try to I guess make this whole bag right here my my goodie bag then we'll continue on where I still haven't opened up the Steve Madden thing so throw it over there and we'll see what's in Steve Madden bring you guys down off the death trap see what's in the steeve mden bag nice bag it doesn't look stained it's clean Moment of Truth more clothes is it all close that's what it looks like it's all closed wow quite interesting I should probably take out the clothes cuz I definitely save that bag oh nice what looks like a verer Bradley bag yeah it is something inside empty whole bunch of like not gift cards but ID cards thought that was gold I don't think that's gold put my pocket just in case nothing else in there nice ver bradle bag though get a couple dollars for that like I said I only paid 30 bucks for this unit so there's no so far really no high ticket items it's really just bunch of dollar stuff and clothes obviously like this bin right here is nothing but clothes so I'm really wondering like are all these bins going to be closed they probably are you probably heard that word enough today also this is insane I don't I just I me I granted people store other things but this is like a collection I never seen before for get a buck freeze and crab somebody takes both of them give me a dollar $2 all right let's see what this o all right do you think this is real Louis Vuitton Peis do you think it's real probably not I mean it's dirty so it kind of looks like it's fake but I don't know could be real could not be real this looks like it's almost like a makeup bag there's nothing really else besides makeup what the heck is that I don't know what that is probably shouldn't know what that is yeah it's almost like this is a makeup bag that's all there's really in here just make stuff we have a nice Louis Vuitton bag which probably is not real but maybe it is this Peaks my eye State playo 2013 what the heck does that mean I don't think it's an actual varsity jacket star player 2013 drag it out no definitely not a varc jacket just designer that like Apple watch it's anyway stuff like this like why is this still in here that that's what throws me for a loop so a lot of people don't really realize that some of these storage units are actually evictions and the person who owns like the place has to put the stuff um if they evict someone so they might take everything from the apartment and put it in a storage unit and some of these facilities allow you to do that um and they allow as long as you pay for one month so in that case if somebody is evicted this might the person never put this stuff in here who this stuff might have originally owned to or belonged to Tommy Hilfiger shoes we have a matching pair uh that's Ralph Lawrence that's not matching pair but probably isn't down it's probably down here somewhere there's another box for airpods so we see if see if it's in here nope no airpods they took the airpods with them but they left the Box found a pair of shoes it's kind of I think that's the same shoe right so I put this aside because I couldn't find a matching pair but we have literally a matching pair here that's just a little bit smaller some sort of watch watch with no name handful of other things like wires and stuff but it looks like it's just a mixture I don't know what to do with that Louis Vuitton bag I I don't know probably not real so let's give it a go on one of these suitcases interesting brand new travel pillow never used another travel pillow never used it's from Kaplan earning learning Early Learning Center some really used headphones looks like there's a PlayStation control no GameStop controller ODB stuff like I've said many times anytime I found an iPhone box it's always been empty this is no different another iPhone box also empty huh so that's one suitcase down I thought this one was completely empty it had no weight to it whatsoever this one has a lot of weight I'm going to go close wow shocking this sounds like it has some sort of liquid in it so we're going to see what it has in it some n whole bunch of pills whole bunch of paperwork see what kind of pills these are not a cloak can't pronounce it caline is that it it's expired in [Music] 2018 decide to rip open this bag and it has literally a bag within a bag of tons and tons of bottles and hydro flasks I don't know folks and then L the bottom half is exactly what 90% of this unit has been so yeah another back I really hope these bins are not just clothes that'd be insane I I would never I'd just be the first time I ever bought a unit like that so one more bag of clothes I did feel some hard stuff on it um so it's actually a mixture of toys it's a car right there um but there is a lot of clothes and paperwork your typical storage unit stuff looks like there used to be something on top and that got ripped off they duct taped it but nothing too exciting I can see so far in there but yes here are the bins and essentially yes I got $30 worth of bins I think these like 15 or 20 maybe even $25 at Home Depot they are kind of pricey this one looks like it's in good shape they do come in different sizes when we did that cleanout for that guy U probably about two months ago um the guy actually had like 40 or 50 of these bins and he was missing one lid and I had one at home and I found out very quickly there's not the same size bin uh in just as black and yellow there's like three or four different ones that look exactly alike but they're just different sizes I just unsnap this just to snap it and I just snapped you this is a painful but there we go ooh here we go I just hope there's matching pairs in here oh wow shocking right more close um these look like all sneakers and shoes how do we open this up here we go um they are very dirty these actually look clean I'm going to try to grab the cleanest pair they're almost stuck to this bag that's how long they probably been in here now what in the world are those Nike what these are Jordans I've had these same exact shoes before these so a couple sneakers have to make sure the matching pairs in here I think the uh that first one I picked up yeah that one the matching pairs right there look how like moldy that is I don't know about some of these unfortunately oh these are Pumas unfortunately a lot of these are crushed they might reshape a little [Music] bit not a clue what these are called aside from Nike and they have lots of dog hair on them tread still pretty good probably given their condition probably got like 15 20 bucks in sneakers [Music] there looks like that's all just closed at the bottom get on to the next bin so we got some sneakers even though it is a clothing item it's not exactly clothes and those sell a little bit better always mention those sell a lot better than uh just like sweaters and shirts and blouses all right next bin [Music] I don't get it folks but that's just the day of the video to start my own store looks like there's maybe a squish mellow or just some sort of plush at the bottom can honestly start my own store I I the last bins Our Last Hope for something a little bit different uh but I I would would not be surprised if it's literally the same thing this one's also broken not the end of the world but it's bro hey look at that I can't believe it this is some of this has tags on it that was $224.50 maybe I'll have to make a stop at Plato's Closet on the way back I wish they bought clothes per pound they bought clothes per pound I'd be a millionaire even if they paid you a nickel per pound cuz I got a bunch wow it's amazing what you you know you buy these storeage units online and you really don't know you see a lot of bins you see a lot of bags and out of everything this bag right here was the only bag of tote toys um and there's like one or two totes that were like half filled with paperwork and other accessories some electronics that Nintendo thing but everything else in this entire storage unit was closed I would say what a shocker but I'm not shocked after doing this for seven years anyway everyone Thanks for tagging along hopefully I
