I BOUGHT A WHOLE CAR LOAD OF OLD BASEBALL CARD BOXES!

hey everybody welcome back to another brand new video today we're taking you back out to ohio my brother and i went out to a flea market and two baseball card stores a few weeks back and we're gonna take you around and show you everything that we saw and also bought please hit that subscribe button and enjoy last time we were here a month ago this is all filled up yeah he's not here today unless he's set up elsewhere we're already halfway through the road now we're just finally getting stuff it's like water damage san diego junior cards a bunch of the same yamaha's those have probably been there since 1989. the sheffield pages there's some decent ones in there look [Music] yeah i feel like they're probably like left out in the rain or something oh boy it's small see the smallest page in the 80s look at the johnson aircraft nice i like that car but that's gonna be a point more graceful cup yeah i think jim had it basically do you think you could even salvage any of those cards looks like they've been water damaged probably so sheffield would be good yeah okay this guy's got some sports jerseys 54 tops design uh yeah 55 and 56 tops that's pretty awesome i don't know i've never seen them no i looked inside one there's nothing in there i know so far seeing like pictures and stuff 10 bucks yeah dave parker's on there too oliver it's like posters everywhere today like hardly any cards there's some cards back here what is that is it troll play yeah 93 triple play a bunch of football commons autographed globetrotters michelle's baseball cards 87. see some 91 don ross series 189 tops in there step by step there's step by step cards in here donnie wahlberg jonathan new kids on the block step card i love donnie wahlberg [Music] there's [Music] yeah move this box aside you'll see what i'm talking about let's say they open it up oh yeah it looks like cold chunk box in there too mix flair 93. there's not even flare in there that's something i wonder if there's any rookies tops update what is that 2010 nice yeah 2010 update there's some decent cards in that set there's some more ones too i say 82 donors 89. you could do buy the hotel for 20 bucks and do a video on it see if you can get 20 value back i probably will eventually if that happened these boxes are like burn boxes look at these boxes they're black is that like yeah looks like freaking charcoal the first one's a mildew and sleeves and i'll burn boxes yeah i'm curious about this 2010 set i wonder if strasbourg rookie's in there see what's in that looks like they are some of them adam jones buster posey yeah i need that buster posey mad bum i don't have the i got the bumgarner i don't have the buster stanton's in the update i think yeah he's an update there we go i have that chord already but that's a decent one i don't want to carry this tote around either but let's take it right back to the car i guess we are walking down that way it'll be fun to go through this but i don't really want i don't think i think it might come all these five bucks what are you asking for this tote that's probably the best i would do on that oh nice blast was a pretty good deal 15. that was a good deal 78 tops at 1 30. are you asking for your pecs 10 bucks for all of them no i'm not counting the boxes you should do that i'll take them for 10 bucks 93 yeah it'd be fun to open those yeah see the series 193 tops in there maybe you find a junior gold yeah that'd be fun i see another one down there there's two 93 top series ones you're talking about 69. that's a good price for that henderson rookie i just bought one here last time i was here red's for 20. get a 69 mantle you're just talking about that that's pretty awesome it's a pretty good price yeah that's pretty good 395 55 tops ted williams 54. is yeah those packs would be fun opening it i mean there's a couple 91 tops maybe it doesn't look at some 92 clear five packs for two bucks this set is awful all these sets are awful yeah those are probably all bricked up 91 studio yeah tim tim wakefield [Music] [Music] looks complete how much are they uh this picture one how much how much of this one 20. okay they got an absolute blast around the series too i got a couple of them these ones you get a guaranteed autograph for relic in each box didn't you do a case break on those recently yeah that's tough to find around here i couldn't find any so i had to pay one of my subscribers to send them to me 14 cards 99 total cards in a blaster so if you bought them both you'd have like probably like two out of three cans of porn work yeah are all the cards in the sun though i know how much are these 88 but if what's wrong with it it's just like so dirty that gum is like stuck and busted could be doesn't shield back though i don't know probably highly unlikely but five books each it's the well it may play ball card 50 cents all right so that is it from the flea market i bought a couple singles and also a couple packs of cards my brother bought some packs and some cards as well i'll tell you and show you what i got later in the video but after we left rogers we drove about an hour hour and a half to cuyahoga falls to visit triple play vintage this is a card store that went to a few weeks ago and after i posted the video they put this up on facebook the day after the video they had over 200 people come through their store just a whole bunch of them saying that they saw the video and didn't even know this place existed it is an absolute gem we're gonna take you back there again and i am going to pick up a whole bunch of stuff for round two let's check it out all right we already brought you a full video from the store so i'm just gonna show you a couple of things this time around this was the wall of wax before i bought almost all of it i'll show you the entire car load that i took home they also have a bunch of great single packs three for a dollar you see there's a 91 upper deck some 89 dawn rust 93 tops series two some 94 tops 91 tops pretty nice selection my brother i think picked up all of the i think 91 tops and 89 don ross you can see some sport flicks there as well they also have some rack packs there and some pretty good ones at that you see 1989 don russ in the bin a whole bunch of 10 cent cards and vintage cards all around the table for those you'd like to put sets together of the old stuff this is the place for you um here's the 10 cent boxes and i'm gonna close out this little clip by showing you their newer stuff as well they've got old and they've got new they've got all the new releases all behind the counter there a bunch of hobby boxes pretty much everything that you could want from the last year and even last year as you see some 2019 series 2 on the shelves after we hit up this place and i fill up my car with wax boxes we headed across town all right so our next stop we missed this place last time it's only about five minutes away from triple play vintage it's called all pro sports cards and they too have a bunch of older wax you see a whole bunch of 90 don russ on the shelves which i'm gonna grab all of those along with all the 90 upper decks 91 or sorry yeah 91 score series 2 right there my brother bought all of those he's going to be looking for mickey mantle's autograph there's also some 92 upper deck along with some stadium club and they also have some newer and older stuff as well there's my brother looking at some leaf i don't think he bought that one but you can see a whole bunch of uh good stuff on the shelves there they have some publications complete sets as well if you look around here you see a whole bunch of 5 000 count boxes filled up to the brim with cards and here my brother is thinking about buying all these he said did you want any of these and i was like no those 91 score are all you but here's all the cards a bunch of older stuff as well mostly singles and i think they range from the 50s all the way up there organized by set which is pretty awesome and i'm going to take you now for a quick walk around the store just to show you everything and give you like a 360. you see a whole bunch of binders and just sets the whole way down the entire length of the store along with 5 000 count boxes filled with stuff as well this store definitely has inventory and you could probably spend a lot of time here looking for something that you want they also have over in front of the windows the glass showcase that houses some of the best singles in the store we'll just totally skip over the non-baseball stuff and show you what they have baseball wise you see a bunch of older stuff from the 50s and 60s in this showcase now there's no prices on any of this you'll have to talk to the owner and work with him on a price and we found his price to be pretty good my brother i think may have picked up a willie stargel rookie card here i can't remember this this was actually a few weeks ago that we went out there but there's a bunch of rookies of cal ripken junior that you see there mark maguire rookie card we'll be searching for that rookie card tomorrow and throwback thursday then behind the counter they've got some really good stuff 2018 top series one jumbo is for a great price um that's a really good set actually and a whole bunch of other stuff they've got pretty much anything you want uh series two of tops was brand new when uh we went out there you got a whole bunch of that and also some newer stuff down here you see some tops chrome from 2003 i think down there at the bottom and just stuff from 2011 2012. there's some older bowman chrome and i picked up a couple of those boxes which i'll show you as well and then there's some more showcases right behind those chrome boxes and that is a 360. so let me show you exactly what my car looked like once we got home i was actually concerned that my back axle might break but luckily we made it home and this was the damage look at all these wax boxes that i picked up from all pro and also triple play vintage enough to fill the entire back of my suv most of those boxes were anywhere between i think the cheapest was seven dollars all the way up to i think the most i paid was maybe about 25 for a box of 87 tops we'll just give you a quick closer look here on top you see i bought some tops chrome from 2003. those were 60 dollars a piece those were the most expensive boxes that i bought there's the 87 tops for 25. you can see all the price tags are on there um there's some 88 fleer 89 tops 92 tops whole bunch of stuff mostly i'd say the average was about ten dollars a box uh the orange price tags were from all pro and the white price tags were for triple play vintage and thanks again to triple play vintage for uh the nice discount as well love those guys they definitely have a huge inventory and we'll work with you um on prices as well those 2011 um blaster boxes right there from series one were 14 bucks and if you look on ebay they're like 60 boxes so tons of good stuff let me show you the singles before we go all right here are the singles that i picked up from our trip now i ended up spending a thousand dollars slightly over a thousand dollars on this trip with all of that wax that i picked up i think the total was like 640 at triple play and about 360 maybe at all pro sports cards and then some more at the flea market let's show you what i picked up here's the 71 tops these ones are from triple play a 71 tops will even coming for a dollar yeah these are off condition which you can obviously tell by this willie mays but willie mays and frank robinson on the same card gotta buy that one for a buck there's a lou brock for a buck 1970 a carlton fisk's 73 gold cup card his first card ever all by himself love that card a lot there's a willie mays for a buck 1973 world series this is a 74 tops card there's bert bly levin rookie card for only two dollars he's a hall of famer yeah it's beat up but i don't care it's blind eleven needs a hall of famer so i pick up two of those there's don dry still for two bucks it's missing some paper obviously but it's still tough to find cards from the late 50s of drysdale for that price and i like this one a lot andre dawson rookie card from 1977 for just two dollars here's the back of the card in pretty good shape except for some soft corners i didn't even i don't i guess there is a minor minor crease there but for two bucks i thought that was a steal i've got a nice lou brock 1972 tops card hall of famer right there and another hall of famer actually two hall of famers willie starjo and hank aaron 72 i like this next car a lot because it has three hall of famers on it i believe i got this one at the flea market for these last couple ones for i think they might have been a dollar or 50 cents i can't remember uh but siever gibson and fergie jenkins there's a randy johnson 89 flea rookie card for a buck frank thomas score for a buck a william mccovey i think these were all a dollar a piece and a really nice looking card right here and i was really impressed with the condition of this card i almost feel like just taking this and sending it directly to psa because of the condition of this 74 willy stars so the corners look really really good um you're probably looking at maybe oh i don't know an upper grade of this one probably not a psa 10 as those are virtually almost impossible to come by for 74 but a great condition starts will for a bucket bob gets gibson not in the top top top shape because that corner is a little bit off but great condition right there and another nice condition 78 willie starger hall of famer so that's everything i picked up now overall very productive trip out to ohio a few weeks ago um i'm trying to hit up these baseball card stores every now and then so if you own a baseball card store if you are a patriot one and know a really great baseball card shop that would like us to come and stop by let us know we'll stop by and do a video there i do have another video coming from national baseball card day where we stopped in four baseball card stores we'll bring that to you at some
