Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
I've noticed while I'm playing that the nailgun model doesn't extend all the way to the bottom of the frame, and there is an empty space that makes it appear to just be floating in mid-air. This isn't present on any other gun.
When I saw that this same issue isn't present in MVG's footage, I realized that it must be my FOV settings. Hope we get a fix for that (and some more refined controller settings -- right now they feel a bit off, but the addition of a weapon-wheel is fucking rad!)
I adore NightDive. Please don't let SS1, 2 and 3 suck though. If I was financially independent I'd love to just port and remaster old PC games.
From his tone and the use of ellipses in the title, I thought he was about to drop news his team had been abused on something. But this seems mostly like a promotional video?
Looks like I'm playing Quake again. Nightdive AND MVG? This port is going to be premium.
Anyone know if strafe jumping has been removed or just made harder? I can't see to be able to do it on the remaster, and just to verify I tried it on vkQuake and DarkPlaces and I had no issue
The main think this remaster had me do was not buying it but firing up Darkplaces for a good old romp.
Though, I guess Dimension of the Machine is new? I couldn't find that for download anywhere like Dimension of the Past. Wonder if I could take the version from the steam release and copy it to my darkplaces setup.
yo thanks for being amazing, really appreciate your youtube and other contributions. thanks for the amazing quake remake; i've commonly been citing quake 3 as the earliest example of crossplay gaming i'm aware of. it's really nice to see the story come full circle with this truly amazing remake/PATCH ;)
my ONLY GRIPE is the current maximum of 8 players; significantly more/100+/unlimited would be really nice... though i'd settle for 16... more is always nice.
it's truly a spectacular tribute to quake. thank you.
live long and prosper, may the force be with you, love and peace, etc.
have a great one bruvskii.
Wait, Quake is still being developed? Seriously? That things practically an antique.
