Lut is the son of Hara, brother of Ibrahim Aleyhisselam. His name is mentioned 27 times in the Quran. Lut Aleyhisselam, the first to believe in Abraham . He had the honor of emigrating with him in the way of Allah. And in the way of Ibrahim Aleyhisselam, he is conveyed as a person of worship, patient, generous and hospitable. He made a living by farming and made a living with the labor of his hands. He is mentioned in the Qur'an as follows: As for Lut, we gave him judgment, prophecy and knowledge. We rescued him from the country that was doing ugly things. Because the people of that country were a bad people who did bad things. We accepted him into our mercy because he was one of the righteous. We guided Ismaili, Elyesa, Prophet Yunus and Lot. We have made all of them superior to the realms. Lut Aleyhisselam was such a praised prophet. Prophet Lot began fulfilling his prophetic mission in the city of Sodom. The Sodomites were a fierce and immoral people. This tribe was a community that committed all kinds of immorality that had not been seen in previous nations. They had made it almost ordinary business to shamelessly commit vile and ugly vices , and even go further. They were silencing those who wanted to hinder them and said that the cleans should leave us immediately. In this nation, chastity, chastity and honor were forgotten. Forgive me, a meanness and meanness that cannot be seen even in animal communities emerged and, in the words of the Qur'an, they were reduced to a lower level than an animal. This is how Hazrat Lut was in charge of inviting a perverted people to guidance. Day and night , they struggled to save their hereafter . These efforts are narrated in the "Sura Sura" as follows: Their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not be mindful of opposing Allah? Know that I am a sure Prophet sent to you. So fear Allah and give me allegiance. Against this, I do not demand any fee from you. It is only the Lord of the worlds who will reward me. Do you leave your wives that your Lord has created for you and approach men among people? Indeed, you are a perverted people who have crossed the border. As you can guess, the people of Sodom immediately denied Lot Aleyhisselam and did not comply with his invitation. Lut Aleyhisselam told them the result of their immorality many times. Thereupon, Lut repeatedly told them what this ugliness and immorality meant to them. Are you committing a lewd act that no one in the world has done before you? He stated that these bad deeds they did would lead them to disaster. Instead of listening to Lot, they also tried to expel him from that country. The answer of his people was: Let's get Lot and his supporters out of this land immediately. Because they were much more cleansed people. That's just what they said. They were clean, it was a crime for such a vicious and immoral people to stay clean, to live honorably and chastely. Isn't it normal for them to feel uncomfortable with clean people because their spiritual food is 'sorry' 'filth'? and they threatened Lot Aleyhisselam. "If you don't give up on this case, know well that you will be exiled. You will not be able to live here." Of course, Lut Aleyhisselam said: If you do not follow the path, do not stop committing these harams, do not repent to Allah, do not believe, you will incur the severe punishment of Allah. However, this perverted tribe took their disbelief to a higher level in the face of these threats of Lut Aleyhisselam. They did not care about this, as they could not grasp the horror of the disaster that would befall them . They even said, miserably and with great audacity, that it is also mentioned in the Qur'an, if you are one of the truthful ones, bring us the punishment of Allah. They were unwilling to give up their perversion even an ounce . Similarly, according to a rumor conveyed under very harsh conditions, Lut struggled for 40 years. However, the cruelty and immorality of his people has reached an unbearable point. The people of Sodom did not even care about the threat of Allah's torment , and they deserved a severe torment by asking for it. The time has come. Lut Aleyhisselam took refuge in his Lord in the face of this disgrace and miserable situation. O Lord, please help me and my family from their shirk and curses. He said, 'O Lord, help me against this horde of mischief-makers. For decades, he worked for the happiness of his people and for the well-being of their afterlife, but very few people believed together with him and his two daughters. He was not one of the believers, including the wife of Lot Aleyhisselam, but took the side of the horny people. Therefore, this prayer was Lut's last resort. Allah sent his angels to destroy the people of Lot . Even these Angels, who came in the form of young men , were enough to awaken the evil desires of the raging people, forgive them homosexuality. As a matter of fact, they also tried to harass them. This incident , which freezes people's blood and leaves them in astonishment, is described in detail in the Qur'an. When our envoys came to Lot, Lot was worried that his perverted people would be haunting them . He was heartbroken for them and said this is a tough day. Lot's people came running to him. They had done those bad things before . Lot: O my people, these are my daughters. marry them. They are cleaner for you. Fear God and do not disgrace me in front of my guests. Did he say that there is no sane man among you? How detailed is given for us to learn. Seeing the angels coming in the form of young boys, Lut Aleyhisselam thought they were human. And he feared that his people would rape them. According to some commentators, the purpose of the daughters whom Lut advised his people to marry was not his own daughters, but the daughters of his people. Because he only had two daughters. Since every prophet is considered the eldest and spiritual father of his own people, Lut said: These are my daughters. In other words, we have girls and young people who have reached the age of marriage so that you can marry. I wish I had the strength to oppose you or if I could take shelter in a strong castle, he said. Let's open a parenthesis here. Our Master the Prophet, sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam, made the following statement after mentioning this statement of Lut against his people. May Allah have mercy on Lot, he was taking refuge in a very solid place, namely his Lord. With the blessing of this prayer of Allahu Teala Lut, all the prophets who came after him have bestowed relatives and relatives who will support him. Angels calmed Lut. Don't worry, we are the messengers of Allah, don't be afraid for us, be sure! They will never be able to touch you. You take your family in the middle of the night and start walking. But you will not take your wife with you. They conveyed that the torment that would come to them would also hit his wife. Other than that, none of your family should be left behind. And the angels also told the exact time of the chastisement . The time of destruction was morning when Allahu Teala commanded them . Even though those perverts were charged at the door of Lut's 'alaihis-salam' for the last time , all of them were blinded in an instant. This situation is conveyed in the verse as follows: I swear by the Celali, they made a request to benefit from the guests of the tribe of Lot. So we blinded them completely. We said, 'Come on, taste the punishment for ignoring my torment and warnings. All of them were blinded at once, in a great panic they could not even find the door and escape. In fact, Lut Aleyhisselam grabbed them by the arms and took them out one by one. And that moment has come. The coming of Allah's torment and their destruction to the tribe of Lut are explained in detail in the Qur'an, especially in the chapter of Hijr. In the Qur'an, when talking about the town where this community lives, it is mentioned as "al-mutefeke". In other words, it means upside down, upside down. Because the people of Lut had committed a sin such as homosexuality, Allahu Teala first made a terrible noise to them, then destroyed their hometown, and then rained stones on them. A more severe disaster cannot be imagined for a nation to disappear and be erased from the stage of history . Allah informed us that He will make them a sign for the people who will come later. Surah Hijr: Here are signs for those who take a lesson. They are on a path that is still before the eyes, indeed in that is a sign for those who believe. The people of Lut are mentioned in the 35th verse of Ankebut Sura. Some signs have been left for us, that is, for the nations that followed , to be a lesson and to learn a lesson about their destruction . It is conveyed as follows: We have left there a clear sign of warning for a people who will use their reason. So what is this 'mark'? The stories about what happened to the destroyed people. The ruins of their ruined homeland, the stones falling from the sky, the black-flowing rivers. It is explained in the commentaries as follows: By the way, "Fahrettin-i Razi" reminds that the verses describing the tribe of Lot were sent down to the Meccan polytheists. They are on a road that is still in front of the eyes, and he said, starting from the verse: Meccans used to go to the city of Damascus for trade at that time. The road to Damascus was just south of the Dead Sea, so he explained that you can search for the remains of the Lut tribe here. Let's share this with you too. Today, just below Palestine is the Dead Sea. When Lut was appointed as a prophet, he had a wife named "Fevat" who believed in him, and this lady died after 20 years . After his death, Lot married a woman from Sodom named "With Revelation". But "by revelation" she was a hypocrite woman. He preferred to remain silent against the unbelief and immorality of the people , and even secretly supported his people against Lot Aleyhisselam and acted as an spy. As we have explained , when they came to their homes in the form of beautiful-faced people, it was their duty to destroy their people that evening . He immediately went to "Vahile" and informed the people about it, that is, he betrayed Lot Aleyhisselam. Thus, he was destroyed along with his people. Lot Aleyhisselam had two believing daughters. During the destruction of the People of Lot, they left Sodom with their father and the believers and escaped that torment with the permission of Allahu Teala. Then they went to Ibrahim Aleyhisselam with their father. Prophet Abraham married these two girls to two believers from his own people. Almighty Allah blessed the descendants of Hazrat Lut. The people of Midian were descended from them. We see in the works that the bad deeds and the causes of destruction in the tribe of Lot were always the same. The first is that they worship idols, deny the Prophet like other destroyed tribes, and engage in sexual intercourse, which is different from them. There is a narration from Ibn 'Abbas that radiyallahu anh narrates that our Master the Prophet said, In fact, he said 3 times . This hadith is also mentioned in Tirmidhi. It is commanded: That is the cursed one who does the work of the people of Lot; cursed. They repeated this 3 times, and "His Holiness Malik Bin Dinar" states that this homosexuality was not heard in any of the previous ummahs, but this ugly act was seen among the tribe of Lut. Satan taught them this deed as well, and when people committed this act contrary to their nature, they were drawn into divine wrath. Our dear brothers and sisters, Allah Almighty has given us human lust to increase the generation. It should be used for whatever purpose and with what wisdom Allahu Teala gave us. Apart from these, acting ignorantly depends entirely on human ignorance and rage. This is to trample on the honor and dignity of humanity, and to fall to a level lower than animals, as the Qur'an puts it. One of the disgusting perversions of the tribe of Lut was to kill people with homosexuality . When they want to kill someone, they order him to be homosexual. They would kill them after torturing them in this way. In addition, the people of Sodom were doing these perversions in front of everyone, they were also condemning the chaste people and treating them like crazy. Excuse me, I have to share this with you as it is mentioned in the works. They had moved away from morality and decency to such an extent that they made even breaking the wudu with gas, that is, flattening, a means of public entertainment. They were blocking the road, stoning the places where people would pass, They were making fun of foreigners. Lut Aleyhisselam struggled with such a tribe for decades. Allah Almighty commands that the people of Lut be taken a lesson from their destruction and states that the ruins of the destroyed tribes were left as a lesson to the history of humanity. It is really interesting when you look at the historical artifacts . The structure of the land is as remarkable as the events around the Dead Sea, which can be visited today . Do you know why? Because this Dead Sea is not enough 400 meters below the surface of the Mediterranean Sea, the deepest part of the lake is 400 meters, that is, 800 meters below the level of the Mediterranean Sea. So is there any example of this in the world? Except for the Dead Sea region, scientists say that the lowest place in the world is only 100 meters above sea level. In other words, doesn't even this structure of the land show the baseness of the people of Lot? It is commanded as the lowest place on earth in Surah Rum. Is it possible for such a geological fact to be known to the people of the time when the Quran was revealed? This is one of the scientific proofs that have emerged recently that the Qur'an is the word of God, even just one example . The Dead Sea brings with it another feature, the salt rate is around 30%. That is by no means in that lake, its name is a lake, but it is a lake where fish, plants and organisms do not live. That's why they call it "bahr-ül meyyit". The fact that even animals do not live in this place is another example. Let's talk about "Pompeii" while talking about it. The symbol of the Roman Empire, the city of Pompeii in Italy sank due to sexual perversion, just like the People of Lut. Historical records report the state of the city before it was destroyed as a complete perversion, rudeness, and immorality that has come to an end . It is estimated that 70 years after Jesus, with a sudden eruption of the "Vesuvius" volcano, the lava suddenly wiped the city off the map. No one could save his life from divine torment. According to the images from the places that are still used as museums, those unfortunate people were petrified while they were in a state of obvious perversion. And this event emerged as a result of the work of scientists, and it happened all of a sudden. It is a great lesson that has survived until today , while some are eating, some are sleeping, some are committing these indecency and its remains are intact. Of course , the ugly sights of those petrified miserable people, who have come to the present day from 1900 years ago, are one of the exemplary paintings of history. As stated in the Qur'an, we destroyed many human generations before them. Do you see any of them or hear their faint voice? Despite the long centuries that have passed, today Pompeii seems to display the petrified warning signs of immoral people. These exemplary manifestations consist of a simple sculpture for those who are far from understanding the events that cannot see their true face, watching them with a sensual sense. In fact, according to them, it is a work of art, but we must not forget that only owls pollute Sodom Gomorrah, the place of those horny, immoral and miserable people, and those magnificent stone-carved mansions of the tribes of "Ağd and Thamud" today. May Allah grant us to take a lesson, Amen. Let's not forget that it is adorned with good habits that make a human human, and it is infecting with bad habits that dehumanizes it . May Allah be pleased with Lut 'alaihis-salam and raise his rank high. May our Lord make us all among those who use the blessings he has bestowed on him for his own pleasure.
