Hurricane Barrel as record breaking storms get stronger. Now, the now category five storm made landfall in the Caribbean and this morning, meteorologically Southwick tracking Barrel and Jamaica is in its track or at least right on the edge of the cone could be tomorrow. Lee. Yes, absolutely. So, unfortunately, this storm right now, a category five, yes, it's supposed to weaken but still be a major category three hurricane when it approaches Jamaica. And that means life storm surge and wind for Jamaica winds right now, 165 miles an hour, it is going to move to the west. We have tropical storm warnings in effect for the island of Hispaniola on the southern coast there as this hurricane scrapes by to the south and then again approaches Jamaica as a category three hurricane, a hurricane warning there. This is new the Cayman Islands now under a hurricane watch as that hurricane passes by likely as a category two hurricane. So again, here's a look at the path it is expected from the National Hurricane Center to weaken just a little bit but still winds of 155 miles an hour. A major category four hurricane again approach Jamaica as a cat three, the Cayman Islands as a two maybe make landfall again in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico as a cat one that would happen early Friday. So anyone vacationing in the Cancun area needs to stay alert with that and then it will move into the Gulf. Now, the good news is it's expected to be a tropical storm when it does so. But still we will watch that closely behind it. The system behind it, a low chance of tropical development. Thank goodness for that. But still adding insult to injury with more rain on the way for those islands that were slammed today is a first coast news. Weather impact alert day. What is that?
