Hunting Harleys, 1954 FLE Panhead bobber

this is this is a 1954 Harley Davidson panhead 54 was the lux of the production rigid panheads lowest number they only made about 5500 that year cilenti 54 is a rare item this is a wishbone frame it's a factory wishbone frame most likely this is the original frame that came with this motor in 1954 most of your planets had a wishbone the last few hundred or so straight leg frame there is some argument with it was 200 to 500 which is straight leg and 54 is definitely rare it has the wide glide front end as you see this is probably the original white glide that came with the bike and certainly the early trees early legs Minh shaved this is what you call a bobber the reason being a bobber has a non rake nut this is the original neck a chopper you would chop the neck and rake it that is the difference people today try call chopper bombers because they don't know the difference this is a bobber built old-school it has a magneto we're going to fire it up here in a minute Magneto's if you don't know the bike you probably kick your brains out we will fire we will write it here momentarily so bear with me up I have to kick my brains out of it it might we're gonna fire it ride it see how she runs the bag is hot all the time so enricher come on thank you well I should worry about 250 pounds all right we gonna air into the carburetor on the air clear off that's run good but unless you're familiar with this particular machine you're gonna kick this you get real lucky little hot-air cult change little warmer not warming the motor it changes everything you got take it out and ride it and learn that particular machine to ride it every day then she'll start eating for you till then you're gonna kick you don't want to kick it get rid of the magneto okay you
