Hungarian Zeltbahn in the woods with the Honey Stove

[Music] so hi everyone i'm urban girl and welcome to my channel um it's about 46 degrees so about i don't know 6 7 eight degrees um celsius bit drizzly today but so far no wind which might be a good thing um we're under some restrictions so i can only come out locally so here i am again in the local woods and um i'm going to set up the lava the hungarian zeltband just for a bit of shelter from the rain um and have a better lunch and do about a forest bathing um but i'll talk about that a wee bit later on uh and they meanwhile i better get cracking before the rain gets any worse [Music] [Music] so [Music] so [Music] so well unbelievable cannot believe it it seems like there's actually hundreds of emojis out the day i mean it's nearly the middle of november it's freezing uh so i don't know what that's all about i actually left my spray in the house um i was going to take this net and leave it at home and the very last minute i thought it weighs nothing just leave it in your bag thank goodness so that's why i've got the imagenet on at the moment guys but anyway that's the setup i'll show you what it looks like i'm sure you've seen it hundreds of times so i've got my usual ground sheet um and i bought this new quilted picnic blanket from decathlon um which one of the other guys i think his name was justin um on the larvae owners worldwide recommended this is a smaller one and because i didn't think i really needed the large a for the zelt band but probably you would be better with a large but anyway and the good thing about this is it's quilted on the top and but it's got a kind of waterproof backing on it so hopefully that'll help keep the the weight damp ground off me today just use the stick i didn't bring the lava pole so just use the stick obviously um and then pegged it out i've not really pegged it out meg omega and i hung my jacket up there for a minute because it's quite wet in the inside with all the schwelter of constructing the lava so yeah that's that guys i'm going to get inside for a wee bit and probably lie there with the maginette on me well i didn't really uh well i did lie here for a wee bit but uh i just i wasn't going to have a fire today because um you know it was raining kind of raining a wee bit when i got here and i thought it was going to be really pelton rain all day but it doesn't seem to have materialized so far and um there's a way but yeah chill in the air but the midges potentially these midges being out again is very annoying so i've decided i will light a fire even if the wood's damp er i'll smoke and it'll help keep them away because otherwise you know they just drive you so mad that you end up just having to pack up and go home the minute you get here because they drive you absolutely mental um with our constant biting so yeah i went and i got some a dry fight well dry ish you know and i've processed it up a wee tiny bit um but the main thing is really just to try and get a fire lit so that at least can i can have a better smoker to get rid of the magic so that's the plan get the fire on [Music] so so so so so uh [Music] uh [Music] uh yes huh do here we go guys my nice thick soup and this time i'm having naked chicken katsu i don't know if it will all fit in that small pot so we'll try our best [Applause] yeah not bad just about just about [Music] fire has been a bit smoky because the wood's definitely wet but um it certainly helped with my juice which is good the soup doesn't take long anyway it's one of those quick ones it only takes five minutes i do really think this honey stove is really good really not had any problems with it so far at all it seems to work every time even with a really wet wood it's definitely good don't know whether he put some water in it probably should put a wee bit on it it's not raining too heavy it's kind of just spitting down a wee bit so it's not too bad i think i will add a bit of water it is really a thick thick soup it has a really thick suit you can't get too much on it anyways with the brim that we pot actually holds a lot more than it it looks like it holds that wee pot though so that's good from that point of view i suppose so so [Music] oh soup's ready guys i did bring one other wheel actually with me i mean i came in the car today so you know might as well i'm not traveling late i know it's a lot of stuff to unpack and pack just for the day but if you're going to spend a couple hours you might as well be comfortable that's my motto so i brought my um snug pack jungle blanket because i that's why i bought this because i really figured for day camping than that it's perfect i know you don't i know a lot of you don't have me any day camping but um you know especially in the winter when you can't really always get out for overnights and all that for the weather then they i think it's good to come out in the woods anyway you know so but yeah that's why i bought one of the reasons i bought this snuff pack jungle blanket because i thought in the winter i can just wrap myself on that and just snug as a back in the rug or snug as a bug in a zelban anyway my soup's ready um so i'm going to keep the fire smoke in there as you can see there's quite a lot of smoke there yeah there it's here um yeah i'm going to keep that smoking and burning as long as possible just to keep the edges away and i'm going to enjoy my soup that suit was yummy just sitting here by the fire all right that is quite cold so i just came out for a seat just to finish my soup um so i'm gonna be hunkered back in the inside the larvae with the blanket on me again to stay warm and then they check the time see what time the sun's going to go down make sure i give myself time to pack up etc well there you have it guys i'm all packed up get the half lavi on and the other half's in my bag on my back so here's where we were that's my my blanket and stuff and some of my rubbish there but no trace left behind at all i was watching the birds all while i was lying in the the zelt band it's funny as the the light starts to fade um you know they get ready to hunker down they've got the right idea well thanks again for
