unto them it is not for you to know the times or the seasons which the father have put in his own power but ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and in Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth and as we have read the scripture and it says that they came together with Jesus and they begin to question him about what was happening and you might think what kind of question is that why are they asking you know are you gonna restore again the kingdom to Israel but previously Jesus had been talking a lot about the kingdom I'm restoring the father's kingdom and talking it so this was the question now so when is this going to happen because he starts talking about the power and the Holy Ghost so then it says that he said it's not for you to know the times or the seasons in other words don't worry about it don't worry about it don't worry about what's happening now and don't worry about who's who's going to be in charge because you have to remember that people were looking for a messiah to come and fight wars they were looking for a messiah to come and be a military man they were looking for that kind of power so when Jesus came and he showed up born in a stable they're kind of like something's wrong with this picture but jesus said to his disciples listen don't worry about that don't watch the time he said what you need to worry about is the power and since we are living in this same time too we are worrying about what's gonna happen with bricks it we're worrying about who's gonna take over we're worried about our job security we're worrying about all of these different things but jesus said listen don't worry about that don't worry about the times and the season what you need is the power because when you have the power it doesn't matter what the time or the season is you know that you have a source of power so he says listen I'm gonna give you this power and he says that you shall be witnesses and this is the reason for the power the power is and it's nice to come to church and we gather and we enjoy God I'm not knocking it but that's not the reason for the power it's good to clap and sing but that's not the reason for the power he says I've given you power to be witnesses so that everywhere you go someone must must know Jesus you are a source of power trust me says we all have so many gadgets and appliances and you know when that thing is dead it doesn't matter how much technical ability it has it doesn't matter how much memory it has doesn't matter how much Texas you can send doesn't matter how much videos you can record but if that thing no have no power it's not working I'm problem we need to check ourselves that we truly have the power not just a power to shake not just a power to jump and prance and it's good but we need power to be witnesses that when I show up Jesus shows up how can we be in our world when I say our world you as individuals you all have a world the people that you have in your world I may never meet but God has placed them in your world to impact your world so you need the power to impact the people that brother's place around you so he says that I want you to be witnesses in other words I want you to represent me wherever you are to be an ambassador so that when I show up everybody know Jesus is in the room on our workplace when someone has a headache we're so quick to give them the paracetamol ibuprofen just call their name Jesus that's what power is about to be a witness and so when were a witness for Jesus that's when truly the kingdom will be established saying so bad this is we're living in very uncertain times we don't know what tomorrow brings but we know who holds tomorrow and if you know you have the power then there's nothing to worry about the situations that face have some power called the name Jesus because when you truly know who you are and when you know I saw you before he was under that tree praise the Lord and Nathanael believed so easily what the Lord had said so if you can believe when I just tell you that you will know even more things so today brethren you're here because the Lord has revealed himself to you by many infallible proofs when you couldn't find a job the Lord made away by infallible proofs and gave you the job but he didn't just things of the kingdom oh praise those so what can someone do to be saved but to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the removal of this sins yes by many infallible proofs he healed us from the sickness but he think to heal the body he let us know that we cannot rely eternity through Jesus in the kingdom oh praise the Lord when the life circumstance was so hard and the wilderness was so rough he didn't just deliver us out of the wilderness he didn't just provide us with bread or food or stop the Sun from smiting us by day nor the moon by night but he revealed himself revealing things of the kingdom to know that after all that is over we gotta meet Jesus someday when enemies would want to come upon us and eat up our flesh oh my god it was by the power of God not by my clever leanness but by the power of God that they stumbled and fell I wasn't wiser than them but the Almighty God was wiser than them so I realized that because of the things of the kingdom he's preserved us you know give God thanks for the miracles he's done for you but you got to know the things of the kingdom oh praise the Lord Jesus we've got to know he's coming back for a holy nation he's coming back for a righteous people he's coming back for young people that live for him he's coming back for old people that live for him so I thank God for all the things he's done for us today kept us in the traffic kept us all the way when we could have died in our sleep but the things of the kingdom means something because we've got to make it through in Jesus name stay strong in the Lord don't lose sight of the kingdom and when people who want the para plane and they want the ship my god he has a hole for us in eternity something with the MAS can't get to something where rust and decay can't get to we've got to know the things of the kingdom he told them about the Holy Ghost with all the miracles they saw they needed the Holy Ghost with all the things he taught them they needed the Holy Ghost Mary gave birth to Jesus which he was on the day of Pentecost with them receiving the Holy Ghost no matter what is provided for you you need the Holy Ghost no matter what cares he's delivered us from we need the Holy Ghost no matter what enemies have stumbled around us we need the Holy Ghost we need the Holy Ghost hallelujah we need the Holy Ghost he kept them in the wilderness not because of their holiness but because of his righteousness we need the Holy Ghost he closed and my god oh my god their food every day all so many things for them but they died because of unbelief Jesus can give of the kingdom and make room for the Holy Ghost make room for the Holy Ghost things of the kingdom are so important my god if he doesn't heal me from the sick again he's given me the Holy Ghost he's given me a place where my name is written but I praise Allah by his own blood we've got to have the things of the kingdom after God had done so many things with the children of Israel and he done so many miracles in the wilderness mozi says I want to see your face the miracles wasn't enough he wanted to see God himself so with all these does for you seek his face seek his face and when you finish seek his face from all in Jesus thank you Jesus thank you Jesus thank you Jesus when they brought Jesus to Pilate they said what for the need of any more witnesses we have heard him for yourself I will give God thanks for the word of God it is a Word of God and we need the power of the Holy Ghost we need a fire of the Almighty God we need the anointing power of the Holy Ghost and that's why the disciples before they could preach sing teach whatever they had to be filled up with the power from heaven and that's why Jesus said you shall receive power after the Holy Ghost has come upon you and he shall be my witnesses he said amongst Jerusalem to the uttermost parts of the earth so it's very very essential the Bible said is the earnest of all hope the Holy Ghost is the earnest of our hope so whatever we achieve in this life the Holy Ghost isn't more important everything else because the song says heaven earth shall pass away but Jesus never fails so we need the Holy Ghost the song so we must have that fire and Holy Ghost that burning feeling that keeps the prayer wheel turning let's sign our salvation that makes me move makes me shot makes me cry this song so we need a fire the Holy Ghost I know whatever we achieve in this life we need apart the Holy Ghost whatever we achieve in this world we need a final mighty God shall we pray the Lord Jesus with your friends I wish all
