How Yoimiya, Ayato, and Eula became the WORST pulls | Limited 5-star meta analysis

hey everyone it's juice here hope you're keeping well happy new years's and every year to play tons of garlic impact today I want to ask you all the question what makes a five star bad I got P you got P to understand that we need to clarify what makes a five star good in the first place and Def find that separately for DPS and supports for starters let's think of what I think makes a five star good a good DPS should front L their damage or have strong sustain damage they should be great in their Niche or their flexibility has to be actually worthwhile they got to a best in slot in at least one team or else they fail at their main job being good at their primary role is super important and they should be worth choosing even when they highe contest what about a good support a good support should help the team Meet The Game's end goal do more damage even if they're healer whatever utilities can they provide how many utilities can the ud provide in general are those individual utilities actually well polished are they more than just a jack of all trades master of none that's another good kind of support a jack of only one trade but is a complete Master they are so relevant to their one best is slot team they boost its position in the meta 10 fold now we've established what a good five star is but what makes one unforgivably bad but the point of this video is not to deter you from pulling or building a unit if you truly enjoy their design and want to play them shoot I'll I'll play venty against bosses I I I don't care um the video was meant to help those who are on the fence of certain units and want to know what the best options are so if you really want to pull a unit no matter what it's in your blood don't feel stopped by me but you are still welcome to keep watching the video and I encourage you to leave your thoughts in the comments okay first things first having no Niche let's take a look at y Mia for example she's a very standard five numbers pyro vaporized DPS easy to use cheap and a semi expensive team with flexible unit fair enough the problem she has way too much competition in her oversaturated Niche wherein no short supply of good pyro GPS units H is a better driver for Yan and finina she does more damage and synergizes better with the two units y Mia does not y Mia needs bu you to work with finina as well which is a pretty tall ask Linny is the Premier pyro GPS right now he's one of the strongest hyper carries in the game an out classes the numbers of all of our pyro DPS units if you only want a pyro carry Lenny is the man to go to or or fan booy to go to Yia doesn't excel at any particular thing she can do single Target damage sure but that's not in high demand with all the options we have now hold on a minute I need to drink water her damage is also quite subpar she's inv best in slot in any situation which makes her as a five star fundamentally bad of course she'll do fine enough DPS if you invest but by process of elimination Yia is bad every unit should have at least one purpose you can make an argument for even some of the most mid fstar units and wver justified in existing albo got buff with Navia best in slot and E of Geo teams uh also he's pretty thank you rle uh strongest I said the name wrong Reese Ley strongest unit to use for consistent melt teams G best in support in mono cryo Yia has nothing in comparison you can argue ease of use but listen cup noodles are easy to make that doesn't mean they taste good compared to some restaurant Ramen Y is simple to use but you're also getting no Top ofthe Line damage she also has no other good archetypes the supports she uses are much better utilized in other areas so to me yia's damage on single Target is fine but it's by process of elimination that she ends up being one of the worst five stars when you have no Stellar Niche to fight against your competition youve become irrelevant and not worth choosing for anything this is the Fate that y Mia suffers CLE is also similar she used to be justifiable as CLE was the most powerful monop pyro unit to play but then Lenny came out and now there's no reason to play CLE at all she does allow finina to forward Vape though but there's more easy to use vaporized choices and Lin is the monop Pyro guy oh yeah bomb kid is still a better unit than fireworks girl a unit like Dia also struggles as a festar support she does have some use cases in Linny monop pyro and G burn M but she's best in slau in neither of these teams most times you can clear a this faster if you avoid using Dia completely and use only three team members she also doesn't help with the main thing thing a support should do help you clear faster DIA has no useful supportive utilities outside of being an HP sponge finina did make her a little better but even then you can't justify choosing Dia over any other option available she goes against the very definition of meta most effective tactic available this is how I personally like to value how meta unit is are they close to being the most effective tactic available what else could make a festar suck being backloaded looking at you YULA I'd claim that despite YULA having some scrumptious thighs she's the worst limited five star in the game no pull value and you could make the argument that she's best in SL for physical [Music] and a while take but I've ever played femin or fiz Rosaria frin is comparable to Ula uh if not better you can use your lawn with them and drive stronger units and save yourself from pulling a bricked five star unless you is your wife then yeah fair enough a big part of what makes YULA suck is her backload so YULA does indeed fire off all her damage and one big blow it might make some for some nice damage per screenshots but it makes for some awful sustained Abyss rotations a majority of ula's damage relies on her burst so if you miss a crit you seriously have to reset the chamber that's insane yes it's a funny meme but when a unit's gameplay issues caus you to have multiple chamber resets a bit nuts that's not fun not only that but it makes her rotations long and missing her burst can once again cause a chamber reset you know your unit has gameplay flaws when even freaking CLE is more fun to play her burst is also useless in most Overworld scenarios enemies die too fast for that Overkill burst YULA might look like she's doing a bunch of damage with that burst but after a whole rotation it's actually quite a small amount for a hyper carry it sucks to say all this I do love YULA as a character but I can't deny that she would be a much better unit if she did front loed damage front load means your unit does a bunch of their DPS all at once instead of building it up over time Ryden is a great example of this her initial slash is massive front load another thing I personally like about Ryden is that that's only 30 to 35% of her damage so if your initial slash doesn't crit you're completely screwed over yes you do lose a lot of damage but it isn't unrecoverable you D out your damage in 7 seconds and voila you're finished only negative is if her initial slash uh kills everything you're left with that are afterwards and look at Navia she's so front loaded it's almost hard to believe uh even if your Navia only does 300K for shot that's 600k up front this makes are so flexible for so many teams since Navia has nearly no fi time uh Nava's nukes are portioned into smaller blasts which prevents from going overkill on small enemy waves uh YULA also doesn't like Bennett you have to move around a lot with her to build up her Stacks she'll dance right out of vet Circle you need flexibility with her because of how long she takes to stack up her burst even units like Shia and Sino armor preferable I love [Music] Shia anyways um both are very expensive carries with sustained damage this is damage but isn't done in one big blast but rather over time front Lo's preferred but sustained still Beats backload by a long shot you're still dealing damage often uh making YULA backloaded did quite seriously Doom her her teams are expensive she is expensive and her artifacts are expensive for what DPS that any fourstar carry could beat I swear even the like two Hazel Mains that exist could deal more DPS than your average YULA by the way if you enjoying the video why not to this moment I can finally crap on Ayo finally yeah Ayo is one of the worst characters in the game he sucks genuinely where's tiro for sure you know why he tries to do everything and ends up doing nothing you could argue IO is a hydro enabler oh my God cool we don't need one of those CH child is 10 times better he'll do far better in international over Ayo and if you're having such a hard time with rotations play rational at that point it will still be better if you want the hydro Flex into hyper Bloom teams or Bloom teams yolan will always be better of an ioto Shing Chu or use kooki it will still be better and then what everyone sees a US ah Hydro DPS laughable laughable especially now that we have nuet finally I said his name right especially now that we have nuet no matter what team you try to put AO in N will be better Vape no hyper Bloom no Bloom no Hydro hyper carry no stealing your liver no NOA Lees the best hyper carry in the game right now Ayo officially has zero pull value nowadays because of his existence Ayo can indeed slot into a bunch of teams but he will never be best in slot name one team to me in the comments where Ayo is a better use case over n and child you can't make an ease of use argument like yo Mia since n is extremely dead easy to understand pick up the balls and hydrop pump wow trying to do a bunch of things at once and then doing none of them right leads to Ayo being irrelevant you can usually get more out of sating Shing choen teams as well you don't need IO is a driver for any of the teams he works in using him in freeze is also super cope building him for ER means you're getting no damage out of his burst or normal attacks sure force them in but you'll get more use out of on fields and G since Morana is the only place you could use them in freeze after all both G and IO both have quadratic scaling bursts speaking of which yunin isn't even good for Ayo not for the teams where you can apply him effectively so while YULA is technically the worst limited five star inion his entirety in my heart ayato is worse the man's up at least YULA is hot comedy SLE War eight rotations as for supports in my experience most five star supports are pretty good units I've never had a huge issue with any of them but what I will point out is people had a similar problem with Kook at release everyone was mad that Kook tried to be a jack of all traits master of nun type character we've all heard the same song and dance we all know that Kook is good now cool know that I'm using Kook right now as an example an example and I do think she's a solid good unit right now but there were some valid criticisms made against her a five star or any unit for that matter needs a harmonious kit everything in the kit should contribute to the main goal of that unit's role split scaling works against this albo is great in geot teams but having an attack scaling burst for no reason is pretty weird you're going to be building him on death so this creates disarray within his kit people hated how her burst was on field when she was not a DPS or how her jellyfish just randomly had attack scaling or in my opinion something I still don't like about kokami is her constellations why do they further her role as a DPS successful constellation should aim to enhance the unit's current play style we leave C6 for the funky weird mechanics like how finina from C1 to C5 has her supportive capabilities enhanced but at C6 she becomes a DPS oh no I may or may not have said C6 Shen in my opinion has nice support CRS getting her C C1 and C2 enhancer play Styles a crow support very well someone who plays the element A lot it was an incredible investment to make in trying to be a jack of all trades Kook had no specific Niche at the time that was good it just so happens we're all playing healer impact nowadays and that Kook has some external factors which make her good in more situations like being able to hold tdds notd with the milth being hydro and such being a bloom trigger is sick as well her crit passive is weird no crit rate all right cool but no one was going to build her on crit anyway it's a waste of passive which should have been used for something else her burst is also only of used to exent her jellyfish duration it doesn't enhance any kind of team white support of course onfield kokami has its uses now in bloom and fing monoh Hydro yet at the time nobody had a clue what the PO was it only gives you healing bonus as for Niche five star supports we only have Shena a does do a great job 40 to 60k burst ticks in an AA mono cryo team is no joke get shinha AA goes from mid to like the six for fifth best hyper carrier right now damage wise which is excellent considering how badly treated cryo as a whole is right now fan is a four-star but you might as well be a five-star support at C6 pulling sh up from being irrelevant to being a very competent hyper carry in the current meta who knows maybe shanan will give Shia even more Buffs we'll have to wait and see we need more like farzon imagine if faran was a five star and if her C6 was her Baseline at c0 and your constellations to improve upon her buffing with make up for Shia's crappy C4 at least don't worry Shia I still love you well hopefully video was able to detail what I think makes a bad five star if this video was a little different from my other
