How we get the Perfect Pocket Print Placement!

today i'm gonna show you my steps on how to get the perfect proper placement on pocket prints let's go all right guys we got the platen set up i got my lines drawn out i want to take you through and show you how i set it up you have a 16 inch wide platen which i'm gonna throw my center line at eight inches boom got that for pocket prints i like to go four inches from the side so you just take it in four inches draw that line so we got our other two lines one at two inches the other one's at three inches from the top edge yeah so the reason why i do a line three inches from the top of my platen is because i want it to align right where my registration mark is on my screen where the pocket print goes when i bring that down it's going to line up right on this cross point at the three inch mark from the edge the reason why i do that it sets up the pocket print where i want it with the neckline of the shirt at the top of my platen so i'm pre-measuring out where i want my shirt to land every single time i load the shirt i got the measurements on the platen just loaded a shirt now i want to show you placement of the shirt on the platen so you get that properly aligned pocket prep so when you're working with different sizes the one thing you're looking at every time you load each shirt different size is this side collar to line up with the pocket print and an easy way to make sure that that's lined up every single time with different sizes is my laser the biggest thing with the laser is that it saves me time and is consistent speaking of saving time this is a perfect segue to our sponsor which is printavo [Music] so if you're anything like me guys it's easy to get stuck in the administrative not so fun part of work it's hard to get organized and get orders out the door on time that's why there's print table printable is software to manage your shop and grow sales whether you're just getting started or have multiple automatics printavo can help streamline your business they work with thousands of shops and manage their orders handle scheduling automation and now online stores too so click the link in the description or use promo code golden for 50 off your first month of prince habo the biggest thing that this laser does for me is it's consistent is that every time i load a shirt whatever size it is i know that the placement is going to be dialed and right on where i need it to be the other thing is for so long ago i used to spend so much time just trying to dial in i used to try on numerous sizes of shirts just to make sure the pocket print looked good on each shirt with this laser it's going to cut out all that time that i wasted and really dial in every pocket print no matter the size the reason why i set the laser up like this is i want that top line to be the top of my pocket print so i can always from time to time just make sure that i'm that five finger three and a half inches from the top of the platen with the laser it it shows me every single time that i'm right on and i don't have to keep on constantly measuring or checking all right we got our measurements on every platen we got my first shirt loaded on i got my laser hooked up so that first pocket print and the other ones are dialed in yeah we'll show you the finished product here in a second [Music] [Music] i used to struggle on pocket prints i used to literally try on each size shirt and like make sure it was just properly aligned on each shirt just because i was so paranoid on having a print all up in the armpit or too far up on the neckline using these steps that i've shown you today is how i've gotten consistent pocket prints on a regular basis hope this helps you out thanks again to prince habo for sponsoring this video click the link in the description get your 50 off see you in the next one [Music] you
