hi everyone welcome back to another video um today we're going to be going over how to use some transfer stickers so I have some transfer stickers up over here on my desk um so transfer stickers are um if you've ever used temporary tattoos they kind of work similarly like that but obviously it's not temporary it's permanent on your paper but how you apply it is kind of similar so they'll typically come like this like a regular sticker but um instead of being able to peel this off and then sticking it onto your page what you do is rub the design onto a surface to transfer the design from your sticker sheet onto your page and um it's it's really fun so that's basically how a transfer sticker works but um I will walk you through how to use one so I have some different um transfer stickers from different brands over here these are from mu um mu is a Taiwanese company that makes a lot of these they call them print on stickers um and they usually come like this and there's two sheets inside and um I'm actually going to be making a a separate video All About mu and the products that they offer so stay tuned for those but these are some new designs they're really pretty uh this one is midori's transfer stickers yeah on the back here it has some instructions uh for how to use this and these um this one is Yan Studios transfer stickers so cute and this one is from lul vaita another Taiwanese company let me see if um this Midori one also has two sheets included okay so this is just one sheet in the Midori but besides the Midori one all of these will include two sheets per um package so let's take a closer look at how to use a sheet of transfer stickers so if you if you take a look at this sheet closely you'll see that um you can actually kind of tell like there's an very faintly there's like an edge like an outline to the design that's kind of outlining what you're going to be transferring onto your page and you can also see that this sheet is made of two of these layers this um backing and then the sticker itself and that's kind of the the case for um a lot of these so looking at this lulita one you can also see here there's the backing and then the design like that and that's um mainly to protect the design from accidentally being transferred onto uh something when you don't want it to be let's try one with this sheet from Yohan studio so I'm going to do two ways of using your transfer stickers the first way is to just use the sheet itself so you can actually um separate this page like this and you can place your sheet over whatever you want to transfer the design onto and basically take any kind of tool that you want to use that's going to be kind of um good for rubbing into the sticker so you can kind of think of this as like your if you've ever done like scratch off like lotto tickets it's kind of similar to that too um mu actually makes this like really great stick wooden stick that you can use but I don't have one so I'm just going to use my scissors actually so let's say I want to transfer this this design over here onto this page what I'm just going to do is start rubbing it it onto the page so I'm rubbing along where the design is on the sheet and you want to make sure that you're not really touching at least um with this first method you want to make sure that you're not touching any of the other designs cuz then that will get transferred onto the page also so very carefully now I'm going to check how I'm doing here so yeah if I start to peel this off I can I can see where where it's um starting to come off and transfer onto the page you're going to be pretty slow when I'm trying to peel this off yeah you can tell here that this design has been transferred onto my page look at that um so here you can see that I actually made a mistake and transferred a little piece of this design onto the page so that's something that you have to be aware of and try not to touch the other designs when you're doing this but yeah and what's great about transfer stickers is that there's practically zero thickness to it there's like absolutely no bulk that that you're adding to this paper which is really nice it's as if it's been printed onto this page it's very flat which is great if you are journaling or scrapbooking and you don't want to add a lot of like thickness to your page and this is also great for layering um layering some designs onto each other I'm just going to place him right on top of this box here and see if I can transfer that one okay and transfer stickers are really fun um I think just the process of doing this can be something fun that you can do while you're journaling or decorating your planner and it's a nice way to slow down a little bit and spend some time uh making your page look pretty okay let's see how I did oh my God yeah that's really [Music] nice okay so I didn't get the flower fully yeah so I was able to transfer this second design on top of this one and it layers pretty great um there's not much bulk to it at all you can see here um I think I could do a better job if I was spending a little bit more time with these but yeah I messed up and didn't get the flower here what I like about this method is that you it's very neat and there's no mess that you're making um yeah you can keep your sticker sheet intact and keep using it like this it it's easier to store put this right back in the sleeve here and that's it so another method that you can do is to cut out the design that you want to transfer let's say I want to use this one here it would be a little bit annoying to try to transfer this like this like by rubbing it um straight on the page without getting all the other designs around it so what I'm going to do actually is cut that shape out first oh I guess I can I can just cut this out just on the yeah so I'm going to cut this out okay so I cut out my little design that I want to use and now I can just use this guy right over here with my scissors let's see if that worked all right that worked beautifully and now I have another person added to my design so this method of cutting your design out is great if you're kind of working on a more um complex design on your page and you want to be able to kind of like maneuver your sticker around more freely instead of just using the sheet and like trying to get the perfect position position um it's kind of cumbersome with the whole sheet kind of um moving together so let's say you wanted to add like this some of these stickers on here you can cut this right out and [Music] then this allows you to be more precise with how you arrange your design on your page um yeah this is so much easier to just like do this than um try to get the sheet arranged on the page perfectly just to get like one design on your page okay so I have that there and I'm going to rub again yeah and when you're lifting the sticker off you can kind of do it slowly and check that the design has been transfered woo that's so fun and I have a little flower transferred perfectly onto this page okay let's do another one from this flower sheet so I think um let's say if I wanted to do like this design that's on the bottom here it's a little bit bigger it's kind of easier to rub on and and if I were to do this one I would I might just uh go with the full sheet down like this and then just try to rub just this design but if I want to use this design in the middle of the sheet or like this design here it's kind of harder to see like what you're doing precisely then I might want to actually cut this out again and then it's much easier now to kind of arrange it exactly how you want it on the page I'm going to sort of layer this again over here next to to the flower that we just did okay beautiful so the second method um it's great for kind of being more detailed and precise with your stickers but it does leave you with this kind of mess as you go um if you don't mind it that's fine um it might be a little bit trickier to like store this it might be a little bit Messier but it gives you great control and then the other method being very neat you are not cutting up your sheet you're just using your full sheet like this and um it's easier to store that way so yeah I hope you enjoyed these two ways of using your um transfer stickers um you can really use any tool I was just using the end of my scissors I hope you enjoyed watching leave us comments if you have any more questions about transfer stickers and we will see you next time bye
