in this video I'll show you how to use the text-to-speech feature in filmora 12 to automatically convert text to voiceovers or speech welcome to this video my name is David and I hope you're well wherever you are around the world now what I'm going to do here is I'm going to use some stock media and let's assume the video I'm creating is maybe on game packs or doing safaris ATC so of course some good zebras here and this is free stock media from pixels library and if you play it it looks like that so what we need to do next is we need to have our text ready or you can actually just type it out so what I'm going to do is I'm going to add or use the quick text feature and then let's add some basic text I'll double click on it so that we can actually make edits to the lorem ipsum and then I'll copy some text here so let's copy this text and then paste it right inside there so this is the basic text that we have and I can actually extend it to the particular section so it's hello and welcome to a channel today we're going to be talking about the best places to visit in Kenya so we want to convert these texts to voiceover or speech filmoratov makes it easy because all we need to do is we'll need to click on this text to speech feature that automatically converts text to voice so I'll click on it and this is going to bring us to this dialog box the text speed parameter selection where we need to make the different selections so what language is this title in that's really awesome let's say it's in American English but at the time of recording this video or 16 I believe it's 16 languages are supported so you can see if your language is available I'll go with English us next up we have a couple of voices right inside here depending on your language selection up there so let's use Dave click on leave and then you have a couple of parameters right about here so we have the speed how fast or slow do you want them to speak I just want them to be normal and then we have pitch low normal or high I just want it to be normal next up we have transcriptions are automatically matched to the timeline now what this necessarily means is the audio will probably be timed to the transcript or the text that you have let's click ok and this is going to go to the next section showing you the characters available and then you've got the characters that are going to be remaining once that is done so that is going to create the audio down here so you can see how long that audio is going to be and if you'd like to purchase some more you can click on this and then go purchase more units or more characters that is for example if you want a hundred thousand characters it's about 3.99 dollars per month and if you want 200 000 characters it's 6.99 dollars per month really really awesome but everything else is the same depends on your use case scenario let's go back to filmora and then let's cancel this and then let's close this now by default once the audio is added it brings out the audio options for us to make any changes if you would like we would like to but let's just click OK there's nothing we want to do and the audio is going to be added into a media pin here if we actually play it hello and welcome to our Channel today we're talking about the best places to visit in Kenya sounds really really good so we can actually bring this back because we've seen sorry Ctrl Z we've seen how if I can go let's say up to some place like that and then you can keep adding more media depending on your use case scenario the videos the text until you create a full video but for the use case or these particular example that's how it looks like and sounds you can play it hello and welcome to our Channel today we're talking about the best places to visit in Kenya sounds really really good for text to speech so that is how you can use the text to speech feature in field model 12 to automatically convert text to voiceovers or speech I hope this video is of value to you thanks for watching
