How To Use The Table Top Lace Cutter On Leather

the tabletop leather stripper will cut strips from 1/8 in to 3 in wide it comes with 25 1/8 inch spacers in alternate black and white each spacer holds a blade which allows it to cut one to 24 strips at a time in 1/ 18 in multiples the conversion kit has 16 1116 in spacers and 17 1/8 in spacers which allow you to cut 1 to 16 strips in 316th or any width in 1/16th increments the blades will cut all Leathers from 2 O to 10 12 O in thickness spacers have self-aligning recesses and shoulders to allow stacking without the bolts in place you can cut any length of Fringe laces belts or straps blades are easily changed and can be reversed when they become dull to set up to do some quarter inch laces just uh put a blade in every other uh slot put your leather over and pull down so that the blades punch through once you are satisfied with the width and and position pull down the hold down bar and secure it with the wing nut as you see me doing here then just simply pull down and pull keeping the leather running straight up against the guide on the left hand side to cut additional strips just take the piece that was left over from your original uh width pull it down as we did before pull down this hold down bar and pull your laces through setting up for another width is quite easy just remove the bolts as you see me doing here first with the screwdriver and then by hand remove the entire stack of spacers and pull them apart to remove the blades you have been using I would now like to make uh some 1/2 in strap so I will use four of the spacers in between blades and I'll put four spacers and then one blade and now I will add four more spacers and then I will put in another blade and I will now assemble this to the rest of the stack and then we will put it back onto the frame as you can see now with a 1 and 1/2 in wide strip I'm putting it on just like we did earlier pulling it down setting the the bar fastening it and then we'll pull the lace through keeping it up against the guide on the left hand side and we'll have three nice straps
