good morning this is Stephanie I'm coming to you from mqx Midwest in Springfield Illinois and I wanted to share with you one of my most favorite path easy templates now we call these paths easy because you start in one end you finish and the other end and then all you're gonna do is twist the template and continue quilting so you're gonna do an entire row your quote without ever having to stop start mark reposition or any of those things that you know we kind of dread and you get a perfect design every single time which is phenomenal anyways we do make this in the larger size as well so if you have a westerly foot or another brand foot you can get this in the larger size and it will work with that foot we do make them for the long arm or sit down the arms as well you just want to make sure you order the quarter inch thick if you have the Bernina 72 foot again you're gonna want that that quarter inch thick template as well so I've got my hot glue on the back so it's nice and grippy and I'm ready to start I've got my small ruler foot on my machine foot is going to drop down in that little groove and once I'm in the groove I literally cannot get it out unless I raise my foot so all I'm gonna do here is go ahead and pull my bobbin thread up to the top because I don't want to get that little knock nest in the backside of my coat here and I'm just gonna do a couple stitches just to lock that in place so that I can get rid of these threads you'll want to make sure you always do that because I have actually sewn myself in because those threads get tangled up around the foot there so all we're going to do now staying the one fighters the other [Music] [Music] always stopping needle down and then we're going to just twist the template and continue now I'm going to do one more this will so that it doesn't look like this fidgeting road then that mean it happens because don't understand the nested process because that masking is kind of a turn and these designs exactly the same way so their design it doesn't and that was the end of the way we'd just do a quick little back stitch and then go ahead and cut our threads here and I want to show you what that looks like so you get a really nice design notice my back tracks are exactly on all right so now when I come down get ready to do the next row all I'm gonna do now if you're you know want it to be absolutely perfect you can do some measuring but I don't typically do that I you know I eyeball everything and that's your own personal preference so when I come down to do this next row the templates gonna go in place just like it was in the previous row so I've still got the curl going here just like I had going here now what you do want to make sure of is that this is actually going up into this previous row now that is what nesting is all about that way you don't end up because if I did this down here I'm gonna end up with a one inch gap that's gonna be between those two rows and that's all you're gonna see is that one inch gap so you're gonna want to make sure that your nesting the design and once you nest it and line it up for the first one that's it you can just continue going and it will nest itself every other time so I'm going to go ahead and put this back under my machine here pull that bobbin thread up to the top again do a couple little stitches here to lock it in and trim my threads so I'm going to go ahead and stitch this so that you can see exactly what it's going to look like nested properly holding that temple he says if you don't contract depending on the template if you're pushing too hard too again stop needle down and you're going to spin but you can see how nice this nest it looks very very random alright so I'm going to go ahead and do the second one so you can see and that way you'll know exactly what it's supposed to look like and as you know this really doesn't burn [Music] I'm gonna go ahead and pull that out and then you can see how nice that looks so this is probably my favorite overall design you can get those online at WWF country stitching calm and you know if you're gonna be in the Springfield area we'd love to see you stop on by our booth it's number 408 here at the Crowne Plaza Convention Center thank you
