Hello friends in this video I'm going to show you the new magnetic made feature in Sol to show that feature we need to create some basic part component so let's get started so for the first step right click on the right PL and choose sketch and let's create a sag with a 1 in diameter and now let's use the two command and choose the mid play option and is it to 2.4 in now right click on the top PL and choose noral two and create this C with 1 in diameter on this top playe now let's use the2 command again this time we are going to choose the blend option and let's ex2 this to 1.3 in now let's use the shell feature and SL this threee face and we need to set the uh thickness to 0.1 and click on confirm and now let's create a reference play okay our first reference will be this face and let's flip the direction and set the distance to 0.2 in and click on confirm now right click on this new play and choose nor two and create this Saga and has gone on this new play by using this di now let's ex this let's uh reverse the direction and ex this to 0.15 in now let's use the M feature and we need to select this feature and our Mir plane will be the right plane and click on confirm now you have to create the similar feature on this stop cylinder by using I mean by creating the new reference play that procedure is same as before so take your time to do it now let's get ready this component for magnetic mate well in order to use magnetic mate we need to add some con where we want to apply the magnetic mate so first step let's go to the tool and choose as a publisher and here we need to uh add the ground plane it is an optional uh you don't have to choose this ground plane if you don't want to now let's add some con so select this H and now we need to select this pH and now click on ADD connector okay this is the one connector now let's add uh two more connector select this H and select this face and click on ADD connector let's do the same on on this side select this HED and select this face and add Connor and now click on confirm okay this component is ready for magnetic mate now let's take a new file and right click on the top Lane and choose sketch and create this two sag on this Top Lane and is it a sketch now let's go to the right play and choose number two and create this 2D sketch on the right play by using all these di Mission I just use Li and ask command to create this sketch now let's use the sweep command okay our first cross SE will be this two ccle and our part will be this one and click on confirm and now SL this surface and to sketch and now SL this cirle and click on conver D now let's use the upser D command and upser this circuit to 0.1 now let's use H2 command Okay reverse Direction and is Ste this up to 0.2 in now slide this face and choose number two and create this two c on this face by using 0.1 in diameter and 0.1 op now let's uh is the sketch and use SI two command and is to this 0.1 I mean 0.2 in One Direction and 0.15 in other direction and click on confirm now select this face and choose sketch and select this CLE and click on conver now let's use the command again and this time we are going to choose the up to surface option and SL this surface and confirm it oops I think I need to add Mo CLE so let's edit this sketch and S this circle and click on confd now isit the sketch okay we got it where we want now we need to prepare this component for magnetic M and now let's go to the two menu and choose use as a publisher once again we are just going to add connector so click here and select this H and select this face for ma in and let's uh click on ADD connector now let's add one Connor at the bottom SL this H and SL this face and now add Conor okay okay this component is ready for magnetic M to and I also created this crossfitting on a new f it is pretty easy to create this model you can do it yourself and I also apply some filler on these edges so take your time to create this you can use your own dimiss tool now let's add some con where we want to apply the magnetic mate so click on tool and click on S publish once again slel this H and this face and click on ADD connector and let's do the same to the other three places I'm not going to add the ground playe in this model too and I also created this live buff on the new F by revolving this very simple to the sketch uh to make the assembly more interesting look you can create your yourself it is pretty easy to create and if you want to you can also add TR at the base uh just like this it's not necessary for magnetic mate you can leave it if you want to now let's add con at the base of this light bu and click on S publish once again we are not going to add the ground play we are just going to add the connector so click here and and select this Edge and select this face and click on ADD connector and click on confirm okay this pave is also ready for magnetic image now you have to take a new assembly F and now let's import some of the component that you want to assemble and now let's apply magnetic mate to this component to apply magnetic mate you need to click on one of this component and drag this component to other component and the connector will attract each other you don't need to worry about this and then release it and you need to click on this lock symbol in this way you can uh rotate or move one of the component on each other if you don't lock this magnetic Mage that's going to be a problem let me tell you what I mean now let's duplicate this 90° elbow press control key and drag it in the drawing area and now let's rotate this now click on this componer and drag it to this Con point and release it and do not click on this log symbol and now let's try try to rotate or move it around see this is the problem that I'm talking about it earlier if you don't lock the magnetic mate you cannot rotate or move it around the way you want so be careful with this now click on this component and drag it to this Conn point and click on this lock symbol and now let's try to rotate or move it see this is working perfectly and now let's install another component now click on this connector and let's place it on this top connector and lock this magnetic M now duplicate this 90° elbow press control key and drag it on the drawing area now let's rotate this and now drag this connector to this Conn down and release it and lock this magnetic M and once again duplicate this 90° elbow press control key and place it anywhere you want and drag this connector to disconnector and rese it and click on lock now let's do the same for the top and middle one now let's insert the last component which is the live buff and now click on this live buff and drag it to this connector and release it and click on lock symbol and now you can rotate or move any component the way you want so take your time to do it well that's all guys if you like this video please leave a like And subscribe my channel
