How to use Le Support® - Thomas Viloteau

hello this is Tom voto and I'm here to walk you through a few different ways to use Lort the tort was born in my basement a few years ago I designed and cut the first versions myself um and after playing on them for a few years I got so many people asking me where they could get one that I decided to make it available to everyone and this is how Lort was born the idea behind the this support is simple I wanted it to keep the guitar completely stable and when I say stable I really mean completely still I wanted the support to free up my arms and hands so that I could play without holding the [Music] instrument to put it on you simply align the lower bar of the guitar with the leg rest of the support you stick the suction cups on the edge and you adjust the height of the support this is about where I place so I have the suction cups already put in and then you're in place and what you can do right now is really play hold the support with your legs and free up your arm so you don't have to hold the guitar by anyway now you will see that the support has a few different holes for the suction cups this is to allow for many different ways to uh vary the Angles and the height for example for very tall people you could get rid of this suction cup and push it all the way here and you have a support that is very very high much higher than how I play but this is for very tall people you can go very low as well all the way down if you prefer a very very low position like that to change the angle of the neck you can experiment with moving the support up or down so if I push it up quite a ways and I align the suction cups to the edge of the guitar I'll have a support that is fairly low once you've decided on the height and the angle that you like to to play with you should make sure that the suction cups are as close to the edge of the guitar as possible and this is to minimize the play between the support and the guitar the support is designed in 6 mm plexiglass it is very thick and quite rigid but if the suction cups are too far from the edge of the guitar you will get some play the support could be extremely stable on your legs but if there is Play Between the support and the guitar then the guitar is not stable so you want to make sure the suction cups are as close to the edge as possible to minimize all the [Music] play if you like me and you want to make the guitar completely stable you will want to get the hooks and the elastic strap each support comes pre fitted with two brass inserts you simply screw in the hooks and put the strap around your [Music] waist when you fit the strap to the support you get 100% stability it's like the guitar is anchored to your body you move and the guitar moves with you you can play and press quite hard and let go there is no bouncing back of the guitar it's like somebody is holding the instrument in place and you get to play around it for me the strap was a revelation I could finally play and not worry about holding the instrument it's my dearest wish that you will enjoy this experience too
