hello. This is Neural Ninja. In this video, I will teach you how to use basic ComfyUI. How to install a basic custom node and use the workflow We'll also show you how to deal with problems that arise when using workflows. First, when you run the basic ComfyUI, the basic workflow appears like this. The first thing to do is to install ComfyUI manager. All additional expansion packs or nodes in ComfyUI can be placed in the custom node folder. It doesn't matter if you go to the ComfyUI manager site, download it directly, and unzip it. In this way, you can copy the compressed file, unzip it, and use it. A better way is to use a program called Git. You can use it much more conveniently by installing and using Git. After installing Git, go to the custom node folder in Explorer and type CMD in the address bar to run the command prompt. You can easily download it by entering git, clone, and address here. You can install all expansion nodes in the same way, but now that you have installed the manager, you can easily install them from within the manager. Please close ComfyUI and run it again. The manager button is now activated. Let’s click to check. If you click Install Custom Node, you can search for the node you want to add and install it. You can search for and easily download not only nodes but also various models here. Now let's load the workflow. The workflow is also provided as an image. In most cases, it is provided as a JSON file. I'll take the workflow used in the previous video and call it. You can load a workflow file by dragging it like this. When loading a workflow written by someone else, if there is a missing node, it is displayed in red as Missing Node. In this case, if you click Install Missing custom node in the manager, If it is a custom node in the manager DB, it can be displayed in the list right away like this. From here, you can install them one by one by clicking the install button. Once everything is installed, please restart ComfyUI. You can restart by pressing the restart button. It is convenient to stop running the console directly and then restart it. If you run it again, the modules used in the installed custom node will be automatically installed and run. Installing many nodes may take some time. Once you have installed all the nodes, you can now install the models. No special error message will appear and it will just be displayed in red. It is convenient to look at it in detail or check the error message in the console window. In the case of checkpoints, search and download from a place like CivitAI. Just put it in the model checkpoint folder. The remaining common models can be easily added by searching in the manager. I will search and install them one by one. Download, install the models, and run it. Now that everything is installed, we will load the image and run the workflow. If you see a red error even though you have installed all of the custom nodes, This is a case where the node cannot be imported in the Import Failed state. If you look at the top, you will most likely see an error saying that a specific module does not exist. In this case, run the command prompt by entering cmd in the address bar of the executable folder. You can install the module by writing the installation command yourself. After installation, run it again and you will be able to load the node properly. Above, we learned how to call and use a workflow in ComfyUI. In the next video, we will learn the basics and how to configure nodes so that you can create your own workflow. I hope the video helps. I'll come back with a good video next time. thank you
